Burger King in South Ayrshire

Fast and hot food, order was spot on despite making multiple amendments to each meal. Freshly made and tasty Service was pleasant - served by Alex who was polite and friendly

Ordered a cheeseburger no ketchup, there were a group of 7 kids behind me and the store seemed rushed off their feet dealing with their orders individually one by one, understood it’s get ordered like that but your in a busy town, stood waiting for 10 minutes for a single cheeseburger no ketchup and they start announcing the store is closing over speaker and the manager more concerned with kids sitting in a closed off seating area for me of their customers To wait Ten mins for a cheeseburger that arrived with ketchup, a cheeseburger no ketchup it’s not hard is it??

When you want what is advertised you expect it not to go ack to your room and realise that the best part of your order is the drink . No wonder you close o early if your serving what can only be described as utter garbage not only that have the Gaul to charge £10+ only to go out to find food elsewhere. But on a plus side I will make sure that when the rest of my team come next week they won’t be going there

Fast friendly service from all the staff. Nothing was a problem for staff to help accommodate our needs. Food was delicious definitely be back.

Very good service and hot fresh good. Staff were very attentive and helped with everything I needed without a fuss

Food cold and expensive....was over charged and got the wrong drink...not busy at all......small portions.....

Must be the low in fast food...expensive as far as these places go...very small chips portion...all the meals were cold and the restaurant was quiet( it usually is very quiet..tells a tale..?)

agressive and no respect in how they deal with customers when you complain about theyre attitude they smirk and laugh at you then lie accusing you of swearing at them to justify theyre behaviour

Fast food - not so fast! Ordered food and waited 20 minutes before it arrived! Used the self service but you would be better cooking your own burger would be quicker! Ordered and paid £10.69 to be told no milkshakes available- was handed a cup to get my milkshake then told there isn't any. No refund offered just handed me a small Ben & Jerry's instead. 4 members doing nothing - everything broken, place dirty would not return. Awful from the get go.

I went today. Waited for ten minutes and had to complain to get my order. The Whopper was dry and is probably the worst burger I've ever been served. Won't be going back. Ever.

Shocking customer service, arrogant employee. Charged for full meals and received burgers only when call to query its apparently my fault for not ordering fries, when selecting meals the description clearly states they come with burger. Never use BK anywhere ever again.

I used to go to burger king often when I was in Ayr, but haven't been since lockdown, and I wont be back. The guy taking my order, was friendly enough, but there was one young girl who looked like she wanted to be anywhere else but there..face tripping her, the staff never used to be like that,, when I did get my order and went outside to eat it, it was cold and didn't taste at all like the burgers used to, half an hour later I had stomach cramps....never again

Abso rotten ! Cold chicken royal, bread roll unfresh.. avoid at all costs, staff look dirty aswell which doesn't help. No soap in the only toilet.......... don't say u weren't warned !!!!

Went in here yesterday but wont be going back. The person serving was ok and I couldn't complain about the waiting time as it was quite short but.....the meals were terrible. The chips were cold and looked and tasted like re-heats. The burger was cold and the bun was very dry. Most of the meal was thrown away. What a waste of money.

All had delicious food here on a limited menu seating plan was changed and a one way system tho one or two people complaining about queuing up,filled up our tummies though bit drab inside and dark.

Rude and clueless staff ....the food was ok when they eventually got the order right , the staff need retraining or sacking .

Been to this burger king for years, went through childhood as a treat and always before getting braces tightened through school, even if it was at half ten in the morning, great treat after secondary school and now an easy choice for a snack when shopping in Ayr with my little one.

Took my kids to burger king for a quick bite to eat,a completely with a baby came in asked for a bottle to be heat up for baby (were refused) said couple asked for cuppa of warm water! To be told they had to pay to get it £1.09p after they had ordered a cuppa each outragous water is free but they charged them to heat a babys milk disgracefull!!

Well I don’t normally take the time to post about chain restaurants unless I inhabit them frequently, but I was pleasantly surprised by how kind and enjoyable my quick visit to this Burger King was. Thanks for doing a good job!

Went to burger king with the family not expecting anything apart from a burger and fries . Kids had the cheap burgers my wife got a chicken burger and i ordered a bacon double cheeseburger which was 3.99 only reason i mention the cost is because it was the same size as my kids burgers ... anyway i took one bite and the bacon was frozen and i mean ice cold. I handed it back and said what the issue was got some attichude from the hairy biker lookalike that served me then got a replacement this time they had a giggle in the corner making my burger and stuck it in the mircrowave didnt like it at all usually love this burger .. anyway left Burger King took 5 mins and i was thrown up in costa toilets badly felt awful avoid avoid

Wanted some cheesey bites. Didn’t have cheesey bites. Waitress was rude to me. Still wanted cheesey bites. Waitress gave me snash. Still didn’t have cheesey bites. Never will I set foot there again. Because they won’t have cheesey bites. Smells weird too. Do not recommend. Wanted to actually give it 0.2 stars.

meant to get a long roll but instead the palm you off with there cheap 99 pence burger telling you theres no diffrence from the long roll to there small ninety nine pence roll but still charge 4.99 rip off never be back beware off this con

BK is always gonna beat McDs for food.... but as is always the case, incl here, BK lags far behind on facilities and appearance of their restaurants. This one needs one hell of a makeover. But..... tasty, quick, what-you-pay-for food.

Having trudge round the town centre on a wet day looking for something to eat we gave in to our grandchildren's cry's to go to Burger King, what a disappointing experience, even the children complained! The service was terrible with wrong or missing selections served, I witnessed same with two previous customers, our guy claimed to be new on the counter! The food was lookwarm at best, the chicken decidedly rubbery. The place was a mess with food evident on the floor when we sat down. There appeared to be no clearing staff at all in the fifteen minutes we were in the place. Not impressed at all and will not go back to any Burger King after this, no matter the pleading cries from grandchildren!

ok for a quick bite can be a bit grubby when busy but in a good town centre location. parking can be a nightmare

Had to wait for a burger and chips for a short while chips were lute warm grand daughter,s chips were the same would I go back don't think so

if u want a quick bite to eat this is the place can be busy depending on what time u go love the whoppers

Had a great burger with fries was very nice the rest of the family had other food was good first time in this one very good

The first thing you notice is the Duty Manager ( loose term) has a white shirt on 4 sizes too small and filthy, his assistant is the same, so must be the company uniform. The food was cold, which you don't know until your sat at your desk having lunch. It's thrown into a bag, and there isn't even a thank you or any form of communication apart from shouting at each other in front of customers, poor, really won't be back in there again, the place needs shut and reopened with a different team and a Manager who has some standards.

The food you get is what you would expect from a fast food establishment; however, this is not FAST FOOD. The service is slow and the place is dirty. There does not seem to be shortage of staff, yet nothing seems to happen. The bins are full and you can't fit anything else in.Not a pleasant experience.

Had a shot of me the chips were cold never again burger was lute warm sat in a draughty seat every time door opened you were frozen

Me and my little girl been going to Burger King for years but I would say for the last month or 2 the service is terrible, three times ran out of toys for the Happy meals and twice was not told till the food was on the tray my little girl was not happy and upset. also I feel service is bad want to rush you on and if you ask for something or say can I have a different toy the staff do not look happy with you, some of the men are nice but the women do not care. went in today and the food was not nice and diet coke was not right. we will not be eating in Burger King Ayr anymore. also about two weeks ago I got a happy meal gave the lady £10 got my change did not check it till i went in another shop and went to give the person £5 note but it was only a one pound note only place i could of got it from was burger king but when i asked the man was nice and checked the money on the till and when he come back said it not from here the till is 2 pound something under which was ok but i am 100% sure it was from burger so i was short changed for £5 and staff know me and see me all the time but did not matter.

have always liked the whopper but as disappointed to be hand a roll and burger with no salad and garnish - it was a very busy time so it was noisy and the staff must not have understood my order

Arrived at Burger King 10.50 am asked the girl behind the counter if they were still serving breakfast. She replied yes after she had looked at the time. She also told us that she wasn't on the till. So we patiently waited while the person in front was served. Then we waited and waited while a queue formed behind us. Then we were served by a man who told us it was 1 minute after 11 and they had stopped serving breakfast my husband said this was unfair and the burger king employee continued to heckle us as we were walking out( how embarrassing ) will make sure head office informed about our treatment in front of other customers

Went here for our lunch and this filled us up till dinner time, had the angriest burger meal deals, burgers were hot but delicious.

Slow slow slow.There was about 5 people queued in front of me and only 1 person serving.When I finally got served, the man was very blunt and seemed like he would rather be elsewhere.I asked him what they served that was gluten free, and he said: "ehhh I'm not sure" - didn't even bother to go find out for me. I then asked what was the drink options with the kids meal and he just pointed to the empty fridge. In the mean time, another 3 people queued up behind me and a female member of staff and a male manager were too busy laughing and gossiping between themselves to bother with the customers.I live in Ayr and my kids love coming here, but the staff need to get their act together.

Spotlessly clean, fresh food and very comfortable seating. Fast efficient service from happy employees.

LOVE IT! Although the "cook" cant read obv because a plain bureger means nothing on it. ie no cheese or salad or sauce. maybe just a bad day????

Very good place. If your into chicken I would recommend the chicken tender crisp and they also have things like mini burgers and chicken nuggets for the kids. Very clean eating area

My wife and i visited here at the weekend.We were served promptly and the food was up to the usual okay Burger King standard.My wife Katie was very pleased with the toilets which looked modern and very clean- the best she has seen in any fast food outlet.

been here a few times. used to be good but now feel as if the tomato sauce and napkins are rationed (some other BKs are not like this). I also feel as if they are short staffed as often there are only 2 or 3 staff cooking/serving. Also you are limited where you can sit if you go in after 6pm as they close some areas for cleaning to save them time later at closing time.

Popped in for lunch with the kids, was ok! Tables could do with a clean! Service was alright, food ok, chips not the warmest!
