Burger King in Allerdale - Phone Number, Reservations, Reviews

Please sort your “official” opening times out as it is stated on the company’s web site and app that opening hours to 9pm! Apparently they close at 8. Not good as twice we have traveled a 15 mile round trip to either find it closed or turned away just before 8pm!

Bought 2 large meals & 1 burger. At the drive threw, Asked repeatedly NO ONIONS but did they listen, NO...Only found out when we got home..Tried ringing but they don't pick up the phone..At nearly £30 something we can't afford very often. Won't be going back

The restaurant is filthy, toilets are worse with no toilet paper and broken toilet seats. I ordered through the touchscreen and I got different to what was ordered. No receipt paper in the machine so couldn't prove it.

Waited over half an hour to be told my order had been given to another customer. Got told to take the nuggets off of another customer after they supposedly pride themselves on their hygiene. Personally, I think this is disgusting and incredibly unhygienic since they are a fast-food chain who serve near enough to hundreds each day. I dread to think what goes on in that kitchen. Waited ages to be given a replacement for my dinner. Raging is a complete understatement.

Awful experience; drive through closed, so I ordered inside… my usual Angus and large chips… to be presented with a burger with no salad whatsoever and a small bag of fries. I went back in to the shop to complain and was told they’d run out of lettuce… why on earth don’t they tell you that before you order!?! The staff remade the order, this time with a slice of tomato and a full size portion of chips. I won’t be going back… what a shame the management haven’t addressed this branches shortcomings

I love this place The food is always piping hot It is a long wait as they are terribly understaffed but the staff are friendly If you use the app it’s also a bargain

Shocking drive through experience. Come on management....let's get a grip of the logistics here. 10 mins sitting at the speaker is unacceptable.

Used the drive in , ordered a basic order which was a hamburger and medium fries, a double cheese burger and large fries and a carton of chilli sauce. Paid and had to wait at the front. The person who served me was also serving inside which was obviously a problem as he wasn’t concentrating on my order. This happens a lot and I have been given the wrong order before! I received two separate cheeseburgers, no hamburger and no chilli sauce. This is unacceptable, as Mac Donald’s can deal with larger crowds both inside and out with no problems in Whitehaven. I won’t be going there again.

Worst BK experience ever! We were the only customers in there and should’ve taken that as a sign. Whoppers, fries all cold. Drinks mainly carbonated water. Left with some nice cramps though…

awful staff,awful restaurant. Been a few times since opening a couple of years ago and it’s just horrible.staff are unhelpful or unfriendly,the few tables are usually dirty or messy, things are missing from the menu.it’s just so stressful and so slow. Been to Burger King all over the country and this is not the normal standard. It’s nearly always fairly quiet and well staffed ,ie more staff than customers,yet they still seem unable to cope. Tills aren’t even manned so usually have to shout for someone upon entering. They don’t even give receipts as apparently they don’t do them anymore. The store is really giving Burger King a bad name

Really disappointed ☹️ we arrived at 7.30 pm , ordered food , 30 mins later food was ready but they had no fries/ chips left ?? So was offered onion rings , 5 packets we were given (for 2 of us ) that is 30 onion rings ! I love onion rings but not that many ! Staff friendly but only 2 working, will not be coming back. Needs more staff and good supply of chips

Popped in with our grandson for a lunch snack. Only ordered a kids meal and drinks. There were 2 people in front of us, yet it still took over 15 minutes for the order to appear. As for the staff, I’ve seen quicker moving snails! I could see 5 members of staff. They could not keep up with demand on a quiet weekday, god knows how they will cope in full swing kids school holiday. Send the staff to McDonalds for a week to see how fast they should be working!!!

Ordered via the drive through just before 1 pm. Waited a while at the collection window to then be told to wait out front. Waited and waited until just after 130pm I was in my slippers hence why we did drive through but gave up waiting and went inside very embarrassed by my foot ware to find our food waiting in the bags and by the content they most definitely had. Had to wait again for my drinks and sauces. Arrived home 55 minutes after I left (Burger King is less than a mile away about a 2 min drive) my food was barely warm, the drinks not full and the fries barely filled the bags. Had previous poor experiences there and gave it the benefit of the doubt today. I won’t be back in a hurry. Would not recommend if you are looking for fast food !

My wife and I popped I'm fir a quick bite to eat, shouldn't have bothered! We had to search for a table that wasn't filthy, had to call through to the Staff in the back in order to be served. We ordered two Whopper meals and upgraded to Large, again shouldn't have bothered, the so called whoppers came with no tomatoes or onions, just a beef pattie with mayonnaise, lettuce and sliced gherkin. When questioned about the burgers poor quality, Staff stated they hadn't had any tomatoes for two weeks! I feel this should have been pointed out at the time of ordering as should the fact that only coke zero, cherry Fanta and diet sprite were available to drink. And the tiny portion of fries served with a Large meal was laughable! We will both never return, its a rip off!!

Third and final time for us here first two times we were the only car and were sat at the drive through for 20 mins for the food and was disappointing only warm after waiting that long, i knew i shouldn’t have went but the wife decided to try again an got our food i got a whopper and opened it up only to find it dripping in grease literally running out the wrapper the bun was soggy and shiny with the oil it must have been deep fried, i decided as i didn’t have any rubber gloves or a spill kit i wasn’t going to try and tackle the oil slick whopper so decided to kindly return the 10w 40w Castrol burger and the two flat tasteless drinks and get a refund which i did get with strange looks from the staff and not an apology in sight but on the plus side if the garage is ever shut and my car needs some oil i can pop in burger king for a whopper

Seen the reviews myself and thought oh no but pleasantly surprised. Only 6 min drive from our hotel so perfect for a quick bite. Food was pretty fast and actually walked out of there with food that was piping hot! Very tasty, staff friendly and place was clean. Dont let the reviews put you off, I know each experience is different but really was fine.

Had a couple of takeaways from here the service is always friendly even if sometimes a bit slow, food always hot and fresh. Not had a bad one from here.
