Burger King in Northumberland

Food lovely as always. Doesn't seem like staff can be bothered, no words spoken other than calling out order number - Not sure how they expect me to carry 3 drinks as 1 person - ordered 9 nugget meal and 6 nuggets given. Disappointing as food is always spot on!

Burger was nice the portion of fries was shockingly small I counted 10 chips went to ask for the packet to be filled up and I saw that the two members of staff in the back were throwing cheese slices at each other laughing and giggling like two small children so I just gave up and walked away very disappointed ☹️ and also they looked like they'd been wearing the same uniform all week I've seen homeless people looking cleaner and smarter 🤢

It is filthy, it was not busy. There were 3 lads behind the counter having a chat. It would have taken no more than 10 minutes to do a clean and sweep the mess from the floor. There was food on the seats along with empty tomato sauce wrappers, napkins, straw wrappers, salt wrappers. There was a tomato on the floor along with chips(which as a health and safety point of view is a slip hazard) and something on the floor with hair attached I had to venture to the toilet and OMG what a pigs sty that was. So much grime buildup. It needs to be shut and have a refurb. We will not be visiting again, can’t believe food is served there. It looked like vermin heaven It is disgusting, it’s a health hazard. It would be interesting as to what a mystery shopper would think. Someone from head office needs to pay a surprise visit and get their house in order

It's a service station with BK starring alongside a local pie shop. Always a consistent burger. My favorite burgers.

Quite easily the dirtiest services I’ve ever been in. Toilets are diabolical. Amazed that public health haven’t shut it down. Staff friendly enough, whopper like warm. Just praying it doesn’t make us sick as it’s the start of our holiday!

I'm over looking the atmosphere . Food itself here is a lot better burgers , lot more taste . Very filling chips , didn't hold back on salt as that's what I like even bit un healthy. The staff is polite , great customer service. To order is on machines at entrance inside order and pay food , bit like mc Donalds. Five star very pleased of service and food.

Been in today ordered 2 chicken royales a coke and a monster. The young lad that helped me was tremendously helpful and had an amazing attitude 5* service just a shame I didn't catch his name

I really enjoyed my cheese burger. Will go again soon. Could have done with double cheese in the double cheese burger. Would be better than a big mac. The fries were very good.

More care needed in the cleaning of tables and floor .

The location's accessibility was a major plus, allowing us to resume our journey with minimal delay. Upon entering, we were greeted by the familiar and comforting sight of the Burger King menu, boasting a broad range of choices for both breakfast and lunch. The breakfast menu featured a variety of options, from hearty sandwiches to lighter, on-the-go items, ensuring that early travelers could find something to start their day right. As lunchtime rolled around, the selection expanded to include Burger King's signature flame-grilled burgers, alongside a variety of sides and salads catering to a wide array of tastes and dietary preferences. For those of us with smaller appetites or in need of a mid-journey snack, there were plenty of minor hunger options, including chicken nuggets, fries, and onion rings. The kids' meal options were particularly appealing, offering a balanced meal complete with a toy, which was a hit among the younger travelers in our group. What truly stood out, however, were the milkshakes. Thick, creamy, and available in several classic flavors, they were the perfect treat to complement our meals, offering a moment of indulgence during our trip. Good customer service and good food

I visited late in the evening with my young daughter. We were the only patrons in the joint. Outnumbered by the staff, they quickly prepared our order with jovial efficiency. The burgers were of good quality and we engorged ourselves sufficiently. We left with a sense of wonder and mystery and a hint of ketchup.

Good job this isn't closer. I'd never be away. Food always lovely.

Chips cold suprising really as food is cooked to order. Service is pathetic. I have never been able to order and get my food within 5 mins of ordering. Pity really as BK food is a tasty change. Service lets this place down. It needs to be relocated to a better site with more room and then maybe the kitchen will be able to cope better. Bad design and I cant believe the company built on such a small site. I think they were trying to take business away from Mcdonalds. It didnt work. I counted 11 cars driving through the Mcdonalds drive through whilst I waited for my cold chips and simple burger order and was told that they had NO diet drink.!!!

Staff need to sort there attitudes out , try to order food at the counter to be turned away and told to use a machine but if that doesn't work then come back to the counter , not helpful one bit

Went to Burger King to go to the toilets as we were passing a motorway service station.It was fantastic and worked out very well.The toilets are in the Burger King,the toilets were very clean.Also the Burger King seating area was very clean as well.My only point to improve it is to make the toilets unisex.

Everything was cool, I mean cold , 8 in the car to late to complain 👎 not only do the staff need retrained. What is the management doing about it, probably have no managerial skills or just don’t care 🫵

The place is dirty. Self serve milk/sugar/salt etc are filthy. The public access toilet location means people walk through the sit in area to use the toilets and the hand dryer is going constantly.

we ordered quite a bit of food but the service was still fast, the dorito chicken bites and cholli cheese bites were the star of the show

Food was barely warm. Toilets were a disgrace. Staff don't have the time or the inclination to check and clean regularly. Avoid at all costs. Dismal place.

Was alright the guy on the counter had an attitude when I asked for the missing sweet chilli sauces that we added to the order apart from that it was alright standard burger king

Dirty restaurant and toilet area. 4 people who ate from there yesterday have all been poorly today. NOT a bug as 2 people who didn’t eat from there have been absolutely fine. Phoned the store to be told “well staff eat here and we’ve all been ok” Always missing items too. Yesterday we were missing 1 whole meal but didn’t bother going back as the meal was on a deal so it wasn’t like we had 1 meal less. Bad service and no customer services number given. I would have liked to know if temp records and probing is used here.

Bless them, this must be a nightmare place to work - just due to how quiet it is. Nothing against any company or the people but he seemed so bored... not really sure what else you could to help liven this place up since it's literally a pit stop with a travelodge next door.

Usually nice food and can't complain about it, but yesterday's chips were awful and my Argentina Angus was straight up burnt in the edges, I don't mean a bit of colour, I mean burnt, my girlfriend's veggie whipper was also burnt in the edges. The inside is stuck in the early 2000s. I know the carpark is sort of out if their control but it is disgusting there is rubbish and litter in every inch of brush, grass and trees needs a serious clean edit: changed my review to 1 star, I ordered on the kiosk, I asked for a slice of cheese and no mayo on my veggie whooper when I got home neither of my requests had been done, also missing chips, the food was cold and they forgot my coke which I noticed when I was there

Absolutely disgusting place. What has happen to Burger King these days. Not at all a nice place to eat. Filthy place that needs a deep clean. Sorry to say but it needs a rebrand to Burger pauper not king. I do not think I will be entering any of its establishments ever again and coming from a burger lover that bad.

Food and drinks okay but the floor of the eating area was filthy and the toilets looked liked they hadn't been cleaned for a week. Staff were friendly enough and there seemed to enough staff to cope with all the duties but maybe not enough supervision ? Car park was free but rather small.

Food good with quick service. Staff pleasant. Toilets absolutely shocking: all stank and were unclean. One toilet blocked with paper and waste almost level with the seat, another seat covered in (menstrual?) blood. Position of sinks in toilets very difficult to get past.

A much better experience than the one at the Newcastle Airport

The Burger king is ok at best and only visit if you're on the road and have no other options. Not cheap either. The Staff were very friendly and quick to serve and have food ready!

Meal was nice went with family, service was ok had seats in side to use and unisex toilets. The toilets were a little dirty on this vist. Would go again so will see next time

Chips surprisingly awful. So much extra fillings you couldn't find a burger but when I did find it it was icy cold Latte was passable to drink

I ordered on Uber Eats at 21:15, I tracked my delivery and seen it was a minute away for then to get a notification to say my delivery had failed. Not only that but I was then unable to ring or reorder because the store was closed. The Uber driver made no effort to ring to inform us they were lost or they could not find the address like they have done in the past, they just failed the delivery.

This was a nice, clean Burger King. Nothing much to complain about. I did drop one of my chili cheese bites on the floor, but that's on me - not the staff's fault at all. However, on reflection, if they'd been greasier, I might have lost more than one to the floor, who knows... The only thing that let me down here was the fact that 2 drug taking men, possibly lovers, decided to litter the packaging from their meal all over the car park outside. I understand it might have been a date, but the main druggy was in hi-vis gear and could really have made more of an effort for his partner, who kept it North East casual with a black tracksuit. I feel they could have done more to show their love for the environment, but love will make you do crazy things. Even put the planet in jeopardy, if you fall hard for someone. Meal was great!

Stopped on our journey for lunch. Whole place absolutely filthy, the toilets stank, doubt they have been cleaned for some time.

I ordered a double cheeseburger, not sure if they ever cleaned the grill, had a weird taste of burned grease. Definitely not the same as Burger King as I usually have.

Since the refit, this is a great little Burger King. Food prepared fresh to order, attentive staff & pleasant toilet facilities, ample parking. Supplemental: Visit 4-3-22, looking a bit tired now, carpark suffering a major flooding situation cutting the spaces down by ⅔, still good food though!

Excellent food sat inside could do with heating

Service sometimes a little slow as it is rarely busy, when it gets busy service also struggles, food generally fresh and hot. The processes and hygiene of the staff is, at times, questionable, uncovered facial hair and long head hair, surfaces uncleaned for long durations. Appears to be a high turnover of staff, new staff not trained well like they would be in other fast food establishments, often lacking cust service skills.
