Burger King in Wigan

This place should be temporarily closed for full renovation works due to safety concerns. It’s dirty, the furniture is badly damaged, there are leak and mould marks on some parts of the ceiling, a lot of condensation on windows etc. Not to mention that the toilets have a strong smell of damp / mould so I presume the rest of the back area - staff room and kitchen must be in a similar condition. Won’t return unless it undergoes substantial works to address all these concerns.

Visited a few times on quieter days and the foods always nice hot and fresh, only thing I don't like is not being able to order at the counter with a member of staff. I have witnessed a few customers give up at the kiosk and just leave

Only went in for burgers to eat out ,very clean ,staff ok but it was quiet so cant comment on atmosphere

So not being funny but 15 quid for a handfull of chicken bites a watery half ice tastless 7 up and hard bread which tasted like it was going off surrounding my burger. Which was at best £1 worth of burger. You rip off merchants. Ill never go to kfc ever again. I could have got 3 times as much from makies and been alot happier cosidering they actually cook food propperly

Service was poor. No card payments accepted but the staff expected you to order at the booth and then pay in cash at the desk. They were reluctant to take order and payment at the same time. The toilets were filthy and the stench of urine was overpowering! This needs addressing as a matter of urgency!!

Amazing staff and the food was great

Despite the long queue we didn't have to wait to long to use the screen portals to order our food. The staff member working there was doing a good job of keeping everyone moving. We all enjoyed our food before our flight home.

Preferred burgers. Best to collect do not rely on delivery its not BKs fault if your delivery is cold or takes a long time wigan traffic is bad.

Absolutely appalling!!!!!! I ordered delivery from here and my food came cold and my burger was cold and firm. I also ordered a box of 20 cheese bites… I received a box with 4 cheese bites inside along with some onion rings and some dry chicken nuggets which tasted like they had been microwaved! A DISGRACE!!

Went to the drive thru, and the staff were very polite and alert to the intercom. I ordered the XL bacon double cheeseburger meal. The order was quick, food was flavourful and filling. It is sad that there are not many patrons in the restaurant and the drive thru was empty. I put it down to pricing and lack of deals compared to KFC and Mcdonalds. If BK UK wants to get more business they need to lower the prices because the burgers are amazing but many would rather eat at Mcdonalds because of the saver menus

This place looks like it's closed needs some serious updating.

Amazing experience today. Staff were very friendly, while I waited for the peppercorn angus (Harry I think his name was had suggested it to myself) spoke to me, asking how my day was. The manager even came around (Aaron maybe?) to speak to myself as well even though he looked busy. Upon receiving my peppercorn angus, I must say, it was phenomenal. I wish I could return 8 days a week! (pardon the pun). Thank you for the experience! :)

Very clean, Hot food, Polite staff!!

Been this evening and just wanted to say that the young lad who was serving this evening was such a wonderful guy, had the best customer service I've ever received in wigan since living here. Really friendly and happy guy. Also would just like to add get some new covers for the booth look like someone has been eating the chairs and some ice would be cool also the new self service really cool but no good when you can't order the full range of drinks for kids meals. But overall good food, good service. Don't forget the ice really wanted some ice!!! 🤣

As always a great Whopper with cheese meal.

Burger King is always overlooked, but as a change, often its better than other fast food burger chains :) just not as many around. Good food, cooked fresh is what it is, fast food burgers :)

It's the best burger house in the Wigan/Skelmersdale area. The staff need to come out and clean the tables a bit more, and the toilets are dire.

I went in with a friend, The service staff were excellent, got our order perfect, and double checked details with us several times to confirm. Very friendly and polite, I'd happily go back again.

Food was cold. Toilets were dirty and smelly. Staff couldn't be bothered. Ceiling falling down onto shop floor. Whole place looked shabby and dirty. Awful place to eat.

One is bring nice the food you can't fault for fast food but there is is no service even for fast food. The indoors is shocking. Its leaking and dirty. X

Food was really good. Customer service was a lot to live up too. The restaurant was a dump as shown in photos. It wasn't very inviting. They should have closed the restaurant until the issues was resolved and just used the drive thu.

Dirty tables and floor and was freezing my meal went from warm to sub zero temperature in less than a minute. Think I'll stick with mcdonald's least they their heating on when eating inside and everywhere is nice and clean!!!

Food cold, no tomatoes on burger. Fully loaded fries stone cold. Deluxe burger cold and dry. Sprite drink looked more like applesauce. Staff solem looking and stood about doing nothing. The premises are dated and not very welcoming . My meal went into the bin.wobt be visiting there again. Defo not value for money or a decent burger.

This place has gone down hill. Got a burger to take away tonight. Half way through the burger I pull a long strand of hair out of it. That is the last time I get food out of this restaurant.

Been about 5 years since my last visit, about the same as then, more expensive than my last visit, had the Angus pepper corn burger, quite nice, but wouldn't go every week.

What a turn around . Frequent visitor over the years and never been more than average however.. Ordered 3 meals (26/09) all were very fresh and hot, silly to say but everything down to the thick cut tomatoes tasted Uber fresh Fries were hot and perfectly salted Staff were friendly and welcoming Inside was very clean and tidy Best Burger king iv had in a long long time ! Better than most of the gourmet burger restaurants about if I'm honest !

Drinks machine is broken, the staff hand you cups to fill out from the broken machine and when you come back they offer to fill it from another machine, the same happened with every customer. It feels like the team is forced to work, no one smiles, the food is really BAD. I promised my family we'll never go here again

Called late afternoon and it was empty. No greeting or anything from staff who almost made us feel guilty for disrupting their day. The food was cold and the burger buns not as fresh as they could have been. We were not given or offered serviettes dips or anything and had to request them. Asking to be re served with a hot portion of chips did not appear to be taken well but was done begrudgingly. No thank yous or basic manners either which indicates to me some basic staff training issues.

Clean, fast service great staff the atmosphere could do with the radio or some background music of some sort of otherwise lovely dining experience

As far as fast food goes. I prefer an burger king than all the others. This is a good one as well.

Ate in the car, food is always great. The staff are ALWAYS super helpful and friendly.

It's been years since I've had a burger king, so today as a treat, I tried the peppercorn Angus and it was really good. The staff were lovely. Very happy with the service tonight!

Ordered a stakehouse crispy chicken meal with some chicken fries. And it was to die for, all hot and Juicy. The service was fantastic too. Everyone was friendly and would have a laugh with the customer ls too. Place was tidy and food came out super quick. I was gob smack by how good this place is. Would recommend it.

Visited the drive through. The order was correct with mixture of meat and vegan /vegetarian burger. It was good quality fast food and quick service although we had to park in a bay to wait for a few minutes for the hot food. I was impressed by the veggie/vegan burger not having tried one from a burger King outlet before.

Ordered large and received a small, food was cold before we finished eating it in the restaurant. The tables were not wiped down, yet the place only had one other customer at the counter ordering a to-go order. The shake machine is still not repaired after being down for over a year and a half. Restrooms smelled like an outhouse. Absolutely no excuse whatever, the staff was too busy telling jokes and doing just eat orders instead of taking care of their in house customers. I only went in to try the new menu item. Never again.

When really late on a Friday night and order a decent amount of food, got told to wait in the bay which I expected since it was late and it was a big order, the staff were really friendly and they came out with the food within 5 minutes which I really didn’t expect, the food was all hot and cooked perfectly, will definitely be back again

I recently visited the Burger King on Robin Park in Wigan and was pleased with my experience. The restaurant was clean and tidy, creating a pleasant atmosphere to enjoy my meal. I ordered a Triple Whopper, which was satisfyingly delicious, and the staff was courteous and helpful. The only issue I encountered was that some of the drink flavors were out of order on the drinks machine. Overall, I would recommend this Burger King location to anyone in the area looking for a quick and tasty meal in a clean and well-maintained restaurant.

Came and ate inside with my partner who has dietary requirements. Staff were knowledgable and very accommodating to our needs

It's much better than McDoanlds, so why don't more people choose it over the golden arches. The place could do with an update as it looks tired

Took our grandson earlier..most tables hadn't been cleaned off..food everywhere..couldn't get a hot drink..couldn't get your own cold drink n had no ice cream..

I had one of their royal sandwiches. It was quite nice, and the server was very friendly

Only 2 other people in there so not exactly rushed and they still managed to get the order wrong. Ordered for 4 people and they got 1 wrong and completely missed 1 off the order

Incredibly slow it's untrue! The extra star is because I was given larger chips for the wait...but it's always been slow since I can remember Update 2022 i was the only one in the drive thru but still had to wait 5 minutes for my order Staff friendly and helpful Burger King you are a rip off! £30 for 2 adults 1 child. Not spending money there anymore fast food should be cheap!!

Not the cleanest place also lots of young ones coming in smoking them vapes an yes sitting down without buying!!

The staff are friendly but service is slow, the food is lacklustre and lukewarm at best, somehow almost entirely tasteless and not even hot when freshly cooked, the drinks machine operates only a shot at a time and the atmosphere was dismal and soulless. Assuming this place has a manager of any kind they need to go back into training...

Great service very friendly staff

One of the few places in Wigan that serves milkshakes, however the staff are too lazy to clean the milkshake machine at the end of the day. The machine has been "broke" for eight months. If you're wanting a milkshake, please save yourself some time and frustration and go somewhere else. This particular Burger King is always dirty as well.

Service is always shocking here - the food is always fine, but the workers are so rude. Just carry on conversations whilst you’re trying to tell them what you want, quite snippy with you when they do speak to you - it’s like they just don’t want to deal with customers.

Ordered on the app, got here and it was ready within a few minutes, good service, great food, McDonald's could never 😂

At the drive through they only advertise the more expensive menus and not the cheaper options. I didn't like this as I had to ask the person on the other end of the speaker for the options, prices etc. Its a tactic to get more money out people. It didn't work. Also the more expensive options are a rip off.

Chicken Fry's where way underdone the chicken royal mail burnt to a chrips and chips where stale you clearly need new chef or who ever cooks it

Cold food after waiting a while, forgot the drink on the order and had to sit beeping and shouting for a good 5 mins before someone came back, even though the drive thru window was open and there were 4 staff members around. Drinks also taste like toilet water from here every time. Also told I can't give my loyalty code because its for click and collect only, not sure if thats true but just sounded like an excuse

Absolutely love this place, there might be abit of a wait but its because the staff are making your food fresh, i wish i could give this place 10 stars especially because of the customer service, always service with a smile, the staff are so friendly and cant do enough to help you

Always enjoy a Burger King. My maccies addicted granddaughter had her first meal here and devoured it. Plenty of menu choices, easy parking, clean eating area. Staff feint and polite.

Worst Burger King ever! Dirty, smelly and the leaking roof is still cordoned off. This defect has been here for more than 3 years! Just unacceptable. How this places makes money I do not know

Go here every home game as there aren't any near where I live apart from the charnock Richard services which is disgusting and expensive but Robin Park BK is tremendous not had a bad 1 yet

Great food was clean would give it 5 stars but went too put my food wrappers in the bin but it was overflowing. and 3 staff were just stood there not particularly doing anything immediate had to place the wrapper ontop of the bin it was that full. Great food though.

Don't often visit this chain and this visit reminded me why. Poor service due to lack of product knowledge and average food at best.

I paid £7.99 for a whopper meal. This is more expensive than a McDonald's big mac meal. Was it better? Arguably, but this is a moot point when neither meals are something I would choose. Burger King seems to have a more generous selection of soft drinks and the fries were hot, unlike McDonald's. The restaurant was at an acceptable level of cleanliness when I visited and the staff were efficient and professional. If you are a fan of McDonald's this restaurant does little to sway your opinion but as have no strong opinion of either perhaps the subtle nuances of fast food establishments have past me by. Parking was adequate and the wait time was reasonable on a Saturday afternoon. Christ I'm bored, does anyone ever read these reviews? What am I doing with my life.

Excellent food lovely setting . I booked table for us and my dog . They told us where to sit then lady came over and told us dogs were not allowed in that area I was very confused . Only sat were I was told .

Ordered all vegan meals x4 was all hot and served on time staff are friendly and helpful.

Overpriced burgers. Restaurant is scruffy. Chips are a childlike portion with an adult meal. Won't be going back.
