Visited this Burger King in May ( 7.40pm ) stood inside waiting to be served one person in front of us being served, then the assistant disappeared through the back stood for another 10 mins. then another obnoxious female assistant barged through hands on the counter and said in a shocking manner " we are shut ". Still ten mins to go by the way. This has to be the worst Burger King !!!

Have eaten at many Burger Kings and had enjoyable meals, last one on M1, however, should have known when using toilet before ordering it was not going to go well. Toilet (female) can only be described as disgusting. Ordering was a pain to start with as you were forced to use an electronic ordering screen, which required the server to come round and finish the order for us as it wasn’t giving the options wanted in a logical way. When the food came it was luke warm, bland and only just edible and when paying £25 for two burgers, chips, onion rings and drinks you want food that is well cooked. The kitchen wasn’t busy so I put it down to poor cooking and no interest in producing good quality food. I would recommend avoiding this and driving on a bit to what looked liked a very popular kitchen diner in a lay-by a few miles further west on the A59!

Ordered a chicken royal and i think the knife used to cut the lettuce was used for a fish order, there is something very unsettling about a chicken meal that smells like tuna, cross contamination basic stuff totally put me off going there again.

Visited the burgerking on our way back from a walk. The sales assistant showed very little attention and appeared preoccupied. I specifically told her I didn't want bacon on my burger. I placed a large order and it was all thrown into a bag, the fries spilling everywhere. The burger also had bacon on it. Very poor customer service and poor attention to our order. They couldn't have cared less. Won't be visiting again.

All of it was god awful, stay away if possible. Burgers were bland, they got the order wrong and the place was filthy. Not going back in there ever again.

Ordered a simple meal from Uber eats and amazingly they left the bacon double cheese xl from the bacon double cheese xl meal, absolutely terrible, never again. Useless

Orded Bacon Double Cheeseburger. Got Bacon Single. Did put the mayo on as requested. Restaurant was not too busy. No real excuse for error. Disappointed. Quite expensive at £4.69

Last visited this chain Euston Station in about 1990 and had basic burger. Much like Wimpy, the original we first encountered in 60s! Basic and all needed before train oop north. Now a burger must look like picture and have tomatoes etc. Well one slice! Photo lies. One veryy small slice tomato. No basic one allowed by computer till? Bun fell apart upon biting, horrible bread or what passes for that. Chips cold by time we walked 100 metres to Room in travelodge.

These bad reviews are rubbish. It is as good a Burger King as anywhere. Burger King have a certain standard to adhere to and Skipton branch measures up.

Not fast food. Staff move with the zest of a lethargic slug. "Food" took 40 minutes to come & was cold. Half of it was missing. Drinks were wrong. Comatose staff unable to comprehend the problem. Inside & out was filthy. Gregs next door was knocking out food at pace. Full of regret for making the wrong decision to go to BK.

Terrible, chips were cold, burger cold burger bun stall, dry no relish that's the food. The restaurant was dirty, depressing staff miserable what else can I say I remember when burger king beat McDonald's hands down, no more 🤢

Called in wish we didn't ordered 2 memphis burgers, fries no salt, black coffee and a tea, burger buns felt dry and crumbley fries loaded with salt and cold black coffee came white . Tables not cleanable spill on floor side of door, staff didn't seem to care about anything people in que going to Greg's wish we had.

Avoid. 20 minutes to get food that was cold and inedible. Left over half. Ordered black coffee got white. Requested no salt on fries. Got fries laden with salt so couldn't eat them. Total waste of money. Staff not got a clue whats happening. Tables filthy as no wipe down between customers. Just awful. Everyone who came in was waiting same time and was not busy. 3 of which decided to do greggs instead. Spill on floor not cleaned in 40 minutes we were there.

Grim, called around 8 pm to get a bite to eat after a long drive. Despite the place being quiet the seating area was a mess and the ladies loos really dirty. Our food was average, we ate it in the car and noticed a lot of rats near the bins and just wondering about . Upon looking at other reviews this is clearly an old problem , come on Burger King sort it out , totally unacceptable

Stopped for a bite to eat on route to a short break in north yorkshire, this unit shares a space with Greggs which is perfectly fine but my god the staff in burger king are in desperate need of some customer service and the food is expensive crap will never return to this unit

Shuts at 8 even if busy thankfully hadn't ordered as saw rats in the bin store which was overful . One to avoid

Universally Burger King makes good burgers and this was no exception. The burgers and the fries were great.

We stop off here quite often. It’s in a lovely location and parking is great. The food is the usual bk fair. It’s just a huge shame the grounds are covered in litter. Lovely lawns surround, sloe berry bushes, lots of birds but my goodness...

My family stopped here yesterday on our way to Lancaster. We ordered a fishfinger children's meal, 3 Kids Cheeseburger meals, Bacon Double Cheeseburger, Halloumi Burger, one chocolate sundae and Oreo Fusion, onion rings. The food was hot, delicious and fab as far as fastfood goes....

We went and the staff were nice but were super slow and prices were terrible I got home and was sick due to food poisoning. STAY AWAY FROM HERE

Never have I waited so long for food in a fast food place. A small queue which should have been handled without problem seemed to to create a a major delay! Food was ok but experience was a bit grim if im honest. Wont rush back

Even thou I live local it's the first time I've been to this Burger Time .

This place does not look inviting as it's quite shabby and desperately in need of a revamp.

Stopped off after a long drive from lakes to stretch our legs, some bad reviews didn't put us off, OK the place could do with a lick of paint and sprucing up but it does the job and the lady behind the counter 'lisa' I think was very pleasant, well mannered and welcoming.

The food is no difference from other Burger Kings (and so it should be). Small place, and staff ... well, what can I say. Friendly, but not overly interested. Toilets are 'shared' with Little Chef's and not always to a high standard.

Esperamos 10 minutos y nadie en el mostrador, toma mi orden así que salimos. Sólo señal de alguien estar presente era un conductor de entrega. No me impresionó.

Llamado para obtener mi nieta una hamburguesa y estaba indignado a ver disponible una mujer cambiando el pañuelo de su bebé en la única mesa para comer. El personal no dijo una palabra, y ni siquiera venir a limpiar la mesa cuando ella! Me alegro de que no venga a comer en 5 minutos más tarde, no que me comería todo lo que hay de nuevo como la comida también era desagradable.

I prefer BK to Macdonalds, but would never go to this outlet again. Dirty outside the shop and dirty inside. Dissinterested staff, in dirty uniforms serving luke warm chips and burger.Awful. So far off the pace of a modern fast food retailer.

Stopped off on our way home after a weekend in the Lakes , Decided to use burger King than the little chef, Very pleasently surprised as the guy serving was very pleasent and welcoming , The food was good and we wished a safe journey as we left ,would use again.

Having arrived at Skipton Travelodge, hungry after missing lunch, we decided to use the Burger King facility, simply for the convenience. There were no customers dining in, or waiting to place an order so we went straight to the service area to place ours. The two staff we encountered each presented as unkempt in appearance for their job roles and, having an attitude of disinterest regarding their responsibilities to deliver customer service. During our time as the only customers in Burger King, we expected that staff would dutifully utilize the then quiet period to undertake the necessary cleaning duties, in order to render the dining area one of an acceptable standard, (Health and Safety Standards, Food Hygiene Standards) in turn, providing the customer with a pleasant dining area at Burger King. The food was, as we expected, typical for the venue. As for the standards relating to the staff working in direct contact with the public, the experience we had was unpleasant.

Staff too busy interacting together and not paying attention to patrons. This outlet is usually the first I access when visiting the area, but I may give it a miss next time. I thought Burger King may have gone down the pan, but I had one in Sheffield that renewed my faith. My Bean Burger was missing mayo and sauce. I ate out as I was in a rush (Fast Food!) so did not want the hassle of returning to complain in person- sorry. Get your act together people!

Not only did it take a long time to get served, even though there was only one person in there, they where so disorganised the food was cold and, "E 'R'", and pushing a tray of not even wrapped food my way and chips hanging off the dirty discoloured tray, and falling to the floor. Seriously if this is what burger king is these days I will be eating else where.

my son decided to have a meal here before he went off to work what a bad idea that was as he stode waiting for his order to be ready the server dropped the top half off his bun on the floor and much to his surprise out from under the stove came Mr rat to pick it up he was in shock poor lad he just sat and ate his food which was disgusting and overpriced muck this place needs closing down its a dam health hazard eat there at your peril you have been warned

Didn't actually enter the restaurant. Saw the staff members smoking and spitting on the floor at the back of the building as we were walking towards the entrance. This put us well and truly off! Avoid!!!!

Poor restaurant. Service was slow. Staff failed to inform me that 8 chicken nuggets could have been purchased for less than 2/3 of the price that I paid for 6. Repeatedly tried to change my order to 'meal deals' even when I said I didn't want that, then I had to add to remind them about fries I'd tried to order. Not recommended.

The food cold and tastes odd, the staff loud and don't care attutude. Asked for warm fries and she just mixed my cold ones with warm ones and gave me a portion. I could go on.... I'll just email head office instead.

Called in for quick bite to eat on home from lake district. Staff were civil, orded food which took a good 15 mins to be cooked. Even though there was only one family before us.The food arrived which had only just been cooked but was cold. Chips were freezing.Very disappointed Not the first time this has happened
