Burger Drop in Newcastle upon Tyne

Placed an order that had a nearly £7 milkshake on it amongst other things. Never received the milkshake and was told I’ll be refunded it but never received the refund. Won’t be going back.

Birthday disappointment. Uber eats delivered the meals nearly an hour late, the delivery lad apparently didn't have our address. We phoned him several times and after spelling out our address he finally arrived. No apology and no offer of fresh food. I think if we didn't persistently call him, our order would have disappeared 😔 His name was Stefan. By then the food wasn't edible, dam chips and the burgers were cold. We phoned Heaton burger drop, several times, no answer. Call today, no answer. I called the Whitley bay. They were amazing. Offered us fresh food but they couldn't do this as the food was from another branch. The whole order and delivery was a disaster. The problem was we live in Monkseaton and have enjoyed burger drop before, picking up from the Town centre. This delivery was from Heaton. Cold food and a waste of money. In the Uber eats website, we never had an option of choosing the Whitley bay branch. Then to top off a crap birthday meal. Later, were refunded £3 from Uber eats, which you can only spend on Uber eats. Rubbish.

Update: offered a £10 voucher which is less then the value of the cost paid for the cheesecakes. Slow and poor customer Service I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent order. When I received my cheesecake from your establishment, it was frozen solid. I contacted the Burger Drop location and spoke with Ahmed, who suggested that I microwave it for 10 minutes to thaw it. While I appreciate his advice, this situation should not have occurred in the first place. In addition, I have noticed that for Uber Eats orders, the cheesecake often arrives frozen and without any thawing instructions. This is a new and unfortunate experience for me, especially since I have never encountered this issue with the Whitley Bay branch. I value the quality of your products and service, and I hope you can address this issue. Providing clear thawing instructions or ensuring that the cheesecake arrives at an optimal temperature would greatly improve the customer experience.

I received an offer pamphlet and came to know about this place, so I decided to give it a try. We ordered the Fire Chicken Drop and Halloumi Cheese Drop burgers, and both were impressive in terms of taste and quality. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were well-balanced, making it a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Nice meal, freshly cooked and served quickly. Staff pleasant and attentive. I’ll certainly come back.

Order on Uber Eats. First time order from her. Order the Bacon Drop burger, The Burger was amazing nice a fresh & hot. Also got the Cheese loaded fries was amazed at how much you got they were absolutely amazing. For my drink i order the white choc milkshake, even that was amazing. The food was amazing & so nice. Will be ordering again soon.

We love burger drop! Great consistency when ordering and eating in, food is usually delivered hot and the shakes travel well! I usually have a burger, side and drink. The donner loaded fries are a fave and the burgers are all fab! Ash is friendly and attentive when in store also!

Excellent dine-in experience. It was less crowded and the food was serviced quickly. Everything was delicious! The best part was they had multiple options for a gluten-free diet.

The burger is quite good—one of the best vegetarian options I’ve had in Newcastle. However, I have to deduct points for the long delivery time, as it arrived cold.

First time going to Burger Drop Heaton, & it won’t be the last😋we had the Cheese Drop & Grilled Onion Drop meals, which included a drink. The burgers lovely & juicy, chips were tasty & the whole meal seemed to be devoured in minutes. Silence for the first time all day haha. Plenty to choose from the menu, milkshakes used as dessert, again lovely. Very happy with price & staff were lovely. Customer service great & couldn’t have helped enough. Looking forward to our next visit ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had the Korean sticky wings, with some loaded fries. The wings were lovely and crispy and a huge platter of chips.

Fab burger and fries, not greasy and very tasty. Zanti cola not so nice but we'll definitely be back for another burger 😊 We had takeaway so can't comment on atmosphere

Are staff forced to work here? They don't smile, and seem like they're sock of their lives when trying to have conversation with them. A smile or a simple thanks seems too much hard work

We have been getting burger drop since it opened in Heaton road at first the burger was delicious and tasty but slowly slowly they have changed the burger bun which made the taste of the burger different. Today we decided to get a burger and the bread was very dry and thick it did not feel the same burger as it used to be. The owner should consider using the old burger bun( the one with sesame seeds)

Wento to Burger Drop in Heaton Road was served by an amazing young lady that allowed me to look to the menu on my own time without rush, made my order and waited for my food. Food was amazing ( Fire Chicken Burger ) was cooked to the perfection and very delicious. Loved it and will come back for sure

We went on Saturday,ate in , food was lovely especially for the price ,big portion,in fact was that big of a portion we had to take some of it home with us ,which staff gave us a box to put it in at no extra cost ,place was nipping clean ,staff were lovely, especially the young lass who served us ,would recommend burger drop Heaton road & we will definitely he back again .

Wasn’t impressed. Ordered salt and pepper “loaded” fries and chicken burger. £5.50 for “loaded” fries. Basically a portion of frozen fries with barely any peppers or onions. Chips weren’t flavoured with soy/garlic as expected. Overpriced for what they were - see photo. £10.90 for three small chicken strips in a bun. It was ok, chicken wasn’t overly juicy but not dry. Just seems overpriced for what you get. It’s a shame, as I like trying new places and giving them a try, but I will stick with Friez & Burgz given the quality of the food seems better, bigger portions and it is much cheaper.

Absolutely loved the brisket burger & onion burger. The cheese was perfectly oozed on. The brisket was so tender & falls apart in your mouth. The staff couldn’t be any nicer, lovely people. The restaurant seating area was tidy & has a lovely atmosphere.

Just had our 1st delievry from Burger Drop and my god it was unreal! Best burgers wev had by far from anywhere else. Grilled onion burger was insane!!! And the salt and chilli loaded fries were to die for! Defo be back!

Ordered on the website and was told 15 minutes and it would be ready, arrived 15 minutes later food wasnt ready and they didnt have one of the items that we ordered but hadnt contacted us to let us know so had to pick something else and wait for that to be made and no compensation offered, food was terrible and freezing cold after the wait I had.

Great wee place, came for my son’s 10th birthday! The staff were really helpful, complimentary ice creams and Oreo desert for the birthday boy! Would recommend this place, proper good quality burgers in a funky environment. Kids loved it! Prices reasonable too! All round winner! Well done burger drop Heaton!

Order 2 burgers one plain one with cheese, chips were already cold driving 2 minutes home, gets back to ask for a replacement meal due to not receiving my drink or garlic sauce. Gets back to the restaurant for Humpty Dumpty in the kitchen to just replace the one burger? Ayeeee good idea I’ll eat freezing cold food cheers. Asks for a replacement meal for them to give me the same cold chips I got 40 minutes prior, don’t get food from here it’s organised by 2 gimps
