We decided to try this place despite a poor ranking and reviews on TripAdvisor. The restaurant has been fitted out well, but unfortunately the food doesn’t match. The choice of beef burgers on the menu was limited to a classic burger, cheese burger or bacon burger. However they had run out of bacon and no chicken burgers were available - which limited this even more. The “no frills” approach is fine but you expect better execution; the brioche bun was cold and the burger was a bit dry. It could have actually been quite nice without these issues - unfortunately these are the two main components of a burger! The milkshake also wasn’t great; it felt like it was just ice cream in a glass with some ice. During cooking they also ran out of enough fries for a full portion for everyone so they were topped up with a couple of small halloumi bites each. It was good that they made an effort and didn’t just try and serve small portions - but it was a bit odd and we didn’t know until the food was served having already paid! There was also only 1 member of staff taking the orders at the till and then going into the kitchen to cook them. I think that they have their pricing right for what they are trying to achieve - it’s just a shame they are not really able to do so.

Ordered from Deliveroo, cost me £32, and they forgot my fries, forgot my double stack burger, gave me a stale baguette for my £7.50 hot dog and half filled my strawberry milkshake. Don’t waste your money or appetite with this place!

Food quality very poor… What are they managing when serving such pathetic food. Treat day for the kids, which resulted in a cardboard festival of such poor quality. Half filled containers of fries which looked days old and nuggets shrivelled and cold. Keep going and making the shareholders more greedy.

Thought we would try a Ramsay Street Burger seeing as we were in the area and hungry. Had not been before and went in with no expectations. Have used a number of Ramsay Restaurants previously, which have been hit and miss. Place appeared to be very clean and well maintained. Not sure how long it has been open for. Wasn't too busy at the time we arrived. Has been decorated in what I assume is the current trendy style with graffiti and industrial decor. A server offered us a choice of tables and came straight over with the menus. It didn't take us long to find something we liked and we ordered. Drinks were delivered promptly and the food followed soon after. I had the 'Idiot burger', which comes with fries. And this was really good. Very hot, very tasty and a good size. Chips were also great - well seasoned, hot and a good quantity. My wife had a vegetarian Butternut Bhaji burger which was quite good. It had lost some heat due to the mint sauce within the burger, which then spilt everywhere. This may have been better on the side in a pot? She didn't enjoy her chips as much but they were still good. Service all done by the same gent who was great, but we didn't catch his name. He was very efficient and friendly. Prices were not bad at all. All the burgers with fries are £18. They are bit smaller than others in the area for a similar price but were still a good size and the taste was amazing. Would happily go again.
