Not good, food all cold under cooked chips. I used to enjoy the food from here but has gone down hill i won't order again

Absolutely disgusting, only ordered nuggets and chips, drowned it in garlic yoghurt and way too much spice inedible. Charged 50p to add sauce. £6.20 I n total for a tray of inedible food. Stay well clear never buy from here again.

Missing items from the order, like it isn’t expensive enough. Rang and they said they’d sent it out right away. Sat here still waiting 45 minutes later with cold food, prices are extortionate costs same as a nandos

All I can say is they do a genuine tandoori chicken kebab and it is so tasty!

I have used burger bites for years but food has started to go down fast we got a kebab and chicken kebab mine was cold my wife chicken was chicken was burnt and looked like it was left over for last night shame I couldn't upload the photos

Been using burger bites for years now, placed my order over the phone then waited outside until it's ready, however this time they thought they would rip me of for food what should have been £14.30 they actually charged me £15.50? The chip butty I received was absolutely vile, the bread cake was drowned in butter it was awful, my chips were all greasy because of the butter they decided to sling all over the breadcake it was just awful the worse place I have eaten to date.

Overpriced. £3.00 for a delivery when you called up is an absolute joke, especially when you are the same postcode as the shop

No good anymore, they’ve obviously changed the source of produce because it tastes cheaper, kebab meat isn’t the same it doesn’t taste nice. And the cheese on my pizza was more chewy than an overdone steak. Bad food from what was a good takeaway

My son and his partner ordered this for us and what an absolute joke. The order was placed via their email and I have never seen such a disgrace. We ordered pizzas, chicken and garlic bread along with sauces and extras. We left clear instructions on the choices/extras part of each individual item (for example salad no tomato) however they were completely ignored. The chicken was solid and pizza crusts were paper thin and like cardboard. The salad was messed up and they hadn't followed our requests. Sauces were missing and items were sent wrong. When we called we were told that we needed to pay an extra 50p for a spoonful of tomato on the garlic bread, they would replace it but wanted the original garlic bread back. This is not only poor customer service but a health hazzard, what did they do with it lets hope it wasn't reheated and sent out on the next order. This is pure greed and lack of interest in customer care. I would definitely NOT recommend this place. The food is substandard and I for one will not forget the service they received.

Just got a kebab and chips with garlic bread OMG it’s the worse I’ve ever had kebab meat tasted like dog meat chips where scraps and garlic bread undercooked what a waste of £15 never use them again 😡😡😡😡😡

The chips was way to salty and bolognaise wasn’t nice not even warm, microwaved too just nasty!

Usually have no issues, but they have brought a new menu out, got the meatballs asked on the phone what you get with it and was told fries, meatballs etc, turned up and it was just 6 meatballs for £6.50?? Absolute rip off. Rest of the food was burnt to a crisp and cold, called regarding the meatballs and she said oh I meant fried onions said I could pay an extra £2 for some chips to be sent. Said no thank you the rest of the food is rubbish, £21 for burnt rubbish food, I think you have lost a usual customer. Unapologetic and just rude. All she said was ok and laughed. Disgusting customer service and food!

Wouldn’t bother ordering unless you like being disappointed asked for pot of garlic sauce with my order what I got was garlic sauce poured on cheesy chips which was for my friend who doesn’t even like garlic sauce so what a waste that was. Asked for cheese on top of chicken didn’t get any but got charged extra. This is only so annoying as I repeated this 3 times that I wanted the cheese on the chicken and got the girl to repeat the order to make sure it was clear she understood me however clearly she didn’t. Ordered a tomato garlic bread which had the tiniest bit of tomato on not to mention it was rock hard.

Have been going here for over 20 years the food was always amazing last 2 times been unedible got a kebab last time could not see the kebab for mayonnaise because underneath the chicken was burnt then tonight got chicken Kiev chicken burnt to a crisp could not eat it . Won't be coming back to this shop again

My dad loves this place and has been going for over 20 years. We used to love a burger and chips and mum a chicken lemon butterfly. My dad won't stop loving this place as he likes the fresh salad which I agree is fresh but the cooked food is poor. I went for a kebab this time and the same as always, the sauce is poured on top of the whole dish soaking everything and creating a sodden pitta bread. The food never arrives with separate sauce pots. Most takeaways offer seperate sauce pots now. The food dished up in polystyrene trays is usually served with a serviette under the food thus creating a greasy soaking hammock which makes it awkward to transport food onto a plate. The french fries used to be good (coated in chip spice) although now they're worse than ever with hardly any chip spice and still far too salty and reheated. Small portions of donner meat considering its "donner" meat and cripsy in parts also cold due to the sauce slapped on top. I used to order a four cheese pizza and won't lie I liked them until one day it arrived and the fourth cheese hadn't melted properly. The 4th cheese revealed to be cheese slices. I don't mind a cheese slice, but not on a pizza! Sorry dad, I admire your loyalty and appreciate tradition but this is grotty food now and the menu literally has not changed since the 90's.

Absolutely disgusted with food and the staff order came wrong they sent out another order that took for ever to come so asked for our money back was shouted at by girl on the phone and then the owner was told not to order from them again as we complained needless to say we won't be ordering again as the quality of the food has gone right down and speaking to customers in the way my partner was spoken to is just appalling

I've been coming here for years and it's my go to takeaway, because 99% of the time, the food is always cooked through and hot. BUT, I always pick up my orders up, which means it's always hot. The food is good, I haven't had a bad experience, there are times food is not the same as last time, like kebabs and calzones, but they're not bad - just not consistent. The chips are well seasoned, crispy and hot. The staff are nice, never moody etc.

Burger bites has always been my go to takeaway for years even growing up as a child it has always been our Friday night treat but after tonight I will never order from there again after at least 20 years of being a loyal customer. Spent a decent amount on a large order tonight firstly to be told they no longer offer a free garlic bread with large orders as it’s the weekend even though every week we have been given one, after the guy cooking agreed to add one to the order at no extra cost we all tucked into what was our favourite takeaway. Firstly the food was appalling compared to the usual standard, secondly we found a hair in the garlic bread while my partner rang to complain she was told there was nothing they could do as the garlic bread was free anyway (fair enough) seconds as she put the phone down a the kids found a hair in their pepperoni pizza 🤢 two hairs found in food in one order, safe to say after this the entire order went in the bin and money wasted. Girls with long her working in the kitchen area, fair enough they might not be involved in all food preparation but something definitely needs to be done in the kitchen to ensure hair long or short is not getting into food. I would like to clarify the hairs were not the same colour as any of our hairs and were not on top of the pizza/garlic bread but baked into them as if they had fallen during preparation so absolutely no chance the hair could be one of ours. Completely put us off our favourite takeaway. It’s a shame to say but can always tell when Gerard isn’t in because the staff clearly don’t care shout taste, quality or hygiene standards delivered to customers

Ordered for delivery came wrong, sent it back, second delivery came wrong, sent it back, third delivery came food was cold so binned it and for a refund, Gérard you really need to look at what tour sending out to customers......

Haven't been here in a while ordered for the first time in a year, the chips where salty and no many, mayo wasn't that nice and Calzone was a little bit dry only thing I enjoyed was the cold can of coke

Had food a Saturday night large chips and cheese delivery cost me £8.70 thought was steep but was nice then ordered next night and only £7.00 so what’s the difference?? Never known a takeaway that only does free garlic bread when spending money Monday to Thursday total rip off will never use them again

Please try their lamb doner! Had 3 in my last two visits to Hull...and will be back. Beautiful meat, fresh salad - delicious red cabbage - garlic mayo and a lot of chilli sauce. Cannot fault it.

what happened to burger bites? used to be great. my chips we're raw and wrap only had about 20 chips in if that. burger was disgusting, and they forgot the drinks, only got 2 stars cause the garlic bread was lovely.

If I could give zero stars I would. This place has made me, my family and some other people I know ill. I had an omelet (not recently, wouldnt ever eat one from there again) which gave me a bad stomach. My partners pizza gave him bad stomach cramps. My 8yr old child ate chicken nuggets and was sick for 12hrs straight, throwing up. My next door but ones also had bad stomachs after eating from there. This was not just a 'bad day' as these occured over different days.

Give me 2 garlic instead. Of chilli and bbq pizza was awful tasted cheap🤮

Placed an order today and was absolutely disgusting, kebab was cold and pita bread was soggy , chips where hard and crunchy with no potato inside , looked old and is they had been fried and refried, after been a customer for well over 20 years the last 6 months or so this place has gone right down and I have complained a number of times, time to find a new takeaway.

Absolutely terrible service forget something every order charge for large kebabs when asked for. yet only do 1 size stopped ordering but thought I’d give em another try tonight they failed miserably asked for no spice on chips came blathered also forgot sauces that was definitely the last time I’ll go there AKS a few shops up beats em hands down

Unfortunately seems to have lost its way, used to be my go to take away but last time part of the order was wrong one pizza was burnt and the garlic bread was only half covered.

Ordered on user eats. Got a gourmet burger and it's the worst one I have had! I have never seen something so pink on the inside and I understand its a gourmet burger but I expect it to be cooked through like the usual ones I have had from a variety of other restaurants to decrease risk of food poisoning. Didn't eat it, such a waste. The bread bun was soggy and brown underneath, the mushrooms was not advertised online as the description ( if I knew i would of said no mushrooms in comments) Usually a big fan of burger bites but this threw me off

cant order online in this day and age is a no go for me what takeaway does not offer online services poor.

Order here every night so about £80! Youd think we'd be looked after..... I waited a hour for my order two burgers 1 chips this is. Once it come it was in a plastic bag the chips was that soggy the bag they was in was open and ripped. It was wet you could tell it had been sat for some time. Took full order back for a member of staff to open my order and try a chip too tell me they are ok?.... Another member of staff then asked why it was bagged in this way. .I've taken my money and will be taken my custom else where from now on JOKE....

Waited over an hour to get my delivery of cold pizza hard cold chips I won’t be using burger Bites again....

Firstly wrong order was sent, then took another hour to come to find a hair baked into my stuff crust pizza. Don't recommend wont be ordering again.

Ordered a chicken bite meal of some sort, with a drink and a milkshake, got none of the drinks, when I rang up to complain they said they would send my drinks they never came so I payed £15 Inc delivery for popcorn chicken and chips... Deffo won't be going there again... So if you like soggy chips and bad manners this place is for you!!

We often go to burger bites (we live in Hessle) and drive there for there chilli burgers. Tonight wasn't so good im afraid, called to place my order, after ordering 2 x half pound chili burgers with garlic and salad the person on the end of the phone said "OK it will be 30 mins" I then said I'm not finished ordered, orered the rest of our food and then went to collect, got home to find 2 x quarter pound chili burgers no salad or garlic, hard chips and a pepperoni pizza that was not great and covered in grease. I called up and was told they wrote the order down wrong! I'm more annoyed as I had ordered the chilli burger and was looking forward to it, disappointed is an understatement, dont mess with a mans food 😡

Endike Lane- Service couldn't be worse and they always get our orders wrong when we don't even order much. Not even a smile or a hello, it's really unwelcoming.

I do love burger bites the food is nice past few times we have ordered tho the portions have been small and the burger we ordered was burnt and the bun it came in rock hard and burnt also.

Awful service through the phone although the delivery driver was spot on , I ordered Donner meat and cheesy chips however my donner meat came topped with cheese instead of my chips , my mum ordered a cheese burger and found plastic in her burger, may aswell of given me a tub of chip spice as all of our food was drowned in spice, my girlfriend ordered a chicken wrap with chips but received no chips when the food came , very disappointed!

Very disappointed with a large kebab.(£5.50) Was in a small tray and not even full. Had to make some chips at home afterwards as I was still hungry. Not the takeaway it used to be. Won't be going again.

Cold, dry and unappetising. Waited for an hour and twenty minutes. Could not get through on the telephone. Food arrived, cold, burnt and dry.Called to complain, manager unavailable, spoke to a woman called Helen, who asked me what I wanted and told me my meal didn't include salad etc which I knew it did. Very rude using language like "I'm telling you". Really disappointed. Used this takeaway for a number of years. Never again, save your money and order from a better takeaway with better customer care and warm food.

Got a delivery yesterday witch was not nice one bit the burger was over cooked and the bacon was raw, rang them yesterday they told me to put it in the bin witch I did so they said ring tomorrow for a full refound, rang them today they told me to get it out of the bin and bring them it in. And said I can't have a refound till it's out of the bin, they also said the bacon is already cooked when they buy it aswell as the burgers would not recmend to anyone not Evan a dog
