Burger and Lobster at Harvey Nichols in Kensington and Chelsea

This is no ordinary burger joint. After all it IS on the top floor of Harvey Nichols. I was expecting a bit more than your average and B&L certainly lived up to my expectations. It was a lovely experience with friendly, quick-serving staff as well as great nosh. I had a plant burger, which means it's reduced gluten- helpful for me - and delicious Eton Sundae for afters. But the thing that attracts you the most at this place is the great vibes and decor of the place! That's what it's all about for me!

We were seated after 30 mins at peak dinner time on a saturday! Food came after ordering in short time, tasted pretty well and was hot and fresh.

Went for my son's 18th birthday treat. Waiters are attentive and helpful. Everything looked spotless and the food was delicious. Told one of the waiters about son's birthday and after our main meal they came out with the cheesecake singing happy birthday (although we didn't ask for this it was added to our bill). We ordered an oyster each to start which were£1 each during happy hours(3-6). We ordered the combo for 2 which included half a lobster each, half a lobster roll each and half a burger(each half cooked to your requirements) with fries and salad and the most delicious lemon sauce ever!!! It's was all cooked to perfection but was a lot of food. I think if I went again I would probably only have the lobster roll and fries. Cocktails and certain drinks were also 2-£12 during our sitting and ours were very tasty. Before our visit I found a free fizz voucher on Facebook which was honoured without a question-bonus! Cost just under£120

While I appreciate you are given a set time to keep your table, the service was so fast we didn’t have time to enjoy our cocktails or order wine before the starter arrived, followed closely by the main course. It was all too rushed for a long awaited catch up with a friend. As it was the restaurant emptied very quickly and there was a plethora of table’s available. On saying that, the menu was good value for super food and the staff very pleasant. They just need to slow down and give people time to relax.

Came here for my daughters 18th birthday meal with all family, staff absolutely ruined the night ! First of all my daughter was wearing her new fur coat and the waiter walked past and spilt creamy garlic sauce all over it and never did anything about it ! Another thing all our food came out wrong when we tried to tell them they didn’t care when they’re was hair in my friends burger ! And to top the night of we asked for a cake to be brought out with a candle to sing happy birthday to my daughter and they completely ignored us and just brought a cake out no candle no singing ! This was all on the 1st of April 2023 at the Knightsbridge restaurant, we’ve now come today to the Bond Street location of burger and lobster for a family meal thought we’d give another location a try and we are now band from all Burger and lobster locations ! I am very very disgusted in this and I would like the manager/head of burger and lobster to contact us on 07990882686 to discuss this matter else I’m taking this further ! People should not be treated this way it is not right !

I’m very impressed with the lobster roll, it was very good and full of lobster. Very happy with that. If you are looking for a nice and tasty lobster rolls this is the right place for you. The price is fantastic and very convenient. Well done !

I have never been so insulted by waiting staff. My son and I reserved a table, and arrived on time. We were told on arrival that we were benne’s, but we’re not given a reason at an explanation. When we asked why they literally laughed in our faces. Would definitely not eat here again, yet all of the other restaurants have always been great. This branch definitely needs to look at their staff, and learn them some manners

A break in the department store to eat that isn't worth it. Famous sandwich doesn't taste as good as you'd expect and isn't worth the stop

Food very good. Lobster roll was terrific. Raw oysters too! A very nice lunch. Large portions. Good cocktails. A little pricy but worth it! A reservation is helpful. Got there early when they opened. You have to stand in line and in front of host or she will seat whoever is there first, regardless of reservation time. We had checked in a few minutes early and she seemed to "forget us" and proceed to seat everyone else in line first. Our only negative part. Our waiter was top notch and food like I said was great!

Would have given five, but having three children, their menu was VERY limited. Food was great. Experience was great, given its a department store. Service at the start was brilliant. Our first table was not to our liking, but the host was more than accommodating to find us another, which included a move. Our waiter was fine, but we did seem to get overlooked for perhaps others who were perceived to have deeper pockets. We didn’t hold back, but their loss. Would certainly recommend.

Service was good but the food was awful, 3 out of 4 of us had the lobster Berger combo. Never seen a smaller lobster. It was overcooked dry and tasteless. The meal was way overpriced and the quality was terrible.

Loved it! I am a big fan of lobster, we were a party of 5 having a late lunch. 3 of us ordered a lobster roll, and its to die for, plump delicious lobster meat in the roll, came with a buttery sauce that was great and instead of fries we ordered greens, which came in a very small cup so definitely not a place to order a salad haha. One of us had a whole lobster and loved it. Truffle fries for the table was definitely worth it. Service was excellent. Prices were up there but not obscene. I would visit again if I happened to be near one of their locations in London.

The music was very loud which isn't pleasant and it was frisky in the restaurant, I had to put my sweat on. When I asked for water the waitress only gave me a glass of water, so I ended up taking my bottle from my bag. My enjoyment of their lobster cocktail spoilt by an unsuitable tall stem Martini styled container/dish making eating it ridiculously challenging. I found cutting the prawns and eating the salad extremely difficult without spilling the food all over the table and my shirt.

This restaurant is small but well situated in Harvey Nics. We had to wait 20 mins for a table so we went to Bubbleology for a drink which was lovely. The restaurant has it's own bar which is great. First time going to B&L in Knightsbridge. Loved the beef burger. I got the medium cooked beef patty and it was really juicy and quite big. There is also a no meat burger option available. Portion was just nice.

He estado en Burger and Lobster antes y me decepcionó anteriormente, pero, sinceramente, esta vez he cambiado completamente de opinión. La langosta estaba asada a la perfección, en nuestro combo teníamos 2 mitades del rollo de langosta, 2 mitades de la hamburguesa, papas fritas y una pequeña ensalada. We had a wonderful dinner at Burger & Lobster in Knightsbridge, London last week. We had eaten at the same restaurant in Leicester last November and was not as impressed as we were with this location (see below). We order the 1 1/2 lbs grilled lobster, Beast Burger, side salad, fries and two glasses of the Puglia Masseria Borgo wine. We shared everything and the food was superb as was the wine. One of the best meals on our 3 week trip: a culinary delight.Since the coronavirus was already causing concern for us to eat out, we were very pleased that the staff was seating people 2+ meters from each other. The Leicester restaurant was much smaller and we had to squeeze around people to get to our table. We are looking forward to dining here on a future trip to London.

Our family trip went to London this year, so i booked us in to this place since i had read alot of good reviews. We lived nearby so that was a pluss.Staff was welcomeing and really sweet.Since We all have diff preferences i tought this place would be a good start.I was not wrong. I had a classic hummer burger with fries and the rest meat burger. The burgers was as i was told truly good. Mine hummer was amazingly good.In FACT this was so good that We came back day after. Then i tried the vegan burger and it was tasty! Recommend this one for the people who dont eat meat.As i told above, yet again the others loved the meat burger.We came back for the good food and the sweet Staff. The girl who served us on the first night was good at her job and We came back also a bit because of her. She was a caretaker and there is nothing else that makes me happy when my experience at the restaurants we eat at are so good because of the people who work there. So i deff recomend it.

Okay, I do love this concept and it was great to see it open at HN. As we were being seated, I asked for a booth. The waitress refused this request, stating all booths were for five people only. As the place go busier, the very same booths were used for three and four people at a time. Our food order was substantial - the table was too small - poor experience all round. (food was amazing - as always!)To cap it off, a 12.5% discretionary service always annoys me. Either increase your staff wages (taxes payable!) or increase your prices (VAT payable!). Simply stop this shoddy practice. We expected to be served in a restaurant, that’s why we turned up! We don’t expect to be charged separately for it (discretionary or not).
