Wow been tonight 8.10.24 very nice place very friendly staff very good food the service exceptional. The staff even brought a cake to the table for me and my wife. Celebrating wedding anniversary. This was a shock doing something so nice definitely be going back

I’m afraid it was bland, tasteless and very watery. I know it was korma but this was very disappointing seeing as for nearly £20 I got rice and chicken in pale liquid

I have just come back from the Sunday buffet. There were 9 of us in total which included 3 children. The service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they checked on you regularly. The food was good with plenty of choice and it was all hot and flavourful. Atmosphere was nice, felt authentic and laid back. We will definitely be back

Food was on time, well prepared and hot.

food was half an hour late, missing one of the curries.. called the restaurant, they apologised and said it got let behind.. would I like it sent. well yes I'd like to eat the food I've paid for. finally got the rest of my order at 10pm.. 2 hours and 10 minutes after ordering. food was ok but expensive for what it is and cold by the time we ate it. was supposed to be a movie night for my daughters.

Tried the Sunday buffet in the evening. Very good choice and the food was great. Freshly prepared nan bread was lovely. Always friendly and great service

This is the best takeaway in Nottingham my family and I have ordered 3x over the past two weeks. The food is delicious and the service wow! Delivery driver is always so kind. Never have been disappointed with buraans.

Dine at Buraans frequently with my family for the Sunday Buffet & it is amazing! Atleast 3 different curry options, rice, sides and the most unreal naan bread. Thank you kindly for making some chilli prawns today on request, much appreciated! Highly recommend this place, lovely ambience, attentive staff and delicious food.

It was our first visit here and certainly won't be the last !!. The service was great, our young waitress was lovely and the food amazing. The best curry I have had for a long time. Cannot rate highly enough. Will be back soon.

The food was really excellent. We are vegetarian so it was amazing to have Tandoori Tofu. All the dishes we ordered were very good. We had never had Aloo Beetroot chat it was a new taste and very good. We will definitely be ordering from here again. The delivery was just at the time we ordered.

Ordered takeaway for the first time from here. Food arrived on time and was tasty and spicy. Catered for both vegan and meat eater - neither was disappointed. Definitely will be ordering from here again!

Best Indian take away food I’ve had for a long time

Excellent take away. Very generous portions. Probably should have shared i, but it was too good to share! Lamb Rogan Josh was tasty and very tender as was the chicken korma. Enjoyed the 3 dips with the popadoms.

I recently dined at Burranz and was thoroughly impressed. The service was exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff. The ambiance was stunning, combining traditional Indian decor with modern touches, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food was outstanding. The Lollipop and Mixed Grill Platter were highlights, bursting with flavor. The Biryani and Fried Rice were perfectly cooked and delicious. To top it off, the Rasmalai was a divine dessert. Overall, Burranz offers amazing service, a beautiful setting, and unforgettable food. I can't wait to visit again soon!

Just had an amazing evening at bureaus. Haven’t been here for 18 months due to bad food and service. It is now under new management and what a great crew they are. Food was exceptional as was the atmosphere. Front of house are so friendly and happy to help. Behind the scenes is just as good with tasteful meals coming out. The buffet also looks really appetising. Will be rushing back for sure 5*

Good quality food however portion sizes are on the small size for the price. We were also missing rice with our meal. The mixed grill is very over priced for what it is. Decent quality but probably won’t order again.

I waste my money because of this order. This not friedrice just yellow egg rice. Dear chef if you don't know how to make friedrice please study after make.

Had high hopes for this takeaway as the restaurant has lovely food. Sadly the food was not very good at all. The Korma was incredibly and unnecessarily sweet and practically inedible. Our other two curries had about 2cm of oil on the top and the chicken was tough. Not very tasty either. The mushroom rice would have actually been good but it was spoiled by being drastically over salted. The naan bread was probably the worst I’ve had from a takeaway, being dried out, small and tasteless.

This is one of the best Indian food i have had in UK. Pradeep is very friendly, he never forgets to ask how was the food and if anything is wrong he always try to correct it personally. I really enjoy being there.

Extremely respectful, friendly, polite service, very humane and hospitable. Decor is immensely beautiful and handmade by the owners, lovingly designed and crafted by them. Genuinely the most beautiful venue I've encountered so far, but some strong competition out there too of course! We felt completely relaxed and at bliss there. The staff were lovely and did a perfect job. The food was absolutely exceptional, divine flavours, just the right amount of spice, completely fresh, very high quality, irresistible etc. Genuinely the best Indian food we've ever had, there are some truly amazing restaurants in Nottingham including for Indian food but Buurans is in a league of it's own. The food is made with genuine love, passion, deep knowledge and thus culutural history, its authetic and very layered in flavours. I really appreciated getting 3 types of chicken tikka as a starter option, the chicken chettinand curry was very much a pure south indian delight in the best ways possible, very exciting, refreshing and nice and spicy but not too much for us either. Naan breads were beautifully fluffy and tasty, the keema mattar was the best I've had in a long time, if not overall even and all the food on their menu was so reasonably valued, excellent prices and quantities, you really get your money's worth in both quality and quantity. There is a wonderful humility to this place mixed with genuine passion, talent, sincerity, heart and such, Buurans is a complete hidden gem and deserves to prosper for many, many years at least ideally. Too many restaurants and food businesses in general come and go these days and a lot of older restaurants are losing what what made them great and shutting down too sadly. But newer ventures and experiences like Buurans give hope and absolutely, exciting, enticing new experiences too and I implore to give this place a try and help support it. Thank you to everyone at Buurans for such a wonderful experience and making a terrible day so much better. Also I forgot to mention the fish amritsari was the best we've ever had in many years now, its so difficult to find places that actually do it well, to do it right and thus justice too and Buurans got it perfect. Really appreciated that too.

(normal evening menu not buffet) Food was really good. The veg sizzler had a nice selection and great flavour. Tadka Dal was really very nice, just the right amount of spice and all the right flavours. All the food was good. Non alcoholic cocktails were very nice. I'll certainly be going back there for more.

Chicken was really tough, although curry had a lot of flavour. Another curry had a lot of oil floating on top. Bread was mushy. Onion salad for the popadoms was a bit weird.

Absolutely in love with this restaurant. I visited twice with my family and friends, the food was absolutely amazing. They specially gave us South Indian style food curated with different spice levels and Chicken 65 is still my favorite. The service was fantastic and they were friendly. I'll come back again :)

1st visit and it was lovely. I had the Methi Ghosht and it was fantastic. The garlic naan was the lightest I have ever tasted. My wife enjoyed the old Delhi buttered chicken. The service was warm and friendly. Prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant. Let’s support good local businesses like this.

Visited Nottingham to spend the day with our friends who introduced us to this little Gem. We were blown away with the hospitality, welcoming atmosphere and genuinely delicious food! The buffet selection is just perfect with a good selection of fresh food. We Also had the butter chicken which was creamy and packed full of flavour! Shout out to Pardeep who went above and beyond. Will definitely be visiting again!

Buraans is always delivered hot, by a lovely driver. The portion sizes are quite big - it's great value for money. The food is consistently good. Very flavourful. There's a nice amount of heat to the dishes which isn't too much for me. It adds to the flavour without overpowering it. I very much appreciate Buraans highlighting their vegan options as such. With other restaurants it can be hard to discern which vegetarian options are "accidentally vegan". Buraans have a great range.

first time ordering and it was lovely arrived hot the meat was tender and loads in each portion...my only criticism is a little salty for me but next time I order will mention not to add any extra salt ...

The owner had told us they had taken it over 10 months ago and what a job they have done to turn it around. The food was stunning and the service was amazing. Also, it was one of our groups birthday and they made an extra effort to make her feel special and the rest of us included. I will recommend Buraans to anyone and will definitely be returning!

My family and I visited this buffet restaurant on 25/02/24. I phoned ahead to ask for information on what was offered and what was expected, as we had never been to an indian buffet before. Once we arrived, no information was given to how the buffet operates. we was just seated. The staff seemed friendly, but did not care much as we was not ordering off the main menu. The buffet is placed in the back of the restaurant and looks extremely sad and uninviting. I had to ask for more than one item to be restocked and felt like I was being an inconvenience. about 20 minutes in I decided to ask if bread was available and was told we had to order it. Almost No sweet options was available only ahandful of brownie cubes. When I asked if we could have more we was told they had sold out. No alternative menu was offered. The food was really nice, it is such a shame the rest of the experience did not match.

Best Indian I've ever had. They not tight with portions and very generous with meat given. Every dish had there own taste. I was full and happy after meal really enjoyed. My partner even got a free birthday cake. Yummy all of of it from start to fresh.Staff so so friendly aswell. You got hot wipes to clean yourself after meal so freshening even my fella ask if they did back rubs as atmosphere so relaxing. Thank you 😊

Got seated quickly and drinks orders where taken and they arrived shortly after. Food orders taken Starters arrived promptly nice and hot enjoyed them very much. Plates for the mains arrived red hot and then the wait started...... The main plates where cold by the time the food arrived and so was the food also. 10% discount given a new curry cooked that arrived properly hot along with a replaced naan bread. Disappointed as the last meal was lovely but on date night it's been a poor meal and a disappointment especially on a very quiet night

I have ordered from here twice now and both times have been exceptional (exceptional would be an understatement) I only enjoy a mild coconut korma as I'm not a spice fan. but the consistency of this curry along with the strong sweet, coconut taste is totally delicious. I've given the vegetable samosas my own name... 'pockets of joy' which is what they can only be described as. perfect! the onion bahjis to me, have a nice kick to them, not over powering at all, again very tasty. Recommend HIGHLY.

The best rice meal and the biriyani was amazing

So ordered our tea at 18.46 came at 20.30. Was not worth the wait at all. Lamb roman josh was mainly kema not big chunks of lamb. The tikkia was very runny and a pink but taste like korma. And had 6 bits of chicken. Samosas was very over cooked. The naan bread was very nice tho :) Poppadoms soggy and not a crunch in sight! 4th time.ordering 2nd time issues so will not be back

Nice food,arrived on time ,good sized portions,chicken in the biryani a touch dry but that's being picky I've had a lot worse, biryani did not come with a small veg curry as I've always got from other places so that was a bit disappointing that said would definitely order from here again but maybe no the biryani, chicken korma was spot on.
