Buono Wood Fired Pizza in Barnet

My pizza was stone cold. I mentioned it to the driver who just shrugged when I asked him had he been driving around a lot with it. I spend nearly £20 and it’s stone cold

Extraordinary. After visiting Persian kitchens across the country, this one left me speechless. The taste is out of this world and the portion was massive. This is something that you never find around Finchley area. A hidden gem, a talented chef, will provide something stunning.

Lovely persian food, everything is fresh and cooked perfectly. The pizzas are also great. 100% recommend go to place for persian food and Italian pizzas.

We came to Bueno on Saturday evening for a meal out for 18 people. We had a selection of starters, pizza, Persian dishes and puddings. Every dish was delicious, very generous portions. Service was excellent. Would definitely come back for eat in or takeaway.

Fantastic night here with 18 players from Barnet Nightingales U14s. Not an easy gig for the owners, but they were brilliant. Hospitable and attentive from the moment we arrived. Starters out quickly. Pizzas on the money. And amazing tiramisu! Thanks for everything. The girls loved it. 🙏

We often get takeaway pizza and it’s always delicious, any time I eat pizza from somewhere else, I think - it’s not Buono. Highly recommend the parmigiana pizza!

Not as good as it used to be, and overly expensive for what you get these days, sadly. Bring back the bigger "yard" pizzas, that was your unique selling point; now you're just average, not special at all. Oh, and do tell your delivery driver that they lost out on a fiver tip for making me come to them rather than bothering to come to my front door. 🙄 I really don't think we'll be bothering again.

This place turned out to be a little gem. Walked in with little expectations as it looked quiet. We ordered a pizza and persian dish. Both were lovely, fresh and hot and the service was excellent.

It is a nice pizza, but it could be better. I do not recommend garlic bread; it is not bad, but you can pass. Service is so nice and faster. And place is great.

Delicious pizza , 2nd time ordering from them still very tasty and arrived nice and hot.

Ordered for a kids party, needless to say I was praying for the kids to have only one slice each as it was that delicious

Got delivery. The pizzas aren't that good, the base is heavy (not thin and light like it should be). The toppings were okay but didn't taste of much, it needed a lot of pepper adding. I also got the parmigiana which was small and very salty, not good either. The free tiramisu looked stale and dry - not sure I'm even going to try that. I wouldn't order from here again and can't really understand the high reviews - next time I will just buy from the supermarket as there doesn't seem to be any good authentic pizzas in this area.

Great service and atmosphere, food is amazing. I tried a new pizza !!!! And it taste good. It would be great for people who like beef on their pizza: i had a margarita with "koobideh" (persian mince kabab) nice and juicy meat. This is like an iranian married a italian:) Highly recomended

BUONO is GREAT!!! They have tasty Pizzas and delicious Grills, there (Kobideh and Joje) are fantastic, I decided to get a combination of Pizza and kobideh which was heavenly ;@

My favourite pizza restaurant and take away by far. Also, the Persian dishes are so good I actually struggle to choose. Highly recommend.

Amazing atmosphere in this little but very pleasant pizzeria restaurant, genuinely italian pizza and starters, food quality was absolutely amazing one of the best pizzas in london. This restaurant should be filled and packed with people with the quality of food and the friendliness of the staff make this place a really pleasant eat out experience. Five stars all the way

Margarita with extra green chilli was excellent, I don’t think you can get a better quality home delivered pizza in the area. Delivery timing needs improvement.

Food was 20 minutes early and the driver was friendly. The food was hot, delicious and amazing value. But please send whomever cuts the pizza for psychiatric evaluation at an asylum. Lives may be saved.

Wonderful start Parmigian, (baked aubergine with cheese topping) which we shared, and 2 quadro stagioni pizzas, so delicious I ate the crusts. Lovely generous glasses of house red wine and Peroni beers. Walking distance home under a clear star filled sky. Sunday nights out don't get better than this

Don't make any plans. Over an hour late. Lukewarm pizza. First time this has happened with Buono, otherwise pretty good. Complimentary Tiramisu for being late.

Freshly made pizza which arrived piping hot. Restaurant had to substitute our deserts but that was fine. The delivery guy was super polite.

Excellent pizzas. Tried a few other pizza places in the area, but Buono seems the best. The pizzas don't feel saturated with salt and oil like some I've tried recently. Highly recommended.

Ordered primary from their Persian food menu and I have to admit I was not disappointed. All the portions are freshly made and the taste is excellent. The owner seems very friendly and professional. I’ve become a regular customer now as I live nearby. Foods I’ve tried were Baghali Polo with Gardan (lamb neck), Chicken with Rice, Koobide with Rice and a 12” picante pizza. Highly recommend it 🙌🏼

Ordered from their Persian menu earlier in the week. It was so good we ordered again 2 days later 😂. Absolutely superb and very reasonably priced . Keen to eat in next time.

The best pizza around,quite expensive but worth it

Did not receive my order , estimated time was 21 20- 21 40 , still I can see order is delayed . I called restaurant twice they said driver delivered for wrong address later on they said was delivered at 9 pm but still it's says is delayed they told me to contact just eat to get my money back

I order two pizzas and 1.5l coca cola they bring me. 1.25. When I call them they say last year they charged menu. But until now they still got 1.5l and charging same price. Not happy with that

Really pleased with their thin crust pizza cooked in the wood-fired oven. The dough was fresh, crispy, well-cooked and evenly topped up with fresh ingredients. In addition, the pizza was reasonably priced which is great.

I didnt get my order it was given to another place after calling and inquiring they assured me it would be, the driver failed to look at instrutions and didnt call me and asked the other place if they ordered a pizza and having said yes he handed it over,then having called again they told me they had delivered it and for me to check my own cctv

40 mins late on delivery and no call from restaurant to explain why. When I called all I was offered was a sorry but no explanation

Not bad. Good ingredients but undercooked pizza, floppy dough, bit pale looking, needs to be crispier, more charred. After I cooked them again for 5-7 minutes under a roaring grill they were there, but i shouldn't have to do that. I won't go back even for the discounted £10 a pizza could do better easily myself.

Pizza was alright, not bad but not good enough to bother ordering here again. No crispiness to any of the toppings, and the sauce was too thin.

Very late so food was cold and chewy.

Not great. My husband was happy with his pizza... But... No basil with my requested toppings, cheese was undercooked and forgot our side of chicken wings although delivery driver very kindly went back and got them as we only live across the road from the restaurant. I won't be ordering again sadly.

Owner is a very short tempered person and misbehaved with my wife when she went to pick up an order and asked couple of questions to ensure she is picking the right pizza we ordered. Wish we could give 0 star to such a business. Their pizza may be awesome (which we don’t know as it was our first order) but their attitude is pathetic.

Fresh, hot, delicious pizzas. Authentic Italian base and mozzarella not the usual piles of rubbery cheese from other chains. Friendly guys work there and delivery.
