Tofu and chips basket is nice :) The tofu could have some flavour tho but isn't very expensive so

The food is extremely disappointing, tasted like it's just been blasted in the microwave, the staff are extremely friendly but the management seem not too care about anything, I really feel like this place has been going down hill recently.

The best wings i have had in years. Wife and 2 teenage kids had an amazing time. Very cool surroundings. The viper naga sauce was not to be messed with. Delicious and great value.

If you got rid of the aggressive bouncer it would be much better.

Food was really good, simple chicken wings and fries, with choice of dips little on the spicy side but very good, good selection of cocktails, little loud but good music and great service

I was waiting outside for my friends who were late decided to wait inside but i got pulled out by an over zealous bouncer as apparently waiting outside makes me dodgy. My friends arrived but we left and went elsewhere.

Awful place, doorstaff are truly dreadful.

The cocktails on offer were amazing and they have such a large range. The cocktails can seem small with the cups they arrive in but happy hour makes them seem more affordable. The food is amazing. The staff are very friendly. The vibe inside is lovely but is like a maze. There is so many different rooms with seating options. It’s bigger than it looks but can be hard to navigate.

I have to confess my experience at Bunk was a big awe. It was my first visit and sure not going to be my last, as I had gotten the referral from a friend. The ambience was relaxing, the music was boppy, the service by the attendants were top-notch and satisfactory and the meal!!!! Gosh!! The meal was savory; I ordered some wings in garlic, ginger and chilli sauce and it left my taste bud craving for more. The cocktail- sex on the beach was a delight, and the double-decker burger was filling too. Overall, Bunk is the place to go if you want a cozy spot, with good music, excellent customer service and foods that’ll leave you longing for more. Try Bunk today, and experience the feeling. 🙂

After spending £20 on two cocktails, my partner and I were made to feel unwelcome as we were accused of smoking weed within the premises. Eventhough I showed the employee our cigarettes (which we were smoking in the designated smoking area) he remained argumentative and quite rude. There were two other people there who were not questioned or accused like us. The employees didn't for a second think that perhaps the smell was coming from other people or the multiple different bars/pubs surrounding us. It was a nice place that we have always wanted to visit but after encountering such high prices for average cocktails and rude staff, we will not be visiting again. This is not a way to treat paying customers.

Scammed my brother and mates Ordered food which took a while and when asked about where the food was asked for ID and kicked them out (as a few bought alcoholic drinks) fair enough they took the drinks off them but then refused to refund or provide the food and kicked them out. Manager needs to sort herself out.

I usually love going to bunk but I had a really horrible experience on Friday. I was made a drink by the bartender and he was friendly and polite however my drink didn’t taste right it was really watery and my friend tried it also and she agreed. I have also had this drink before and it didn’t taste like the one I was given. I really didn’t want to embarrass the employee so I told a different employee about how it didn’t taste right she was pretty argumentative and told me they wouldn’t make a new drink ‘because it wasn’t to my taste’. She was very rude and told me it had been made correctly but did eventually offer to remake the drink and had clearly been taking badly about me to the guy that had made my drink when I approached the bar offered no apologies or even checked to see if the remade drink had been better (which it was). I felt the situation has been handled really poorly I had been very polite and even said I didn’t want to complain. We had originally planned to stay for a few drink but after this situation finished out drinks and left.

Lovely bar with great aesthetic and lighting, nothing to fault except the temperature. Was very cold when I visited as they had the air-con on very strongly, which is fine once you get some drinks down you but it does take a while to adjust. Good service though with brilliant staff and an arrange of drinks and cocktails.

Fantastic choice of cocktails reasonably priced too. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Food & drinks are great for the price, 2 stars down for the completely miserable service, I’ve not seen a server crack a smile all night and just feel unwelcome. Shame really as the place seems awesome, just looks like the culture is to hate your job.

Normally a okay place but Saturday went in with a group of lads at table 8 order on pen and paper first round no problem. Second round not enough staff on the floor and the staff which was left had shocking customer service. Firstly Ray ( apologies for spelling ) unreal waitress highly rate her as for her Manager Emma ( I believe) her customer service was awful and shouldn’t work in a bar. Soo secondly after the dreadful service I ordered on the app to get served and surprise even that wasn’t working. Taken £30.40 out of my account and no drinks. Spoke to the lovely Ray again tried to sort but couldn’t so asked for the manager and what a horrible impression she gave shocking customer service, basically fobbed me off and told to call Monday which is ridiculous. I will be paying them a visit to regain my money back and hope the service improves.

Ordered 2 cocktails, on arrival the cocktails were all leaked in the bag that they had came in. The sealed containers need upgrading shocking quality for delivery cups.

Usually a good place to go but very disappointed after our visit last night. After having problems with the ordering app and no staff around to offer assistance, we got told the bar was now closed. Our friends had successfully managed to place an order and when we finally managed to explain the situation they agreed to take our order by pen and paper. The 2 cocktails and one beer arrived after about 10 minutes and 5 minutes after that, we were being ordered to neck our drinks and leave. Despite the fact that they clearly had cleaning up etc to do and being the only customers left and tucked away in the corner, we were not in the way or causing any delay to their work. The barmaid was rude and sarcastic and clearly has a lot to learn regarding promoting responsible drinking. Asking guests to neck alcoholic drinks is not responsible. Luckily there are other great cocktail bars in Derby. I hope the lady we received the awful customer service from, gets some better training before you lose any more customers.

Chips where like cardboard, not cooked. Shocked at how expensive this place was for what you actually got. KFC is better value for money.

It's bunk that's all you can say! The amount of bunks in nottingham finally coming to derby is AMAZING! Some of the prices can be abit steep on some items but theyre worth it!

I've had nothing but great service from Bunk. Been in a few times and also had their take-away delivery. Without doubt, the best delivery service which was delivered hot, very hot! I eat loads of $*** from everywhere but Bunk has, without a shadow of doubt, taken number 1 spot of my go-to place for take-away. Well done Bunk, you're serving the local community proud with your quality chicken.

Asoon as My table walked in a girl with black and green hair was shouting rules at us which was quite ironic as she had her mask pulled down past her chin very unprofessional not to mention her extremely awful body odour, she was extremely rude and you could tell she didn’t want to be there ( some training on customer service wouldn’t go a miss). Unfortunately our terrible experience didn’t stop there, after going through our meal two out of six from our group didn’t receive sides that we paid for and what I can only describe as the worse manager possible with absolutely zero ability to work in the hospitality industry her behaviour was very unstable and doesn’t surprise me that she is unable to manage a team, (picture she had about 7 pens shoved through her hair) The only fresh breathe of air we had that evening was a extremely polite girl wasn’t our original server but we might of had a better experience if she was, she had black hair neatly in a bun and gold earrings, she made excellent drink recommendations catered to our individual alcohol preference, and even checked back on us asked how our evening was we didn’t have the heart to tell her it wasn’t the best. On that note I won’t be returning however I would advise you look into the Derby branch as it’s not what it used to be anymore sadly.

Came here with a couple of friends this week and had such a lush time, the music was a vibe and the female that served us (long dark hair and glasses) was absolutely lovely, you could tell she and a ginger female were enjoying their job; singing to the music and making everyone smile. Definitely recommend this place is you want an insta worthy venue with an atmosphere that matches!!

After waiting 40 minutes for out food and already having rude service from the manager we questioned where our food was. In response the manage blamed us and stated her waiter was adimant she did not take our order when of course she did but forgot! No apology all we recieved was a rude response from the manager who was shaking and throwing the till receipt round in anger. A simple apology for forgetting our order would have been enough however she made out as though it was our fault. Such a shame as it is a lovely bar however will definitely not return and will not recommend

I’ve heard such good things about this place, however it is absolutely ruined by the staff. My table of 6 were swore at by the rude host which I do not expect in a chain like this. She had long brown hair and seemed quite high up which is very disappointing. Will not be returning.

My daughter and a group of friends planned to visit tonight, after being told there was no table for them they were asked to wait.. after waiting an hour.. and lots of people leaving and others being allowed in ( even groups of similar size ) they were told not to bother waiting any longer and they may as well goI’m thinking the reason for this is the girls were only 15 years of age and wouldn’t of been buying alcohol, so their bill wouldn’t be as high as others who were being let in. Such a shame as your websites states come along and choose a table - obviously this is not the case

We love coming to Bunk because the food is always so good and love the chilled atmosphere. Given the current covid situation we were happy when we arrived that staff had masks/gloves and there was contact tracing, explanations of how/when to use the bathroom, different entry/exit points, people spaced 2m+ apart and only groups of 3 or less sat around. But all of the social distancing measures were totally disregarded when a group of 15 men in their 30s/40s were allowed in who were incredibly drunk, screaming football chants for about 30 minutes and putting their hands all over the female waitress. Why they were allowed into the restaurant in the first place when they said to the waitress that they were all from different households and hadn't seen each other in a while makes 0 sense and makes a joke of the social distancing measures they have in place to keep their staff and the other diners safe. They were asked to be quiet, but they then started shouting about the manager being a c**t and they still were not asked to leave. Another diner even left half way through his meal, explaining to the staff that he thought it was totally ridiculous that they were allowed to be in there and behave like that and I don't blame him at all. This group completely ruined our first night out in months and they should never have been allowed into Bunk in the first place for both social distancing reasons and the fact they were so drunk. I was really disappointed that my evening ended this way and I won't be coming back to Bunk for a while as I now know that they are not following the right measures to keep the diners and their staff safe.

Good food as always but really poorly managed for Covid. Too many people are being let in and there don't appear to be many rules once inside. Attracts a very young crowd too who seem to be trying to get around what rules there are (coming in in smaller groups then pushing tables together once inside, standing up a lot and right next to other customers). Feel sorry for the staff trying to manage it. We ate our food, drank our drinks as fast as we could and left. Won't be back anytime soon unless we can be reassured they've made changes.

I've been here 6 times now and and I've loved it everytime. They do a wide range of cocktails, and do a respectable range of food considering they are marketing themselves as wings and cocktails. This is ranging from chips and cheese to chicken nuggets and wings. Finally if you order before 10pm the wings are half price.

I absolutely love BUNK. The atmosphere is incredible. Very cozy and relaxing. The food is tasty, good variety of sauces, and great cocktails. I also love their sides. Always order sweet potato fries and onion rings. I recommend this place always. I like to go during the week or a Sunday when it is less crowded.

I only ever seem to go here towards the end of a big night, but I've always enjoyed it. Plenty of space. Reasonable selection of drinks. Very young crowd. The snack chicken selection is fantastic. My friend always goes for the hottest sauce. He always ends up suffering. Still does it every time we go. Not sure why. Anyway, well worth a visit for a drink and refuel.

Great cocktails, staff need to smile though but they were friendly.

A group of 6 of us came here after a Christmas meal elsewhere in town. None of us had been before so we were all pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere inside considering it was a Sunday evening - it was busy but calm, with live music upstairs. The whole place was clean and well decorated.We got there right at the end of the window for the cocktail offer, but the bar staff very kindly managed to get us a round in for the cheaper price. We all had one more drink each - mine was only lemonade because the wine selection was pretty poor.However, when I went back to the bar to see what other options there were, the server said that she had been told not to serve us anymore drinks. This was due to a policy that allowed them to refuse an order if they believe somebody has had too much to drink. I was confused at this because we’d only had 2 rounds, both uneventful apart from a drink spill (I asked if this was the reason and was told that it was not), and we had kept to ourselves in a booth, appreciating the music. She was unable to give me an explanation for what we had done wrong. When I mentioned that I had been drinking soft drinks for the previous half hour, she backtracked and offered to serve me, but continued to refuse any of the others. I declined the offer and we left.I think the policy is a good idea, and if we had been disruptive or visibly drunk then I could understand being refused service. But with none of us causing any trouble while we were there and the inability of the staff to explain the reason for the decision, it just felt incredibly disappointing and judgemental. We had all expressed how much we liked the place and that we’d be very likely to come back, but I don’t think any of us would even consider it now.

This was just not a place I belong. Music was too loud, food was awful, staff were inattentive, you know what I hate? No back on chairs, its a weird thing to point out but unless I'm in Asia I expect chairs with back on them, bunk chairs are so wildly uncomfortable.

Bunk is a great place for drinks and food. Atmosphere is perfect with a live DJ. However, yesterday I had the smallest wings ever. I order 10 chicken wings and I got probably a portion of 2 or 3. All of them were small and dry. I am not sure if I ordered a kids portion but it was disappointing. After this experience I had to order another portion of chicken nuggets.

Ordered the boneless chicken wings and got what was cheap tasteless battered chicken fingers which looked like the ones you get from Iceland, was not happy especially with the price they ask for , would think twice about going again, but the atmosphere in the place was ok

A place that hides away in derby. But once you go there, you'll want to keep going. Atmosphere is amazing which accompanies the music played. Food and drink are superb too. Highly recommend going for an amazing night out

If you want a good place to just hang out and chill in a city where everything else basically closes at 5 PM. Bunk is one of the few places to go to. Good food, friendly staff, aesthetic vibes. Nice selection of cocktails and drinks, they have 2 bars so it's not hard ordering in the place.

Ordered wings from Bunk delivered through deliveroo, they were average at best. Not at all crispy, not great flavour in the sauces. Honestly Wetherspoons wings are far better. Would they be better if you ate at the restaurant? Possibly... would have to test that theory to confirm

If you like chicken, and a retro vibe. Bunk is the place for you. Cocktails served in jars, and can get Haribos for after. Friendly staff and always spot in food.

As always, fantastic staff, cocktails and food. We arrived at around 5pm and left around 10pm with no issues whatsoever. Everyone around was having fun, live music in the back and the party I was with had never been to Bunk before and all enjoyed their time there.

Cute and lovely little bar in the old part of town. Lots of very tasty cocktails and various mocktails. The food menu is mainly chicken wings, nuggets, hotdogs and chips but is great for a bite to eat if you want to share and pick. You can choose a variety of sauces to have on your wings and also additional sides. The menu and drinks are reasonably priced and I was surprised at the end bill. I’ll definitely go back when meeting up with friends after work as it was very easy to grab a table, food was quick to arrive and all the staff were very helpful.

Bunk is the hidden gem of derby with a nice atmosphere and incredible cocktails and food. However mind and my partners experience was ruined by the aggressive and pushy bouncer (tall and ethnic) he shouted at us for sitting in a booth as we’d been sat at a table near the door and it was very cold. He told us we shouldn’t have sat on a booth and then said we had to share the booth even tho the table was full of food we ordered. He then forced 2 girls to come share the booth who were so uncomfortable they left terrible customer service from him. Let’s the brand down and I haven’t returned since.

Loud music without an apparent theme, and lights too dark. (Would be ok if it was a club for dancing and drinking but while I was there all the customers were sitting at tables trying to eat and chat and have a cocktail or two...it was also 6pm)

Love bunks ever since my little sisters took me there one night,great food especially their chicken wings in buffalo sauce and the halloumi fries are lovely when cooked properly as last time had to send them back as they were soggy,think the cocktails need updating to better ones aswell

Had a date night great atmosphere great music I describe it as chicken wings and cocktails in a night club loved it so different! The food looked excellent we only stayed for cocktails the cocktails were amazing we went during happy hour!! Would highly recommend staff lovely and helpful fast service!!!!! Give Bunk a try

Basic food - what's not to like though? Veggies and meat eaters can unite over the simple nugget. But honestly, why are your cocktails so sweet? They're like the premixed stuff you get from Aldi but on a smaller scale and that's with ice. Jeeze. PS. Ditch the plastic straws it's lame. XOXO

Lovely interior, warm inviting retro, cocktails are awful every time I've tried something different all taste cheap, Door men are VERY unfriendly make you feel very uncomfortable and intimidated, was told very aggressively to get my foot off the seat...my legs were crossed and my foot touched the sofa!

Really enjoy visiting bunk. It's our second time and we love the vibe of the place. They serve some great cocktails which are good value and excellently crafted. And the food is delicious. Really like the wings, halloumi fries and the range of dips.

Went to Bunk for the second time last weekend and the atmosphere was that of a trendy, but fun bar. Luckily managed to get a table, but at around 8pm the place was packed. Drinks were £5 each until 10pm and there were also half priced wings which tasted so nice! Not that many varieties of drinks, but there are a lot of food options available, as well as sauces. I would recommend this place, although my only gripe is the amount of seating, if this was increased this would easily be the best bar in town.

Bunk is by far the best cocktail place in Derby. The atmosphere is vibrant and interesting. Cocktails are £5 between 5-10pm and they serve wings at half price during the same time. The aesthetic is a gorgeous retro / neon theme paired with urban jungle and somehow it just works. There is a live DJ on popular nights but the music never becomes overpowering or 'in your face'. The staff are friendly and efficient and you're never left waiting. Highly recommended.

Came here to do pres on my 20th birthday. Lovely atmosphere, the drinks can be a bit pricey but you get a lot of alcohol in the cocktails so it's worth it
