Bar staff. Bar drinks great. Food improved greatly.

The food was exceptional, with a warm, and private table. The service was exceptional, as not overwhelming, but attentive, polite and informative. Our party of three, were very satisfied with the menu options as the quality was excellent. I always judge a good place on an expresso martini, which seemed to finished the meal off very well.

Staff great but very busy but food arrived luke warm we had Sunday lunch trio of meats which the chicken was dry the pork dry the beef was ok but under seasoned there was no salt and pepper, the gravy was watery yorkies like cardboard For the price it was very disappointing

Amazing food. I had the lamb rump with harissa, dauphonoise potatoes and veggies. I couldn't fault it..

Asked for a non alcohol beer on arrival and they only had Lucky Saint !! Not a very nice beer I thought they should have had a bit more selection than just that one, went through to have a meal with family and it was very cold in there, asked why the door was open on one of the coldest nights of the year and was told if they close it people would think it was closed so we all sat with our coats on while having a meal, didn't even ask if we wanted to be moved to a possible warmer place to eat

Lovely cosy hotel/restaurant/pub located in Meriden, which is technically located at the centre of England (if you drew a line from all costliness). It's quite expensive but the food, drink and service are worth it. The wine glasses are the cleanest ever seen and attention to presentation is excellent. A visit is recommended, especially if you are celebrating something 😉👍✔️‼️

Dined on boxing day 4pm booking with my family .. was told on arrival table would be late ended up 30mins late . Not everything was available on the menu, and had to on a number of occasions remind the staff of my drinks order .The member of staff who served us was direct in approach but came across as rude which I had the pleasure of paying £44 pounds in a service charge . The total bill was almost £500 which isn't a concern as the food that was served was lovely and of a high standard but the experience didn't replicate that unfortunately.If you can't manage a full day's booking reduce your service times .. 2nd boxing day I have been but will not be returning.

Food very average. Soup Luke warm . Expensive drinks . Manager unhelpful and needs to go on a customer care course asap Appeared to not want to be on shift .

Used to be regular here when I lived locally, back for Xmas to see friends and family, met up here for dinner and what a disappointment. Commercialisation has turned this charming gem into a crammed dull venue with average food and very poor service where staff are busy talking to each other than serving the guests. Decor is crumbling and suggest you don't sit near the outside walls as damp seems to be evide t with crumbling walls flaking over your clothes and possibly food.

We booked a table for five people. table was ready when we arrived. We ordered drinks they arrived twenty minutes later. We all had the festive three course meal. Which was cooked to perfection could not fault anything. we all enjoyed our meals. Will definitely book a table in the near future. our waiter Owen was very pleasent. the only thing I would recommend is that the waiters could wear a apron. to give that that extra class. Keep up the good work excellent all rounder. would recommend to family and friends.

The food was amazing, the service was very good but the tables are quite close together so if you needed to get up and use the restroom you bumped into the another tables chair. Decor was lovely but some of the decorations were off as the batteries were dead, which was a shame as Christmas lights make the place look more magical.

Lovely time at the bulls head for breakfast with Santa. Food was delicious, we all had traditional breakfasts, to quote my dad ‘the best breakfast he’s ever had’ and service from Ram was perfect, really helpful and attentive, going above and beyond to interact with my little one. Would definitely recommend to visit, great atmosphere and Santa was excellent.

Lovely cosy setting with a great atmosphere. The menu is on point with a great choice of traditional and gastro pub food.

Food great as usual, there were a few hiccups in service but manager Aayush looked after us very well. Looking forward to our next visit.

Stunning as always! Superb food, we had pan fried prawns, pate, lamb rump and pork belly as well as sticky toffee and rum pudding and lemon tart. Our daughter had kids pasta and artisan bread. Great service, nothing was too much trouble and the added bonus of the restaurant being decorated for Christmas ❤️🎄❤️

Discovered this little gem offers breakfast, so I decided to try as I have always had gorgeous meals here. It did not disappoint! Bradley was a fabulous host; friendly, chatty and attentive. I couldn’t choose, so I went with his recommendation. Perfect! Compliments to the chef, Adam. Highly recommend the Bulls Head - a cute spot with lovely staff an amazing service!

Great staff, that look after you well, professional yet friendly and welcoming. The food was very tasty. No one on our event team had any complaints and saw lots of empty plates at the end of the meal. Would recommend it to anyone.

Nice food but booked a table weeks in advance to be put on my own on the other side of the pub and not the restaurant!

Visit tonight and it was a lovely setting, went for the wine and dine experience which is excellent value for money considering there was scallops and steak on the menu. Starters were amazing, excellent bottle of wine however we both ordered steak for our mains that were exceptionally over seasoned to the point it was inedible - tasted like a bottle of salt had been poured over the steak, steak sauce and veg, even the chips that had steak juices on were inedible. Tried to persevere but it was just too salty. Told the waiter Dan who was the absolute saving grace he is a credit to the business - so understanding and funny. We didn’t want replacement steaks as we’d eaten most of the chips so Dan said he would reduce the bill for us so just ordered dessert which was also lovely. When we got the bill only 20% had been taken off which we didn’t feel was fair as the main part of the meal was inedible so we asked for a further reduction which was done, however when Dan was speaking to the manager we could see him pulling faces and rolling his eyes which made us feel like we were making a fuss over nothing. The issues with the food I would have put aside as a one off and returned but the attitude of the manager has put me off returning.

Came in for Sunday lunch on the 20th and sat round the back behind the bar which I have never been round before. I was amazed by the quality of service and the very tasty roasts. Will definitely be coming back in the near future to try out the week menu 👌. Would recommend

Came in for a Sunday lunch yesterday and the service was brilliant, will definitely be come back again.

Lovely looking pub atmosphere was good. We arrived and were seated at 6pm and told we could only have the take for 2 hours, not a problem, we had average starters went to order mains at 7pm and no Rump steaks left, our entire table had wanted the steak which seemed very poor given the night was early. We had very long wait time for drinks with every drink order and had to enquire a few times as to where they were. We asked for salt for our food and vinegar but non turned up so went to find it ourselves. The service was very slow and very poor

Met friends for food, drinks, and catch-up, food was good, we had two vegetarians in the group, and options were good as they severed other options than just mushrooms like most. Good size portions and choice of drinks were good

We were walking part of the Coventry Way and booked a table in the bar ( as we had dogs) for evening meal....walked quicker than expected and arrived very early but nothing was a problem! Beautiful food and great service. I had the pie and would highly recommend .....hubby's burger looked great too! Even dog treats at the bar so everyone was happy👍

We booked a table in the restaurant however when we arrived we were put on a wobbly table crammed in the bar. We had only just sat down when the waitres asked if we wished to order drinks. We were next to a speaker and my husband is hard of hearing. We were going to have the wine and dine experience at £100 but decided to leave as I wouldn't spend that for a bar meal.

I went expecting pub grub but ate fine food showing zest and good ideas. The staff were wonderful and the whole experience was very enjoyable. Nothing is perfect and a little less waiting between courses might have been good but it was busy.

We were greeted by a hostess/manager Michael who showed us to our table. Who was informative. and polite. We had a lovely meal our waitress was MJ she was very attentive with a lovely smile and very accommodating to our needs. Lovely hot food and my steak was cooked just right. I was told the head chefs name was Nick, so thank you for the well cooked food for my family. We will definitely return.

Food was all good.but we bought a bottle of Pinot Noir that was very weird - it wasn’t corked but tasted very odd and stuck to the roof of your mouth. The waiter tasted it and agreed. I'm giving this 5 stars because the young girl serving us was superb. Nothing was too much trouble - she even went and got some Pepperoni for my son to check to see if if was spicy! BUT she was absolutely stretched and the drinks service was abysmal - which wasn't her fault. The manager(I think as dressed different) wasn't at all engaging and left her two excellent staff to do the work. So the pub needs better management but the food is superb and the staff are great. The pizza and chocolate bomb was superb. As was the meat board.

Family Sunday roast...really quick service...food was lovely and tasty...and the puddings are amazing....great atmosphere...very chilled...a little bit pricey....but we'll worth it...shall definitely return...keep up the good work guys 😊
