Buenos Aires in Reigate and Banstead

I have been going to this restaurant for many years. Service is always fantastic as is the food and beverages.

The ambience was great, and the service was impeccable with a great choice of Argentinian reds. The quality of the steak was disappointing. Other restaurants locally offer better quality at a similar price. The starters were good, but the desert was a tiny portion and underwhelming. Overall, it was an OK experience, but unfortunately, we would not consider visiting again.

Always have a lovely time at Buenos Aires but, on this occasion, the upstairs was lit like a McDonalds and we had to ask the waiter to dim the lights - which he did immediately, and to everyone's relief, but it's not really for the customer to create the ambience!

Was lovely to be greeted by happy smiling staff as we entered the restaurant. The food was lovely and a good timing between each course.our medium rare steak was delicious. Lovely selection of wines We had a very pleasant evening and will definitely be back again soon .

I can’t fault the service we received from the manager and staff. Service was personal and friendly and with a smile. Very attentive staff. Food was great but always is. We didn’t feel rushed as were the last ones to leave. Definitely recommend for a great date night out!!

Although the steaks were well cooked. We thought the cost of the meal expensive.

Waiting staff did a great job. It's a really nice space and nicely busy with atmosphere but the food was below average. Aubergine escalope was a bit tough, not as nice as I remembered. The mushroom pasta was also not as good as I remembered. They were supermarket mushrooms and the pasta was fine. The broccoli side dish was overcooked. And the churros dessert was not v fresh and the sauce probably would have been nicer if it was warmed. I will probably give the restaurant another try in future as they were previously really good but will go for different dishes next time.

The food is very good we both had steak. The staff were very polite and friendly.

Had a wonderful evening. Steaks were amazing, although there could have been slightly more salad on the plate. Puddings were delicious but it would have been nicer if pancake/crepe' was warm along with the churros and chocolate sauce, but that's just a personal choice. It's a shame we were sat underneath the aircon as it kept dripping on us. Overall lovely restaurant and will definitely be going back again

The steak was absolutely superb! It always is and the quality is very much appreciated. The service was okay but to be honest we felt a little rushed and would have expected a pause between drinks/starter/main. Also when I booked I had let it be known that we were celebrating my daughters engagement and we had expected a little moment to recognise that but nothing happened

First time visiting on recommendations from friends. We were expecting amazing food but it was nothing special. The starters were good but the mains were average. We’ve had better steak in other restaurants that aren’t steak houses! Sorry to say we won’t be going back. Very overrated & expensive.

We had been wanting to try Buenos Aires out for a while but this was the first opportunity we had. What an amazing restaurant, the food was absolutely wonderful, full of flavour, well presented and cooked to perfection. The house red wine was also very very good. Service was second to none, we cannot recommend this restaurant more highly, and we will definitely be visiting again soon. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

We had a lovely meal and the waiting staff very friendly. However after we had finished our main course we felt under pressure to order our desserts and then we were told that the bar was closing (at 9:30pm!) so if we wanted more drinks to order now. Our bill was brought to us swiftly and on payment and leaving felt that they just wanted to turn the lights of close up for the night. Now it wasn’t late ….9:45pm’ The food was delicious and staff friendly but felt they were under pressure from a higher level to get people out of the restaurant. Such a shame

It looked no different to the steak they took away still rare I'm with family I'm not gonna keep asking. They did say what they gave me was the legal limit on blue steak. So the legal limit is rare. The advertise blue steak. They cannot cook blue steak. Also I enjoy the taste of my steak so no sauce. I don't know if they use a chemical on their grill but my steak had a strong taste of a chemical I have been to this restaurant often but the last 3 visits have had issues but this visits was one of the worst cooked steaks I have ever had at a restaurant

Fabulous food, never had a bad meal here, steak was cooked as we requested, was succulent, tasty, lean. Puddings are delicious and a good size unlike many places now. Our son lived his burger so much he had 2! Always good service and staff dressed smartly too.

It had been far too long since we last visited and the food/service was as exceptional as before. The best steak out of anywhere we visit and value for Monday as good as anywhere we go to aswell. Reminded us we need to visit more frequently and hosting is excellent. Thank you!

Service and food were spot on. Unfortunately with the restaurant being quite small and very quaint the noise traveled easily throughout this is not a complaint more an observation. Enjoyable even apart from high noise level.

Great food. Service is really good except we only had ten minutes warning they were closing at 21:30. All the staff are lovely and the steak is delicious.

On arrival given a table for two under the stairs facing the wall and a view of the toilets also shoved next to the stored baby chair, a really poor table. Mentioned it to the manager who was excellent and moved us to another table upstairs after half an hour even though they were really busy. Received a complimentary liquor and a desert to share. Excellent customer service. Food was really good, staff excellent, a couple of rowdy tables but after the table issue overall had a good evening. Steak was delicious.

Really good restaurant with buzzy atmosphere and attentive waiting staff/management. Husband and son said steaks were great. Going to a steak restaurant as a vegetarian was somewhat daunting but the choices were good - better than most places. Wine list was great too. Would highly recommended and go again ❤️

Some of the best steak ever. They know their way around a grill. Delicious Malbec. My mother had a “Groucho” steak salad and was very happy. Excellent service. Bit of a hidden gem somehow in Reigate.

Again visited this restaurant tonight and although it was busy we had the most amazing service! Food so tasty and wine well advised. We have been here so many times and they go above and beyond to have fun and give attentive service every single time. Look forward to next time

Food and table service very good. However, table allocation for two under was under the stairs and no approval was sought as to whether we were content with that arrangement or to offer an alternative. There was insufficient room on the table to avoid significant overlap of table mats - very disappointing. Extremely loud mixed group of four on the table next to us and on several occasions difficult for the two of us to have a conversation and hear each other clearly. On a number of occasions when speaking with the waitress we had to ask her to repeat herself because we could not hear her clearly over the table next to us. In addition there were several examples of inappropriate language by said table, again in a loud voice, and all of this before 8.00pm. I have no issue with people enjoying themselves, but there was a total lack of respect with some members of that group for others in the restaurant and while you are not in control of people's actions, there was, in my opinion, no concern shown by the restaurant for the experience of other customers. For that reason we will not be rushing back. Thanks.

Had a voucher to use, so gave it a chance, well so glad we did from the moment we entered the service was friendly & professional, but the food was amazing 8oz sirloin cooked to perfection & 14oz rib eye was just a mouth watering dream, steak at its best. Side of spinach just perfect. Great value would highly recommend, well done to the front of house & all behind the scenes, thanks will definitely return.

Great food - would love to be more of a regular for their lovely steaks - but they are getting too pricey for this to be anything more than an occasional treat.

This was the second time I have visited the restaurant but the first time in a couple of years. The service was first class all staff were very friendly and polite the overall ambiance was nice and the quality of the food first class

Steak and side dishes were very fresh and tasty. quality was very high standard. Malbec wine was very nice. Place is small and felt but cramped inside. Staff was friendly and the price was just a little over for the venue and location.

Impromptu visit for an early dinner with the wife, service was perfect as were the dishes. We had Padron peppers to start with the chorizo with caramelized onions. I tried the Lomo which was cooked to perfection and my wife tried the BA Burger which was out of this world. Wouldn't normally recommend a burger in a steak restaurant but Im going back to have one myself.

The food was delicious as it always is here. The service was thoughtful and considerate, friendly and welcoming. This is the first time we have brought our children here and they loved it too.

Excellent food and place to dine. Staff were exceptional and food was served all together and on pipeing hot plates. It doesn’t take much to impress us diners and we’re all pleased with the food and atmosphere in this superb restaurant. Well done all staff, you were 10/10.

De vrais steaks argentins cuits à la perfection! Je me suis régalé! Et le serveur m'a proposé un très bon choix de vons pour accompagner la viande, j'ai choisi un délicieux Malbec. J'ai vraiment retrouvé les saveurs que j'avais appréciées à Buenos Aires, ce qui est très rare dans des restaurants en dehors d'Argentine. Manager (d'origine italienne) très sympa avec qui j'ai pas mal discuté, un passionné de son métier, c'est beau à voir!

Christian the manager was outstanding. He made our evening by going above and beyond. Helpful, friendly but gave us enough time for ourselves absolutely first rate and the biggest reason we would book again. The steak was perfect and the spinach delightful. Overall a fantastic night and it won't be so long before I go back again

My husband and I visited last night and were met by the friendly team working. The service was fantastic, the team were attentive and the food was divine. We enjoyed our meal massively and will be back again.

Great evening out , good food and great vibe . A couple of the steaks were a little undercooked but the quality of the meat was outstanding so we didn’t mind .

Visited as a family group during the christmas break. The table was all set up and the servers were very attentive and polite but unfortunately the food really let this restaurant down. The portion size was small (we had the sharing grill board) and the chicken was overdone and tough

Had a fabulous evening, the food is always nice, and the service is just as good. The staff really made our evening, interacting with us, so friendly and making us laugh. Can’t wait to rebook. We attended on 22nd December so the noise levels were more likely linked to that and the festive celebrations, it did make it hard to hear sometimes but wouldn’t put me off going again. X
