Was really disappointed with the food. Been here quite a few times over the years but last couple times i have been really disappointed with the food.

Bar staff(clearly a couple) bickering while I fished the hair out my baguette made me quickly leave. Usually a decent pub but standards clearly dropping

Great bands and great staff. Always a good atmosphere.

Wish I hadn't been here, they have no idea how to keep their lines clean, drinks tasted stale, think people use this place as a public convenience and don't even attempt to be customers. The place stinks badly of mucky toilets

A wee day visit to Dundee... Stopped off for fish and chips and a latte for lunch.

Classic Dundee bar. Usually busy, so it can be difficult to get a seat. Not the most elegant bar in Dundee, but bit rough around the edges but that's why I like it. Not tried the food, but the menu is basic pub grub. Steps to the toilets are steep, so keep your wits about you. Overall, I like the bar, it's not pretentious and, bonus points, there are two record shops in the same street within 100 yards. Perfect for a quick drink then a browse though vinyl.

Nice wee old pub with home made food very friendly and welcoming. Food was very nice macaroni cheese, chips and salad was very cheesy and saucy with and amazing taste, fish and chips really nice and tasty and the homemade steak pie was so nice. Iv noticed a few bad reviews on here that are for (The Old Bank bar) which is a different pub and is situated near this pub which is a shame that people don't check the place they been to first and a few good reviews on the OLD BANK BAR reviews are for this pub instead. We had no issues with the pubs peak times it can get very busy so sometimes best to call to see if you can reserve a table. Would recommend 100%

Great place and great friendly bar staff and amazing lovely homemade food

Nice place for a drink (or many!). Cool rock and roll and folk bands playing live. Variety of beers. Kind staff (even the doorkeeper) and nice people. On the other hand it was abolutely overcrowded. The toilettes, underground, need some improvement.

Food was terrible mince and chips horrible

Excellent service we did not have food as we had just eaten, saw other customers getting food delivered and they told us it was excellent.

We stopped in for dinner after a long day on the coastal trails. The beef pie (not sure of the actual name) was exactly what I needed after the cold wet winds. Also interesting group of people.

Most overpriced and horrible food I have seen in a long time. Fish was more batter than fish and looked like it had been reheated after being left out for a week. Burger was tiny and chips looked like the ones you find when cleaning out the oven. Lemon looked like it had been taken out of Tue bin a few days before. Very disappointed. Would have asked for a refund or another meal if we had had time. Server was great though, very nice, not her fault the kitchen served up such slop.

Very nice place. Great atmosphere, polite personnel and great food! It was also a quiet place...not noisy as other bars in the area.

£12.50 for pint of Guinness and a small bottle of procecco , what's the price of Guinness , what's the price of a Procecco? Management I await your answer...

Went to watch the rugby, because I was supporting South Africa I was thrown out for cheering for my COUNTRY in the final of the world cup. New Zealand supporters could cheer and it was fine. RACIST PLACE to say the least. NOT GOOD FOR WATCHING LIVE SPORTS, unless you sat silent and don't say a word, or support the team the "staff" support.
