Small businesses make any community and this place is one of the best we have. Just beautiful food, perfectly priced given the quality, great delivery too (mindfully knocked the door quietly after my request because of a newborn!) Couldn't recommend more x

I went through the hassle of downloading the app, choosing what we wanted and trying to place the order. The app said they can't deliver as we're too far away (1.3 miles). I went to book a collection, only available time was 2.5 hours away. Will order from somewhere else. Waste of 15 minutes of my life. Cheers.

This is a MUST EAT spot in Dundee. Incredibly tasty neapolitan pizza, quality ingredients, and extremely moreish. Mama Maria's sides were superb, and those chicken tenders were glorious. Fluffy batter and a nice sweet lighty spiced coating, and they were plentiful too. We also grabbed some arincini, perfect, perfect, and perfect. These were 🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌. The quality and freshness of the ingredients used by Luigi's really translates into every bite of their products. The store is dog friendly, and the team are so super lovely. It was fantastic having a wee chat with them about all things dogs, travel, and pizza. They are like a family in there and it was lovely to see how they really care about their staff and their customers.

By far the best pizza I’ve had in the UK. These guys know how to make real Italian pizza. Super fresh, probably the best food in Dundee no doubt

Pizza is amazing but cheesecake is always sold out!! I’m not sure if they don’t make/order enough but I have been so disappointed recently as everytime I go to order there is never any cheesecake left.. and it’s soooo delicious that it’s half the reason I want to order

Finally passing through at the right time and day to get a chance to stop in here. Pre-ordered through the app on the way - great selection to choose from, but make sure to order well in advance! I spent less than 30s in the shop and I felt so welcomed by every member of staff, they were all welcoming, friendly and happy. The food was hot, tasty and good value for the high quality food being served. Can recommend trying the arrancini balls!

This is the best pizza I have ever had

Wow. Travelled from London and drove past and just knew it would be good! What a wonderful pizza, fresh and beautifully put together and we also had the light succulent fish goujons finishing off with the delicious rasberry cannolis. Also the wonderful friendly team gave us some great ideas for out trip and made our evening with their friendliness. 5 stars allround, Luigi would be proud!

The whole family is a blast. We are brand new customers and i think we shall become regulars. They run a tight ship ,super clean, organised and last but not least super tasty pizzas. See you guys soon

My wife and I were staying in Dundee and she was feeling a bit under the weather and asked me to get her a pizza instead of going out. We were glad we did. We had two delicious and substantial pizzas and a couple of arancini (one portion is quite big so we split it). They were ready on time. We were able to park right outside (perhaps we were lucky) and the service was good. The online menu we found didn’t list all the things they sell. If it had, perhaps we’d have tried the veggie haggis bites. We don’t have those in Yorkshire. I’ve only given it 4 stars for atmosphere - it is only a takeaway after all. However, I would say that it looked very clean and well-maintained. We’ll definitely come back here if we’re in Dundee again.

Went back here 2 nights in a Row when we visited our friends in Scotland. Best pizza I've had in years, and that's legitimately a tall order... Best flavours / toppings speedy to order. And generally just lovely staff when we went in to pick up our Za's

Phoned in 20 minutes before they shut and accommodated my takeaway order. Many would just say sorry we're shut. You can't put a price on kind service! I'll be back for sure

I recently moved house from Dorset just so I could pre order a Luigi’s to avoid disappointment as they are very busy (because they are outstanding) and they sell out, and if you’re not fast, well … you’re last.

The most Authentic Italian Pizza, pre book your collection slot and you will receive a perfectly cooked taste sensation every time. Great friendly service caps off the experience.

I recently took the long and arduous walk from Dorset to Dundee and had the foresight to pre-order my pizza at the famous Luigi's. Luckily Luigi's Instagram and social channels often warn of the need to pre order as they are so busy feeding the legions of supporters they have in Dundee and the surrounding area - so glad their communication is on point or I may have missed out on what is the best pizza in Scotland.

The best pizza in Dundee, hands down. They’ve nailed down the operation to a tee and it’s a sight to see the conveyor belt of unreal pizzas flying out the door. These places don’t exist without a driven and passionate team - I take my hat off to them.

Very disappointed... After a very long drive from Dorset, then a very long walk from broughty ferry I was told they were sold out for the night, and could not make one single pizza for me?? I have been constantly checking their website and Facebook page to avoid this, but obviously they are absolutely useless at marketing and communication!!! I hope this review saves people a lot of wasted time and energy!!!

Well It had very doughy crust that reminded me of freshly baked bread With some chewy cheesy and really deep herby sauce I had Capricciosa Pizza - VEG and Neapolitana both had just enough toppings to enjoy it but not too much to overwhelm one. Can't get enough of that crust.

Bolognese arncini are to die for. Best ever. These and a sweet are more than enough for a meal. Delivery super fast and always nice friendly drivers. Good communication when you sign up for the app/updates.

Lovely tasting pizza, as expected, however, the cost of living crisis has clearly reached Luigi's and the toppings, perfectly placed, were very sparce. Counted 6 small meatballs and 5/6 pieces of chicken (in total) and 1 slice of pepperoni on each slice (6 slices) of a 12" pizza. Disappointing and would rather they just increased the price of their pizzas.

Don't expect a large pizza for your bucks. It was very good but doesnt warrant the price. A good lunch pizza

Easily one of the best meals I've ever had in Dundee. The chef himself delivered the food and really friendly. Can't wait to order again so I can collect it myself and meet the artists at Luigi's!

I love a pizza. Love ‘em. But a takeaway pizza is more than a convenience, it has to be special. What’s more, because my tummy appears to protest about gluten, I have to choose my pizzeria carefully; just flour water salt, dough rested for ages. You know the drill. T’other week I spent an afternoon in Spex Pistols, also in Dundee, where head honcho, Richard raved about Luigis. So I made it a mission to get there whenever I next could. What do you need to know? Well, they have an app. That’s important because they’re busy and despite placing an order just after opening at 1700, I was given a collection time of 1915. But that’s fine, I had the option of ditching the order on the app once I had this beta. The app was a doddle to use and I could, and did, customise my choices. Collection: These guys and gals are in Hilltown, which isn’t town centre. I had the car and it was an easy spin. Google reckoned it would take half an hour to march there from the V&A. Just be aware that you might have to earn your calories if you are leather-tramping. The staff? Engaging, charismatic and funny. As soon as I arrived I was greeted, and chit-chat commenced. But no time was wasted. They hit my order. This was going to be fresh. And it was. Fresh and quick. It’s Neapolitan style, right? In the oven a couple of minutes. The smell was amazing. I was desperate to tuck in. Exceptional flavours, cooked to perfection and warm, Scottish service. It’s not all deep-fried mars bars and stovies up here, you know.

First visit. Delicious pizzas. Will be back.

The best pizza and the best fish and chips in Dundee by a very wide margin. Great app to make your order with huge menu variety and weekly specials. To top it off, the deliveries are always on time and made with a smile. Our go to takeaway ever since our first order. Try it!

Luigi's is the best. My partner and I often pop in with our dog Roxy to order pizza and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. The pizza is also to die for. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

This has place has the ability to serve great pizzas to the worst in town they does not take responsibility for their mistakes. I had the best pizza I had this year to the worst but problem I have customer service is that they don't take responsibility for their mistakes and don't offer refund for the ones they make, because they don't believe they can make them. I have been a chef for 20 years know quality when I they capability of producing it when I phoned to complain about my pizza dry not enough cheese and and ordered extra topping they said they were generous with there portion sorry you feel that the driest pizza ever had at £14 felt ripped off . There's photo see the extra toppings and dryness for yourself.

Best Vegan Pizzas in Scotland! Not just vegan cheese as a replacement - proper homemade cashew nut creamed and flavoured to a delicious end! Will be back again soon!

If you are a fan of Domino's pizza then this place is definitely not for you..... This is a real artisan pizzeria, making excellent quality authentic pizza. These guys wouldn't be out of place in Naples!

I decided to try Luigis for the very first time after hearing great reviews about the place. When it came to putting my order through I found out that I had to spend at least £15 + £3.50, even though my order, delivery charge and tip for the delivery driver came to £17.30,sorry,but I went else where for food. Surely the most expensive pizza for a single person in Dundee.

First time we had pizza from Luigi's on a recommendedation from a friend and we were not disappointed. We ordered on the app and my wife collected it. Very tasty and lots of nice flavours, best pizza we have had for a while. Look forward to returning to sample more of Luigi's amazing pizzas.

Tasty pizza and chips - great service

Great pizza, but don't expect the order to arrive near the 15 minute delivery slot. Owner rude on the phone and not understanding that people order in particular time slots as they would like the pizza in the time slot. I thought that was was whole point of time slots and not specific times? Apparently, as it is a family run business all customers should allow a 30 minute grace period for delivery, but this information was no where to be found on the app. Oh and it was £3.50 for the delivery that arrived 27 minutes late. Happily taking our business elsewhere.

A great way to start inviting friends into the garden after lockdown. An afternoon that started with great pizzas agreed by everyone to be special. Lucky to have Luigis family on our doorstep.. m

Thanks to Ben, I had a challenge in ordering online and when I explained this to him on the phone, he kindly went the extra mile by allowing me to collect from the premises which I know is not the done thing on a Friday night. The food was also excellent and I would highly recommend this as one of the best local pizzerias.

Absolutely fabulous pizzas delivered within delivery slot. Just needed warmed through- we ordered delivery and bake. So tasty, pizza base perfect. Will definitely order from Luigis again!

I travel 30 mins to another city for this pizza and it is worth it 100%. Best pizza Iv ever had without a doubt. Really lovely staff. Also very good prices for how delicious the pizzas are.

Ordered over the phone for collection given a slot at 20:00 turned up and the Pizza just came out of the amazing looking proper Pizza oven. Pizza was delicious proper fresh ingredients and proper Italian Pizza - Wow.Had Arancini as well which is also amazing really tasty.Had the Aioli and Pesto dip truly outstanding you need to try it.Used to live in the Hilltown over 15 Years ago and Luigis was amazing way back then but with the new designed shop and that Pizza Oven they have risen to a whole new level.Thanks Luigi`s great food.Luigi will be proud of all you guys - Well done!!!

Wow what a find, traveling through Dundee and found this place on Google Maps. Absolutely gorgeous pizza and amazing chips. The staff are very friendly and professional and the takeaway is very clean. Definitely will be stopping here again next time I'm up these ways. A well deserved 10/10 👍🏻

The best vegan pizza I have had, the cashew cheese is delicious and doesn't have the unpleasant texture and taste of coconut oil based alternatives. I am going to be recommending Luigi's to everyone; the food is amazing and the people are lovely.

Gran pizzería, personal amable, limpio y luminoso con zona de estar mientras espera. Sabrosos ingredientes frescos con pizzas hechas a pedido y recién cocinadas en el horno de pizza. A un precio muy razonable con una gran selección de lados y algunas ofertas de comida. ¡Realmente disfruté las bolas de haggis y una creación propia de 12 ”! Recomiendo esta comida para llevar.

Best pizza shop in Dundee. Been there since I moved there in 1990 and has been refurbished to keep up with the times. Pizza is great and they've kept the favourite sides as well (like fritters!). Family business and really genuine people. Well worth a visit.

We have been meaning to try Luigi’s for ages. Anyone who lives in the area will hear people raving about it. Anyone walking past will see how constantly busy it is. Well it was definitely worth it. Everything is of excellent quality, you can see all the ingredients and the pizza’s being made. The staff were super friendly. The pizzas were absolutely delicious! They have a great selection of vegan and vegetarian items.

Best pizza I've ever had! This is not your greasy, flavourless hangover pizza (although if you are hungover don't let that put you off ordering lol). This is fresh, artisan, authentic Italian pizza at a great price. Great range of toppings, they have vegan options and a good chip shop range too. The place looks amazing after its makeover, we were there twice in one weekend and will definitely be back for more!
