Amazing food and service! Iskender with Adana was great!

I ordered chicken and when I complained chicken taste like lamb ( prolly cheef grill everything together) waitress said is spices and I choose wrong chicken ( in card not find any information about my chicken well be taste like lamb). Waitress is was rude and we are waiting very long for food. TOTALLY NOT RECOMMENDED THE OWNER IS VERY RUDE

I totally not recommended after one dish and potatoes fries I spent all night with pain on the toilet. Be careful!!!!

The food was so good and the service was amazing! Order the chicken, kebab and lamb chops, so flavorful and tender.

Best food, hot, freshly cooked, service is impeccable and friendly. The restaurant itself is plush, clean and very inviting. Definitely will keep visiting.

Really good, food really good, best kebab that I had for this year! Service really nice as well, people warm and kind. Value of money is great! And good came out fast as well. They have unlimited bread as well which is tasty as heck. I would defo recommend 10/10

Very busy. Service ok. Skewered meat was tough. Honestly nothing special here. Once it quietened down they wanted to close up at about 9.30 pm. Prices a wee bit hiked for Dundee. Seems to be popular.

Food was amazing so was most the staff. Shame that the waiter with glasses was so rude, I was waiting at entrance for my husband to park waiter walked straight past me and went to the gentleman behind me when I said I was next in line the waiter told me to calm down and was very rude even the guy behind me looked shocked then we had a lovely meal the young lady serving us was very attentive then when we had finished we left a decent tip for her and the same waiter with the glasses see we had left a tip and run over to our table whilst we was still sitting and tried to take the tips and I told him they wasn’t for him and he got very agitated and walked off. Overall lovely place just seemed that the one waiter has an attitude problem

Really mean guy working, letting only rich-looking people in when half restaurant is empty. If you have a booking but your clothes don't look nice, he asks you to finish up quickly so that he can sit other people - and he will literally ask to go, I have never seen that anywhere else. It's not even a problem if you waited for food 30 min, and took just 10 minutes to eat and already placed another order. Last time literally got kicked out of my table and waited for my "takeaway" near the kitchen. It's a shame, because the food is good, and other waiters are really nice to you and treat you well. A couple of months ago we celebrated big events here twice with 10 people, and (I guess now I know why) the treatment was exceptionally good. That's why we kept coming back until the mean guy happened on the last 3 times. That's how you loose regular customers, and if we look poor on a working day, that only means we live here and might keep coming back if we like it. I strongly advise you guys look who you hire to deal with customers.

A really wonderful restaurant. I have visited 3 times over the last couple of months. Each time i have had either the lamb shish kebab or the lamb & chicken shish. The meats have a wonderul mixture of spices on them and come with rice and a small salad both of which are very gooo. They also provide two sauces a spicy red tomato based one (unfortunately couldnt partake due to my age and heartburn) and a yogurt/sour cream one that is very good. However i feel neither is needed due to the flavors of the spices on the meats.

It’s a shame since the food here really is good, but this place just cares about getting you in and out as fast as possible. My wife and I had dinner here and an older manager was constantly asking us when we would leave, how long we would take, etc. making us feel like we were being pushed out the door. We had a booking, and thought it was quite rude to approach us in 45 min and say: “There are people at the door waiting” - despite us telling we were waiting for a desert. Halfway through our meal they had us get up and move to a shared table so that another couple could sit there. I guess they looked wealthier than us. Just not a great dining experience truthfully. Another day we came in and were turned away although half of the restaurant was empty. Again, people behind us without booking were seated - and again they looked wealthier. Never thought we would be judged like that. Don’t come here if you’re just two people as this is how you’ll be treated. The staff here seems very nice, apart from the one rude person potentially manager.

Terrible service. The staff were dismissive, wouldn’t adhere to us, had a rude tone the entire time. It felt like they didn’t want to be there, or didn’t want us there. Definitely do not recommend if you are wanting to be surrounded by a welcoming and friendly environment. The guy also took my plate away whilst I was still having it then proceeded to say “you’re still having the oil?”

We love this restaurant. We came here in Sept, out of curiosity as we'd never been to a Turkish eatery before. Ever since we've been looking forward to returning. We got a table on Valentines day in the afternoon. I had lamb shish kebab and my wife had the sea bass. Both of us got a wonderfully tasty meal that will have us going back again the next time we're in Dundee. The hot sauce is HOT 🔥, the yogurt dip super yummy and the bread is so fine too. I highly recommend Milas.

Good food spoiled by a rude owner. Arrived without a booking and were told to return in 15-20 minutes, when we returned the owner spoke to us in a rude angry tone as he thought he said 30 minutes rather than 15-20. Food arrived both mixed grills very good, lamb shank was good but it would’ve been better if the braising liquid was thickened/reduced. That’s where the positives ended though. 5 minutes after we received our food we were told to “hurry hurry”, I wouldn’t expect that from any restaurant never mind after 5 minutes of receiving food. Continued to clamour over the top of us to take away plates before the whole table were done in an effort to get rid of us. I’d understand a polite request to leave if we were over staying our welcome but we were in and out in 45 minutes. Quite a shame the food was ruined by bad service.

Overhyped. Overbooked. Even though we made a reservation in plenty of time, our party were still kept waiting for 40mins to sit down. Some of the staff are superb, some are rude and ignorant. The food is good but not great value as it's pretty expensive. There's better places to eat in Dundee.

Visited with a friend for tea, booked for 5.30 and it was very busy, greeted by a luvly man who showed us to our table (no 20) through the back. Ordered our food, a mushroom and halloumi to share which was very nice. Then a Iskender + chicken shish and an mixed Iskender also very tasty. A great atmosphere in the restaurant as a lot of party tables. All the servers worked very hard. Will return :) :)

Wow wow wow! By far theeee best ever Turkish I have ever been to. Best balance of char seasoning flavour and service. Might make me want to move to Dundee! Don’t miss this place.

Very popular, stylish restaurant located in the centre of Dundee. Food is very good and offers something different to what else is in offer locally. Unfortunately, service was very slow when we visited and there was little customer interaction, they bring, they clear. I think perhaps on another day service might have been better. Perhaps they are a bit under staffed if they are a busy restaurant that also offers takeaway. I'll probably visit again.

Had a fabulous grilled platter for two and can't fault a thing .. first visit and definitely be back.

Believe the hype...food here is fantastic. We opted for the selection of cold and hot meze dishes to share and weren't disappointed, every dish was freshly made and tasted amazing, served with homemade bread...we'll be back!

Great Turkish restaurant. All the usual grilled meat/fish but also some interesting stews.

Found this place by happy accident on a trip to Dundee. We were welcomed by the manager, served by a friendly and helpful waitress and treated to a fabulous array of really tasty Turkish food and wine. The portion sizes were generous, too full for a dessert! Restaurant was busy but spotlessly clean and we didn't feel rushed. Great food and great service. Wish they would open a restaurant in our home town!

First time here for birthday celebration, food was wonderful and all staff friendly and obliging. Recommend will go back again.

I've been looking forward to trying Casserole at Milas for awhile now, and was so glad that I did! The food was so delicious and the service was really great too.

Nice lunch and good service. The restaurant looked spacious with nice decor. 3* for atmosphere as we were there at a quiet late lunch spot. I could imagine it's much more lively at night. The music was, for me, a bit repetitive.

Fantastic place to eat. The fact that I couldn't manage to not tuck in to the food before taking a photo just emphasis how good it is. A definite place for a meal when in Dundee.

I enjoyed a lunch here a couple of weeks ago. A great welcome from very attentive, but unobtrusive staff. The decor, and ambience were top class, and the food was excellent. Great choice of hot and cold starters. Main courses also offer great variety. Good wine list, and nice choice of beers. I will return on my next trip to Dundee.

I always visit Milas when in Dundee. The service, food and atmosphere are always reliable. Handy as it's situated in the city centre and close to the hotel that I use.

Walked in for a solo dining experience when I was visiting Dundee for work. Liked the decor from outside and the ambience inside did not disappoint. Staff was friendly, polite and very quiet k at service. The open kitchen added more to the experience where you can see the grills and other menu items being prepped. I had the. Combination grill which was served with salad, rice, dips and bread. Cleaned the plate with the generous portion of bread. Worth a visit for a lovely meal.

Went for late family lunch on a Sunday. Walk in. Was busy. Lovely food and great service. Authentic Turkish food. Lovely waiters. Back again for another family celebration. Lovely meal again. Lovely.fresh and hot. Good quality.

Food was tasty and atmosphere was good.But service was disappointed .Some Waiters were rude and not attentive. There were two male waiters .Different greeting and treating system according to the type of customers .We noticed it very well..That was very bad .They replied us in a rude way when we asked a table and also when we asked their help to choose the dish as some words were not familiar to us. But they replied us like we came to have their food for free .We felt uncomfortable..There was a young female staff , she was polite and treated us nicely and suitable for hospitality service.

If I could, I would rate them 6 stars. It's such a great place. Great foods. Great service. Above all, great people. They were so kind to my little daughter. Even the busiest chef didn't hesitate to share some gestures with her. It is one of the best places I have been. Tasty foods. Quick service. Fare prices. Overall, it was a great experience.

Met several friends for a get together and has the greatest time staff were excellent even put the cake on a stand for us. Plenty of room for our party and the food was amazing saw it being cooked in the open kitchen and really full on taste. Cocktails were very good and taste the alcohol as well. Wine was very good as we did have a few large glasses. Recommend. Next in Dundee we will m Call in again for sure.

The restaurant was quite busy when we arrived but our table was ready. Food was excellent and the service was first class. Very friendly and attentive waiters were always happy to help. Prices were not bad at all when you consider the experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

My wife and I called in the restaurnat during a recent day trip to Dundee. The service and food were second to none. Would 100% recommend this restaurant if your in the area.

Was able to be taken in at 6pm on a Friday evening without reservation (party of 2). Literally only thing I could pick up as a slight negative was time taken between being seated and food order being taken was extremely quick. With that being said, the server did spend time going through what we were interested in and was honest that the sharing combo for two was enough. Wine recommendation wasn't the most expensive bottle either. Food was fantastic. Cooked perfectly and full of flavour. Open kitchen allowing you to see the high hygiene standards. Staff regularly topped up water at the tables. Also, we had plenty of meat left over and a server provided a takeaway container and bag to take away. For hummus, A sharing platter for two and a bottle of red wine, it came to £77. For the standard of the meal, I feel that was extremely good. Aesthetic of restaurant is also done to a high standard. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant.

amazing food and hospitality! our table was a bit wonky and my aunt and i tried to stabilise it ourselves but the owners son came and did it for us, how sweet! the food was excellent, the halloumi was like perfection sent from heaven. 4 stars for atmosphere only because there was a fly bothering me but one of the other workers tried getting it away. bathrooms are very nice aswell.

If you're wanting to book a table for a certain time, forget it here! Along with about 4 other couples, all booked for 7.30 pm on Saturday 10th August 24, we arrived to a full restaurant, with no table reserved... Told to queue outside and wait. Clearly they've just let walk ins sit down to maximise their income, expecting folks to wait like idiots, with complete disregard for those who had booked. Disgusting! We went to McDonald's instead, preferring to spend our money in a proper Turkish restaurant, when we get back home to Manchester. Avoid this place if you can! Michael

Everyone I’ve spoke to who has been here says it’s amazing. They’re not wrong! Eventually tried for the first time at lunch time yesterday. It was 13:00 so very quiet and me and my colleagues were amongst the only people there. Service was very fast and everyone promptly had a drink. Food was quick too. They have a glass pane where you can see into the kitchen to see the kebabs being made which is very cool. I had the mixed kebab which gives you a bit of everything. All of the food was outstanding and just the right amount to fill me, without overeating. We paid the bill separately which the staff were happy to accommodate. They don’t have a dedicated lunch menu which is a bit of a shame and would probably result in it being a bit busier during the day. All in all, fantastic and can’t wait to go back.

Had a meal with a work colleague. Food was top notch Turkish. The service was friendly and speed was good.

Excellent kebab place in Dundee. Though it was very very crowdy the staffs were really helpful and welcoming. Portion size is good to share and we couldn’t even finish and took parcel 😂 Must to taste item: Lamb Ribs, Lamb Sish, Kunafe With all kebab item rice, bread and salad is provided. No need to order extra. You can take chips as extra. We are less eaters thus skipped hot/cold starters. Price: a bit higher but that is justifiable.

Delicious food, strange waiter and an incomprehensible pricing policy. We ate here with the family (3 men (good eaters) and 3 women). We wanted to order the meat platter for 4 people for 6 people. However, this was not possible with the reason: The cash register cannot do that. Why the same dish costs £48.5 for two people and £99 for four people could not be answered either. The food was tasty but ultimately just not enough for £140 with drinks. I'm used to different amounts from Turks. What should be emphasized is the child-friendliness. There is a changing table and a disabled toilet. All in all a good restaurant with room for improvement.

One of the best Turkish restaurents I have visited including Istanbul. The preparation and the desserts are Outstanding.

Glad we had a reservation as it seemed full. Disappointing lamb liver stater as asked for it to be very rare but it arrived more well done. Still moist and tender but not what ordered. Adana kebab and lamb guvac both excellent. Would return.

Came for the 4.7 stars and also local friend recommendations. Very good restaurant. Fully booked - we only managed to get a table at 8 pm. Order chicken kebab with rice and also seafood spaghetti- both are delicious and tasty. They have a bbq counter to prepare all the food. So it’s hot and fresh. Cocktail were good too. Must try if in Dundee.

I booked a table like a month in advance. When I showed up, there was no table for us. When we finally sat down, a manager moved us after a few minutes to sit down a larger group. We had to wait even longer, standing, even though we booked for a specific time and checked the booking prior to arriving. Food was lovely and the waitress was lovely too. The manager was completely disorganised and at one point there were 40 people queueing behind us which made it impossible to enjoy the meal. I appreciate this place is busy and the food was great. But they lie about bookings so I wouldn't recommend as not trustworthy. It's also rude to move people to sit a larger group without a table to move them to and make them stand for another 20 minutes while they were mid-ordering. Good food, terrible booking experience

This place was recommended to me and I was glad I gave them a try. The food tasted good.
