Brunch Club... More like Linner Club. Still sat here waiting for our food after over an hour. It's busy - I get it, but this is ridiculous. Update - it came after an 1: 15 mins. Chicken was dry, waffles were damp, eggs had uncooked whites. It was good food if we had to wait 20 mins. But ye, not good enough.

A really bad experience on todays visit, waited 1 hour 10 mins for food to arrive/ small portion and most stuff on the menu not available. Normal drinks, teas/coffees/ fizz really over priced especially when you have 3 of them whilst waiting for food. It all seemed so disorganised couldn’t even get a glass with my Fanta after asking 3x. Food was ok No card payments neither which caused inconvenience - what place in 2024 does not have a card machine. States dog friendly but didn’t have any dog bowls for water..

6 of us came today for breakfast for a friends birthday . The staff particularly Ben couldn’t do enough for us . He was very efficient and very well mannered and catered for our every need . We will definitely be back Thanks Brunch club

I spent a fantastic Sunday morning in the cosy, comfortable Brunch Club. The staff were friendly and attentive, but also respectful of my 'quiet time'. Delicious food. Great spot. Will definitely return.

I've been there with my partner this morning. We ordered 1 cappuccino 1 latte 1 breakfast club and one bennie egg with hollandaise sauce. There was no salt or pepper on the table, no ketchup. We asked for some, and the teenager who works there brought us 2 small sachets of salt and pepper along with small pots like from McDonald's of Ketchup. Bacon was overcooked, and it wasn't the freshest one. I believe it was cooked this morning, but probably 4 hours before we came. Also, the tomatoes were from the tin ( for this price, I would expect fresh tomatoes!!). Different prices on the menu and online. We spend 31 pounds for 2 coffees and 1 breakfast and 2 eggs on the bread with hollandaise sauce. You can't use a card (cash only) and won't even get a receipt. I believe this is for tax purposes. The stuff age is around 16-18, so on less than minimum wage. This is a pure scam place and would recommend that as for this price (31£) you can have a better quality food elsewhere. The waitress asked me if everything was alright with the food, and I said exactly what I put here. Still no discount offered. I'm very disappointed. The only good thing they have is coffee. Won't complain. Overall: Food -2 ( could have been better for 12.50£) Coffee 4 Atmosphere and staff : 2 Avoid.

Service was great (all teenagers working Saturday jobs), though food was shocking, and absolutely no effort has gone into upkeep of the premises. Food was expensive yet the restaurant looks dirty and shabby. They also don’t take card… First went here about 18 months ago and loved it. Seems to have lost its touch since then. Left feeling ripped off.

Came here killing time for a hair appointment. Have not been for many years ( think it might have been different owners before) Much more limited menu than I remember. Ordered sausage bun and latte, Service was prompt and the young servers were very pleasant. Food was fine. Average quality and hot. Young Staff seem a little unsure of themselves but try hard. A couple of unwelcoming features that could easily be put right. Cash only sign as you come us may be necessary but is off-putting, particularly for larger groups. Menus are dirty and tatty. Laminators are cheap enough and laminated wipe down menus would give a much better impression, Tables need thoroughly scrubbing. Shabby chic is not the same as dirty. Tables should no be sticky or have food residue on them. Overall, disappointing compared to what used to be here. I would come again if I needed to and there wasn't anywhere else. Seems popular with the walk in locals. Trouble is there are at least 3 other establishments within a 5 min drive who are doing similar fare (and better IMO)

Been wanting to try here for a bit and while I had some nice food here, there was some downsides too. Ordered the full breakfast and some of it was very nice, the sausages being a highlight, other parts were not quite as good. The scrambled egg for instance had next to no seasoning and was on the bland side, the bacon too, while flavorful, was a little on the over side. My only other big problem was soft drinks, they are quite expensive here. Over £3.50 for a single glass of pop. Its a shame as the food all looks gorgeous and the staff are very attentive and careful but its let down by not enough seasoning and prices being a tad on the high side for what's being offered.

Just had the most amazing lunch with my friend. The food was cooked to perfection, the service was outstanding and the atmosphere buzzing.

Food is nice as always. I have been a few times but each time I swear the staff are getting worse and worse. The lady serving us was so rude to the point the couple next to us commented after she walked off as she did it to both of us. Honestly I’m not sure if she’s trying to get the place shut down. The server had such an attitude, rude and just being disrespectful/ snarky.

We had booked this - arrived to find it was cash only (not mentioned anywhere on the website) & the staff were rude. We don't carry cash or cards to get cash out. We left and went somewhere else. No excuse to be cash only in 2023 such a waste of our time.

Lovely food but horendous service, appauling manners from staff. I booked a month or so ago for table of 3 and arrived and they didn't have a table for us.. so had to scrabble about moving people around. Poor management. Food took 45 mins for 3 burgers. Cash only apparently which wasn't mentioned when booking. We asked for the bill and asked how much per person, then went to the cash machine, came back to pay. Women behind the till couldn't add up correctly so I told her the correct amount per person which the waitor told us earlier on. She then snapped at me accusing me of being rude. Wasn't rude in the slightest, I can just add up correctly and offered to help to prevent us from getting charged incorrectly. Service with a smile goes a long way love!

Staff ok but not very friendly, very slow service, it took over half an hour for our food. Food tasted ok but was well over priced. Was given cows milk when asked for Oat. Cash only venue.

Lovely catch up with a friend at The Brunch Club this morning. Service was excellent and Ben was very friendly and professional. Our food was lovely and special request made by my friend were all met. Lots of tables were reserved which goes to show what a popular place it is. It's is always great to get good customer service along with nice food. We will definitely return. 👍

Absolutely amazing! A morning out with the missus and 4 boys for an absolutely wonderful breakfast! Everything was cooked to perfection, presented beautifully and delicious! Hands down, I haven't found anywhere better!

This place is beyond beleave, they make the prices up as they go, every day for a week I’ve gone here for scrambled eggs and beans on toast with a different price every day, starting from 6 pound up to 8.50, then depending who there serving depends wether you can pay by card or not, shocking serves

We then waited another 25 minutes so I went in and ask were out coffees were and she replied oh I forgot I said can you bring them out. Another couple had come in too after us and also ask we’re there coffee was. She brought the man’s out before ours and made sarcastic comments about me to him so we could hear ( even the man laughed when she had gone ) we finally got our coffees another 10 minutes later and they were luke warm I decided not to take it any further as the lady was very confrontational and rude I will never return and will tell others not to go as clearly looking at previous reviews there is a common denominator

Really disappointed with our most recent visit to brunch club. Firstly, we both ordered a smoothie to be told that out of the 6 options, they only had 1 available. We were then told they only "had 2 pancakes left" (so obviously not made fresh!). My dad then ordered the Brunch Club Breakfast. To which the waitress asked if he would eat all the items or could they save some food by not serving, for example, the black pudding... which my dad was really taken back by. The breakfast itself was tiny. It does list "mushroom, tomato" singular... so you would expect a large mushroom... not 1 ting regular mushroom on the plate! I had the brunch bun - usually I struggle to finish it, but this time it was definitely a lot smaller than usual and was hungry afterwards. I am not sure what went on this day, but if a food order was missing and stock was low, I'd have been round to supermarket to stock up rather than charging customers for tiny portions and coming across very rude. We also had someone put a reserved sign on our table (when I say put, heavily handed placed in the middle of us) and walk off. As if a hint to hurry along (when actually, it was the service being slow Why we were there so long!). Massive shame and hope this was just a one off day as been before and the food has been lovely and so has the atmosphere. P.S. I don't think you should keep advertising card machine broke every week and then staff say "it isn't actually broken but we prefer cash if possible". A cafe charging £10+ per meal should have card machine facilities.

Unable to order as only one staff member visible and she was busy. Cash only as technical issues. We were on tight schedule so had to depart and seek sustenance elsewhere.

Always great food and smoothies here! Was in a rush but food came really quickly despite it being busy. Def recommend for yummy brunch - the Mexican benni is so good!

Would give 0 stars if possible. Server was so extremely rude she make snarky comments at a group of young girls throughout the whole time and was extremely rude and impolite when it came to payment. The glasses were also extremely dirty and the food wasn’t worth it at all. Need new staff instantly

The owner was rude and shouted at me and my friends for getting our order wrong she also made snarky comments to me individually which I thought was unacceptable, the glasses had stains on, we was waiting ages and the food wasn’t amazing either.

Totally disturbing experience!! Manager should be ashamed of her behaviour! Swearing at customers!! Bought a takeaway hot chocolate & Americano circa 11.30am, albeit the service being a bit rubbish by the manager; her focusing purely upon taking payment, then immediately walking off ("You can sort this"), leaving the two young staff to deal with things...although they were great bless them...trying to cover for their managers behaviour. "Really sorry, we don't know where she's gone; we think she's gone home!". But worse was to come a couple of hours later. Popped in to use the loo after the footy tournament, & for using the loo as a non-customer, but verbally replying that I was a customer earlier & had got terrible service..when I left the loo I was confronted in the car park at the rear by the manager, & her boyfriend or brother or business partner (he seemed pretty rational to be fair), & accused of saying the most outrageous things that id apparently said i was going to do inside the loo, re what I was going to wipe over the walls !!!, things too explicit to repeat & post within a review! Thank god the kids weren't next to me to witness the manager repeating what I had NOT said, & using the F words at me! Horrendous experience. Shame. The drinks earlier weren't too bad 😬

Shocked at the service received today, very aggressive member of staff not only rude and dismissive to me, but very confrontational to a young member of staff who works there. There was a lot of forceful banging on the wall which was strange to say the least. After almost 15 minutes waiting to get a take away coffee I asked for a refund and left. Quite shocking behaviour witnessed and I am glad to not have given them my money.

It’s extremely over priced anyway but to then worked it out and realised they over charged me. Won’t bother going back it’s not worth the high prices.

Just visited the Brunch Club as a group of 6. Firstly we were greeted in a good manner which sadly is where the good things ended. The coffee was cold, the hot chocolate was served as a mess with the cream completely running down the mugs. 5 of the meals were ok, with the 6th meal, eggs benni being raw. The eggs were so undercooked I couldn’t bear to even look at them. We complained to the two young girls, and they just laughed at us, didn’t remove the plate and just continued to giggle. One of our party removed the plate and put it on the side, and the girls again, just laughed. No offer to replace my breakfast, no apologies, absolutely nothing. This should have been a lovely family breakfast, but ruined, not by the badly cooked eggs, but the shocking service we received. Sort your service out

My experience here was extremely disappointing. It took 1 hour for us to receive our glasses of tap water, and when they arrived our glasses were dirty, see image attached. The waiter brought the wrong food to our table and we had to enquire where our food was multiple times as they forgot. Overall the service was shocking and I would never visit this establishment again.

Waited an hour on my own for a double sausage, egg and cheese sandwich. 2 tables of 4 got their food before me. 2 tables walked out due to the long wait and when I asked a staff member how long my food would be they said no clue and walked away. I got the food to take out instead as I was very disappointed with the wait. Will not be returning

We were recommended the place by staff in morrisons , they were not serving a full breakfast at the time but had perhaps one of the best bacon and sausage buns ever ..will be going back when over the bridge , and most certainly far better than the food on the ferry :)

Called in the Bruch Club in Brough this morning, Monday 24/01/2023. The waitress service was slow but she was very nice. I ordered Coffee and Porched Eggs on toast. The table tops are disgusting, deep open crack full of crumbs and bit of food. The music was heavy rock and far to loud, very annoying The service was very slow, waited far to long. The coffee arrived overflowing the cup drenching the 2 packs of sugar, very nice coffee thou. When the eggs on toast arrived, one of the eggs was under cooked, and snotty. What terrible experience. When I went to pay I was told cash only, this is not acceptable, I had to leave and go to a cash machine, call back to pay. Overall what a horrible experience, would I go back again? never, never, never. Sort the table tops out.

The second time I’ve had food from here first time was take out but this time I took my parents and we did a late booking to eat in, they were very accommodating and the food was nothing but amazing. Great service amazing staff happy new year everyone.

Food was delicious and staff friendly but we were disappointed to see, when the kitchen door was left open, a member of staff vaping. Not appropriate in a food preparation area.

unfortunately didn’t get to try the food after driving half an hour to get there. When getting there there was one table free, the girl serving simply said “that tables booked” and nothing else. We asked if any tables were coming free and she said she didn’t know. There was no offer to sit outside with a coffee and wait for a table or giving a time frame of when a table might come free. A very “tough tits” attitude. So we turned round and left, obviously don’t need our custom.

Good food, although it is overpriced compared to other breakfast places. Staff were nice but just slow when it came to service. Ended up getting food before knives and forks and then had to go up and ask for cutlery after waiting a few minutes without them, asked for water and it didn’t come with the drinks, asked for sauces and they weren’t brought over at all. Been to a few of these franchises but this one stood out. The girl that served us I'd seen a few times at another branch and she's great at what she does. Professional and friendly. Food, it's good, if I had any criticism on the food here, and it's not this branch it looks like the whole franchise do it, its due be its very peppery, and I don't like Pepper that much so instead of going here weekly with the family we just go occasionally. The pepper being the sole reason we don't go weekly. So if you like pepper in everything, then you can't go wrong. This place rocks.

Really wanted to love a brunch here but sadly waited far too long for our order to be taken , when eventually asked , my friend and I both ordered a coffee and a breakfast dish - the coffee took soooooo long to arrive ….. 20 minutes !!!! On to the food , again the wait stupidly long for the amount of people in , also we saw the two other tables who arrived after us being served a long time before us . Food nice enough - eggs Benedict cooked nicely however , stone cold which made me wonder if it had been sat on the counter a long time . Very disappointing overall and a shame because with a bit of customer service it would have been a different story . If the coffee machine breaks go and tell your customer , don’t leave them to think they’ve been forgotten. Feels like no one cared . Thumbs down 👎🏼

We Reserved a table & it was well handled. Our drinks order was taken & delivered quickly but the food was so slow to come - nearly half an hour. They were super busy & working hard tho, with customers sitting outside and inside. We liked the concept of a brunch place. The menu was comprehensive. Food was ok but our bacon and that of other customers was very over cooked. The menu said ‘salmon’ but smoked salmon was served. Every dish had bread - no carb free choices but that was ok, we just left the bread. The main reason we’d not go back was the noise level - Wooden floors & tables, machines making hot drinks & smoothies & bizarrely loud rock music. The music didn’t seem to fit the place either - surely something more middle of the road would reflect the customer base better.

I've attended a few times now during the week with business clients/potential clients and not been disappointed. Whether it just for coffee, a late breakfast or meetings over lunch this place is perfect, staff are quick and efficient taking orders and checking if everything is okay. Location is easy to access and has parking just outside. And the chef accommodates any food requests (I always ask for burnt bacon!)

I took my mom here to cheer her up after a hospital appointment. She has had no appetite for a while now but had a good go with her chicken waffle burger. Beautiful sourced ingredients from high end companies. The breakfast was the best breakfast you’ll eat for £11.00 not pricey at all as some would say. If you appreciate quality food it has to be tried! Certainly will be back to try more from the menu. Well done All at the Brunch Club.

Second time of visiting and was not disappointed. Being a bank holiday we booked in advance, the table was available, clean and clearly marked. Staff were attentive and polite. Food and drink was prepared promptly and the menu is extensive and caters for a wide range of tastes. None of the party had any particular dietary requirements though, so this can't be commented on. We had the waffle burger stack and the Mexican eggs beni. So much flavour and fresh ingredients. The coffee is great too! We will be back.

I have to say on the whole after a few orders and visits the food has been very good, although the poached eggs on the last order were inedible due to excessive vinegar. The delivery service however is poor to say the least! You go through the hassle of choosing and placing your order including paying for it, only to get a text back cancelling your order saying they are unable to deliver, this is the third time now!!! On one occasion I was called 15 mins before my order was due to ask me to collect as they could no longer deliver it! Why offer a delivery option when you can’t deliver!!! A customer reviews you on the whole package and sadly yours is lacking which is such a shame…

Shocking Service ....waited 45 minutes for an Americano, 2nd drink did not arrive for another 5 minutes! Food arrived an hour after we arrived .....which is a long time for a bacon and egg butty! Excellent quality food from top notch delicious yellow eggs perfectly poached, crispy high end bacon and sausages to write home about! All locally sourced- so good to hear these days.
