Browns is a very beautiful building. Has been done up so well. The atmosphere was very relaxed and friendly. I had amazing service from start to finish. The food is of very high quality. There was no rush in between each course that we had. I can not fault the service

Had a lovely time, at an event booking one of the larger rooms onbthe 2nd floor!

We booked a private dining room for our university reunion. The food and drink was fantastic but what really made it special was the superb attentive service. The team could not have been nicer. Every single one greeted you with a smile. Excellent. Thank you

Nice ambience in the bar and restaurant. Lively but not too loud, food tasty and well cooked. Staff were friendly and attentive whilst looking after our table of 11.

Brought clients from USA who had never had a British afternoon tea. We were treated royally, and a special shout out for Jay who provided excellent service ,genuine hospitality and humour, he knew how to read clients and look after us all very well indeed. As a local, I was very impressed with the quality of the afternoon tea offering, which compares favourably to many hotels, but at a far better price point, and better service. I'll certainly bring more of my clients!!

Absolutely recommend this place. Fabulous food and the most wonderful waitress called Vida. She went out of her way to make our experience special. She bought up a lovely Happy Birthday and celebration plate and sang Happy Birthday to me. An absolute asset to this lovely place.

Fantastic meal for 2 again , chateaubriand was cooked to perfection , Sergio our waiter was extremely friendly and helpful will def be back soon .

Organised a private dining event here and had a great experience! The venue was lovely, the staff were accommodating, and the service was excellent. Despite a small mix-up with the food timing, they were quick to resolve it and even gave us a discount. Highly recommend for any private events!

We celebrated my sisters 16th birthday here - it was quite crowded in London that day but as soon was we walked in it was a great atmosphere for a calm afternoon tea in a secluded part of Browns. The food was great and just the sizes and amounts of food for satisfaction but leaving without feeling stuffed. The quality was outstanding and we were very pleased with the service too, our waitress was Anna and she really added value to our afternoon also keeping in mind our allergies and arranging a little surprise for my sister. Thanks to the chefs and Anna for this lovely afternoon and can only recommend!

I went there today for breakfast, and it was excellent, a lovely ambiance and interior. The staff were incredibly friendly and handled a very demanding couple who had just arrived and insisted on having breakfast served within 15-20 minutes due to a meeting. The wife then requested the music be turned down and inquired about the healthy options on the menu. If you're in a hurry it's best to check the menu beforehand, or go elsewhere like Pret around the corner and pick something ready made and off the shelf. The waiter managed the situation exceptionally well. I opted for the traditional breakfast, which was cooked to perfection. I would have been happy to give a gratuity when paying by card at the end, but I wasn’t given that option, and unfortunately, I didn’t have any cash on me. I would definitely visit again.

We had a rocky start at first when they couldn’t get our table even though we booked ,but as soon as we got sat down our lovely waiter Panagis made our experience brilliant! We had seen a show before hand and he started singing along with us , he made sure we were happy and was very polite . The food was quick and amazing. We loved it!

Our waitress, Ada, was a kind person —attentive, friendly, and welcoming. She made great recommendations and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The food was delicious, with a variety of flavors that truly impressed. Overall, I highly recommend Brown restaurant.

I recently had a fantastic lunch at Browns Convent Garden with my brother. We both opted for the sirloin steak, and it was absolutely delicious. The meat was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, with a perfect sear on the outside Our waitress, Ada, was incredibly friendly and attentive. She made our dining experience enjoyable and memorable. Her recommendations were spot on, and she ensured that our needs were met throughout our meal. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great steak and excellent service

We chose Browns as there was a great offer wing for the gluten free tea. Sneha was prompt and came back to check on us often.

We had dinner post show with friends and everything from the drinks to dinner and service was just wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The only thing that took from the experience was that my friend left her glasses behind in the booth (special glasses for glaucoma) and they didn't turn up subsequently. We rang within an hour and followed that up with another call and dropping in the see had they turned up but no joy.

Vida was super helpful she was very conscientious about my friend’s gluten free orders too which is always appreciated! We had a lovely relaxed evening, tasty food thank you Browns.

Had a pre show meal here, first visit but will definitely go again. Nice ambiance - great service - excellent food, we had their renowned fish pie. Fish content superb, Salmon - prawns - scallops 👌👌

We all really loved the interior, decor and atmosphere. Reception and service were great too - friendly and professional. However the food was below expectations. The vegetarian salad was mostly a handful of kale, there were about 3 cubes of avocado and 3 of mango. £15 for that as a main course was hugely disappointing. The schnitzel was overwhelmingly lemon flavoured. And the side salad with tomatoes was bland. The shepherd's pie was delicious after 10 minutes when it was cool enough not to burn the mouth.

The place is amazing! We came here to have a brunch and to celebrate my 30th birthday! Raj was so attentive and nice with all of us! She is a 10!! We recommend it 100% 😊

Went with a large group booked in advance and apart from a couple of misunderstandings they coped admirably. But the food was excellent and most of the staff had a sense of humour which smoothed out the wrinkles. The place looks the part and seating was comfortable with individual tables and booth style seating.

It has been a great experience having breakfast at this place. Rah advised us what to order and was very friendly!

We looked forward to our dinner at Browns Covent Garden. The reviews were excellent, the hosts friendly; a lovely atmosphere, the perfect setting. Ordered a cocktail. Surprised when waiter asked if I wanted a single or double. The single turned out to be a short pour. After 30 minutes, asked the waiter how our meal was coming. He said he’d check, and a few minutes later, voila, an entree (roasted cod), two appetizers (salt & pepper squid and scallops with pancetta) and a side of broccoli, arrived. All were barely warm. Waiter disappeared, would ordinarily send the entire meal back but given how long it took to get cold food, we didn’t want to wait for them to try again. We hoped for a fine dining experience. Browns failed in the most important category — a hot, tasty dinner.
