Vida Excellent friendly service.Would highly recommend

I went for an afternoon tea with my family and it was absolutely fantastic. Good value for money and the staff was so lovely and attentive. The afternoon tea was delicious and we appreciated the refill of our teapot. The little salmon and prawns brioches were delicious and the scones were absolutely yummy.

Had a lovely birthday celebration here. Camambert to start and shared a fabulous Chateaubriand beautiful cooked and served. Thank you to our server Panagis who looked after us very well. He shared some jokes with us and was very friendly and patient when I couldn't remember my pin number! He sang happy birthday to me and brought me a surprise desert! Lovely evening, thank you. The food was amazing but attention to detail was lacking. The champagne that we ordered wasn't as cold as it should of been, and we had to wait 25 minutes for the bill. Also, the visit was to celebrate a special birthday and a friend celebrating a citizenship. None of this was mentioned and we didn't get anything at the table, which we would of got from other restaurants.

Our experience was lovely and the service we received was very good.

Used to be the place where all good nights start and end... Haven't been here for a good 10 years but what a disappointment. Bar staff were inattentive and unfriendly. No atmosphere. Felt like we were intruding. Restaurant service was good but food overpriced and not worth the price tag at all. All in all the whole experience was nowhere near worth the £250 spent!!!All good things clearly come to an end at some point.

Great place! Lovely atmosphere! Wouldn’t be the same without panagis. Will be back soon!

To be honest it is a nice place, but the service is just too slow. From waiting to get a table to waiting for food. For a place in the middle of the center it should be faster.

We had a lovely time here! Food was terrific. The atmosphere for brunch was great. Sergio our waiter was attentive and very nice.

Firstly, a glass of champagne for my birthday followed by another for having registered in mid March! Due to my being on crutches our table for 4 was moved to a corner, semi booth table for safety. And it was quieter! The staff were great, the food was excellent and our being there from 12:30 until 16:30 was not a problem, especially as we only get to meet up every 4 months. So thank you.

Had a lovely late dinner with great food but mostly because of the amazing service by our waiter Aditya.

We visited on 04/14/24 and were greeted by an unfriendly hostess who seemed to be bothered. We requested a booth and the hostess became even more rude. Once seated our waiter seemed confused and would disappear then come back and take forever to bring drinks. We then requested bottled water and were given large 32 liter bottles without glasses. Again he was nowhere to be found so we waited to ask for glasses. The atmosphere was nice and the bartender was friendly. The food was good but the staff ruined our visit.

Wonderful food & wonderfully, friendly service. Maybe one thing to improve would be that we ordered wine and there was some confusion over who was bringing it. We had to ask where it was and then two waiters turned up with a bottle and glasses. Not a huge issue and it didn’t impact the evening at all.

Aditya was an incredible server. He was so kind and attentive and went above and beyond when he realised it was my parents birthday. Give that man a raise!!

We went for lunch on Saturday with our three year old. There was an excellent selection of food choices. Our waitress, Vida, was amazing. Our daughter was grumpy and she continually tried cheering her up and making her smile. It made the experience a bit more relaxing, as we weren’t stressing about our daughter. The food was very tasty and came out quickly. We would definitely recommend this place.

Friendly service, a bit slow on Saturday evening with staff seeming a bit overloaded. A reasonable food range and good range of drinks. Food all very tasty and good cocktails.

An elegant spot for a lovely lunch/reunion. Our waiter was exemplary and the food delicious. Reasonably priced for a London venue. My main of Pork Belly with cinnamon and maple syrup was cooked to perfection. Melt in the mouth and accompanied by sage mash, buttered greens and crackling. £19.95. We arrived at 12pm and didn't leave until almost 5pm. Fortunately the table wasn't needed until then, but at no time were we made to feel we had outstayed our welcome which was lovely as we had 10 years to catch up on!

4 minutes late for the 4:45 p.m. appointment and you can forget about the afternoon. So be there 15 minutes in advance, time to queue at reception. We left to go to Caffé Concerto.

Did a reservation for an afternoon tea at 4:45pm. Arriving at 4:47pm and they told us the afternoon tea is closed. Be aware if you wanna experience the afternoon tea to arrive really before or you’ll just not be received - even thought they wrote on the website they can hold the table for you for 15min. We just left without nothing.

Have had a great meal at Browns the Restaurant served by the lovely Vida our favourite waitress. See you again next time.

I still like browns, but food took a long time to arrive esp that we had children with us. Chicken was very dry. Not the browns I remember

I visited here in a group . A room they prepared is very crowded and no air ventilation. Finally i and my friend need to sit infront of a toilet. A food courses are bad taste. Be careful. !!!

Do not get the steak frites! Honestly full of pure oil it was disgusting! I asked for medium and almost choked I was chewing for ages, the chips was the best part of the whole meal, the pie on the lunch menu was lovely though.

Another lovely evening at Browns Covent Garden for dinner and drinks. Service from all staff - especially our waiter Dharma - was impeccable, very friendly and knowledgeable. Food and drinks were all very good, the crab and prawn linguine was very nice. Great location and ambience, good food and staff, I wish more restaurants in London were like this.

I had booked a table for 18 people at the Covent Garden restaurant to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday. Our table was set up early and in an undisturbed area of the restaurant. Due to our party size, we had pre-ordered our food. Our waiter, Alessandro, worked tirelessly to ensure we had everything we needed & took great care to ensure any allergy or intolerance issues were also dealt with, along with the requirements of the vegetarian & vegan members of our party. His charming & helpful demeanor really helped make our experience extra special! All food courses arrived in a timely manner - no mean feat with a booking of our number, & was absolutely delicious. I cannot recommend this particular venue more highly to anyone and you may be fortunate enough to be served by Alessandro as well!

Nice location, surroundings and service. We were not hassled to move on despite lingering for quite a while. The food and drinks were excellent.

Great food, only downside was it was a long wait between starters and mains and we had theatre tickets, so we’re getting a little anxious that we wouldn’t be out in time and had to prompt the waitress.

We had a wonderful time at Brown’s Covent Garden. We had a pre dinner drink in Spey’s and then had dinner downstairs in the restaurant. It was delicious although service was quite slow. Good value and beautiful setting. Food and drinks both exceptional. Thank you.

Had a working lunch with a colleaguevat this lovely restaurant. We spent a good 2 1/2 hours and were well looked after. The prawn salad was delicious and my medium rare steak was done to perfection. We had drinks spread across the time we were at our table and there was plenty of room to work on phones and laptops. The chairs were comfortable and the decor and lighting tasteful. The staff were all polite smiley and so helpful. I use Browns often to meet clients when working in London. I am a Coeliac and they have a seperate menu and knowledgeable staff. I love their Gluten free cooked breakfast.

We came for Afternoon Tea it was fantastic and such great value for money. I have been to many afternoon teas including the Ritz, Waldorf, Clarridges, Theo Fennell and many more yours was the best compilation and value for money. I will definitely be back.

Loud, dirty and disappointed. Staff were lovely but food was beyond awful and it was £100 expecting a lot more for our money. They did replace the uncooked / burnt chicken meal but it was still burnt. No butter or dipping oil with the starter as advertised. AVOID. Chips weren’t even nice, crumpet with the crab was cold and not enjoyable. Tap water jug was very dirty and we wasn’t offered it from the beginning not something you’d expecting in an expensive restaurant. Waitresses were lovely just a shambles of a place.
