We were staying at broom fisheries campsite. The cafe open 08:00-16:00. We had breakfast there and were very happy. The food was all made to order, it was hot and good quality- we'd never had lorne sausage (apologies if that's the wrong spelling), but wow was it nice. The lady who runs the cafe is very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. So Much so that we had breakfast there on our second day too before departing. The cakes too were fantastic! All homemade.. mmm. The cafe hasn't been open long but if your in the area it's well worth the visit.

Anyone know what has happened to this company? It had rave reviews, I had friends who had ordered from them but poof they now cease to exist. No media explanation. Web site closed with no message. Very odd as they seemed to be doing a roaring trade.

Great wee cafe in the centre of Dumfries and my go-to place for a morning coffee. More character than all the other "chain" establishments in town put together. Table service. Dog friendly. Lovely staff. What's not to like 👍
