Tried tonight very nice large fish cooked fresh very tasty chips will recommend

The sausage tasted rubbery, the fish was soggy, the batter on the sausage tasted stale like it was cooked the day before. They used to be good at 1 time but now they have gone downhill.

Reasonable price, reasonable food, reasonable portions, lovely owners.

I can't believe the reviews for this place, respectfully. The chips were absolutely vile and filled with grease, kind of like biting into extremely damp cardboard. They were flavourless. The pot of curry sauce was equally as disgusting. The sauce was watery and had absolutely no taste whatsoever. I couldn't finish either of them, they were really, really bad. Delivery was fine as per usual, but that's probably the only positive thing I can say.

Normally really nice but tonight Chips and kebab were cold the pittas were all ripped so couldn’t even pick them up. The bag of chips was cold and hard not good at all tonight

The pizzas are so nice from here I prefer them to any others I’ve eaten.

Roe was burnt the chips were hard and cold and the sausage in batter was too. It must have been left waiting for driver cus was 20 mins late too

The food was even edible. I had to throw it away, it was a waste of money.

Kebab was like rubber hardly any chicken in the mixed meat no option of sauce , naan bread tasted horrible and smelled like a it had been covered in stagnant water will not order again

This was probably the nicest and hottest food we have had up to yet. Chips were even really hot 👍

Very disappointed tonight the pasty was over cooked and I’ve told them before that they keep over cooking them in the microwave and the chips weren’t that good either . Standards have dropped don’t bother wasting your money

The chips were nice but had green in a few of them.Curry sauce was runny but nice.Saveloi sausage was abit watery.Overall pretty nice.

I hope that the owner of the Broadway fish and chip shop read these comments . If you look at the comments from a year ago it was all five star amazing food . But not now it's like you don't care anymore. The cleanliness quality and portion size has declined over the year such shame sorry you have gone from 5 to 1

We will never order from the Broadway fish bar again. We had a large fish and chips tonight and it was enough to feed a child. We went back in and complained and were told that was what a large fish and chips was. Very disappointed!! They were amazing when they first opened and the portions were great, but the standards and sizes have definitely dropped massively. 😥😥😥

they stated that have cola with a meal choice and I was given Pepsi max instead! big difference in drinks

This was the first time we had been there after receiving a flyer and recommended by my daughter. We were very pleased with the fish which was cooked fresh and we had battered chips. We will be going back again.

Battered sausage was cold the chips were dry and not even proper chips they were like the last scraps. Donner meat was cold. Normally it’s lovely but not tonight. Delivery driver is always friendly and polite

Ordered pizza half pepperoni half hawaiian but pizza was covered in hawaiian and just added pepperoni on top, also had mushrooms on it for some reason. Both xl pizzas was smothered in cheese and when I say smothered all you can taste was the cheese. Chips was 6 out of 10 at best Polite friendly service and quick delivery so gave 2 stars for that. Won't be reordering from here. I would say only order if you love your cheese and want pizza with surprise toppings!

Use them quite regular but today every meal was awful chips tasted like they had been there for ages, it came an hour after after the given time so waited 2 hours for our food and the food was cold

An average Fish and Chip shop, cooked while you wait. Delivery service is available. Pleasant staff, on site takeaway take time as everything cooked to order. No eat in facilities.

pies were rock hard and no meat in them the gravey and curry sauce was so lumpy that you could not eat them chips were cold and greasy won't be ordering from here again if I could leave no stars i would

Food was inedible. My partner had 1 Pcs chicken. It was so overcooked, dry and in-edible to the point they had to spit it out. I had a basic cheeseburger. Half of it burnt and tastes cheap. Chips were ok I guess but a tad on the cold side. The gravy helped heat them up a bit. The only good thing about the order was the gravy but again, was quite watery but still tasted ok. Will maybe give another try I’m sure in the future as mistakes happen, just hope for much better if there’s a next time.

You don’t have to go to Brixham to get great fish and chips, just head straight to Broadway Fish Bar and get that seaside takeaway experience. Flaky white cod in a perfect crispy batter and superb chips , fluffy inside and cooked to perfection. The Mediterranean Chicken kebab is a first for me and is a great tasting, lower fat option to the doner kebab. Support your local chippy but it’s worth travelling for this too or getting delivery. Best chippy around in my humble opinion

It was good quality when they first took over.. last few times of using I thought the quality was dropping..mini fish today was thin and mostly batter, cold chips. Bushbury lane in future

Awful! Ordered large cod and chips, small fish cold nasty tasting chips

We had the large fish and chips special, fish was a large piece all piping hot.

Good tasty food and was still hot when arrived on time. Will order again in 2 weeks for a work order

About 1.5 hours for delivery then it was cold . Disappointed as usually food is lovely

So disappointed this time ! Ordered a large chips got a small (they did taste ok) Wouldn’t even feed 2 people . Ordered a large donner meat in Nan got chicken which was rock solid and same again the portion was tiny for the price ! Fish was like it had been put back in the oil to heat up was really dark and soggy .. ended up in bin and had to order from somewhere else

We waiting 2 hours for delivery from time of order when the original estimated time was 40 mins. When the Food did eventually arrive the salad and sauces were missing from the kebabs. Food was only just warm. The wrong drink was also sent with the order. Needed more Salt and vinegar on chips as they were bland. Overall we didn't have great service unfortunately.

Plastered chilli all over my food when I asked for it instead of hot sauce so wanted it in a pot went in the bin

my kebab was extremely undercooked, looked like it was cooked on a radiator i had to put it straight in the bin.

Fish and chips usually nice from her, but not so tonight, peas got to much water no taste. Also take note if you buy a fish box or any box with peas or curry and have it in a separate tub rather than tipped over you are charged for a separate pot, so fish box would be £4.95 Plus 90p for the peas although the picture on wall and in new menu shows them in pot I’ve just been charged £5.85 for a £4.95 meal

Delivered on time but an hour and a half delivery for a chip shop tea that is only 5 mins drive away is too long. Food was only luke warm but chips were stone cold. I ordered a large fish, you can't call it a large, the fillet inside the batter was only an inch wide at it's widest point. Beef burger was cheap quality and overcooked on a stale bun. Kebab naan was nice though although only luke warm.

Food is lovely, just wish it wouldn't take so long for delivery, food is warm not hot.that is the only gripe.

Food was just ok , not sure I’d order again chips were a bit soggy. They forgot to put in my drink too . Prices are reasonable though compared to most places out there. Took quite a while from ordering to delivery so if your hungry maybe just go and collect.

First time using Broadway fish bar, we will be back fish was nice and fresh,I had a small cod n chips just the right portion size for me.hubby had the large version both enjoyed it.

It's been a long time since I visited here. It was very busy (always a good sign), and picked up tinned roe, mini fish special, Beef & Onion Pie and chips. Very impressed and will definitely return when around that way again.

Came here last week and it was the nicest food from a chip shop I've had in ages! Service was great, very friendly staff! Can pay cash or card. The meal boxes were great and amazing value for money! Had a chicken burger with chips and Pepsi which was lovely and the fish and chips were great too! Massive portions of fish and chips. Ended up keeping some chips and freezing them. Lovely orange chips! Will definitely be back soon! 😊

Normally the food is fantastic, last night I must have ordered on an off night as it wasn't nice. I will order again as I know all food places can have bad nights. Normally the food is 10/10.

The food and service is fantastic, the delivery driver is so polite and thoughtful, even when my son has been in the shop, OUTSTANDING. 😁😁
