Staveley Chippy in Wolverhampton

The till workers got an attitude towards you if you’re not one of their people. Been served cold nans while their people get fresh one all the time . Food portions are smaller and it lacks meat

They advertise lamb wraps, but they never have them. This is my third time coming here. I was here before with a friend, and when he asked for a lamb wrap, the staff started shouting in a different language and angrily banging pots and pans, as they had to make them from scratch

The guy with long beard attitude ain’t good with customers. I recommend for family and friends not to attend here because there don’t show respect toward people.

Had a lamb kebab sandwich from here. It was like the standard doner types , but the meat was so much better (fat on the top of the elephants foot , that drizzled down over it as it rotates on the grill which adds flavour) the bread was toasted and worked well with meat , veg and sauces. The sandwich price was £3.50 , so not bad either. There is quite a lot of Middle Eastern type food here on offer , which I would try , if I go back and also standard chip shop food , if that is what you prefer , but I can't add a review about the chip shop food because I didn't have any.......maybe next time

Terrible never ever even think about this place.

Me and my family had food here. Very clean restaurant, lovely & helpful staff. Chips are out of this world, definitely nowhere else better round here for chips. Food was hot & delicious & fresh. Genuinely nothing to fault.

"The Stavley chippy used to be fantastic, but now it's just average. The price of £4.50 for regular chips is too high considering the quantity. However, I still have a fondness for them. Unfortunately, the staff seems unenthusiastic and focused solely on making money. Their lack of gratitude towards customers and the cramped space combined with high prices make it quite expensive. Although I believe it's a decent chip shop, the prices have become outrageous. It would be great if they could adjust their prices to make it more affordable, considering that not everyone has a lot of money. Perhaps setting the price for regular chips at £3.50 or £2.50 and the large chips at £6 would be a fair and average price for a chip shop. As for sauces like curry sauce, a 50p charge, depending on the size, would be appropriate."

Absolutely terrible they have reopened after a long refurb and they dont even sell chips no more the new workers just keep saying tomorrow they will be on and never happens. They have made it to fit in with the area and now serve different food but still named Staveley chippy. DO NOT USE THIS IS NO MORE ITS NOT A LOCAL CHIP SHOP MO RE LIKE A KURDISH SANDWICH SHOP

Excellent service, fresh and delicious food

I went to the last Wolves game today and shopped at this place and the food was delicious.

Shuts at 10:30, got there at 9:45. They only had a portion of chips, 2 dried up sausages and a couple of greasy scallops. Was gonna have the chips but they don't take cards. Be prepared to have cash ready to buy your rank looking food from here. Unbelievable.

I dont know what to say I have been going there for so many years and now it's just getting worse you ask for chicken burger they give you cheeseburger you ask to put salad on it they put a lots of onions 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Excellent fish and chips; made freshly to order and give massive portions. They were really helpful with the order and put good coverage of salt and vinegar and gave good customer service. Would highly recommend. I ordered 5 mini fish and chips. Photo of how it looked.

Disgusting response, food ordered threw just eat ,came up delivered, rang to say hasn't been received, to be told someone from just eat collected it,if you haven't received its not our problem and we haven't got details for any drivers sorry, just lost big business from another local business, will never trust this place again

Always good food but had to wait a long time for chips and missed kick off to match

I put in an order on Just Eat for delivery but when it went through it had adjusted to collection. As I was unable to collect and I know delivery is free anyway I immediately rang the restaurant to ask if it could either be delivered or be cancelled and I'd put the order through again as a delivery order. The man on the phone argued with me that I must collect it now and said if I didn't collect it he will keep my money. I said, so you're robbing me? To which he replied yes and hung up. Absolutely disgusted by this.

Scollops were not ready so the young counter assistant kindly let me have a small portion of chips for a £1. Not a bad fish and chip shop with vfm prices

Iv had a burger twice at this shop. And it's the best cooked, freshest bap, salad to perfection highly recommend this shop. I travel to get a burger here, because its delicious. Cant fault it thankyou

This is supposed to be 'fast food' but they hardly ever have fish cooked even on a friday night ,u can be waiting over 10-15 mins.

Had savaloy and chips and got food poisoning and the chips was soggy

This is a Halal take away, also mentioned inside the shop. Had chicken wrap which was tasty, fresh and large quantity. Value for money... Not much verity...

I thought I would try some fish and chips on my way to Molineux on Tuesday. Absolutely vile. The chips were cooked in stale oil, and the smell was rancid. £5.40 for disgusting fish and chips. Never again.
