Julu 24. Very disappointed ☹️. Fish was under cooked and raw in side. Sausage was inedible and raw. Chips were all stuck together in 1 big ball. What's more disappointing is that I popped in on Tuesday after work to tell them and a young lad just listened and repeated what I said. No apologies or refund/next time deal offered. Shame because I go here a lot as it's usually excellent. Unfortunately we threw the food out to the birds before taking photos. Dec 22. Mixed meat tray. Mixed salad tray. We put this in wraps at home and managed 4 meals having 2 wraps each. 4 meals (8 wraps) for £10.10 + £1 for the wraps. Delicious. Oct 22. Mixed meat, mixed salad. Omg. Amazing quality and quantity. Such an amazing chippy! Best I have ever been too, nothing is ever too much trouble, always so polite and caring even close to closing. They remember you as well making you feel completely welcomed and cared for, as someone with anxiety, and not liking to inconvenience people, they are so patient and understanding. Can't recommend enough!!!

This takeaway shop offers excellent quality food, but can get quite busy during dinner hours, requiring a bit of a wait in queue. The polite and helpful staff make the experience much more enjoyable, and the prices are fair. However, it's worth noting that the car park in front of the shop is limited. Overall, it's a great place to grab a quick and satisfying meal.

I have a gluten allergy that I told them when placing my order on a delivery app , a lady rang me to adjust my order as I was unaware the mayo and Donna meat had gluten! Absolutely outstanding service ! The food was spot on and delicious 😋 thanks to her I enjoyed my meal without a bad tum ! I can’t recommend this shop enough Darren

The large fish didn't disappoint, really well cooked (to order). Good selection of the usual chippy fare, plus doner, SF chicken, potato wedges, and spam fritters (winner).

It's first time got fish from here. was really delicious and portion size really generous.

They really looked after us here. Good quality chips, the mushy pea fritter is definitely worth a look and they were dead sound with my little lad.

Avoid. Zero stars. Disgusting food. Will never over from here again. Mayonnaise tasted off. More watery white cabbage than actual kebab meat. Kebab meat was also gross, burnt in places and dry. The food was freezing cold. My husband meat and chicken was like it was dropped on the floor and put in a box. Both kebabs were thrown in the bin.

I'm very very disappointed with my food I had tonight. Donner meat was full of gritty bones, nana bread stale, the only thing that was nice was chips. Never used to be this poor in there food deffo gone downhill. Will not be returning

Nice friendly staff, always have food ready and a wide choice on the menu,and very reasonably priced.

Ordered my food got home and the young lady forgot to put my two small peas in not a big problem. Asked for just lettuce and onions with salt on my son's kebab meal and she put mayo on it a waste of £7 as my son doesn't like mayo will not be using again when they can't follow simple instructions

The fires is the only thing that's worth it but anything else is crime, how could I pay £4.20 for 1 piece chicken and chips with donner meat, only to get the doner reduced and when I asked why the employer said "that's how it is boss" so I told him to make another one but this time buying attention to how much doner his putting in and was shocked to find out that he only put 2 slices and checked with his superior only for him to agree aswell. WORST PLACE EVER, THEY BASICALLY ROB YOU FOR FREE.

Easily the best chippy I have ever been too. For my meal. The fried chicken meal with a portion of gravy was more than I could manage and by far the best fried chicken I have had. That includes the KFC a few doors down. The gravy was exactly how I like it slightly thicker and full of flavour so clearly not a cheap packet job. The only negative was the halloumi burger my wife had. Was nice enough however it seemed to lack some flavour. We are used to grilled halloumi so that may have been a factor but I personally think this might be improved by frying the halloumi on a grill to really keep that squeeky cheese flavour that we love... Was just our personal opinion though and the rest of our food was absolutely perfect. Thanks so much and we'll be back again.

Little bit disapointed this time around. Usally fab always plenty but was not happy with portion size. Had 2 ask if there was fresh chips as chips were not the best. I was told there wasn't any at 1st but then was told they would be a few mins after the 1st lot of food was done. I ended up waiting which wasn't a problem becuase I would not of eaten the 1st lot. Small portion sizes compared 2 normal. Not all that impressed this time around.

Another perfect cod n chips !!! Usually have a chicken kebab which are lush....but the cod was fresh...chunky big fillet...crispy batter... Efcharisto!!!!

Fish and chips were fairly good, one of the best we have had for a while. Staff were welcoming. Very safe, hand sanitiser available and staff wore masks. Best hygiene we have seen. Large window opens on outside so you don't have to go in shop, you could order and wait in your car and collect from window. Other shops could take note.

Great portions and best sausages and fish I've had from any chippy.

Nipped in for a chippy tea and was greeted by a lovely lady behind the counter even with everything thats going on with Covid and they have had to introduce screens and a couple of customers in at a time she still was very jolly. All measures are in place to keep the staff and customers safe also the chips were mighty tasty too.

When I'm in the area I occasionally treat myself to a mixed kebab which is always 5 star! The lamb kebab and the chicken kebab is the best. With lots of offers on the menu and good variety. This chip shop never fails with good reasonable prices it definitely deserves 5 stars.

Me and my daughter use the chip shop we love there pea fritters and it’s reasonably priced, staff are pleasant and friendly love there sausage chips and peas and are quite good portions of food worth the money high recommended
