Can’t complain about service as friendly staff, however food was not appealing at all. First breakfast that was sent out was not hot food serving tempature which is 63 degrees 2nd try, plate came out hot which seems as if it was thrown in microwave to make hotter, Bacon was tasteless and could put a window out. Portion of beans may aswell said no beans. Scrambled egg tastes like was made in microwave and no seasoning at all was just bland. As a trained chef I would be disappointed to send out food like that.

Kids meals came with missing corn, they’ve missed an adults meal off and didn’t give us a receipt when we paid. The children Mac and cheese is just pasta with grated cheese. The children popcorn came burnt. The double classic burger was like cardboard, The place is a shambles! Avoid at all cost. They was an hour wait with out even telling people they was a wait for food

Quite busy and good atmosphere and well presented but unfortunately the service by the staff is reasonable and they are very polite but unfortunately not enough staff. There is a good amount of choice on the menu but what arrives is disappointing, cold or slightly under or over cooked. This venue takes advantage of its location and constant flow of new customers but this on Havens part is disrespectful to their customers. If the venue is owned and ran by Heaven they need to address the issues and if it is not but is business that leases the venue they need to set out a policy to ensure customers receive a adequate service on their holiday.

Food arrived stone cold, paying nearly £14 for a breakfast which arrived freezing, no communication from staff about certain items not being available or even asking if the substitute is okay or not. Very poor quality. Very poor service. The staff are not helpful nor even approachable when attempting to speak to them you get shrugged off. Got given hot drinks in “take away cups” where the server then proceeded to laugh that they had no cups available. Will not be coming here again. Very very unhappy about this place and the price I’ve paid for something which quite frankly would be hotter receiving by post. A full refund would be the minimum I would expect back.

£15 for poorly cooked bacon and overdone eggs is a joke. Overpriced breakfast amd was still hungry after because half was inedible.

Absolutely terrible, do not waste your money going here. I wouldn't go if they paid me. Food dreadful, place is minging, dirty, disgusting and staff don't give two hoots. Take your own food when you go to this park. There is no where you can eat at all 👍🏻 doesn't deserve a single star, they should shut the place down and fumigate it 👍🏻

Went here on the penultimate night. Food order for me went wrong ended up with totally the wrong pasta dish non veggie. Oops, but I have to say Caitlin was very professional and courteous and sorted it very quickly. Hence 5 for service.

We went out for dinner with family i Ordered the roast beef dinner for .myself and my husband waiting time was a bout 30 mins our family all got served first and as we sat waiting for our meal a member of staff asked if we were OK I told her we were waiting for our food and she told us we had to go to the carvery to get it. The chef was so rude to me and the food he put on our plates was uneatable. The rest beef was full of fat and grissel and the whole meal was cold. I ask for the mgr she came and offered me a plate of chips when I ask if she would eat she said she was vegetarian.she offered a refund for our meals but as yet we haven't received it and that was in June. Can't ring them phone cuts off its an absolute joke will never be back again

Very poor quality small portions and charging what you would pay for a propper portion got a mixed grill me my wife and 2 kids got a mixed grill I thort I had wasted my money getting the kids a mixed grill but however on our way.out of the restraunt we were still hungry so burger King we went very poor and overpriced ruined our holliday if I'm honest

Don't bother waisting your money £13.50 for an ultimate pizza burger I ordered for my son, when it came raging was an under statement if I could upload a picture I would it consist of a small smashed burger, 3 small pepperoni slices, 1small lettuce leaf and I don't even know where the mozzarella cheese was plus a handfull of chips. I should of ordered from burger King....

Most disoriented restaurant I've ever been in. They haven't a clue what's going on and what's going where. Useless.

Went here on our first day. Very overpriced but that was to be expected. After waiting an hour for food when the place was half full I went up to order more drinks and find out what the delay was as I had 3 kids with me desperate to go explore. They could hear the fun but not get involved. I was told I'd be at least another 30 minutes so had the food refunded and just paid for the drinks through the Haven Serve App. I was yold 2 - 5 days for refund but it never materialised. Unable to contact them through their listed phone number as it rings once then cuts off (try it). I'm obviously not at the caravan park anymore so can't chase it up. Tried claiming back through my bank but the receipts in the app aren't hard copies and have a time scale before disappearing so didn't have enough information. Does any one have another way of contacting them? I was due around £35 back. It never happened even though I was issued a revised receipt from a manager to retain as proof. It proves nothing as it doesn't have enough information that the bank needs to pursue.

We waiting ages for our food and when it came it was horrible I only used it once in my 10 day holiday.

Me and my daughter ordered the mixed grill cost £20 each couldn’t believe the size of the meat /steak/gammon etc had to put my glasses on to see it It was that small Expected a bit bigger than this for a £20 meal

Always wait at least 1 hour for food even when it's not busy. Lettuce is limp and food is only just edible. Don't bother with dessert unless you want to break your teeth on a doughbrick

If you like longs waits for sub-par food then this is the place for you. Stayed at Craig tara for a long weekend and thought we'd go here for a dinner. Waited over an hour for starters, thn the mains came out with the starters and they brought our deserts out when we were still eating our mains! Tried it again the next day for lunch thinking it mist have been because they were busy. Only about 10 to tables taken in the hole place and still waited over 45 minutes for kids food and a couple of panini's. Quality of the food is very poor. Save yourself the bother and just avoid the place.

Cold chips cold scampi no cheese in macaroni another week to go don't think we'll b eating in this 2 star restaurant again thank a very disgusted camper

This place was like a zoo, mate. Kids running around like crazy, seagulls swooping down on people, and dirty tables full of empty plates. What a mess! We waited 10 minutes to order food because the app wasn't working, and then it took another 45 minutes for the food to arrive. When it finally came, it was freezing cold and the chicken was overcooked and rubbery. It was one of the worst meals I've ever had. We were going to complain, but it was so busy that we couldn't be bothered. First and last time eating there, for sure.

Came in for lunch and ended up sharing some chips as the hunters chicken was dry and unappetising and the pizza was disgusting too, won’t be back for thr remainder of our holiday , highly recommend the fish and chip shop next door tho

I recommend feeding your hungry kids prior! After sitting waiting 40mins after our order had been sent, a waitor comes to tell us they dont have our starter, we change to a different starter, then the waiter comes back to point out theres a price difference so we will have to pay the difference( as we had pre paid) we accepted this with no hesitation and said we will be ordering the kids desserts so can sort it together if that was ok, which the waiter said was fine, another 20 mins passes starters come out, as soon as its fineshed and yet before the mains, a young waitress brings the bill with the remaiming balance of the starters, and says the manager "who cant do there owm dirty work" wants it paid now. I felt like a criminal that was trying to run away and leave them short of the £6 after already paying £60 for out meal. I was shocked there were plenty people ordering and paying at the end what made us look not trust worthy in there eyes, we had a very uncomfortable 20mim wait for the mains. Feeling far to uncomfortable i couldnt even eat my cold katsu curry. We sourced the kids desserts else where and safe to say there was no tip left!

we had dinner and the food was over cooked so much so the chicken nuggets was black and hard. sausage and mash was Horrible In fact everyone's food was not nice mainly overcooked and in small portions for the price they were asking. staff not all that friendly

I've already tried the submit a proper review twice but there's no real signal on this park. Anyway ..food is awful. Cold, chewy and probably been sat under a heat lamp for ages....and not cheap...portions are small and over priced. Just got a signal down the road so will add. Gave staff a birthday cake to be brought to the table after we had eaten. Anyway ,,more.food went back than was eaten and after a long wait the cake never made it back to us so we found it ourselves and left. So to sum it up... Food -rubbish Prices - not value for money at all Service....fast food delivery but that's understandable as it's probably been sitting out for quite a while. Would I go back in.... certainly not

Terrible absolutely horrendous hairs in my food foods all burnt too expensive plates tiny I hade sirloin steak and it was not cooked the way I asked at all my plate was tiny and it still cost £17.99 ridiculous should be shut down now

We went to have breakfast here what a nightmare, I wanted the 2 breakfast rolls which was 12 pound, she tried to charge me 16 pound, I told her it was wrong, she said its because I got 1 hot drink and not 2 so I ask if she could just give me 1 and she said no u need 2 haha, I told her just do me 2 then which 1 was wasted, I got the odd refuned the lady who did it was eating a cookie while trying to sort this out, the staff are so rude all standing around talking about what they did last night and eating cookies. I did not make it back.from paying and the rolls were on the table already, the staff need more training

Ordered a sharing platter and breaded mushrooms for starters and sharing platter chicken bites was rock hard over cooked, no flavour to the ribs whatsoever and meatballs stone cold. Main meal was 2 mixed grills and a Cajun pasta, mixed grill meat was chicken gammon and steak all over cooked and dry meal was left and the desserts of sticky toffee pudding was stone cold and the apple crumble well the crumble was soft and mushy it looked like mush that was left as well. After coming here every year and food being lovely this time from starter to dessert was disgusting and most definitely will not return

Food was cold, late and tasteless

Refused food I had ordered and asked to leave because my young family were sitting at a table which was “reserved”. I watched the very table for an hour at least after I left whilst in the park and surprise nobody had reserved the table. The tables are reserved at 10am when the place is empty. It’s nonsense! There was other tables available and I gave 3 options move us table, we can come back later or leave me alone as I was being harassed for who let me sit there whilst in the queue for the bar. But due to the lack of control the deputy manager of slim build & dark hair had in her reasoning she typically went on a power trip and asked me to leave as she wasn’t happy at the options I gave. Miserable woman. After asking for the main managers details I was told by a woman with a heavy build & short hair that “roddy” would tell me the same (wouldn’t expect any less) going by their rotten customer service. I advised her not to talk for roddy and I’d still like his details then to my disbelief I was firmly slapped on the upper arm and told “let’s go then” another manager I assume in normal clothes. Harassed & assaulted by this table mafia for a table that was empty anyway. Strange behaviour for a restaurant in a holiday complex. Taking it further with the head office & Haven.

Horrible, Cold food ,so bland ,drinks tasted like water when we asked for cutlery we waited ages (part of the reson the food was cold ) we got a full refund though we left with plates full and stomach empty, don't recommend wouldn't be going back

Went in tonight for some dinner we had pre booked and left really disappointed the food came cold and we had to ask for cutlery twice they also forgot our sides and the coke tasted like soda water all the food and drinks got sent back and we asked for a full refund definitely wouldn't recommend

5 people ordered food and it was all cold, so everything was left practically untouched! Drinks very poor. Didn't have what was advertised and EXTREMELY small measures!!, Cocktails seem like no alcohol added. Not impressed and we won't reccomend ir back!!!

OK I decided to write a separate review for my experience with the caravan because that is totally separate. OK where to start, I enter Brigs of Ayr with an overtired energetic hungry toddler. As a lone parent, I was expecting the worse. I was greated by a lovely gentleman named Ian. Who had an easy smile and put me at ease. Better yet he showed me how to do the table top ordering, gave recommendations, and genuinely wanted to help. I have eaten in best and worst of places and he was an absolute breath of fresh air. The food was amazing the pancakes were to die for (I had the platter - don't judge me), the fish was crisp and light, I tried the kids spaghetti, my son wasn't a fan but we gorged on the cuisine. Ian was great from start to finish with the guidance of Jodie who was also very pleasant, capable and knowledgeable. If you had more fruit options I probably would have ate every meal here. Very reasonably priced. Good choice in both hiring and the food.

After seeing negative reviews we decided to give it a shot anyway. Dined here twice during busy Easter holidays with 4 kids aged 2 to 8. Not the cheapest but also not terrible. Paid 50-60 each time including mains and drinks. Second visit kids pizza not available. First visit didn't have the right whiskey but apologised and refunded. On both occasions the service was excellent. Drinks and food both served quickly and tasted good. One minor complaint from 9 year old that the edge of her garlic bread was burnt, which she then proceeded to eat soooo.... Not much we could do about that! Recommend reserving as you're more likely to get a nicer booth or table near the window. The first time around this was great as we were able to allow the oldest two to play outside and keep an eye on them through the window.

It was fine. Very busy periods due to large numbers of families. Staff helped and advised on quieter times. Menu pricing is quite annoying as deals have to be read carefully before ordering.

The food is terrible and quite simply, they do not care one bit. I suppose when there’s no competition as it’s the only available restaurant on site, they don’t have to care. Had the mixed grill, steak was meant to be medium was clearly left under a heat lamp absolutely rubber, same with the gammon and the chicken was so dry and chewy it was inedible. Staff at the bar were ridiculously rude and cheeky especially the lad with the long greasy hair. Sauce racks lying on there side with sauce spilled over them, one even had a half drank fruit shoot in it. There was even a dog at the table next to us barking at our children while we were waiting on our food. Just an absolute shambles.

Our Food was disgusting and the portion size was ridiculously small for what I paid for, I expected more for what I paid at for table service, set tables. It was get your own cutlery and condiments, tables was sticky and obviously not washed. The food was overpriced. I wouldn't recommend eating here you will be disappointed There's Pleanty of staff, but all the food is lined up still waiting to be taken to tables and as far as I can see only one server. Who ever the supervisor is needs to do their job better, be on the floor doing their job. When passing by 40 minutes later all tables hadn't been cleared, including ours. If a could give it zero stars I would.

Awful! Initially they had lost my booking, despite being made in person the morning before! Finally seated and started ordering. However, no Sunday roasts on a Sunday! Then no Ribs. At the bar there was no gingerbeer, and only 3 orange juices. After several attempts to order, we eventually happened upon things they actually had. We then waited 40 minutes for food, in an all but empty restaurant. Peas were actually shrivelled, and yellow. My mushrooms were also shrivelled and rubbery. All of our chips were cold and horrible. As was my onion rings, and 3 of the other meals. None of the sauces and gravy ordered were with the meals, we also had to request cutlery which took another 5 minutes to appear. After complaining they agreed to bring a fresh scampi meal and chips for everyone. 15 minutes later the meal appeared, and we were told the chips had just been put on! By which time we had eaten what we could and were ready to leave. Got some of the meal refunded after some negotiation. Really poor meal, it should have all been refunded, with a huge apology. The so called shift leader hid, and left a young member of staff to deal with the complaint. Goodness knows what was going on in the kitchen, it designed as an open kitchen, but most of the shutters were closed. Clearly didn't want customers to see what was going on in there!

Went here 4 adult's and 4 kids to be told there is no walk in. We tried to book tables a wk before we came and couldn't cause it was fully booked but a part off the restaurant is for walk in.?? So there's only 1 restaurant for an entire caravan park. Absolutely shockin

Why does this bar stop serving meals at 7.30 pm and being a holiday maker, cheaked in at your request of 6pm abd now cant eat till tomorrow with my family unless I goto papa John's or burger King which they ate too expensive , when I have a family to feed . We go on holiday and pay for our freedom to enjoy our holiday , Craig Tara is a rip off .

Food significantly better than my visit a year ago - service is a bit slow at times, and most of the ordering is done via the app, but they're all friendly, and there's something on the menu for everyone. Really wish they'd fix the part of the restauran that's always wet and flooded though, it smells when you're sitting nearby.

Absolutely shocking. Not one to complain, being an ex waitress myself I know the pressures with the job. Bookings only, waited a long time to even be seen to. My Mum had to go fetch someone as a que started to form. General cleanliness within the "restaurant" was very poor. Tables every where full of plates, food, you name it, left. No one to be seen cleaning. Took some time for food to arrive, which is fine, we understand as it's freshly made. When arrived all our meals were cold. The waitress didn't even ask who's meal was who's, just handed them over without talking expecting us to dish the plates out. No cutlery or condiments given. I had to chase someone for cutlery. Then for condiments, which we were told would take to the table but still waiting. Place was run by young people, which, again I get it. I've been there myself. Personally really wouldn't recommend anyone to go there. We didn't seem to be the only ones chasing for cutlery etc. Definitely not worth the money

Awful service went in for dinner last night holiday waited over 45 minuted for main meal with young child asked staff why waited so long said just need wait bit longer then complained no apology got refund only for main meals.not drinks and walked out horrible end to our 5 day holiday won't be back don't know what customer service is

We waited an hour for our food which looked like it had been cooked under the heat lamp. Our drinks arrived after the food. The place was freezing and the music very loud. It was stinking of cigarettes and vapes and grubby. The service was shocking. A dive.

The waitress made eating here very confusing. I came here with my sister, mum and uncle.We ordered 2 ham and cheese paninis(along with other things not relevant). The waitress then came over and said that there was no paninis left so my uncle said that he'd go for bangers and mash. The waitress then said "2 bangers and mash okay" then hastily turned around without leaving me room to object. While me and my mum were out on the phone for a moment the waitress came back and my uncle tried to explain that we only wanted 1 bangers and mash she then said that we have to go up to the bar to get a refund because she already placed the order so we did but the people at the bar did not understand what was happening as the order did not change on there system. We could not find the waitress when we were trying to sort out the misunderstanding. We ended up fixing the problem and the food came. The drinks were flat and and the food was cold. I had ordered nachos and the cheese was stiff and the meat was extremelly fatty. Not a good experience at all.

Dirty mugs, staff just talking, poor customer service

Was there for a breakfast. Half of the tables were empty so we thought there won't be a long wait. The staff was nice and professional but portions were tiny, no toast which I was told is coming only with a big english breakfast, no butter to the toast. One sausage, one egg, 1/4 of tomatoe, no mushrooms, two tablespoons of beans and one tiny triangle of hash browns. My 3 year old had a pancakes (two tiny ones with two strawberries cutted in four. It took him 5 minutes to eat it and it wasn't even child portion). We were waiting for this over 45 minutes. At least coffee was half decent and warm, but for a price like that those portions should have been bigger and should have had all the ingredients people are used to have normally. We left straight to eat proper breakfast as somehow we left a table even hungrier that we sat there.

Average pub grub and service bit slow during busy times. Recommended booking in advance.

Please stay away... Useless restaurant... They served me raw chicken... They seem to be serving supermarket microwave meals... Worst experience ever...

Was here on holiday at a caravan park 9th August 2023 my husband said he take out for something to eat as it is wedding anniversary enjoyed the meal and the service was good

Had to be the worst food and service I have ever had. Tried 3 days in a row to book table to be told fully booked. Each night we sat for drinks and the place was empty. When on 4th night we finally got to reserve a table at a certain time, when we arrived we were told a completely different time and had to wait 45 minutes. When we finally got seated the menu was completely sold out of nearly everything. I should say not opted but had to settle on steaks. Big mistake, waited an hour for a piece of rubber and frozen chips...completely gross. 7 in party and 5 of us had finished eaten and two still hadn't received their food. Will never step inside it again. Management would need to have a head wobble and sort the absolute shambles out.

Brigs of Ayr worst ever restaurant, ordered sunday dinner then charged full price, half the food wasnt on plate but still charged full price for the food we didn't get and wasnt informed when ordering that they didnt have it, when we asked about the missing food we where told none left, only being 2 hrs into lunch during peek season? the food we did get was hard and under cooked or burnt. We asked to speak to manager BADESH and was told we need to go to him and complain as he didnt want to speak to us. When we did speak to him he was very hostile and aggressive and unsympathetic to us shouting "what you want me to do about it?" No customer service skills if i spoke like that to a customer i would be sacked on the spot. If he spoke like that to me outside he would be wearing his balls for earings his attitude was appalling. AVOID this place. Show

An overpriced wetherspoons, tell you what wetherspoons is actually better, and that's saying something. Service is terrible, around five staff behind the bar at a time, only one serving. You don't get what it states on the menu. I ordered the ultimate burger supposed to have three patties only had two with a handful of chips, also ordered three steak and ale pies only came with chips, No mash or vegetables as stated, when we complained the young server said "I don't want to go in the kitchen and ask, because it's really busy in there" the restaurant was only at about a ¼ capacity I'd say. Was a Sunday dinner treat for the family, it was poor and very disappointing.

Biggest bunch amateurs working in a restaurant, I honestly think some of the staff walked in after drinking 10 pints and put on a uniform and start serving people , waited 30 mins for some of the food we ordered to be told there's none of that left after they said they'd bring it straight down. I'd avoid this place like the plague.

We have eaten here three times throughout our stay and every time we came in we were welcomed by the friendly staff. The wait times at the bar were long, but the staff were friendly and helpful. Once the food was ordered, the service was very fast and the food was good. I had a problem with my order at breakfast time, accidentally being overcharged, but when I spoke to the team, they were very quick to resolve and refund the difference with no problem whatsoever. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Have just went in for a lunch.There are multiple tables empty and we were told they did not take walk ins until 2.30.We where told this is what the manager had told them .We have been to Craig Tara a few times and the last time was the same we wanted for an hour between courses DO NOt WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY

Food was out way to fast cold in the middle eggs from the morning service slack run by children

We sat down to be told to use the QR code to order. Took about 30 mins to actually get it working to order anything to see that half the lunch menu wasnt available on the app. When we ordered what we thought was available on the app we were then told that what we ordered wasn't available. We chose the pizza for the kids, to be then sent one pizza and the chicken burger sliders, so we told them we didn't want the sliders and we wanted the pizza, we also weren't told that the starters weren't available, the humous and veggie sticks, offered no alternative to that either. The communication and organisation of the place is a bit of a shambles, definitely would not recommend considering its meant to be part of a holiday park with many families expecting a good service and a decent menu. Very poor show as the establishment is a nice setting and should really meet expectation.

Kids mocktails are not served how they are described One is supposed to have a jelly snake in it ... disappointed 6yr old looking for the snake 🐍 that wasnt there Other one was supposed to be served with fresh strawberries 🍓 again disappointed 6yr old as no strawberries came with the drink Questioned the waitress who told us they had run out of jelly snakes 🐍 and 🍓 kids were not offered the play pack either We had a spillage at the table and we were given a cloth and a roll of blue roll tissue to clean it up ourselves Very short staffed Over an hour just to order drinks And another hour to receive food .... we only visited restaurant twice and we wouldn't go back

Food not very good obviously left under heat lamps. Butter packets had melted to oil on the plate. Terribly long wait. Far too expensive for the quality recieved. Sides missing from meals even the cocktails weren’t as advertised. Bar was poorly managed; plenty of staff but only one person on till and 10 minute wait to actually get a drink order in Will not be returning

caravan was alright, my experience at the restaurant was decent and staff were nice I think I spoke to a young lady named Emma she was lovely. Very helpful and kind👍

Shocking service, food edible but only just! Ordered from app at table, waited 30 minutes for drinks order despite queue at bar clearing twice and staff chatting away not bothered by app orders. Food ordered came without items listed on menu, and two extras ordered missing, had to chase twice and remainder of food cold by the time we got it all. Would not recommend and will not go back - grab a takeaway from Papa John's, Chopstix, or go out to Ayr for food. A real shame as nice setting and could be so much better.

I am not one bit happy with the service I received today from brigs of Ayr as an owner I am used to getting the burger out of the restaurant. And the burger was hard to bite into today and was burnt. I sent it back the first time and got told it was because it was chargrilled I have never had this problem before. Also my partner had to give me his chips from his fish and chips (which were the thick cut chips) as the other chips were horrible (which was skin on fries chips) then when my burger got swapped the chips got changed back to the horrible ones. The service aswell I received was appalling apart from one girl who actually had the decency to offer us a table.

We had breakfast here today. I just want to leave this review as constructive criticism. I had a breakfast and the food was barely luke warm. It was very low quality, lower than wetherspoons:( my son wouldnt even eat his and that was pancakes! Small things would make a difference like offering sauce with breakfast, maybe doing a table check back and if the food was atleast warm I wouldn't complain but come on £30 for three breakfast meals at that standard was not worth it.

Lot of food unavailable Had to wait 2 hours for food then it came cold bad en it wasn't busy terrible experience won't be going there again

Booked a table for 7:30pm as bookings go up to 8pm. Went up to order food and was told that the kitchen was closed. This is far too early to close a restaurant as most would stay open to atleast 10pm serving food? We were upset as we had booked the same time before and have been served so we asked to speak to the manager and suddenly they could take our orders while getting the food out quick as. We feel that if we hadn't challenged them then they wouldn't have served us. The quality was subpar , obviously just reheated as the staff wanted us out so they could close up quicker and go home- this must be losing Haven a lot of money and we will be phoning head office to let them know. Managers and staff need re-training because this kind of service is horrible and the restaurant needs to be open longer as it is in a holiday park.

Popped in for a couple of drinks. Staff were amazing, despite being so busy they managed to make us feel welcome and created a lovely atmosphere. Massive thanks to Josh, James and William for making our first visit a great experience. Will definitely be returning again throughout our stay.

Not enough staff for the amount of customers,

Food was delicious,,no table service,,but the young lady who served me at the bar was very polite,helpful and smiley cheerful,,pity the other girls weren't as happy or cheerful looking,,unfortunately dour faced,,dinner dishes weren't collected,even when pudding was brought to table (2),,dinner plates were left(4)stacked them to one side myself.i had the fish super which was delicious,grandson enjoyed his macaroni and cheese,,great chef,

Really enjoyed our food staff where friendly and efficient

Went on a Sunday and told to order through the app so went online and ordered 2 paninis and 2 drinks for £10 and pizza for the kids. The drinks came then 5 minutes later we were told as it was Sunday the paninis weren't on the menu. We then said we would get a refund for them and just get the pizza but when the 2 pizzas came the dough was still raw. We then just asked for a refund for the full lot but all but one of the staff was even remotely helpful

We tried here on our first night at Craig Tara and we won’t be back. The kids pizza and sides was terrible, not even cooked properly just a soggy mess of pizza and garlic bread. Steak was over cooked but edible. Staff were friendly and prices were reasonable but who ever cooks the food (don’t want to say chef as it certainly didn’t seem like it was made by a chef) made little to no effort.

Went with my family on Thursday night for dinner. Ordered drinks and waited around 30 minutes to be brought to our table, they were sitting on the bar for about 20 minutes. We ordered 4 meals on the app. Only one meal was brought out for my husband. I asked where the others where and was asked "did we order any others" she went away and came back to say she looked at the wrong ticket. About 5 mins later we received our other 3 meals. My son wanted a plain burger, when it came it had salad & mayonnaise. My daughter wanted pasta with chicken added, when she got it there was no chicken. We told the waitress who took them away to get sorted. When we complained to the waitress she didn't seem interested. When we finished I spoke to the manager to complain who didnt seem interested either. He said that he had been having issues with the kitchen and they were busy. They were very quiet and the service was disgraceful. We were given a complimentary round of drinks but at the end of the day the dervice was terrible. Also the toilets were horrible and I never seen them cleaned. I mentioned to a staff member who said she would get a cleaner. When the cleaner had been I popped back in and there was still a toilet blocked that I complained about.

Loved the jelly baby cocktail. The mixed grill was good. We Enjoyed our meals

For a family restaurant, the service was poor, and the shift manager rude and was not very accommodating. Food order poor and instructions not followed. Fries were grey. It was only on the 4th complaint that my voice got heard.

Hands down thee best burger I have ever had, highly recommended.

Poor service nothing on the menu when we got there at 5pm for Sunday lunch Waitress couldn’t find the wine we liked on her menu told us they didn’t have it so had to go on the app and order our own just poor all round

The food was tasty. However the service was poor and if we go to Craig Tara we won't be eating there again. We had pre-booked a table. Arrived went to order through the app as orders aren't taken at the table. The app wasn't working. After 20 mins with noone coming over, we went to the bar and ordered food. After we ordered the food and paid it, we were told there is a 45 mins wait, which was fine. But we should of been told this and that the app wasn't working when we arrived!! We waited 45 mins for our starter, it clearly had been sitting at a hot plate counter as the lettuce and sauce all very warm. It took 15 mins before our empty plates were lifted. We waited and waited, at one point, we had been there for 2hrs and only had our starters, so chased up our order with the floor manager. He chased it up and advised us it wouldn't be much longer. 30 mins later, we asked again as we still hadn't received our mains. During this time, others tables had arrived and received their food quicker than ours. We waited a further 10 mins and our mains arrived. By this point, my daughter was over hungry, no longer wanted her dinner and wanted to go. To be honest if we hadn't already pre-paid, we would of walked out a long time before we got our main meals. Really poor service by the floor staff. The bar staff were getting over worked and were doing a great job. The experience was not enjoyable!

Booked a table of 7 today for a catch up with friends. We travelled a long way. This restaurant was appalling! The service was so bad and so extremely slow. We had to keep asking where things were. We had mains before drinks came out. Chips stone cold. Couple behind us were also complaining. English breakfast was so bad and no eggs and wouldn’t have filled my dog never mind a fully grown adult! Desserts were shambolic. Seriously need to look at the food quality and retrain colleagues. Half the things that we ordered were unavailable too. Very much a let down. Will not be back! Off to Burger King we go….

Friendly staff good menu and family friendly venue.

Timings mentioned online up to 11pm. Went there at 8.50 n was told it's gets shut at 8.30 n bar only opens until 11 Excuse me,pls update your website accordingly as its a bar n restaurant both. Mention two different timings !!

Great staff . Definitely worth the tip

Food suited some family members,but not for me. Service was mixed as place was busy. Bit pricey for drink as no competition, wouldn't recommend as its only a place of convenience.

Sub par food that was barely warm when served. Did have half the menu on. Loud and uncomfortable atmosphere. Servers were worked off their feet. Only plus is that it's on the caravan site and there is nothing else in walking distance.

Despite having a booking, still waited outside for 10 minutes to be seated. Service was extremely slow, that is not the fault of the actual servers. There just aren’t enough of them. Employ more staff, get people served and out quicker, avoid queues and disappointment. Especially on the September weekend which I assume is one of the busiest times of the season.
