Great live music venue. There's always music playing when we walk past. Easy, relaxed vibe. Walk in, grab a table and order yourself drinks and food. Enjoy the atmosphere, weather and vibe. You can order on your phone or at the bar. The venue is right next to the beach and other cafes.

Visited over the weekend- was quite busy drinks were understandably slow but generally good vibes until I saw what seemed to be a manager shouting at staff, which brought down the positive atmosphere. We ended up leaving and going to a different bar in the end. I used to go so much during the summer and it’s sad to see the staff getting spoken to like that, I wish I could come back but after seeing how it’s being managed I can’t continue. Wishing all the best for the rest of the staff you guys are lovely

Very nice to spend some time, eat, drink something and enjoy live music with nice local singers.

Great food, lovely staff and excellent live music too! The huts are really cool and a great addition to the beach, we loved our lunch and the all day live music. Great food, fab atmosphere and everyone was really helpful and put on a great night!

Generally i really enjoy this place, the drinks and the atmosphere most of the time is really positive and friendly, however i came in a couple of days ago with friends and we witnessed some bald guy who looked like a manager shouting and talking to the staff members very disrespectfully, and to see that as a customer is gross behaviour. It is unacceptable to talk to staff like this and it seemed like the staff were trying really hard to get things done as it was incredibly busy. Honestly makes me not want to come back here only because of that, it ruins the vibe to see stuff like that. Either be professional and talk inside and not in front of people enjoying their time, or speak nicer to your co workers.

Go to shelter hall instead ! Came here a couple days ago while I was visiting a friend, service was absolutely brilliant and staff were lovely. My group had some chips and drinks which were really nice as well (though portion size was a little small but it’s Brighton so hey). I wasn’t planning on writing a review at all due to quite an awful experience towards the end that ruined it completely but I can’t get it out of my mind and both me and my group feel as though this needs to be brought to the owner’s attention. My whole group were made very uncomfortable by who I assume was the manager, causing a scene yelling in the face of one the members of staff who was clearly run off her feet in a very busy time and doing her best despite it looking like they were understaffed for the rush. This was obviously no one’s fault but potentially the managers for not scheduling more people but I didn’t see anyone complaining or making a fuss. As someone who has worked in service myself I thought that it was quite frankly out of order and I was horrified to see someone behaving like that to an employee in front of customers let alone how he must act when people aren’t around !!! The altercation from the man made me and everyone at my table as well as other customers near us visibly uneasy and my partner wanted to complain but I thought the young lady might get in trouble and so instead we just left. Luckily a couple mins walk away towards the pier there’s a lovely place called shelter hall which does very good espresso martinis and still has a nice outdoor area if you’re up for that! so we could finish my trip on a positive note. definitely won’t be returning or recommending this place to anyone! It quite frankly nearly ruined the trip.

We had a great time sat on the terrace with excellent live music 🙂. We'll definitely revisit.

I have been here before many times and generally it has been good, however today was a bit of a letdown. My husband and I approached the bar, the barman didn't even bother to say hello. He had a fairly big order to do so we gave him a couple of minutes and asked if we could be seated in one of the igloos. He said yes and I assumed he'd unlock the igloo when he'd completed the order - nope, he took a phone call and walked away. Considering the length of time it would take to unlock the door or just let us know that he was busy I was surprised and disappointed he just ignored us. There were 7 of us in total, so we just walked away. Shame.

We had really nice food and our waitress Keely was the best! Really efficient and sweet ! Thank you :)

had a lovely afternoon with my work friends here. Was served by a lovely pink haired woman, very bubbly and attentive. 10/10 recommend

Nice place to sit on a nice day listening to the entertainment, only criticism is the price of the drinks. Over £10 for a pint of lager and half a cider. But Would recommend

Super cool place on the sea front. Live music, great helpful staff. Clean toilets, plenty of space to sit outside or inside. Stylish bar with lots of drinks and food to buy.

Excellent venue, lots of gluten free food options! It's just a shame they don't have a disabled toilet. There is a public disabled loo close by but it shuts at night so not ideal.

Love this place , every time my husband and I have visited with friends we’ve had a great time . Fantastic music and atmosphere. Staff have always been friendly and attentive with a smile. It’s a must to visit on a summers day . The only reason I gave it a 4* is because of the toilet layouts … you end up sardined.

Very friendly staff, place nice and clean we had a dog with us and the staff member brought out a bowl of water. A lovely young lady was singing . Next time in Brighton we know where to head.

Great Christmas party had in an Igloo, food, entertainment and DJ was all great. Decoration on table could have been slightly better and would have been good to get a Christmas Cracker!

We had lunch and some drinks at the weekend. We had an outside pod. It was beautiful and good fun with a great singer.

I booked our Christmas do here, they were very helpful and accommodating diring the planning stages and the day itself. Beautiful venue, lovely staff and an amazing all round night!!

We had our work Christmas Party at the venue last night. We all had a great time and hired one of the beach huts. The staff were fantastic, really attentive and friendly. Our main waitress was Summer who was fantastic but everyone else working that evening were also great. The Drag bingo was fun, highlight was definitely Karaoke and we even enjoyed a bit of a boogie in the bar. We were lucky with the weather as it was a cold (to be expected in December) but the beach huts warmed up quickly... Thanks again.

Just want to say, really lovely Staff but Venue was a great disappointment for Christmas dinner/party. Freezing cold and the igloos leaked as it rained. Certainly not worth money it cost. I can imagine great place in the summer with group of friends on a night out drinking.

Went to ‘Bingo with belters!’ last night. Got a beach hut for the 5 of us - we had a buffet, played musical bingo and then did some karaoke in our beach hut. Really did have an incredible night!! Big BIG love to Jade and Kian for looking after us 🫶🏽

Did the Christmas party event last night and had a ball. Jade was the best host and made sure we had food and wine all night - even through the biblical downpour. Loved our festive beach hut!! Would definitely recommend

This place was so badly organised, we showed up and had to speak to 3 separate people before someone finally understood we had a booking for one of the huts and took us to where we needed. The speaker in the hut was awful quality, and delayed from what the DJ was playing. The Google speaker didn't work as an alternative as suggested. The service was slow, and the bar staff were not friendly. We had one nice gal who was apologetic about the speaker, blank TV, and kept us going with drinks (for a while...but even she stopped visiting eventually!) Wish we hadn't ordered food from the off so we could just finish our drinks and leave ASAP.

Wow, what a Sunday roast . I had the chicken, my husband had the three meat roast, we can both honestly say it was the best Sunday roast we’ve ever had. Very hot and very tasty. We sat in the sunshine listening to fantastic live music, not too loud (we’re ‘old’), perfect. Very friendly staff, overall 10/10.

Sometimes good music, unfortunately, the serving staff have no clue what they are doing should have told us we could actually go to the bar & get our own drinks

Slow service, but good entertainment. Always worth a visit to see local musicians play.

It was ok, some chap singing live whilst we sat in the mini dome having lunch and drinks with the family. The food was nice and warm and served in good time, the only thing I didn't like and it's lost a star as the chap singing comes around with a bucket and card machine expecting a tip which is fine which you'll feel obliged to but the music was average and can only be best described as the management team auditioning for x factor.

Food was OK but we ordered with drinks and had to wait 30 mins between them. Staff were polite enough and gave is fresh drinks to compensate

It was a great venue for a close friends wake, but the drinks were rather expensive. Staff were very friendly.

Great venue located directly on the seafront with the focus being the stage where you will often get people/groups singing. Lots of picnic tables outdoors where you can sit for free and watch. It gets incredibly busy and can be difficult to grab an outdoor table. You can order drinks to your table using the QR code or use the bar.

This place is just a fabulous relax sit have a nice drink relax and listen to very talented singers 😁

Food was amazing but service was poor. We waited for over 2 hours just for burgers, fries, and wings. That wasn’t very nice!

Always live music outside, obviously better in good weather

Came here for a Sunday roast with my partner, and wow it beats any other roast in Brighton. Great view great music and great food. The customer service too just made the whole evening lovely. We will 100% be back for another beef roast soon!! Thank you Music hall

A roast. A roast is lovely. Much like with pizza, tiramisu or long walks along the beach, even roasts of sub-par quality have the potential to satisfy those deep, ancient yearnings for experiences reflecting elements of the human condition which are treasured yet never fully understood. Within the experiential spectrum of my personal roast consumption thus far, I have drank deeply from the diverse cup of the roast rainbow. I have been satisfied, surprised, pleased, dissapointed and even scared in all manner of venues, contexts and situations in which there have been roasts. I have roasted, been roasted for and been roasted. Whist past roast memories provide us the viable knowledge against which current roasts are compared , it is the roasts of the moment which provide the experiences to uphold the actual meaning of a roast. It is thus important for me to focus now on the roast of this very moment, which is the vegan sunday roast from the brighton music hall. 1. Potatoes Whilst generally considered a side thing, the potatoes were a real main feature of this meal. Crispy to the point of translucency, fluffy like a thosand pillows, and a flavour profile I thought a mere potato wouldnt have the capacity to contain. 2. Pie thing Pie thing was lovely, soft and fluffy exterior, with a home county wholesome filling which left me feeing hearty and nostalgic for mothers best garden. 3. Veg The vegetables were plentiful in their abundance and diversity - the carrots were soft like butter; slide down your throat soft. Kale crispy and sassy. Broccoli was severly moist to the touch - explode in your mouth moist. 4. Gravy Delightful miniature gravy boats with umami laden gravy infused with rosemary sprigs. An umami tsunami off the richter scale, or whatever oceanic disasters get assessed based on - potentiall a "lichter" scale. Verbosity aside, this roast was a 9.5/10, my only slight gripe with it was that the yorkshire pudding was a bit hard. But theres no roast rainbows without roast rain.

Went to the Brighton Music Hall for a roast & drag show. Both the food and the entertainment were brilliant! Service was great too!

Great location but not great value for money. Firstly prices are high for drinks, and then you get served in a cheap reused plastic cup. Limited food choice. Live music was good, but you go on the app and you have to pay for it, no choice! App is dated and slow and no Apple Pay so you have to sit there and enter card details. Don’t mind paying high prices for a premium product and service but you don’t get that here.

Love this place great for a bit more atmosphere especially when weather nice. Good service too and a good selection of food.

No Guinness. Bands throughout the day, but the venue doesn't pay them, forcing them to come round with a collection bucket

Was okay, good atmosphere and music was good. Took forever to get a bottle of prosecco and the table ordering system was a bit clunky. Big shout out to the doorman who sorted out our drinks after a 20 minute wait.

Classic drinks on the beach with a band playing old songs everyone knows and sort of likes. Great view of the beach and really good for people watching. Kinda basic.

Went to Brighton Music Hall for a work's do. Great atmosphere, music, and food. Service was a bit erratic, but it was very busy. Make sure if there's a lot of you more than 1 goes to the bar as they don't give trays out to carry your drinks!!

Went for a works do 😀🍻🥂. Not been before. Definitely recommend. Great live music and food. Drinks service could be better. The pints of lager and shandies arrived several minutes before the cocktails and shorts, and the order was wrong. When we went to get several more drinks, we had to ask for a tray !! Eventually allowed one on the orders to make sure we bring it back!! The food was really great. My "old cow" burger was fantastic, but the portion of chips was disappointing, to say the least. Love the beach huts idea. Definitely want to go back.

Surprisingly good food for such a touristy place. Would recommend the vegan shawarma of you are looking for something without meat. Unfortunately, the loss of a star is because the beer glasses were all filthy and unwashed with lipstick stains from the previous day.

Always loved this place on the seafront, always local talented live music, good pub grub and awesome selection of drinks, a must if you are visiting Brighton 😀

Fun, great atmosphere, good music. Everyone there was really enjoying themselves.

It's a great spot to enjoy live music while dining and drinking. The burger doesn't meet expectations in terms of quality, but the fish and chips are decent. The food ordering app has some issues, particularly with missing menu items pictures and the inability to order drinks online.
