Absolutely lovely, Jade was amazing - helped with everything we needed. Five stars to Jade!!!!

Fab place, great music, 21st in the upstairs bar, Jade did a great job, friendly and helpful.

We were walking along the beach and heard live signer, which brought us to Music Hall. We ordered our drinks from an app at the table which was nice touch and within a couple of mins our drinks at the table. Staff was very polite. Drinks on the pricey side as expected and happy to pay. We will definitely be back every time we visit Brighton.

Came here after hearing great things about the live music and I wasn’t disappointed. Sat and watched a guy singing with a guitar and he was fantastic! Got some food and drinks also which were spot on! Will defiantly be coming back!

Fantastic venue. Attended for apres ski theme that they are doing for winter. Ski chalets / igloos/ amazing chocolate fondues. Extensive winter warmer menu. Give it a try. X

Great food we came for a sunday drag roast and loved it! The pork belly and cauli cheese were epic, lovely staff and excellent live music too! Best qualify and best priced roast ive had in ages! The igloos are really cool and a great addition to the beach - we will be back soon!

We held our 50th birthday party at this venue at the weekend. It was a huge success, everybody loved the venue, the location and the views. We hired the bar on the first floor. The staff were amazing and a top night was had by all. Thanks to the team. We’ll be back.

A bit shabby, fast-food although cheese platters were nice. Excellent singers, good choice of beers and drinks.

I visited the Brighton Music Hall for a drag bingo event and had a wonderful time. Drinks could be ordered to the table and the food was nice. The entertainment was great and my friend won the main prize. The manager was very friendly and made the night enjoyable.

Excellent atmosphere, excellent Venue,

We went with the family last week 27th August we reserved the Nipa blue hut. Everyone ordered fish and chips apart from my daughter. She ordered the salt and pepper squid. Later that night she had such a bad diarrhea and continues vomiting. I am 100% sure it's because of that squid, because she never have anything else to eat after having that squid. I did send email to the management but no action has been done. We probably got a squid that was contaminated or left overnight. Also please check the glasses make sure there is no more lipstick marked on it. We've been coming to Brighton at least 3x a year and This is the first time coming into these restaurant and and we were so looking forward to it, but after this awful experience we will not coming back ever again and we will not recommend to anyone. I'm sorry but as a mum it breaks my heart seeing my daughter suffer so much after that food poisoned. I hope no one else ever have to experienced that so please do check your kitchen.

Shitty cocktails 2 for 15 pounds in plastic cups

Nice venue to sit and have a drink / meal while watching live music which seems to play all day (visited on a Sat). While you can book a table you can also turn up and find any free table. You can walk up to the bar to order drinks or scan the QR code on your table and order through their website. When we were there on a Sat their did seem to be a lot of hen & stag parties, so it was quite lively.

Sat outside watching the live singers in this fun happy venue , for free . Has a nice few drinks in the sun , easy to find not far from the pier . Really enjoyed this venue but didn’t eat there .

Went for pride and there was a great atmosphere, lots of fun great outside space. The staff are really friendly, was served by Jade who was lush, chatted away with us about Pride and recommended us drinks!

Had a good brunch at a reasonable price whilst being entertained by a really good young lady singer

Environment is great me and my friends come here a lot, but recently the staff seem to have changed. The woman with a clipboard at the front telling people where to go to was very unhelpful, had a very aggressive tone and didn’t seem to care about anything other than being rude and demanding. Kind of put us off and we left shortly before our reservation was supposed to end.

Nice place but they don’t take cash so I couldn’t spend my money there.

Nice atmosphere and I enjoyed the visit and the pint on a very hot evening after working in the area.

Great big open space with a variety of drink options & you can order via phone @ your table which is useful. I've found some of the singers a bit hit & miss but if you want to sit outside in the sunshine with some pals & music then it's great.

Good love music. But bar needs to sort out their soft drink situation. Draught taps were all flat & attitude from staff is 'so what, it's been like that all day'. Paid for a pint of coke but ended up with a can of pepsi.

After a long walk, we stopped here for some drinks. There was live music and the weather was lovely, so it was just perfect to sit and relax. We used the QR code at the table to order but frankly it would have been quicker to just go up to the bar.

Nice venue, well picked performers, prices and staff friendly. Seating close but well laid out for ease of getting to a table. Nice sunny spot.

Really like the atmosphere here and the live music with sun and a drink is fantastic. Unfortunately drinks aren't really consistent on two days in a row we ordered some drinks the first being the Pimm's and then the rum redbull cocktail and for some reason on the second ordering of each drink it was completely different colour and taste . Along side this I ordered a vodka lime cordial and soda and they just added lots of limes and failed to tell me this was because they run out of lime. They done this with my partners cocktail as well as didn't have the liquor for it so used watermelon one which was lovely but what if he had an allergy ! . I really appreciate it's so busy but they need to be a little more careful

Visited pride weekend with two children in tow. Great menu, reasonably priced, and great cocktail carafes. The service is quick and we ordered via the app. Great to have live music on the beachfront.

Went to see Carl Cox. Not enough toilets or staff. Drinks massively overpriced. Decent stage and sound system but should be much better organised.

Only giving one star , as although location and atmosphere is nice on a sunny day , you MUST BE AWARE , they add a charge every time you order drinks as a “music charge” although it is not signed anywhere . This is in addition to the collection by the singers when they finish a set . If happy , carry on. If not happy with this , find another bar .

Great location and some very good live music, busy on weekends

The Staff took my drink when I had not finished my drink. I asked to speak to the manager and he said you left the drink on the table and he was very rude and pathetic. I didnt finish my drink but the staff decided to snatch it out my hand before I finished it, which is very unprofessional and the manager is very rude and pathetic. Avoid this place at any costs because they earn alot of money anyway. I never experienced such rudeness from a male manager, as I explained clearly to the manager what happened and he told me to buy another drink. Very unprofessional and pathetic.

Good music, great atmosphere and friendly staff. Food was mediocre at best - dry burger and flavour lacking chicken wings.

Nice bar and live band playing. Sat on centre tables outside which are a bit cramped but ok.

Fun place to go, on the beach, bands or singers on stage until late, great drinks service, perfect on a sunny day.

Always been a firm favourite for a day/night out with friends. Great live music, rain or shine but preferably shine can’t recommend enough. DJ got us all having a brilliant night whilst the sun set behind us. Great staff, great place and a must if coming to Brighton. It’s an obligatory visit! Perfection, thank you x

We booked a hut, with television, for 8 people for a Saturday afternoon and requested a short extension to the 2-hour booking slot. They were really helpful and quickly confirmed our request, plus asked if we would like to pre-order any drinks for arrival. The service was excellent throughout our time there. Each hut has a QR code for ordering drinks and food to table, but we never needed to use this as the servers were so attentive. Thank you

Great bar on the beach with live music performances. Went again yesterday evening and they would not let you use the toilets (which are upstairs) as there was a private party on upstairs. They told us to use the public toilets by the underpass but they were closed as it was late. Seems like they need a replacement manager.

The staffs were lovely! The atmosphere was great. French fries/chips very little for a fiver. I don’t like the iced coffee I ordered, tasted like water, but it’s understandable because it’s like more of a chill out pub place, if you know what I meant. Good live music and the crowd were amazing! We will definitely come back here again.

Really poor, very slow to bring the 2 drinks ordered via app, saw them on bar and nobody brought over after 5 mins so went to collect myself. Seating was uncomfortable and drinks served in plastic unless you went to bar yourself to order, the music was a major disappointment on this visit too.

This place has really grown over the years, excellent food, quick service (this seems to have improved), lots more staff, better bands/singers than ever. Many many great hours spent here, it’s one of our favourite things to do in Brighton. Keep up the good work. Big shout out to Legend Has it Band and Mae Hill, two of my favourites here.

Okay for a quick drink and the live music is quite pleasant.

It's a really lovely vibe but the food I had was BAD. I ordered on the app and what came looked so different from the photo, from portion size to contents. And the fake chicken was so dry, not nice at all im afraid. I understand how it's busy in summer but then maybe don't have photos on your menu to give false expectations?

Nice atmosphere and live music but food was tasteless. Don't order fish&cips, really oily and the peas eh...

I booked to come here for my friends stag do, at no point on the website does it say they don’t except stag do parties. The Stag was in nothing offensive and was told he couldn’t come in due to not accepting stag do outfits but they then allowed us to put a hoodie over the stag so we could stay. As we had paid a £50 deposit for the table because we were a party of 11, we ordered drinks over the bar as it took the staff too long to come and take an order. we were then unable to redeem the £50 deposit unless we were sat at the table and served by a waitress. So we ended up leaving the place just due to the attitude of the staff.

I threw my husband a 40th and Jade was amazing on the night. We had the best time! Thank you so much

We came here for a concert, we really like these smaller venues as you get to see the artist better without the screens. The usual queues at the intervals for toilets and the bar areas But overall would definitely be going back to watch another concert.

I've got expired fish and chips. And instead of apologising, I received a very rude comment from a manager. Very unprofessional! Won’t come back and I don’t advise you unless you want to get food poisoning

Great live music venue. There's always music playing when we walk past. Easy, relaxed vibe. Walk in, grab a table and order yourself drinks and food. Enjoy the atmosphere, weather and vibe. You can order on your phone or at the bar. The venue is right next to the beach and other cafes.

Visited over the weekend- was quite busy drinks were understandably slow but generally good vibes until I saw what seemed to be a manager shouting at staff, which brought down the positive atmosphere. We ended up leaving and going to a different bar in the end. I used to go so much during the summer and it’s sad to see the staff getting spoken to like that, I wish I could come back but after seeing how it’s being managed I can’t continue. Wishing all the best for the rest of the staff you guys are lovely

Go to shelter hall instead ! Came here a couple days ago while I was visiting a friend, service was absolutely brilliant and staff were lovely. My group had some chips and drinks which were really nice as well (though portion size was a little small but it’s Brighton so hey). I wasn’t planning on writing a review at all due to quite an awful experience towards the end that ruined it completely but I can’t get it out of my mind and both me and my group feel as though this needs to be brought to the owner’s attention. My whole group were made very uncomfortable by who I assume was the manager, causing a scene yelling in the face of one the members of staff who was clearly run off her feet in a very busy time and doing her best despite it looking like they were understaffed for the rush. This was obviously no one’s fault but potentially the managers for not scheduling more people but I didn’t see anyone complaining or making a fuss. As someone who has worked in service myself I thought that it was quite frankly out of order and I was horrified to see someone behaving like that to an employee in front of customers let alone how he must act when people aren’t around !!! The altercation from the man made me and everyone at my table as well as other customers near us visibly uneasy and my partner wanted to complain but I thought the young lady might get in trouble and so instead we just left. Luckily a couple mins walk away towards the pier there’s a lovely place called shelter hall which does very good espresso martinis and still has a nice outdoor area if you’re up for that! so we could finish my trip on a positive note. definitely won’t be returning or recommending this place to anyone! It quite frankly nearly ruined the trip.

Generally i really enjoy this place, the drinks and the atmosphere most of the time is really positive and friendly, however i came in a couple of days ago with friends and we witnessed some bald guy who looked like a manager shouting and talking to the staff members very disrespectfully, and to see that as a customer is gross behaviour. It is unacceptable to talk to staff like this and it seemed like the staff were trying really hard to get things done as it was incredibly busy. Honestly makes me not want to come back here only because of that, it ruins the vibe to see stuff like that. Either be professional and talk inside and not in front of people enjoying their time, or speak nicer to your co workers.

I have been here before many times and generally it has been good, however today was a bit of a letdown. My husband and I approached the bar, the barman didn't even bother to say hello. He had a fairly big order to do so we gave him a couple of minutes and asked if we could be seated in one of the igloos. He said yes and I assumed he'd unlock the igloo when he'd completed the order - nope, he took a phone call and walked away. Considering the length of time it would take to unlock the door or just let us know that he was busy I was surprised and disappointed he just ignored us. There were 7 of us in total, so we just walked away. Shame.
