We visited the function room for a friends 40th. A great view, love music and atmosphere.

expensive drinks and me and my friend waited at the bar for nearly 15 with the staff serving people whod been waiting less than us and blatantly ignored us

Tonight we stepped away to use the toilet just before closing time, a staff member with a pony tail took my expensive sunglasses from the table and gave them to his friend who wasn’t even working there to keep, instead of returning them to behind the bar. Thankfully, we noticed quickly and managed to get them back, but only after confronting them, she pulled them out her pocket. All within 5 minutes of going to the toilet. This was not a mistake. It was a deliberate, shady attempt to steal something valuable, and the way the staff member handled it was appalling no apology, no accountability. Even though I got my sunglasses back, the experience left a terrible impression. If this is how the staff act when they think no one’s looking, I wouldn’t trust them with anything. Love the venue but avoid this place.

This place is nice to go and sit outside ( when it's warm enough) and listen to the live acts that perform there. There are some beach huts you can sit in that have heating. You can order drinks online and the waiting staff bring your order to the table. The drinks are watered down. The toilets are gender neutral (you'll need toilet paper) they're not the most hygienic, it's nice to go and experience some of the live acts

This is a decent venue if you want to enjoy live music and just drink. The food wasn't great, mostly it was just chips.

Toilets are bit of a joke funny old set up. But watched a singer called Issac frank who was very good had a good afternoon in the sun

Took our order and out payment when we arrived we received one coke and the food fairly promptly given how busy it was. We then waited 35 minutes on 2 coffees ordered at the same time. Then we had to produce our card payment receipt as we paid a member of staff and didn’t do it on the app. Still waiting now 40 minutes after paying for it.

To be on a sunny day it is a great place. We went on a Wednesday and they had a guy playing the guitar and the truth is that we had a very good half day. And the service was very fast and attentive. A place to enjoy the air and the sun while watching the sea

Loved this place; stumbled on it by accident on a cold but sunny February day, sat outside under a heater and listened to a charming young singer with a beautiful voice, whilst drinking a tea or something else.

Bueno, en todo mi tiempo de comer fuera nunca había experimentado una comida tan horrible, frío y crudo Fish and Chips uno de los alimentos favoritos de Britons National, solo para que le dieran pescado frío crudo y papas fritas empapadas. No habíamos ido a Brighton en un tiempo y pensamos que habría sido bueno tener una comida británica tradicional justo al lado del mar, algunos miembros del personal estaban claramente corriendo una vuelta María era tan comprometida con la gente, mientras que un hombre en pantalones cortos estaba junto a una vaina de mensajes de texto cada vez y a medida que la gente se acercaba a él claramente no les dio ningún servicio al cliente mucho menos tiempo, ya que estaba enviando mensajes de texto cada oportunidad que obtuvo claramente cuando la gente pasaba, esto no dio a la compañía una buena mirada en absoluto, nunca ayudó al personal a su alrededor, no estaba seguro de que parecía que trabajaba allí en su atuendo vestido, entonces pedimos un miembro del personal apresurado de sus pies para el gerente, nos sorprendió mucho que era el hombre de la vaina jugando en el teléfono vino, le explicamos cuál era el problema y dijo que no hay problema que reembolsaremos, que NUNCA OCURRIÓ y ahora es el 2 de marzo y todavía NO REEMBOLSO la comida era 38. 50 , al mirar alrededor pudimos ver que el 60 por ciento de los alimentos no se comían, seguramente esa es una señal que alguien debería estar mirando, con lo siguiente que tengo nunca podría recomendar este TIPO DE LUGARES PARA GASTAR DINERO ALGUNO en comer. Asqueroso : ( la gente trabaja duro para que haya dinero y no podemos permitirnos desperdiciar dinero así, tenemos familiares y amigos viniendo pero TODOS nos mantendremos alejados del tipo de lugar para comer.

Best vegan and gluten-free burger I’ve ever had. I went for the Ariana Grande burger (much to the amusement of my partner) and it was delicious. Very moist, chutney, vegan cheese, salad, pickle in the burger. Flavoursome burger bun - with sesame seeds. Reasonably priced. Food came quickly too. Great for a quick bite while watching the sunset.

These were taken outside of the music hall. They have good singers and great service, including table service for drinks when you are in the pods. People friendly and such a lovely place to visit

We had an "igloo" and though there was a small space heater it was very cold. Also considering it was a birthday indicated in the booking as form requested, bit disappointing not to have any decoration or cake etc. On the plus side, food was good value, albeit basic, and music was great. Would try again in the summer but don't recommend out of season

This place has it all.....Great bar ,great outdoor area and fantastic staff. It's January, freezing cold but we've just used a pod to drink and keep warm then moved to one of their beach huts - free, and kept warm by using the TV and karaoke machine inside the hut!. What a great place to socialise in the Winter. The kids loved singing and we were happy. The staff were brilliant and accommodating. This is a gem of a place and we'll be back for sure. Thanks for a fantastic day.

Disappointing, I went for a Christmas work do and definitely wasn't as good as last year. The atmosphere was extremely poor, food wasn't great and just not a good experience really

I am giving 2 star, one for the services, excellent services; and one for the singer, amazing voice and very entertaining; however, the food is horrendous. Nothing is cooked; everything is reheated or pre packed and put straight on the plate. Actually, I had a terrible indigestion the next day. Maybe a good place for drinks and listen music but avoid the food.

this is a lovely place to eat, great atmosphere and amazing pods to sit outside. i could hear the live music from the pods while looking at the sea. i was served by Carl, he was very welcoming and polite and i look forward to coming again.

The singing was great although the service was very slow it was like they didn’t care about their customers. The food (apart from the mozzarella sticks) was disgusting and cold by the time we got it. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this.

Brighton Music Hall Brighton Music Hall - Thank you to managers Kelly & Cian for finding us a space in the beach hut for our roasts. The dog was gobsmacked with how good (and big) his doggy roast was!! All 3 adults said they would 100% return, due to the portion sizes, endless gravy at no extra cost, food quality, friendly staff (including waitress Maria), hot toddy drink selections (including 0% options) and of course the live entertainment from Ophelia Payne 10/10 from us 👌

Thanks to Jade for running a smooth bar for my 50th birthday celebration. Reserved an area upstairs for 4 hours on Saturday and all food & drinks served with a smile. Couldn’t have been any better. Highly recommend this seafront venue

Just enjoyed Drag Roast at the Music Hall with excellent food and performance from Ophelia. We were really well looked after by Olivia and the team. The kids especially enjoyed the chocolate fondue! We will be back....

Low quality greasy food for high prices, grub and crumbs of food all over the table, slightly angled seats in the hut so you slip off them, rude manager, terrible and ugly AI generated images everywhere. More specifically the bread on my kebab was stale and tough, the salad on said kebab contained raw cabbage which had been prepped so long ago it had oxidised. There is also a 50p music charge that isn’t unreasonable but they go to great lengths to not tell you about it. My sister who had the tomato and basil soup with cheesy toast also had a terrible experience, the bread was untoasted and the cheese was burnt and rubbery. The plates and other crockery was also grubby The decor is repulsive, AI generated images line the walls and menu and the fake flower decor on the ceiling is COVERED IN MOULD. The windows were also broken which could easily be a safety hazard. The music is fine though.

Fabulous place right next to the beach. Great facilities with outdoor seating, beach huts for dining and "igloos'. Chilled place to have a drink and/ or some food and listen to good, live music.

10/10 A big thank you to Kelly and all her staff. We drove all the way from Whitstable in Kent to have a Drag Sunday roast in an Igloo. Ophelia Payne was wonderful, the atmosphere and food were great, reasonably priced for drinks and food. I would highly recommend it. A little gem of a place. 😃👍

Fantastic time had at Brighton Music Hall this past Saturday, working with Sophie to hire the upstairs of the venue to celebrate my 30th birthday, which was perfect, we had the space to ourselves, as well as our own bar. Thoroughly enjoyable time made all the better thanks to the bar service of Jade throughout, and Nick helping with the setting up of the venue for my celebration. Would highly recommend Brighton Music Hall for a similar event, for the fantastic venue (the location on the seafront, as well as the venue itself), its great staff, Jade and Nick especially, and its selection of good and drink.

On Sunday I had the pleasure of dining at Brighton Music Hall for their first week of winter roasts!! I Dined here last year for their roasts and really enjoyed to food and atmosphere. But this year was even better!! I went for the Roast Pork and it was absolutely insane! Pork was cooked to perfection, wasn’t chewy like some other places. The potatoes and veg were equally as good, very moreish. But the absolute winner for me was the cauliflower cheese! the cheese sauce was perfect and having it on the same place pairing it with the gravy was just soooo good. A brilliant roast and a drag show, whats not to love about this place. Being a student I typically don’t dine out much, but I can safely say I will be coming back! The Drag roasts are a must go if you’re a resident or a tourist coming down to Brighton. The staff are so lovely, I was served by Maddie whose service was top notch. I will be recommending the venue and roasts to my friends and family. Don’t miss out this winter :)

We had a wonderful experience at Brighton music hall and were thoroughly entertained by Ophelia during our Sunday roast. (She is quite hilarious and was so good with balancing humour for the kids versus adults.) Staff were super friendly and attentive and the children really enjoyed their fondue in the igloo! The place is dog friendly too which is great. Would highly recommend!

Came here after hearing great things about the live music and I wasn’t disappointed. Sat and watched a guy singing with a guitar and he was fantastic! Got some food and drinks also which were spot on! Will defiantly be coming back!

We were walking along the beach and heard live signer, which brought us to Music Hall. We ordered our drinks from an app at the table which was nice touch and within a couple of mins our drinks at the table. Staff was very polite. Drinks on the pricey side as expected and happy to pay. We will definitely be back every time we visit Brighton.

Went to the first drag roast of 2024 and was fab! Great food and drinks and the drag show was very entertaining and a great add on for a Sunday lunch in Brighton

Fantastic venue. Attended for apres ski theme that they are doing for winter. Ski chalets / igloos/ amazing chocolate fondues. Extensive winter warmer menu. Give it a try. X

We held our 50th birthday party at this venue at the weekend. It was a huge success, everybody loved the venue, the location and the views. We hired the bar on the first floor. The staff were amazing and a top night was had by all. Thanks to the team. We’ll be back.

A bit shabby, fast-food although cheese platters were nice. Excellent singers, good choice of beers and drinks.

I visited the Brighton Music Hall for a drag bingo event and had a wonderful time. Drinks could be ordered to the table and the food was nice. The entertainment was great and my friend won the main prize. The manager was very friendly and made the night enjoyable.

Shitty cocktails 2 for 15 pounds in plastic cups

We went with the family last week 27th August we reserved the Nipa blue hut. Everyone ordered fish and chips apart from my daughter. She ordered the salt and pepper squid. Later that night she had such a bad diarrhea and continues vomiting. I am 100% sure it's because of that squid, because she never have anything else to eat after having that squid. I did send email to the management but no action has been done. We probably got a squid that was contaminated or left overnight. Also please check the glasses make sure there is no more lipstick marked on it. We've been coming to Brighton at least 3x a year and This is the first time coming into these restaurant and and we were so looking forward to it, but after this awful experience we will not coming back ever again and we will not recommend to anyone. I'm sorry but as a mum it breaks my heart seeing my daughter suffer so much after that food poisoned. I hope no one else ever have to experienced that so please do check your kitchen.

Nice venue to sit and have a drink / meal while watching live music which seems to play all day (visited on a Sat). While you can book a table you can also turn up and find any free table. You can walk up to the bar to order drinks or scan the QR code on your table and order through their website. When we were there on a Sat their did seem to be a lot of hen & stag parties, so it was quite lively.

Went for pride and there was a great atmosphere, lots of fun great outside space. The staff are really friendly, was served by Jade who was lush, chatted away with us about Pride and recommended us drinks!

Environment is great me and my friends come here a lot, but recently the staff seem to have changed. The woman with a clipboard at the front telling people where to go to was very unhelpful, had a very aggressive tone and didn’t seem to care about anything other than being rude and demanding. Kind of put us off and we left shortly before our reservation was supposed to end.

Nice place but they don’t take cash so I couldn’t spend my money there.

Great big open space with a variety of drink options & you can order via phone @ your table which is useful. I've found some of the singers a bit hit & miss but if you want to sit outside in the sunshine with some pals & music then it's great.

Good love music. But bar needs to sort out their soft drink situation. Draught taps were all flat & attitude from staff is 'so what, it's been like that all day'. Paid for a pint of coke but ended up with a can of pepsi.

Really like the atmosphere here and the live music with sun and a drink is fantastic. Unfortunately drinks aren't really consistent on two days in a row we ordered some drinks the first being the Pimm's and then the rum redbull cocktail and for some reason on the second ordering of each drink it was completely different colour and taste . Along side this I ordered a vodka lime cordial and soda and they just added lots of limes and failed to tell me this was because they run out of lime. They done this with my partners cocktail as well as didn't have the liquor for it so used watermelon one which was lovely but what if he had an allergy ! . I really appreciate it's so busy but they need to be a little more careful

Visited pride weekend with two children in tow. Great menu, reasonably priced, and great cocktail carafes. The service is quick and we ordered via the app. Great to have live music on the beachfront.

Went to see Carl Cox. Not enough toilets or staff. Drinks massively overpriced. Decent stage and sound system but should be much better organised.

Only giving one star , as although location and atmosphere is nice on a sunny day , you MUST BE AWARE , they add a charge every time you order drinks as a “music charge” although it is not signed anywhere . This is in addition to the collection by the singers when they finish a set . If happy , carry on. If not happy with this , find another bar .
