Really disappointing recent experience. Have been here a few times over the years and always felt the food was good. Our recent early evening visit for food was bad though, sadly. Pizza dough was tough like it was old or overworked, so it was a job to eat. The cod main was so dry, and you didn't even need to try it to see how dry it was as the cod was shrivelled up. The rest of the ingredients in that dish were also really dry and just quite tasteless. Super disappointing. Three stars for location, atmosphere, and cocktails.

Came for a quiz night on Tuesday 25th October, hosted by the brilliant (and rather handsome) Jack - and was a fantastic evening! Delicious food, brilliant cocktails by Nathan, brilliant service by the waiters and waitress, fantastic evening all round! Can’t wait to come back

me my boyfriend and my friends came for the quiz, nathan and millie were super knowledgeable on the drinks, and ffion took all our food orders, and was super helpful in regards to allergies. quiz master jack meyer was also great!

Good place for a simple meal and a pint. Friendly and fast service. Goose Island IPA on draught and succulent lamb. Decently priced. Less than £60 for a meal for two, starters and beers included.

We booked this place for a birthday meal. We were greeted and sat and asked about allergies, which is great because many places forget to do this as my partner has a severe nut allergy. As we’re ordering the manager comes over to check its allergen safe for my partner (amazing)! The drinks are sensational, and the attention to detail on the food is amazing. I found myself unable to eat dessert after the main, which is rare for me!

BrewStone has been a staple of our local social life for years - consistently great quality, lovely staff (shout out to Maddy), and prices that don't make your wallet cry. It's the venue that made me fall in love with proper Tequila, and introduced me to Mezcal. Plenty of good offers on the app (especially on your birthday 😎), it's a must visit when considering a relaxed place for a drink or some food in Uplands.

Risotto freshly cooked so service delayed but end result was delicious 😋 a treat for us all

I've had both brunch and dinner here on a few occasions. I've always been equally happy with both servings. Reasonably priced, stylish restaurant in the trendy area of Uplands. Service has been a little slow more than once, in terms of waiting for a drink, or asking multiple times for the bill..

Millie was a great bartender, she had excellent service. Our drinks were out of this world.

Matthew started our night off well and was very attentive, he then showed us to the bar which was lovely. Nathan & Millie were so nice and accommodating. Definitely recommend coming here if you want a vibrant but chilled evening!

Good food reasonably priced. 3 tapas are good as a small main course. The 3 mini desserts were just the right size for us to have 1 each and not feel "cheated". We had booked ahead but this wasn't really necessary early on a Friday evening.

Matthew and Alice’s service was exceptional. Very friendly and were very friendly and helped my group a lot with the menu. Highly recommend!

Food/breakfast was alright, a little... I dunno... Dry, I guess. Prob because the baked(?) beans has no sauce left meaning there was a distinct lack of yummy lubricant. I will say though - the chap serving us - Matt was probably the nicest and most professional person I have ever been served by (and I have worked in as well as run hospitality related postgraduate degrees for a long time). My family of four each gave different intolerances and/or dietary requirements and he listened, offered us lots of alternatives and ensured that whatever we got was okay for the relevant person who ordered... Furthermore he was lovely to our children and made them feel like the experience was theirs as well. Top notch service! Would return just for more of that service!

All was going well , then I found a piece of hard plastic in my lamb dish, the manager apologised and said we didn't have to pay our bill, we approached the waitress to pay for our drinks and she said that the manager had changed her mind and said she would only discount the meal with the plastic in, the waitress told me that the plastic had come from one of the food preparation machines upstairs, the manager was all of a sudden unavailable to discuss our complaint further, we paid the bill and left, shocking outcome and very unprofessional, I am very disappointed, shame on you! Still haven't had a reply, I would highly recommend that you don't visit this restaurant!!! There is no parking , like other reviews suggest.

Food is abysmal. Many items not fresh eg meatballs tasted stale, sometimes rancid and definitely overcooked. I assume many items are cooked from frozen. Server asked if food was ok, after I said "not really" and explained why they simply said sorry and walked away. Drinks are nice but our cocktails took 40 mins to come.

Love this place. Great tapas and food choices. Brilliant music and efficient staff. Good ambience and allow dogs inside.

I'm not sure what happened, but the kitchen must have had a really bad day. I had a beef burger. The bread was stale and the patty was probably a frozen patty with low meat percentage. No dressing or mayo inside the burger, therefore very dry. The side salad was lettuce with sea salt, again no dressing or vinaigrette. No tomatoes, no cucumber. Just lettuce, with brown edges. My wife had fishcakes (salmon and sweet potato), they were a joke. You already read about the side salad. But hey, the wedges were interesting. Three wedges, that were very burnt, almost black. Our kids food was ok. The only positive was the waitress, she was very polite and did her job well. We chose this restaurant based on previous ratings, but they were not even close to our experience today.

I just had to write a review of my recent visit to Brewstone in the Uplands. Contacting the restaurant beforehand, due to concerns regarding time restrictions during my daughters lunchbreak, a table was booked and our food order was taken over the phone, to arrive at the time of our booking by the very lovely Matthew. The huge amount of food we ordered was all amazing, and Matthew ensured both courses were served, and the bill presented all within the hour. So a big shout out to Matthew and all the staff that day that made our visit such an enjoyable one, it was very much appreciated, and we will definitely be back soon 😀 x

Its just a bottomless brunch to most venues but to brew stone they made us feel like we were the only customers there even tho it was busy. The attention to detail was second to none the consistency of drinks, speed of service and quality of food went way above what we would expect. Our experience was not down to one staff its all the staff from Gemma to Natalie to Jack and Millie but i also need to mention Jess. I almost feel like Jess recognises our booking and ensures we have our favourite seat and all the other staff are tuned into that way of thinking making us the customer feel special.

Had a lovely experience at this restaurant, the service was exceptional, and they gave us a free shot for our birthday. Would love to come again, thanks for a wonderful evening

Came for breakfast while in Swansea for the weekend. Fantastic prices and enjoyable atmosphere. Staff very friendly and polite. Brew stone breakfast for £10 was great value and tasted great. Would recommend for any visitors to Swansea area. Also to note, free parking at the rear, just remember to register your reg inside
