Came for our lunch and it was busy but we didn't have to wait long and the food was beautiful. James at the bar was lush and couldn't do enough for us, even refilled our drinks as our food had arrived. Would definitely recommend and will be back. X

Lovely place to take the family too, all the staff are welcoming and out server Matilda was exceptional. The manager James went above and beyond, personally taking the time to check everything was OK. The play area for the children was kept clean and staff were constantly checking. Food excellent and good value for money

Great service at till. Value for money with the dishes ordered, steak. Highly recommend if staying at the Premier Inn. Also, if you order breakfast from Premier Inn can get a meal deal on 2 course dinner.

This place is amazing to go to that is local, we have been coming here since I was just a kid so this place is very memorable for me, it’s changed so much but for the better and the Christmas decorations are beautiful.

On a business trip and stayed over at the premier inn in Sunderland and bobbed into the brewers fayre next door, greeted with a smile, staff were fantastic especially Sophie as nothing was a chore, food was tasty.

Sophie was great and food was okay. Prices were cheap enough and refillable drinks are worth it. Definitely coming again

Usual generic chain pub food. All out of a bag. If you think the foods 'fantastic' as in some of these reviews, you need to get out more. Bar staff friendly. Serving staff just bring food. No asking how is everything? etc. About 4 sakt & peppers for 30 tables lol. Bar prices good.

We’ve just eaten at this Brewers Fayre and I want to give a shout out to the Barman called James. He was really patient when I was ordering lots of food and drinks with a huge line of people behind me. He helped me sort a discount code, which made a big difference and was really appreciated.

Fantastic service from Tom. Friendly and very helpful. Chef presented the steak to perfection. The whole dinning experience was and the staff were so attentive.

Lovely place for a family meal, the staff are warm and welcoming, great soft play area which is staffed at all times, allowing you peace of mind while the children play. James was very welcoming and ensured we were happy throughout.The food was really tasty and definitely value for money, my husband and I ordered from the carvery while the children had a kids meal from the menu and all of us left with very full bellies!! Looking forward to our next visit. Would highly recommend!

Really friendly bar staff, great casual atmosphere nothing was too much trouble. Clean environment and someone always there to help if needed.

Have been a few times for toddler morning on Mondays. My little one has really enjoyed it each time and the staff are really friendly. Well worth the money with unlimited adults hot drinks too!

A great way to end the great day my boys and I were having! Food, the carvery, was lovely. Desserts were 5 star and didn't have to wait long! Such a good and positive experience. My little boy had the steak, which was cooked perfectly medium rare. He said the garlic bread was one of the best he’s had. Tom, on the bar, was amazing. Such a good guy. Engaged with Joshua and made us both laugh. Personally brought the frozen yogurt to the table. Will definitely be back!

After a long night laying train tracks I jumped into bed around 6am. I was then woken at 11 by my wife who politely reminded me that we had a family birthday lunch to attend. Feeling tired I wasn't expecting much from the day, Enter James (bar person). This man is a legend among men, obviously sensing my weariness James smile lit up the whole venue on our arrival. Cracking jokes like he was Ricky Gervais hosting the Oscars again, only this time he was dressed like Phil Mitchell. The food was great, the kids enjoyed the soft play and we will definitely be back again. Take a bow James

We come to The Wessington often as our little one enjoys the softplay, we always receive a warm welcome from the staff here regardless of it being busy or not. Louise and Abbie are always friendly and remember our drinks order and ask how we are which is kind of them. Claire and Carla are fantastic with the little ones in the softplay, and take time to chat with the little one and us. This place has a lovely bunch of staff.

Great for families. Soft play keeps little ones entertained. Friendly service with staff who always point you in the right direction.

When for Mother’s Day, quite a few of us who went for lunch, ( a booking of 10) . We had a fantastic lunch, we had a very pleasant and friendly waiter called Ethan who made our day go so smoothly! There was a slight issue when our deserts arrived ( mixed up order ) which we all understood due to it been very busy , but Ethan was fantastic , sorted it out for us with no hassle at all ! 10/10 the the young waiter he made our Mother’s Day at the wessington fabulous , great service .
