Good atmosphere and a good set of customers. Jamming nights are fantastic and a must attend! Top barman or barperson (to be politically correct) award must go to 'big Phil' who serves a fantastic pint of Guinness!

Excellent Pub & Hache Food is brilliant!

Booth and I decided to walk 15 minutes out of Urmston to try this micro bar. Four real ales. Two from Beartown Brewery in Congleton plus a house session beer that we tried..it was OK. ( Beartown?) They had Bateman's XB from Lincolnshire on this visit but only came on after I ordered. Wine was disappointing as well. One room bar seats about 36 plus similar out front. One TV. Can hire out the bar. Pipped music. Needs some TLC. There is a small kitchen but no sign of food being served on this visit.

Im a gay man based in London , i was working in Manchester for a week and popped in to this bar hoping for some good food and friendly Northern banter. I didnt realise what i was walking into . The land lady (i assume ) as she was a lot older than the other staff , red head , had a lot of work done and gave off an air of owning the place ,, well she was so rude to me when i dared complain after i"d waited over 30 mins for my food order , justified as there were only 2 people in there so hardly rushed off their feet . She took umbrage at my complaint and said " i tell you what i'll just cancel the order then , why dont you sod off down to centre stage or bar pop (gay bars in Manchester ) you'll fit in better there anyway " To say i was shocked is an under statement , I have been lucky enough to get through life without any homophobic abuse so far , it has left me upset and furious that this woman dare talk to me like that . You just dont expect it in this day and age '>. Im hoping it was just her being bigoted and embittered rather than a northern thing . If youre gay dont go to this bar .

Lovely independent bar serving a wide array of cask ales, drought beers, spirits and wines, as well as coffees and delicious food. Hosts a number of events such as, a buzzing quiz night on Wednesdays and the infamous ChimpJam on Tuesdays alongside one off events that pack the place and take the roof off! Friendly staff and one hell of a good time!

Excellent burgers and beer. I did have to pop home for a booster for the baby because there wasn't a high chair, but I understand why they don't have one. Only thing missing was finishing off the wings on the grill, otherwise all excellent. Great place to visit.

Ordered food through the shocal app a few times and everything has always been super tasty. Their spiced rum wings are genuinely to die for!

What happened to a good old traditional English pub, this is just more of those micro breweries “Garbage” over priced beer that tastes like urine in a converted shop “Thrilling” they’ll be fitting out Portaloos next.

My partner went in at 5pm on a Friday because me and him wanted a drink and wanted to support a small business instead of the Roebuck. Despite there being a lot of free tables he got told that we couldn't even have a drink! This isn't even a covid thing because last time we went t(on a Saturday night before lockdown) they said no as well, all the tables are either reserved for regulars or inexplicably empty!!!! I just think they don't want our business because we're young and have a little one. Not going back & not recommended!!!!

Small venue but big atmosphere. Great intimate bar with a stunning array of continental draft beers, lagers and a gin drinker's paradise. The management and staff make you feel really welcome and are very capable. Quirky little gaff😏

Great choice of ales...only negative is since they started serving food people stay on the tables longer and its standing room only.

Really great local bar. The atmosphere is electric, the bar well stocked with a huge array of gins, beers and ales. They have also started serving food, we haven't tried this yet, but it looked good. The bar staff are really friendly and make your evening feel extra special, one guy especially was really good and made a lot of conversation with us, an asset to brewchimp. They also have a selection of board games which is a quirky and fun addition. Our family from Scotland came in with us on Saturday night and we had a thoroughly lovely time. Would highly recommend this little gem.

Yep, this one is a keeper. Lovely little, relaxed bar with a great range of ales, lagers, wines and spirits. My pilsner came in a proper, chilled, glass which makes all the difference. Music wasn't too loud or intrusive and the place had a nice buzz of chatting without any shouters... Not much else around but worth the short walk from Urmston.

Nice beer ( I has session beer which was ideal for a school night and less than £3). Quiet, but it was a Tuesday. Open Mike night with 5 guitarists strumming away.

A nice small local bar. They have a selection of craft brew beer on keg, a couple of cask beers and cider. The prices aren't bad and the service is good. The place is well decorated and a comfortable place to sit.
