Breeze Mezze Bar & Grill in Waltham Forest

Only went for a coffee but ended up having dinner. The waitress Naz was wonderful. She gave us all the menus and there was no pressure to choose quickly. The lamb combo was exceptional, the best lamb chop that I have eaten for many years. Thank-you.

Awful, been before and yet again let itself down, my friends birthday meal ruined by a surly waitress, not sure if the same one mentioned previously. She wiped crumbs on us, was sarcastic , reached over people to serve food which was not necessary. False smile and you could see her grimacing as she left the table. When we dared to complain after being told the birthday girls dinner would arrive later than the rest of us because of a group booking upstairs she didn’t like it and was observed speaking about us rudely to the other staff. Thankfully after that we were served by a happier member of staff but the night had already been ruined by her. I complained at end to hopefully the manager about her.

The food was very good, but the standoffish, officious attitude of staff was a severe deterrent to a return visit. To be welcoming, friendly and efficient would cost nothing.

Visited breeze turkish restaurant in larkshall Road for a friend's birthday .my goodness what a rude waitress !!!! The aircon was on full heat we were roasting , so asked for it be be turned off , completely ignored us !!! Although did turn it off . Was very standoffish all evening not smiling , food very basic and overpriced. Won't be returning.

Regrettably, I can confirm that it stands out as the most disappointing dining experience I have encountered to date. If it were possible, I would give it a rating of 0 to accurately reflect my overall dissatisfaction. Allow me to elaborate on the aspects that led to my unfavorable impression. Firstly, the service provided by the restaurant's staff was characterised by rudeness and a lack of accommodation. While I acknowledge that our party was running behind schedule, such circumstances should not justify an unwelcoming and cold demeanor from the staff, especially considering it was meant to be a celebratory occasion. This contrasts starkly with the friendly and amiable attitude displayed during our initial viewing and consultation, leaving me bewildered by the inconsistency. Furthermore, the organisation and care for customer experience were sorely lacking. For instance, one of my guests had preordered lamb Beyti, but was served lamb Adana instead. Even when we brought this to the manager's attention, they attempted to deceive us by insisting that the dish was indeed Beyti, revealing an alarming lack of integrity. Sadly, this was just one of many instances where they seemed more interested in maximising profits at the expense of delivering a quality dining experience. The food itself left much to be desired, eliciting disappointment from the majority of the approximately 40 guests in attendance. Cold dishes were served, and despite our request, the staff refused to reheat them. Additionally, there were instances of serving food that had gone bad, and certain dishes like the ribs were excessively fatty with minimal meat content. The lamb shank turned out to be soggy, and the chicken was overly salty, further compounding our dissatisfaction. In reflecting on the restaurant's initial favorable impression during our initial meeting, it is unfortunate that I cannot offer any positive sentiments about our actual dining experience. My unequivocal recommendation is to avoid Breeze, especially if considering it as a venue for hosting private events. While they may claim to have no hire costs, be cautious, as they have shown a propensity to overcharge customers through various means. I sincerely hope that others do not have to endure the embarrassment and disappointment that I experienced during what should have been one of the most joyous days of my life – my graduation celebration. Instead, I found myself returning home that night in tears, as this unfortunate experience tarnished what should have been a memorable milestone. After all the hard work and stress that accompanied my postgraduate qualification, I had hoped to share the achievement with loved ones in a celebratory atmosphere. However, Breeze failed to deliver on this expectation, leaving me profoundly disheartened.

I am Turkish I was jus passing by it’s look amazing restaurant internal design unbelievable nice any way went in I order a mixed kebab it’s was a joke i sad my self firstly but it’s wasn’t 3 pieces chicken 3 pieces lamb and solid rock rice no test at all never again I recommend you if you around make sure ask first size of portions

Went to the Breeze, Larkshall Rd E4, for a surprise 60th & 80th birthday dinner & party (Sat 24/06/23) They should rename the restaurant to: the Calamity or the Take On. The function room was supposed to be vacant @ 5pm, but the previous party still going on, we got in the @ 5.35pm, with the room being a total mess left by the previous party, the two people who's suprise party it was for, due to arrive @ 6pm (Very lucky they got caught in traffic). The mass clean up & then decorating of the hall completed @ 6.10pm. We were charged £48 per head for hardly any food at all, the portions a small as possible (Must be working on a 100% profit margin), the two suprise guests arrived luckily late @ 6.30pm, the starter to share with other people?, we recieved @ 6.45pm. We had the very small main meal served @ 8pm & the desert to share with other people again, was served @ 9.30pm. (We had to vacat the hall @ 11pm) I was charged the 1st 3 glasses of Prosecco (for my wife) down stairs in the actual restaurant when we arrived £6.90 a glass, when we went into the hall upstairs, the price began @ £6.49 then changed to £6.90 then later changed to £7.29 then to £7.49, this when I had to say something, don't know how many other guests this was done to, but the bar staff later not registering sales, not giving receipts just tapping customer cards plus the restaurant nor especially the function hall, did not have an official drinks price list on show @ the bar (Which they should by law). I was buying also for myself pints of Efes lager, which was £5.50 later decided to go easy & change to smaller bottles of beer, so began to drink bottles of Efes beer instead of draght pints, the small bottles were £5.50 the same price as a pint? 0/10

Too noisy food isn’t great and the private parties they was hosting on the night was too loud. Food is pretty basic

We went to Breeze for my mum’s birthday in November. It was a really nice meal. Between us we had grilled octopus, grilled halloumi, steaks, mixed kebab and a lamb shank. Each of us said how amazing our food was. Fairly reasonably priced as well. I will definitely go again.

Once a month, I went to this restaurant. The food was good and the service friendly. Today my mind changed after I ordered takeaway food. The Ezme salad was filled with water (the water was running out of the packaging) and when I started eating, I saw an olive there, a piece of roasted onion, something that shouldn’t be in it, which means only one thing, I got leftovers from other customers. Disgusting!!!!!!! The shrimps I ordered were uncleaned and each of the three shrimps was with feces!! The soup, which I didn’t even taste, ended up in the trash can because I won’t eat the leftovers from their tables!!! Avoid this restaurant and especially takeaway dishes!! I feel sick and disgusted.

Cannot fault the food but whole meal and occasion was ruined when the bill came . I was told no breakfast , tried to order a burger … no burgers , wrap….. no wrap We both opted for the lunch menu picked starters and main from the list. Bill came quite extortionate I couldn’t make out why it was so much . It seemed to be added up wrong , no what the waitress had done was charge us for the starter and mains separately. When we queried it apparently our fault when we ordered ! Go figure! Took a lot of adding up by the waitress wasn’t rocket science to see what she had done. Portions very small we left hungry! Service charge very high- 8 children finished their meals leaving 12 adults waiting for main meal up to an hour later .... poor. Had to ask numerous times for birthday cake as children had to leave, imagine birthday cake being eaten whilst adults still had not received starters. Rude male staff in football kit! For the amount we spending only had one attentive lady whom was doing everything,the men were very rude and aggressive. It was a birthday with nearing 20 paying guests, spent in Region of 700 not even a free cola for the birthday boy. Would not recommend will not go again ..... Plenty other tasty Turkish places this just lures you in with the decor....don't be fooled

If you’re not happy with something and complain, be prepared for the backlash from the rude woman in this restaurant. She had no consideration for other customers while she ranted at me when I made a complaint. She wouldn’t let me get a word in, talking over me and her opinion of customers, and I quote, “the customer is not right no”. Really? Grabbed my money quick enough!
