Not fresh and almond croissant was soggy and couldn’t taste any almonds

Dry and stale or wet and sloppy. Horribly dissappointing.

I’ve seen this place a few times and never had the chance to visit. This time I had to try something because the bread and cakes look great. I tried the peach frangipanis and it was delicious. Shame that the lady serving me was a little sour faced but it’s all about the cake.

I am very shocked at how i was dealt with. I made 3 enquiries online before i was reached out too as i had to chase this up myself. I wanted to make an big order as we have a big meeting at work in one of our Birmingham offices - i was given bank details to transfer money but i tried to explain to the gentleman over the phone we have a business online virtual card and it does not allow me to make online transfers. i explained we worked with various different catering companies before and they usually send us over a invoice and we can make payment over the phone. The gentleman named Nohman spoke over me and did not let me speak and was shouting down the phone to me and called me 'Dodgy'. he then texted my work phone and also said i was 'dodgy'. this is the first time a catering company has dealt with me like this. I am an office admin for my company and it is my duties to order food for big meetings etc and not one company has dealt with me like this before, the customer service is very poor from Nohman and very unprofessional. i tried to also tell him our Company name and where we was based just to reassure Nohman but he was very rude, speaking back at me and did not let me get a word in. I wish i recorded the phone call. Our company will not be ordering from this bakery shop. its such a shame because the food looks amazing and we really wanted to purchase crossaints/pain au chocolat for all of our staff but because of Nohman, i will be avoiding this. I have also made my manager aware of this.

I would say it's the most tasty passion fruit tart I've ever had. My son took me for a casual lunch during his work, and he asked me to choose something from this lovely place. To be honest, it made my day; I enjoyed every little bite of this artisan creation. Highly recommend!

Als Deutscher der in England lebt, gibt es einiges was man vermisst und dazu gehört das Brot. Durch Zufall habe ich dann den Shop gefunden und ich bin sofort zum Stammkunden geworden. Bei weitem das beste Brot was ich bislang hier bekommen habe. Die Preise sind etwas höher aber das zahle ich gerne, für diese Qualität.

Very average..dry, firm cakes. The cakes probably have been lying there for sometime. Flavor is so average...no surprise at all.

Got Croque Monsieur and Baguette 🥖. I loved it & will go back. It’s a proper French bakery (boulangerie) So, you should visit for your Frenchy bakes. Wheelchair friendly. Take out (no eat in) Very neat Easy to pick as everything is well displayed. Enjoy 😉 It was difficult finding Bread Collection but I eventually did after three days of going back and forth lol. The sign post is quite small and those within the GREAT ARCAD Didn’t even know it.

Been traveling to Birmingham from France and wanted my friend to taste some french-style bread. The rustic baguette is definitely one of the closest to french style bread you can get around here.

Very nice produce, but shockingly bad treatment from the person working in the shop. When I tried to assist my boss, a wheelchair user, in through the door, the lady stopped us from entering and said we could not come in and that my boss would take up too much space in his wheelchair and that I could enter to collect his order (his chair is compact and takes up a tiny bit more space than someone standing would). She initially refused to address my boss directly when challenged and eventually spoke to him as if he was a child! This business appears to have no idea of a disabled person's rights to enter a shop and buy items themselves, rather than ignoring them and only talking to their carer.

Fantastic bread & pastries. Staff member was helpful & happy to recommend items. We enjoyed a millionaire's shortbread which was one of the best I've ever had! We took home a white rustic baguette which was delicious. Highly recommended.

I bought a loaf of bread from here yesterday, I have always been very fastidious about my bread and I must say the taste of this bread is remarkable. Probably the best I have ever had, most definitely worth £1.95. I did ask the lady to slice it for me, she said she did not have a machine but she would slice a few by hand, which was very kind of her. I have bought cakes from here before and they are equally as wonderful as the bread. Also excellent customer service. Please go along and support these local small businesses, they desperately need your help. I will post some photos later.

Have shopped here on several occasions buying bread and patisserie, can't recall a time when I had a below par product. Recommended.

Amazing little bakery! Been going here for a while and have never been disappointed. Bread, cakes and quiche are all amazing. At Christmas time their mince pies are the best in town! They completely outshine another independent bakery in town which people rave about all over social media!

I have walked past this bread shop many times intrigued! Yesterday I decided to treat myself to some fresh bread, I bought the olive and herb bread with recommendations from the lovely shopkeeper. The bread was so delicious, it did not disappoint! The loaf has a nice crust and is so fluffy and light inside! I will definitely be going back for some more bread and next time will try the pastries too!

As a German who loves good bread, this place is a saving grace for my Birmingham experience. Get the Pumpernickel — it's such a stellar bread! The cakes and biscuits are super delicious as well. It's all around really high quality stuff and the staff is super nice!

I've been coming here for a few years now I try a bit of everything but my favourite is the banana and walnut slice but you've stopped doing them a few years ago please please please a thousand pleases bring them back! I'll be down there as you brought them back.

The cakes here are amazing. I can thoroughly recommend the passion fruit meringue tart and the lemon tart. They are beautifully presented and freshly made. Pick one up at lunch to take home for dessert and you will not be disappointed. Haven't tried the bread but have heard many good things!

Best bread in town! Rye&pumpernikel bread is my favourite and I would really recommend that. I also often buy their cakes and they are really fresh and made with good ingredients. Really recommend.

small good looking artisan bread and cake shop in the heart of Birmingham's financial and commercial centre. enjoyed a generous ham and salad ciabatta on the way back to the hotel. however the star in the crown was the the chocolate/cherry brownie.. sweet, moist, firm and tart.super. one of the nicest things i"ve tasted.friendly personal service as you might expect from an independent. enjoy!

Delicious bread including natural fresh recipes.

Popped in purchased two cakes which were £3 each and just OK and a crusty loaf . The bread which was my main purpose of visit was very disappointing , no taste , heavy . I was hoping to make it my go to bread shop as i pass most days , won't be bothering . Nice shop, pleasant lady , just not great bread sorry .
