Visited as a family to treat my parents whilst they were visiting. Great atmosphere. Exceptional service, very attentive. Glasses never empty and food was extremely prompt and very delicious. We had the lamb, duck and beef between us. All great dishes. Recommend the chicken liver parfait to start. Can’t wait to visit again with them. Thank you very much.

We were a party of a pescatarian, a vegetarian and a vegan who is allergic to mushrooms and avocado. The menu was imaginative with plenty of choice for each of us. The portions are a little on the small side which gives room for a starter, main and dessert. The quality was faultless, beautifully cooked and the drinks very reasonably priced for London. The service was very good, I will definitely return

This was our first meal out since December and it was great. The food was up to its usual standard with some new dishes and old favourites like the pistachio soufflé. It was nice to see the restaurant buzzing again and although very busy, the staff were very attentive and there were no delays. We could not have asked for more. Thanks for making our first meal out so enjoyable.

Very pleased they finally opened in late October although reopening delayed by a month so shame 2nd lockdown made them close after a about a week. Large restaurant but lighting darker than the Threadneedle Street restaurant. Service very good and food great. Souffle lovely. Got discount cos got email from them with the appropriate code, so got a lovely discounted meal. Worth a day out in the rain!

Booked the place conveniently placed opposite Southbank pre concert. Informed waiter we had to check out in 45 min to be going to concert. Ordered after 10 minutes, as short of staff due to peak time, then waited 35 minutes for our steak with fries to then leave the place later than expected. When talking to our waiter about the delay of service he then escalated to a Supervisor who then instructed us we should not have ordered a la carte. I was even instructed that my Fillet Steak "rare" would take longer than a medium rare version as "we cook it in the oven and it takes much longer" So it was all our fault.... Frankly, I would not have written the report, if we would have had a simple apology. Food by the way was good, but this is not the point for this revue.

Service was excellent and the pheasant was tender and tasty. Good quality Argentinian Malbec complemented it. However the pistachio souffle bore no resemblance to any souffle that I or my friend had ever eaten. Horribly sweet, weird texture and an alarming shade of green! Good steak and fillet.. but the portion was utterly small. For an almost 30 pound dish I would have found appropriate to accompany it with some veggies or a decent side at the very least, just for the sake of the presentation, considering the small amount of meat served.

We booked a late Sunday Lunch here as we were attending a concert at the RFH, as it was very convenient and we liked the look of the menu. We both decided to go for two courses, my husband had samosas which he liked, I had the cheese soufflè, which was disappointingly cold. Had there not been a cheese sauce with it, I'm not sure I'd have tasted any cheese! For mains, we both had the lamb roast dinner. It looked amazing when it was placed in front of us, lamb, a mini shepherd's pie and a lamb 'bon bon', with 'all the trimmings', as one would expect. However, the lamb wasn't great - a tad dry - and the lamb 'bon bon' was cold in the middle. The mini shepherd's pie was the best item on the plate! Yorkshire's were hard and dry, and the bowl of veggies in front of us was a bit mean for 2 people, with roast potatoes that were tiny and hardly roasted. We were hungry, so did eat some of the meal but, sadly, it wasn't very satisfying. We have a lovely server, which was nice, but he said we'd just missed the rush - maybe thats why the food wasn't hot and also dry? I feel that I'm erring on the positive side with giving this restaurant 3*, but I don't think we'll eat here again - there are too many places on the Southbank that serve better food. It was sadly, style over substance.

Brasserie Blanc has a useful (though noisy!) bar so it's perfect to meet friends before the meal. I was surprised about how quickly we were served once our orders were taken despite the fact that we were quite a large group - and that we were able to order from the main menu and not a dreaded 'party menu'. A few items (ones that I wanted!) were not available on the day but on the whole the menu was comprehensive and contained enough choices for one of our veggie guests. My main was delicious fish curry and most of the party had three courses so the end bill was a pleasant surprise. Recommended.

I booked a special 70th birthday lunch at Brasserie Blanc Southbank, having visited there previously. A fantastic experience ! It was all organised online and despite my initial doubts the ordering process worked just fine and on the day guests were served exactly what they had ordered. My party were offered a good selection of choices and Brasserie Blanc were very helpful regarding a few guests with special dietary requirements. On the day everything went swimmingly, leaving me (as host) free to socialise without worrying about last minute problems. I had booked a private room which added to the enjoyment of the occasion. Special thanks are due to Daniel who 'managed' the whole event. Food and drink were, naturally superb, the addition of a lighted candle to my dessert was the 'icing on the cake' (in a manner of speaking); the cost, too, was pretty reasonable for a meal of that quality. If possible I would give a rating greater than five stars. Would certainly hold a similar special celebration there again.

Three of us dined (5th time here) as a prelude to seeing a film at the BFI South Bank nearby. Two of us had the set menu and the third dined a la Carte. Food was well-prepared, hot and served quickly. We can recommend the set-menu particularly because all 3 courses (£20 inc vat) were top quality and well presented. Importantly - they were sensible portions - not too large but not small either - unlike many restaurants that use the set menu as an excuse for small portions. We dine out a lot over a wide range of restaurants and we can't praise this restaurant too highly. It has always been busy when we have been here and this adds to the atmosphere...

I had previously been here 5 years ago and was underwhelmed by both the service and the food. This time I hoped that it would be a lot better.Alas it was just as bad,in fact worse. This was a lunch to celebrate someones birthday so we had all pre ordered our food.My starter was chicken liver parfait.Good presentation but although the parfait was beautifully smooth it lacked seasoning and flavour. The overall taste was bland. The accompanyoing toasted brioche was stone cold.My main course was British pheasant with a red wine jus.I had eated just over half of the meat when I noticed that the remaining meat was bloody and raw.The waitress brought back the message from the chef that this was due to the shot? Obviously where the pheasant gets shot it will suffer trauma and bleeding and by cooking it you eliminate the blood and rawness. An honest answer would have been that it hadn,t been cooked properly.Eventually I was offered another portion but this would have put me well behind everyone else so I declined the offer. The accompanying Dauphinoise potatoes were excellent.I had chosen cheese for my final course hoping for a selection?I was served a Saint Marcellin cheese pot which was a small cheese covered in what seemed like honey but might have been quince? The cheese was swamped by the sweetness, the celery was dead, the fig and almond cake dry. The cote Du Rhone wine was nice but I hate to think what was paid for it? Hopefully I won,t have to go here again.I just wonder how often Raymond Blanc comes here on spec to try the food? My guess is that he would be very sad to see what was being served up in his name

We booked to eat before a show - unfortunately due to the time of year there were already a few Christmas parties on - thus it was very loud and busy. The Mediterranean platter starter was a small plate of houmous etc - not enough for two and very little bread - Quite a few vegetarian choices but the sweetcorn and potato fritter was more a nod to vegetarians rather than a serious bit of vegetarian cooking - bland - service was efficient but it was expensive for what we got and not sure I’ll rush to return

We dined here after visiting the Bridget Riley exhibition and before the Jan Garbarak concert in the RFH. Good location, nice atmosphere, attentive service but the food didn't quite match up to it.We had cottage pie and beef, literally! I had expected cottage pie with beef mince, but, no, there was beef as well. the meat in both dishes was excellent but the pie lacked that extra touch. My wife's is much tastier and she uses marjoram among other herbs, but there are many other options for a creative chef. It was just missing here. With the beef was a large yorkshire pudding, rather dry, not particularly tasty and, to my mind, an odd combination with the cottage pie. Vegetables fine, decently cooke but also lacking that je ne sais quoi one would expect from a restaurant of this standard! All in all a bit of a disappointment,

Really disappointing visit to this Brasserie Blanc. We’ve been to a few other locations of this chain and it’s usually really good but this wasn’t a great experience and slightly embarrassing as we had suggested it to our friends we took. We arrived at 7.30 and ordered fairly swiftly but didn’t get our food til approx two hours later. I had paella which looked and tasted like it had sat in an oven for ages, the pork belly was anaemic and inedible (we were not charged for this dish) and the beef and steak were mediocre. We were told that our food was delayed due to the paella being cooked which was obviously not the true story as we had ordered the last portion of it and it definitely didn’t look or taste freshly cooked.

Okay so this was our third visit and our second in three weeks but yesterday was simply super! This time we were with friends and experienced the cocktail bar to begin with. We eat from the a la carte as opposed to the set lunch, amazing food indeed. Tomas our server was friendly and very efficient. It was our friends first visit and they were impressed.

I have eaten in BB fairly regularly and it's always reliable - but last week, the service was truly exceptional. For a start, all the staff were delightfully warm and friendly and really seemed to like working there. Then, after my friend and I had had a very nice meal and were lingering on for ages to have a chat over a coffee, one of the staff members very politely explained that a party of 8 had arrived and asked if we would mind moving to another table to accommodate them. For our trouble (and it was none) they offered us some wine on the house. The atmosphere and buzz was also really good for a Monday night.

Had some cocktails at the bar by the entrance, have to be slightly patient because the cocktails are made really well! Had onion soup which was yummy and the sticky toffee pudding which was huge and tasty (but could do with more cream to toffee pudding as a ratio). Super friendly.

“What’s not to like?” asks one of your correspondents. Quite a lot actually if my recent experience is anything to go by. We visit occasionally as it very convenient for the National Theatre and it is usually very good. There was a nice welcome for our group of four and an efficient waiter who brought our wine and took our orders promptly.

This lively restaurant is rapidly becoming our preferred choice for pre-theatre dinner. We have been several times and food and service have always been excellent

Met an old friend for lunch and as usual the service was superb: friendly and relaxed. Good range on the menu suited all our tastes and appetites. The added bonus is that the restaurant is quiet enough so that we could have a good conversation!!

This was our second visit, this time for dinner. The restaurant was full, so the atmosphere was buzzy. We were greeted by a young man who made us feel very welcome and chatted as he led us to our table.

All dishes were as good as always. The young handsome man at the reception was very kind to seat us at a comfortable booth. Service from Jennifer was superb! As regular customers, it felt great to be recognised and to receive a warm welcome by excellent Sylwia. Thank you all for another great evening!

Convivial setting, excellent service and the food was absolutely delicious. We were in a big party and the servers managed the evening really well. Amazing to be managing that size of party with such excellent quality food all coming at once. Fabulous - thank you!

I didn't want to leave a review, but feel I want to leave my thoughts for The Junction. I've been going to TJ since about 2016. Many times I went 2-4 a week as it's not far from home. The Junction was
