Great fish and chips at a good price the only downside to the place is that it is rarely open, you have to be in Wisbech at the right time to go there of it was open more I would go everytime I was in the town.

All ways feel welcome, can have a laugh with the waitresses, surprised we haven't been banned yet😂, food is cooked fresh and fulfilling.

Stayed here after a very long day on a bikepacking trip from Edinburgh to London. Everyone who worked there was so hospitable, the pub absolutely full of life, the room had everything I needed (great shower, kettle, working tv, comfy bed) and the breakfast included in the cost was delicious, cooked fresh by the landlord. An absolutely fantastic stay, I just wish I'd had the energy to join in with what seemed to be the best karaoke evening in England!

Recently I have been often seeing customers with dogs in, who were clearly not working/guide dogs. I thought the place became dog friendly and came in with my very well behaved cavalier only to be told "we only take working dogs in". Either stick to clear blanket rule and not let anyone with non working dogs in or allow all in, this felt really unfair.

Visited 16/04/25 - 14;45 The highlight was the service. I did not catch the name of the employee, however her interactions were spot on. A credit to this branch. They ran out of my desired filling (Meatball Marinara), so I opted for the Chicken Sub. There wasn't a great deal of flavour to be honest, even with the generous helping of salad. Not the worst I had consumed, but far from being the best, especially when you are paying nearly £10 for a footlong meal deal.
