Botanico in Liverpool

Amazing!! Had lunch with my son an husband an was amazed by the service so welcoming and the food was fantastic. The staff where on point and so friendly I highly recommend this as its a beautiful place to go an price is so reasonable. Had and amazing easter lunch here thank you botanico for a lovely day.

Beautifully decorated restaurant with nice food, however the service let it down. Staff weren’t that friendly and we had to ask multiple times for things such as Parmesan, black pepper etc. We waited that long for the cheese I had to start eating as my food was going cold. Feel like the staff including the manager / supervisor need training in customer service and hospitality. Wouldn’t return.

Lovely restaurant decorated beautifully. Lovely food. Completely let down by zero customer service. What seemed to be the manager was the rudest there, with face like a smacked backside the whole time. We had to shout someone over for everything, no one comes to your table. We asked for dessert menus the manager walked up to our table and threw them at us while walking past, not even looking at us. Shocking

Came for the Sunday roast, some friends of ours had told us about the sharing platter they offer it did not disappoint! Such a perfect way to try all of the meats. And paired with the quick and friendly service we had an amazing afternoon. Thank you botanico!!

Really disappointing birthday meal that I'd been looking forward to. I'm vegan they had no vegan prosecco and only one wine option which wasnt nice , I was told after ordering that there was no vegan burgers but no alternatives were offered until I asked. The only other option was a vegan roast dinner which was basically a plate of veg and to top it off it was cold. A pot of tea was returned while we were there (not from us) how do you get tea cold..?? The customer service was quite poor and staff didn't look interested apart from one girl. Skinny fries were served on a side plate which didn't look great. The only positive was, to be fair they charged me on the bill for the vegan burger which was a bit cheaper than the meal I had. Won't be returning unless customer service and vegan options improve....

We went early afternoon. Greeted with all tables fully booked Seems that they had changed their website as bookings only were taken from 6pm We did not like front desk attitude and one staff was laughing at us Walk in tables were available so we sat down The tagliatelle was dreadful and the lasagne slightly better. Sorry but not going back. 1 star was more than it deserved

Very warm welcome , food and desert were amazing, service really quick and friendly , they do as well cold coffee so a big yes from me !! Try ice caramel latte.

Great atmosphere but has anyone else experienced ‘missing items’ on their big breakfast? Could be genuine error but the last 3 full breakfasts we have had have all had something missing and we have had to Google menu before asking for missing item! Also seems a lot less food than when first opened

Me and my mum have eaten breakfast at Botanico a few times and always been impressed by the quality of the food there, we thought we would try the evening menu this time as it’s Mother’s Day and I have to say we were really pleased with the food again, the price was amazing for the fantastic food and always great service from the staff. We will definitely be returning with more of the family soon.

Absolutely beautiful in here very relaxed menu is good an food is lovley even better its dog friendly can't comment enough it was lovley / friendly an very relaxed in there 😀 will deffo be back with my friends an the dogs 😀

Our first visit we booked 3 weeks prior & even confirming booking 2 days before on arrival no booking was found 2 people on the front reception looked at us as if we were aliens ( so rude ) 2 of us out of 4 had the steak & eggs rated quite poor pancakes were delicious & the hash we visit multiple restaurants to try breakfast’s definitely would not go back definitely the tavern & Co on Smithdown absolutely out rates this venue ( what a let down ) 🙁

This must be the worst food ever served in a restaurant, the presentation was dire, staff annoying, practically thrown out at 9 p.m. ! My risotto was tasteless, mushy, not seasoned, and overcooked, the sea bass still had scales on the skin, the fillet wasn’t even trimmed, you’d expect a risotto to be served in a bowl, not spread across a large plate. Staff members constantly coming to table asking the same questions, definitely not trained in how to wait on tables. Don’t bother coming here, you will be definitely disappointed ☹️

We went for a family a meal and had a lovely time. The food was delicious and the staff were superb! Will definitely be visiting again soon!

First visit to a beautiful looking venue (reminds me of The Ivy @ Marlow for decor) . It was a few minutes before we were greeted and shown to our table . It was extremely busy with every table taken (which is great to see ) so somewhat noisy . We were shown to our table then it was a good 15 minutes before our order was taken . Food was well presented and of good quality . Had to request condiments which was very surprised to see were sachets of vinegar /ketchup etc - would expect ramekins for the likes of ketchup in establishments like this ? We had finished our main courses over 15 minutes and nobody had taken plates away so had to ask a passing server . They were taken with no offer of dessert menu /coffees etc so we had to ask again for these . Two requested desserts were later advised unavailable and a long wait for coffees. A further coffee was requested but not delivered . A curt waiter then put the (unrequested) bill on the table (which included the coffee not served) saying they needed the table back . Said we were still waiting on coffee so he snatched bill back saying would remove coffee (no offer to get the coffee he clearly wanted us to go ). As paying the bill the coffee then arrived so was offered a take away cup (but not time to drink it-at the table ) so declined as felt we had overstayed our welcome . If you are going to set time limits on tables then your service needs to be both friendly and prompt. Ours was sadly neither on this occasion . I will give them one more visit before writing it off as a venue but there are plenty of other dining places which have better service and less chaotic . Hope they listen to some of the repeated comments on TA and use the feedback to improve.
