Boston Tea Party Plymouth in Plymouth

The food was wonderful and so was John our server. I had a sausage, cheese, egg, hashbrown and mustard mayo muffin with a side of avocado. My husband had the veggie breakfast and he was really impressed.

We come into BTP Plymouth a lot when in town and the existence is always really positive! The location is great, down in the waterfront, and the food is delicious! :) we love all the veggie and vegan options too. Came in yesterday with my bestie and we were served by the fabulous Hailey who made us feel welcome and was very friendly. If fact all the staff are very welcoming. 10/10 will come again :)

It’s a cute little spot for a coffee or bite to eat it’s your hidden enough from the hustle and bustle but close enough to walk up to the hoe or along the harbour afterwards

First off, their caramel shortbread was absolutely delicious! Their iced coffee blended with avocado was also delicious, it gave the impression you were having a thin milkshake, without actually having a milkshake. Their burger was really good, with a great tasting cheese sauce.

My blueberry pancakes were excellent! My apple juice and daddy’s coffee is delicious 😄. I also really enjoyed the paintings in the wall.

Visited for drinks and cakes. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Was a quiet mid afternoon so not many guests. Only negative is quite expensive for a piece of cake or a treat but were rather yummy.

Had two really bad experiences!!! First one burnt food and cold drinks that should be hot!! Mentioned to the server and they said ahhh we’ll see you again!! Second time we wanted some extra hash browns and couldn’t have any because they didn’t have many so wouldn’t take side orders. We changed our order to be told they had no muffins or sausage patties because of a busy weekend! So we left and no apology was offered and no movement on offering other suggestions. Shocking from what was a good place to meet and entertain people. We won’t be back!

When I visited BTP I was pleasantly greeted by Jordan. He was welcoming, friendly and hardworking. Everytime we looked over he was trying his best to please the customers. The food was good, coffees are insane! Love this place.

Been in on a few occasions. The drinks aren’t great overall- I’ve had a latte and it’s tasted burnt, it was horrible. Then I’ve tried the milkshakes, I’ve only ever ordered salted caramel. The first occasion I received banana. I could not fault the staff as they were nice and got me a new one- the replacement was lovely!! However, I went back again yesterday and I ordered the breakfast with a milkshake again and it looked like soft ice cream- it tasted like vanilla with caramel on the edge of the glass and that was it, no caramel flavour other than that- I asked for a replacement again as it was not what I ordered and for nearly £5 a milkshake I’d expect it to taste as it says. The replacement was a thinner version (more like milk and tasted as such) again no flavour to it. I gave up, ate my meal and left which was also very average for such a high price. £20 on a breakfast and what was essentially milk! Very disappointing as you don’t pay for what you get here and it’s been like this the last 2 times I’ve been. I probably won’t return as it is a waste of money. The staff are polite enough but the food and especially the drinks are not great especially when all the drinks are at such a high price point. Disappointing really.

Visited today with our son who says 'best hash browns ever' ! It was our first visit here , all the food was amazing and friendly, helpful staff. Will be back! 🙂

First time coming with the family, the staff was so friendly and didn’t make me feel uncomfortable about my dietary needs, which is a first for me. The food tastes amazing and so relaxed being here like could get a book and read. Will definitely be coming again.

Great brunch at Boston Tea Party today. Food was amazing as usual and service is always great, staff are helpful and it is always service with a smile. I had the veggie hash, it was so tasty and also a healthier option at only 512 calories. It is always spotlessly clean as well.

Cold, NO heating on a wet, chilly January morning, 50 min wait for simple brunch meals, 15 mins wait for coffee/tea orders & expensive - over £70 for 3 people(& we’re used to Swedish prices)

I find most BTPs food very average, but the food here was so much better. The chef seasoned the food so well it felt like a completely different eatery to me! So good. Highly recommend.

Waiting time almost 40min, very average breakfast and heavily overpriced

As BTP's go, best one I've been too. They're conveniently located throughout the UK, so a safe bet when on travels. Food is normally pretty average, but not here! The chef clearly loves his job, as he actually puts the effort into seasoning the food! Staff were really nice too!

Always have amazing service at btp. The staff go above and beyond and are always super happy. Manager Zoe is very personable with customers and the staff clearly love working for her!

Might be a chain but it’s always a great breakfast and great service here. I just love all of the vegan options there are available!!

Just had some tea and toast, very nice very good customer service. Lots of seating up stairs and down. Think about parking not many spaces near by

Came in for brunch, it’s about half full in here and I ordered a tea with eggs royale. Tea came out fast, the food took 30 mins, the toast was definitely not toast, just soggy bread. I ordered an orange juice and even with a polite reminder to the staff, I’m at 31 minutes and it’s still not turned up! The staff don’t even take orders from the table so lord knows why the service is so painfully slow!

Chill and relaxing atmosphere. The boss breakfast lived up to its name, and the bread was so good. No choice on how eggs were cooked, but the scrambled eggs were really tasty still.

Visited for breakfast, fairly busy . Ordered 2 bacon and egg baps, and 2 coffees, the bread was a brioche bun, not ideal for bacon and eggs, too sweet. Always used to serve plain bread roll.

I had great service and advice from Jordan when I was looking at vegan options. They helped me choose a vegan boss breakfast and it was delectable, 10/10 would recommend. Great customer treatment and service, Jordan was a great waiter and I would be very happy to be seated and served by them in the future.

Absolutely amazing customer service, delicious food and prioritise allergies and requests. Definitely recommend coming here. Especially for someone who struggles with anxiety the music is so calming and it’s so peaceful to enjoy some real good food.

One of the only places in plymouth you can go for breakfast alone and not feel judged. Staff are always welcoming and they remember sauces and a bits that you would want.

Went here on a rainy sunday afternoon just for a coffee but had to get a slice of their homemade coffee cake. vegan! 10/10. Alot of options including vegan and gluten free. The place was clean and very pretty with children drawings on the wall. I spoke to at least 3 members of staff and they were all great. the Lady on the bar was so friendly and then the gentlemen who cleared our plates stopped for a quick chat which was nice and then another lady who was cleaning a table next to us. We just mentioned to her that we are about to leave. They close at 4:30pm and it was 4:35pm. she was lovely and said that you take our time and enjoy our conversation out of the rain. I thought this was really nice as normally at closing times alot of places are rushing for you to leave but none of them made us feel that we had to rush. Will be back.

Popped in for the first time for breakfast as we were up in Plymouth. Loved the atmosphere, staff were very friendly. Food was excellent. My partner is celiac and they had a big range and nothing was too much trouble.

Great place to eat. Our server Jordan was friendly and polite and understanding of dietary restrictions. I had a vegan fried breakfast which I have had before and it is always very tasty. Great selection of drinks and nice coffee.

Called in today (Wed 11th Sept)ad-hoc and must say what a great place to dine. We both had the std burger and fries along with a cappuccino and earl grey tea and only have positive things to say. Service was great and the burger is quite possibly the best I have had in a long time. (Well done Chef)Would definitely highly recommend for a casual bite in a pleasant atmosphere.

Been going here for years with our dog. Clearly they have new staff including a man dressed up like a woman who was rude, unprofessional and absolutely awful to be around. Had no professionalism nor customer service what so ever. Clearly a diversity hire. Lied about how busy they were telling me no seats upstairs. I looked for myself to find there were lots upstairs.we like to sit upstairs if we can. He made it a problem. Kept on telling us in a very uncomfortable way how busy he was. He clearly couldn’t handle the pace. I don’t want to know how busy you are every time I see you. I wasn’t asking anything of you. All but threw the menus in my hand after trying to make him smile after I tried to pickup what looked like menus but was actually bins. Just no customer service at all. Our dog was under/beside our table and normally gets fuss but instead the same man had me lead him up despite him being right next to us. Doesn’t bark. Trained to hand signals. I’m off today with food sickness and diarrhoea just to top it off. Won’t be going back there after years of doing so. No apologies needed. I don’t want your fake apology and excuse. I know what good customer service is. I work it myself.

BTP has always been our favourite place for breakfast/brunch, and now that we've moved to Plymouth it's how we always sell visitors on the city! All the waiting staff are always so lovely and friendly, no matter how busy they are (especially Hayley who served us today) and the food is incredible. I'm not even a breakfast person and it's one of my favourite places to eat out. Plus dog-friendly! If I could give 6 stars I would.

I've been here once before, and as it was then, this place is excellent. The menu and the food itself is all great, and the staff are friendly. Even by Plymouth standards it's like a concerted effort has been made to create an alt-friendly space. Thank you especially to Hailey/Hayley

Came here on a weekday morning and it was super chill, my food came out very quickly and the staff were very attentive and friendly. I normally only have a couple options, being coeliac, but they now have a GF fryer so could try new menu items! I’d recommend the salmon hash!
