"Order at your table" with their QR code, but it never works. Probably the worst WiFi in the UK. They never seem to fix this. Staff are friendly and food is nice though.

I love this place, it’s home from home. Great coffee, great staff and a fun experience every single day.

The food here is good, a little pricey. But the service is dreadful. Just kids / students with seemingly no training and a disdain for the clientele.

I spend a week trying to contact them to get an afternoon tea for my sisters birthday, we were then told to just turn up and order one to then be told we had to book. Wasted journey

Great brunch and atmosphere, lovely staff and super easy ordering process. We had the salmon hash and the sweetcorn hash, both were delicious and brought out quickly!

I've been a regular at BTP on Alfred Street for years now, and really love everything about it! First, the food is really great: in my opinion, this is the best breakfast/brunch in town, mostly because of the variety of the menu (there are many options besides traditional English breakfast: my favourites are the smoked salmon hash and the blueberry pancakes). I've kept going after the birth of my son (now nearly three) and I love it even more now as it's a great place for kids: there is a lot of space (for the pram, for him to run around), there is an amazing kids breakfast that he loves, plenty of high chairs, children books and crayons to keep him occupied. Finally, the staff is the loveliest you could hope for: we always feel warmly welcome!

The staff were so friendly and hospitable! And to top it all off the food was Devine! A lady called Maddy found me the perfect window table - service like that is hard to find

A great brunch - super service and fantastic food. The blended iced lattes are truly awesome and do as they say ‘trust them’ ! If you are in Bath I would recommend Dog and child friendly 😄

The best BTP "in the world" - in my opinion

Todo estaba muy sabroso, pero tardaron un poco en salir y así que me dieron una torta gratis al final por eso sin que dijera nada que fuera realmente amable!

We visited the Boston Tea Party on Alfred Street in Bath over the weekend. The café had a lovely, bustling atmosphere with plenty of people enjoying their time. We tried the tea, which was okay – nothing exceptional but still enjoyable. The staff were warm, friendly, and welcoming, which made the visit pleasant. It’s also convenient that they offer washroom facilities, but unfortunately, we found the washroom not very clean, which was a bit disappointing.

Whether it's a quick chat or simply her remembering my usual order, she makes the experience that much more enjoyable. Sam and the entire team are also fantastic. They are always so friendly and efficient, making sure your coffee is exactly how you like it. It’s clear that they work really well together, and the positive energy is contagious. They always go above and beyond, making me feel welcome every time I walk in. The quality of the coffee is outstanding – consistently delicious, rich, and made with care. Whether you’re grabbing a quick espresso or lingering with a latte, you’ll never be disappointed. This coffee shop truly feels like home, thanks to Steph, Sam, and the wonderful team that make it all happen. If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor and check it out—you won’t regret it!

They run out of beef burgers, so I ordered the ham, cheese and smokey tomato sauce panini but with GF bread as I am intolerant. £10 for a tiny sandwich (2 small slices of bread, who eat GF knows that bread), so overpriced. If you are GF intolerance or celiac, this is not your place and you will have to eat again in another place after 30min.

As always, The Boss Breakfast was a delicious lil’ feast. The service I received from Sam was delightful, especially with regard to him being a considerate & kind conversationalist, as well as the quality of drink he personally whipped up for me.

We’re Sunday regulars at Boston and it never stops being fab. Brook is usually the person to seat us and knows where we like to sit, and therefore makes it very easy to feel taken care of! Huge thanks to Brook and the team for making a Sunday afternoon fab and chilled out.

Such an amazing space! The fact they're dog friendly makes it even better, brunch with my dogs is a perfect trip out!!!

We come here more than I care to admit but its because its always consistently good! The team are great and super friendly. We are always with a small child and this place is so accommodating. My favourite place to come in Bath.

Hate ordering by phone. You can order at the desk but it's slow. Food portions are much smaller than other places for the price. Prefer Harry's for example.

Tried new Chorizo Hash and enjoyed it

This is THE BEST place in Bath for families with smaller children. There is space and they feel welcome. The staff are friendly, the food is great, the app works, atmosphere is relaxed. What's not to like.

Extremely unprofessional service here this morning, Sat 4th Jan. Having arrived to collect our food we were approached by a member of staff who told us it wasn’t ready yet but proceeded to touch my arm repeatedly as she spoke to me. She was very touchy and if that had been a man touching me this would be a very different review. Please tell your staff to keep their hands to themselves.

Seated quickly and the food was good. Ordering is via QR code on the table... For some reason I didn't have a mobile signal in here (O2) and I couldn't connect to the WiFi. Luckily my daughter managed to connect with her phone and we ordered. I do like the option to order via mobile but it's a problem when data is patchy. Food came within 20 minutes and was tasty. This is a nice cafe but it's very busy and noisy so if you're looking for a quiet place for a coffee in not sure this is it.

A nice out of the way spot for food. A good amount of seating and a generous menu with some vegetarian options. The food is tasty and service is good. Only down side is the qr code ordering. Its a faff and it limits interaction with staff

We visit BTP a lot anyway, but today one member of staff, Amber, went the extra mile when our 4 year old got really sad about something. The mood instantly lifted for all of us.

Great place for brunch. Busy atmosphere but did not have to wait for a table and got lucky with a booth. The eggs Benedict were divine and the cappuccino art put a smile on my face. The only thing was that the eggs did not come out as warm as I would like them but as a hospitality worker I understand there may be hold ups sometimes especially on the weekends. Great experience overall!

First time visiting Bath , Boston tea party was recommended to me by a shop manager in the town . I was not disappointed, without a doubt the best burger I have eaten in a long time . Service was excellent, the place is spotless and the staff are all so friendly. I will definitely return .

Great place. Very open feeling even when it's busy. Staff are friendly and ON IT with tables. My wife and I bring our toddler here and there's a nice kids menu and a few books and crayons to keep her occupied. But I cannot tell you how good their hash browns are. I know, they're just potatoes. But guys, these are next level hash browns. The CRUNCH is magic.

They’ve really gone above and beyond at Alfred street!! The food was so delicious I didn’t even manage to grab a photo before I locked my plate clean. The staff are super friendly and the service was prompt even though they were quite busy. The burgers here are better than places that specialise in that food. Don’t bother with five guys or smash burger when it’s so much better here

Nice, trendy breakfast/brunch place with a diverse menu! We had breakfast here twice during a three-day holiday in Bath, of which I had the full English breakfast once and the vegetarian variant once. Both highly recommended! A really beautiful space inside and very light with the large skylight at the bar.
