Absolutely outstanding food and service, if or when I return to Bath I will most definitely be returning even if it's just for the doughnuts

We had the most delicious food here. Tried the arancini, which we highly recommend, and I chose Amatriciana for pizza, which didn't disappoint either. The place was welcoming, great atmosphere and very friendly staff! Thank you for this experience. Best PIZZA place in Bath!🍕❤️

One of my most favorite restaurants in Bath! Truffle pizza is very good (you can also order extra honey which goes quite well with pizza). They make really good Aperol spritz too.

Sat upstairs. Long wait for food. Given wrong order, not corrected. Then given raw dough balls for desert which were inedible. When asked to take wrong off bill, was essentially ignored. Made to feel we were a burden. Won’t be coming again. Very unpleasant staff.

6 of us ate in the upstairs restaurant on Saturday night. Absolute shambles of a meal.

Excellent food, a very busy restaurant on Saturday lunch time but front of house staff get 5 stars! Burrata with Anchovies was excellent.

Carbonate was rubbish, bacon was burnt and covered in salt, I did not eat it and refused to pay. Fushettia bread was more sourdough. Won't be going back. Spend your money elsewhere.

The servers and chefs were so brilliant with our 2 young children. They were so patient and chatty (even when the smallest knocked her glass off the table and they had to come and clear it up during the busiest rush!). The food was delicious as always. My children loved the food, especially my son who is autistic and I was concerned would just want plain spaghetti - he had the spaghetti pomodoro and devoured it. Thank you thank you thank you for a fantastic and memorable family dinner. Good value for money, always a lovely atmosphere.

One of the best places I've been out for food. I had the Spaghetti Carbonara it had to be one of the best I've ever had. The service was amazing from start to finish. The atmosphere was perfect not too busy and noisy and not completely dead. Will 100% be back

First the good, the restaurant was nice, food was lovely & atmosphere was great. The bad, waitress spilled a beer over me, apologised etc but when the bill came it was for the full amount & included gratuity ! Spoke to the maitre d & she had no knowledge of the incident, apologised & immediately changed the bill. Ultimately the service was very good, just a shame about the beer being spilled over me, things happen 🤷🏼‍♂️ not the end of the world, I’d definitely go back 👍

Amazing food at an affordable price!! The hostess/manager lady was extremely nice and made us a booking on the day. Remembered our name as well as we arrived which definitely made the experience more personal! Tbh she was keeping the service together. The service really lacked for us and we felt forgotten, was never offered a second drink and had to wait 20 minutes from receiving the bill till us paying. (The higher rating was thanks to the food and the host)

Restaurant half empty but unable to get a table due to lack of staff I'm told. Explained 3 very hungry children and no flexibility at all. Shame.

The staff here are really good with the service they provide and the food here is Excellent, I would recommend it to anyone.

Enjoyed a nice dinner here. Wouldn’t say it was my BEST pizza however this was really nice. Have seen some reviews saying that the tomato sauce is the best they’ve had however I think it was a little overpowering to the other toppings but if you’re a tomato lover this might be the place for you! I was happy that somewhere does a pizza with both artichokes and olives which was lovely as haven’t seen a pizza place which only includes these two toppings before. The atmosphere while eating outside is really lovely.

Very nice, thoroughly enjoyed a quick meal there the other evening. Recommended.

Fantastic food and great atmosphere a hidden gem in Bath. If I go back to Bath this would be my first stop for food. The balsamic vinegar with the focaccia was amazing. The pizzas so delicious.

Food was delicious, service was very slow, but friendly

Went here, hoping for a quick lunch arrived 11.55, ordered the special 3 courses, waited 1 hour 45 mins hadn’t even received all the courses, so disappointed with the service. So left did complain, the management didn’t se remotely bothered or apologetic. So i wouldn’t eat here again. The management needs to address the wait times !!!! Two years later and my daughter wanted to eat here again, so we did and what a difference, service food, everything was excellent. Will be eating here again.

Had a pizza delivered to my work and it turned up cremated. Really disappointed.

Food was exceptionally good, Arancini were amazing, melt in your mouth soft omg. Pizza was fresh, light and flavourful. Atmosphere was great, decor was cosy, nice open kitchen plan. Unfortunately, we were served by a cocky waitress, was condescending in tone and generally unfriendly. Had to wait a while before our plates were cleared. I was even looking at the staff, signalling that we were done, but nobody batted an eye. Simple mannerisms such as 'please' and 'thank you' were non-existent... Sub par. I do recommend Bosco Pizzeria as they do serve excellent food, but urge customers to look past an unmotivated front of house.

Bosco is one of my all time favourite pizzerias to eat at. I know their service has been lacking a bit lately but its pizza is amazing and it is super cosy. I would definitely recommend to all pizza lovers!!

I’m confused as to why there is so much hype around this place, the wait for a table on a weekday was approx an hour so I had high expectations but was disappointed, the pizza lacked flavor, the cannoli tasted stale. It was average and service was slow.

Been waiting for my food for the whole hour when there are not more than 10 costumer.Also have to wait for check the bill for 20 minutes when most of the staff are standing next to the bar chatting.

More than half the restaurant empty during lunch but they still enforce a booking. This was due to staff shortage so no blame on them, the owner is obviously at fault. Shame, but luckily many good options in town.

Easily the best pizza, location and service in Bath

Three start but two of them are just for the nice pizza. The service was SO slow. We were there for over two hours and all we got was pizza and the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. The entire inside was empty and most tables outside were empty as well. I do not recommend if you plan to do anything else with your day.

Brilliant find, felt like I was sat in a Sicilian restaurant, staff where very friendly and informative about menus, top quality food, great selection of drinks, nothing was problem. Highly recommend

Excellent pizzas, top service, warm atmosphere.

We booked after taking a look at reviews for an early sitting on Sunday evening. We were seated promptly and ordered some drinks and 2 pizzas with a meatball side. The food came out in fair time and we both enjoyed the drinks, but preferred the nduja over the amatriciana pizza, which was a bit lacking in flavour for us. The meatballs were light and flavourful. On paying the bill we were somewhat surprised at the additional service charge between the bill being shown to us and the card machine being presented, with no discussion or mention, but other than this had great service throughout.

Excellent in every way! Not only are the pizzas excellent, among the best we have tasted (and we have tasted a lot!)… In addition, the servers are friendly and smiling and the place is very pleasant. We highly recommend this restaurant.

It is a cozy restaurant with a central location. The food is so-so, i.e. neither something to shout hurray for nor something not worth eating. However, I must say that the pizza deserves 4/5 stars! The service was good, the waiter was super nice, but the little things like everyone having dishes and remembering the water were missing. Not a bad option for a meal, a little off the busy streets.

My friend and I were served by Will, he was amazing and made sure that we had everything we needed. The food was really good as well

Normally one of my favourite places to visit but I was disappointed this time. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and was told we couldn’t be seated for 20 minutes but there was 3/4 tables outside empty. The manager explained they had a busy lunch time and needed to wait till 5pm before taking dinner. I asked if we could just sit at the table for 20 minutes and not order anything and was very rudely told no and “as I just said” no tables to be sat until 5pm. We waited around the corner sat on a step as we had been shopping all day, we would’ve gone else where but my sister really wanted to go. The food was great but felt the service was really lacking and wasn’t worth the automatic service charge they add.

This place has been brilliant for years. Invigorated with a fantastic new head chef in summer 24. Brilliant Neapolitan pizza. Great pasta. Super cocktails. And the staff are lovely. One of Bath's best.

The restaurant is nice and the outdoor seating is more comfortable. Some of the food was excellent and some was good, but in general I liked it. The pasta was great and the pizza was good. The bruschetta with straccia was very delicious. The salad was fresh and refreshing. The restaurant is large and has indoor seating, and seating is also available on the second floor

The Food was not bad but not very good, but the wait-time of nearly an hour and ten minutes was unacceptable. The only reason, i give this restaurant more than 1 star, was the really nice waiter who's face looked a bit like Gavi.

Bosco pizzeria is one of the best places to eat in Bath. Booking was very quick and easy, and we were promptly seated upon arrival. The restaurant is very aesthetic and is located in a very nice part of town. A very romantic setting for couples. The seats and tables are comfortable with plenty of space between tables. The issue we encountered is one of the servers was quite aggressive and not welcoming when seating and taking our order. Starters arrived quickly and tasted delicious. I highly recommend the burratta pomodorro and calamari. Although the starters arrived quickly we had to wait over an hour for our mains. After bringing this to the attention of another server the food was brought after a further 15 minutes. The pizzas were absolutely delicious and great value for money. The spaghetti tasted great and was very filling also. Apart from the slow service Bosco is a lovely pizzeria that I highly recommend for a lovely night out.

Visited for my friends birthday as a walk in. We were seated and weren’t warned of wait time. We ordered starters and mains and asked for it to ne sent together or when ready. Service was great from our server although we could have been told on the wait for food. Our mains and starters were not served together but the food itself was very good. We ended up waiting 90 minutes for our mains after finishing the starters, and then we spoke to the manager on shift after asking for the bill. We spoke to ‘Ren’ and communicated our experience. He was not understanding of our feedback or apologetic. We were told ‘it is what it is’ and were asked if we were refusing to pay our bill. We explained we weren’t refusing to pay but we wanted to be heard and there was no empathy from him with any offers to comp/discount us for the poor experience we had at the restaurant. We all work in hospitality and we understand that it was a busy Saturday evening but the way that ‘Ren’ dealt with the situation was very poor and I recommend more training for this individual. I will not be returning to Bosco due to the way that we were dealt with as unhappy customers.

Love, love Bosco! The staff are great, especially as it's a popular restaurant, yet they still manage to be lovely. The food arrived in a timely fashion - there was a bit of a wait, but nothing excessive plus the restaurant was full (inside and out) and it was delicious. One of my favourite restaurants in Bath.

Incredible food and atmosphere. My partner and I both ordered a pizza each and it was the best I've ever had in the UK.

One of the best lunches I've had in a long time. Sat at the pass watching magnificent coordination, respect to each of the chefs and sheer passion from all. Wine was great, freshly slice prosciutto was excellent, buratta was oozy as it should and the dessert of Italian fried doughnuts was just excellent. Get a special of all the nibbly bits on a board. Thank you chef for the canoli was really good! Truly a hidden gem, thanks for letting watch!

We were fooled by the good reviews here and went there for dinner. It took a long time until we were served. Unfortunately the beer we ordered was out. I was recommended another one. After 5 minutes I was informed that this was also out (shouldn't you find out what else is there first?). The caprese consisted of unripe tomatoes and dried basil... after that we waited for over 1.5 hours and were put off because the kitchen couldn't keep up with the food. After I gave the waiter a deadline, the pizza finally arrived. The waiter then got offended and ignored us until we paid. If we had been told at the beginning that the food would take longer, we would have been honest and then we would have decided to stay or go. The male waiter's reaction was completely unprofessional.

Visiting from America, Mike, was our server, he was the nicest guy ever! Took time to make out a list of the best things to do in bath for us. Spent time just chatting and making us feel right at home! Food was so good, atmosphere was very welcoming. I highly recommend this place !!

By far the best restaurant in Bath! Watching the chef run the pass and control the flow of the food coming out was very entertaining. Basically dinner and a show. The pizza and pasta was beyond amazing and there’s no way this place deserves anything less that 5 stars! I would give it more if I could.

Everything about this place is great. Quality arranchini, awesome pizza and bloody brilliant negronis. The best thing is the price, actually feels reasonable and worth it. Brill waiting staff also.

We’ve had a lot of pizzas - this place is really up there. FOOD We got some ciccheti & a pizza to share - the zucchini fritti, polpette, arancini & burrata with anchovies were delicious, with a great Neapolitan style pizza to follow with generous toppings. DRINKS Drinks were nice, a negroni, Campari, gin and tonic & glass of Merlot. All pretty reasonable. SERVICE Service was very friendly, we had a great, casual waiter who made us feel at ease, and general ambience can’t be faulted.

if I could give zero I could, nothing is labeled vegan on the menu. the staff has zero knowledge about vegan options. This restaurant won’t progress well.

Found this place via social media and it was great! Super busy early on a Friday evening so we booked and went back 40 minutes later. It’s really nice inside with a great atmosphere, upstairs looks lovely! We sat at the raised area and got to watch them make the pizzas which was great! Staff were friendly and the pizza is unmatched, would highly recommend!

Been a couple of times now, possibly my favourite restaurant. Only criticism- the second time I went it took about 30 minutes for the main meal to arrive, but it didn’t matter as soon as we raised it with the staff they sorted it quickly and it was worth the wait! Best carbonara I’ve ever had and the pizza is better than the likes of Rudy’s up in Manchester.

We had sat at the counter by the pizza making station, which added to our experience watching them make the pizzas. Service was very attentive and warm throughout our meal here. Arancini was amazing! A must order for the starter. The aubergine bruschetta was no where near on par with it, but still ok. My fiance had the Carciofi pizza (artichoke) + anchovies as extra, she loved it. I had the ventricina pizza (pepperoni + honey, chilli oil) this pizza was delicious, wanna go back and have it again. It was all very fresh, certainly would come back if we were to visit Bath again (or if they delivered to the Midlands).

Very busy hence the 4star for service. That said the food was great.

Finally popped by Bosco after it being on my Bath list for a few months, following reading some great reviews! We had booked ahead for lunchtime and were greeted and quickly shown to our table. I'd definitely recommend booking, we went at lunch time and it definitely was a busy. We were given a jug of water immediately upon sitting which was a really nice touch, and approached in good time to give our order. The food came out swiftly and was delicious! We ordered the Margherita classic and Buafala Margherita. I thoroughly enjoyed the Margherita, which had an ample amount of both cheese and sauce, both of which were flavourful and fresh. The dough was cooked perfectly, lovely puffy and light crusts with just the right amount of char! My friend did find his pizza delicious, though found it to be a little watery (the Bufala mozzarella the likely culprit here, and something to be mindful of!). We had to get the attention of the waiter to pay but overall the service was good. The place itself is very aesthetic and clean with a nice atmosphere. I'd most definitely recommend Bosco to those searching for a good neapolitan pizza, and will most definitely be back!

I visited solo on a Wednesday evening and was sat at the bar so I could see the pizza and pasta being made- loved this. Surprisingly busy for a Wednesday evening, but not so surprising after visiting myself and experiencing the delicious pizza. You can really tell the staff are passionate and hardworking, and this showed in the tasty food served. Friendly and attentive staff. The atmosphere was also spot on.

Had one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had here. Amazing rich tomato sauce with a great garlic aioli on the side. Nice service and cool relaxed atmosphere on a slow Sunday lunch.

Hello we been coming sinces bosco open aug 2021 and we always have a fab time but after visiting yesterday very disappointed service was … we where offred dessert meun but over 30min later still no one come to take order we had to ask to order everything

I have tried Bosco Pizzeria in Bristol which ended as 2/5 but I wanted to give another try for this branch. It was a dissapointed from end-to-end and ever worse than before. I have ordered Bosco pizza and my partner spaghetti carbonara. Restaurant had 2 chefs, 3 waitress and around 6-8 tables with customers, so we wanted to eat something easy to make and quick, so we could enjoy the weather outside. We were not expecting such a long waiting for our dishes. My partners carbonara arrived after 30 minutes and my pizza after additional 5 minutes later. My pizza was alright (not bad, not great - just the middle spot of the sourdough type of pizza) which was exactly same experience as the one in Birstol branch of Bosco. However, my partner's carbonara was the most bland carbonara which she ever ate. I tried her dish and I felt like that was cooked by someone who was cooking carbonara for the first time. Way too much pepper, almost no cheese, a couple pieces of meat and no creme texture of the dish (I guess not enough or even missing egg yolk?). It was really dissapointed so we wanted to just forget about it and go out enjoy the weather. During whole experience in Bosco Pizzeria no one asked us if everything is alright with the dish, no one asked how it was, no one asked us about the opinion. We didn't ask waitress to replace our dish with new portion because we didn't want to waste more time in that restaurant. Never ever again Bosco Pizzeria.

Empty restaurant and was told no because of maintenance in kitchen but we can come back at 6pm? While another table after us was seated. Very poor service considering its xmas

The restaurant was very busy and we were a party of 14 adults, 3 young children and a baby. Staff were attentive and friendly throughout the meal. Food was delicious

Had such a lovely meal on Friday our waiter -Mate- was amazing we’ll definitely be going back.

Booked a table after seeing good reviews and pictures of food looked great however was quite disappointed overall. Arancini was good, meatballs sauce tasted like tomato soup so no authentic Italian flavours there. Pizza has far too many dark charred spots, leoparding on dough is great but my pizza was ruined by the burnt taste. Carbonara took “al dente” to another level and pancetta wasn’t rendered down much so left it very chewy and not enjoyable to eat. All the servers were very polite however need to be more attentive to tables in the restaurant, no check back, mains were never cleared and I had to ask for the bill after clearly being finished for ages, which then took another 5 minutes to get it. Had high hopes for this place however I hope my comments are taken constructively.

One of my favourites for pizza in Bath. Consistent food, great decor, and fast service. Whether a quick lunch, take away or a meal with the family, this is one of the best in Bath. Heat value set lunch and the arancini are a must. Decent negroni and perfect in the summer.

Fabulous food and a great atmosphere. The staff are really knowledgeable and friendly. The best pizza we’ve eaten outside of Italy! So hard to choose what to have as the menu is excellent; as is the wine list. All in all a great meal in the centre of Bath.

The place has a nice layout and feels quite cosy. We were initially seated beside a table with screaming children, but the hostness immediately moved us as soon as we asked. The pizza was a bit meh. It had flavor but a soggy bottom. The carafe of wine we had was a bit bland and tasty as though it had been watered down. I wouldn't visit again.
