Boom Battle Bar Cardiff in Cardiff

We had 2x tables booked for beer pong and proseeco pong. Some of our party dropped out prior and so we asked if we could switch both to prosseco pong last minute. Ceri and Suzie were very accommodating and changed this without issues. The game was quickly set up and drinks were provided swiftly. We were checked in with throughout the game to see if we needed anything and when our time was up, they saw we only had one of each colour left, they let us play until end which was amazing 👏🏻 We will definitely return!! Great fun 🙌

My missus had a bit too much to drink and phoned me asking for the help. The staff on the door rang her a taxi and even made sure she got in it okay. True gentleman, appreciate it massively lads!

We went for a bottomless brunch yesterday, and it was brilliant! The food was excellent, with lots of options to choose from. Linda was amazing; she kept us topped up with drinks the whole time and was absolutely fantastic—so lovely, personable, and friendly. The service of a bottomless brunch can make or break the experience, and Linda did an excellent job at keeping us topped up the whole time. I would highly recommend Boom Battle Bar for brunch!

Visited boom battle bar Cardiff on Sunday 8th December with family. Booked in for Axe throwing, darts and shuffle board. Went for an 12pm -3pm slots doing one activity after another. I’d say midday day is a nice calmer time to visit and especially on a Sunday, perfect for younger family members. We were greeted by Nick got the waivers sorted for axe throwing and straight over to that activity. Axe throwing is great fun, Nick talked through the ways to throw, demonstrated and was a good laugh. Even though my partner split an axe handle with another axe he made light of it although on the second time he done it we were taking bets if it happened a third how much a new axe set costs. Nick was professional and fun and a great instructor if you can request people. On to the other activities asked if we had played before (which we had), we were left to our own devices and had great fun again. Ordered drinks and food with a table near by. Prices as expected for these type of places and food was lovely. Great as a light snack or a few dishes to share. We used vouchers which were bought for us last Christmas and made a great outing and would suggest the vouchers if people are stuck for present ideas. Also just for reference I done axe throwing at 27 weeks pregnant. I emailed ahead of activities to check if this was okay and checked with midwife which is completely fine, all being feeling able enough and healthy.

Whilst our experience on the night was challenging and a bit of a nightmare, if all had run smoothly, would have been a great place to visit. I will still give 4 stars based on the wonderful colleague who addressed the issues we experienced with such empathy. Because of how the complaint was dealt with, I would look to return!

I frequently visit Boom Battle Bar and have had many great experiences—the activities are fun, the atmosphere is lively, and it’s generally a great night out. Unfortunately, my visit over the weekend was disappointing and fell short of my expectations. The staff seemed unwelcoming and outright rude. We were on a Christmas works due on Sunday and had booked a karaoke booth which was great fun. However, the staff really put a damper on the evening. Instead of creating a fun and inviting atmosphere, their attitude made the experience feel tense and unprofessional. Our karaoke mic also died and took up some time to get a new one which was annoying when on a 60 minute timer. Toilets are also gross! Therefore, this time, it felt like poor value for money.

Went for a birthday with a group of 9. The venue is nice and spacious and a good atmosphere. They have a lot of different games and activities for a decent price. Overall, we had a great time, but there were a few downsides. We arrived 5mins before our booking and were told to come back to the desk in 5mins. Of course, by that time, there was a huge number of people trying to check in, and so we ended up late starting our first game. It would be good if we could get shown where the game is so we can just start where our time starts. We had 3 activities booked in a row and were asked to leave the first one when our time was up, but then there were people still on the 2nd game so again, we missed out on some time there. It was so busy that it was difficult to find someone to ask or help, but all the staff were super helpful when we did find them.

Ceri delivered EXCELLENT customer service, a group of us were coming from a work do and we had the best vibes thanks to her, did the most insane magic and added minutes when our room malfunctioned- truly went above and beyond and she made our experience!

Milo and Ceri were so fantastic, definitely brought good vibes and were sososo helpful loved the whole staff at boom battle bar worth a visit just because of the level of service. 10/10 service so friendly loved them xxx

She was excellent, super attentive and efficient with our food/drinks orders! She really knows how to create a welcoming and fun environment.
