Visit to Shrewsbury food was excellent, service was excellent highly recommended 👌

Food nice, But bit overpriced for the portions you get e.g. bibimbap It's cosy place, but service was minimal and they charge you a 10 percent service charge (we were just 4 people) which I think should be optional.

Stunning food, with a big selection to choose from, the bao buns were delicious. Food was fresh, delicious and the service was great.

A taste of something different, loved the food and service was good. I would go again as a treat.

Dont let this rating misguide you, the food quality was good. However, on a very quiet, midweek night, the speed of service, misplacment of orders and lack of atmosphere in comparison to the cost is hugely misaligned. Would be willing to try again however, initial judgement was poor.

All the food was good, but the baos were especially tasty.

Food was excellent! Shame it came out so slow; a lot of our party had finished mains/starters before all food had been served. Did give us a complimentary shot however!!

Food was amazing, i had 3 lots of the chicken gyoza. Got taken out for my birthday but the service was unfortunate with us waiting for the 'bottomless' drinks for an excessive time, to the point we had to go down to prompt a drinks order to then wait a further 10 minutes. The atmosphere was not to the groups liking, but they didn't seem to mind us playing our own music. It was unfortunate that the service was slow, as the food was incredible

Had a lovely meal and drinks here. Walked in bit early before evening opening but the owner/manager was very friendly and hospitable and offered us a seat and done us food and drinks. Definitely recommend, also had a great vibe

Cannot fault a thing. Brilliant cocktail, no scrimping on the rum. Had 3 small plates and all brilliant. Decision made due to mid week offers but at full price still well worth it. Thank you guys.

Have been to bombos a few times now. Food is always great with short wait times. We recently tried a bottomless brunch and it’s definitely good value for money, staff constantly asking if you want more drinks which was great! Both upstairs and downstairs areas are lovely!

Restaurant was cold and the 'large' portion was far too small to justify the £15.25 price tag. Shame as the food is tasty.

Disappointing visit for a first time. Visited as a part of a group and made pre-orders. The food was delivered in a completely mixed manner with no collective intention. Sadly I got my main after everyone had almost finished and the starter even after that. Maybe food isn’t served as a starter / main in the same way but it didn’t make for much of an impression for anyone on the evening. Staff were pleasant enough but they can get food out quicker than it comes.

It was my first to come here. I didn't even know it's there until i passed through town. Lovely place with a calm atmosphere. The food was delicious and very nicely presented. The staff who served us was very friendly and recommended good food.

Had our anniversary meal here tonight (15/09/23) had the most beautiful food we’d ever tasted and service was spot on. Can’t wait to come back ❤️

Me and my partner came in on a quiet Sunday (i let her order). We had a cocktail each - made to perfection. I had a minty one (terrible with names). She ordered some of the crispy pork bites, the duck spring rolls (tastes homemade), Chicken Gyozas, crispy squid rings & Bao Buns w/ pork with a reccomendation from the friendly bar staff. Crispy squid rings were my favourite and it all went down very well. We thought it was so good that we tried to convince a couple who were perusing the menu to go in when we left. Very good.

First time at Bombos after which we sat there saying "why have we never been here before....that was superb!" Firstly the team of staff are brilliant. Personable, knowledgeable about the food and nice people. The food is beautiful!! Fresh, perfectly plated, the right amount, flavours, textures , I could go on ! So so good! Can not recommend this place enough and can't wait to go back!

This place is a little gem, we loved the experience, we ordered some small plates to share and we had a couple of lovely cocktails. Food was fresh, good quality and flavourful. Friendly service. Highly recommend Bombos! We will be back soon!

Me and 2 friends had bottomless brunch and the service, food and drinks were all amazing! We loved the atmosphere as it was busy enough but not overcrowded. Would definitely recommend and I will be visiting again 😊

Bottomless brunch was bangin. Four of us went and managed to have plenty of drinks in the time we had, and the food was delicious. Staff were quick to serve our drinks! Only criticism is that the website said it was £29pp but on arrival we were told it’s actually £34pp. But it’s worth the price so long as you drink enough!

I called to enquire about an order as the restaurant is shown on ubereats, was spoken to so so rudly by the staff when I was just trying to tell them that they're available to order from on ubereats and asking why the order cancelled. Will absolutely never go here to eat again purely due to how incredibly rude the member of staff was which I spoke with. If you don't do orders, don't advertise there. And if its incorrectly advertised, don't speak so rudly to customers enquiring.

Friendly service. Best bibimbap I’ve had in ages. Followed it up with a pair of Bao. Struggling to move now. Good value too.

Great little place, serving an asian menu. We shared a couple of the 'small plates' as a starter - chicken satay skewers and some salmon sushi rolls, very nice. We then both opted for the crispy chilli beef, again very nice. They do a bottomless brunch, which a few seemed to be partaking of, but as I was driving had to leave that alone! Would definitely visit again when I Shrewsbury.

We came here Saturday 19 03 23 for my birthday brunch after a little confusion over our booking the staff were tottally amazing and completely accomadating, food was delicious, but the cocktails were the stars , will definitely be returning thanks again for a wonderful afternoon

The food is so good here! We've been today and had duck bao buns, crispy sweet chili beef with rice, and teriyaki chicken noodles. All delicious ☺️

It was truly a great experience dining at Bombas. We enjoyed cocktails, wine and food. They have such a great selection of Asian tapas but our favourites were the prawn crackers, Braised Crispy Pork Bites, Satay Chicken Skewers and the Gyoza.

We enjoyed an evening meal here recently and were not disappointed. Between us, we sampled a number of dishes; gyoza's, Bao Buns, Udon Noodles and Katsu Curry and all tasted great and of good quality. Service from all staff was friendly and welcoming and we look forward to returning again. Although we were visiting for food, others came in for drinks as they had a good cocktail selection on offer!

Found this little gem on Google maps. So so glad I did. The food is incredible. We had three small plates of salt and pepper chicken, teriyaki chicken skewers and duck rolls. We then ordered noodles and a BBQ chicken bao. The food was fast, well cooked and tasted amazing. Even managed to squeeze in some puddings! Service was great and the cocktails were lovely

Booked a table tonight for me and my Dad for our biannual night out. The food was absolutely spot on, so tasty, flavourful, hot, beautifully presented and the staff were excellent. Highly recommend to anyone wanting something a little different or just some drinks with some tasty bites in between. Excellent all round.

Great cocktail bar, the place is clean and has friendly staff. Good selection of mixers and cocktails, still have 2 good beers on tap, small place but seems very popular! Cocktails looked great! Prices where fair considering it’s in Shrewsbury and the type of bar it is! I Recommend this place

Had a very enjoyable night, staff are friendly, polite and very efficient. Food was really fresh and tasty but it was as a little expensive for the amount you got. Would recommend but bring a full wallet.

The institution is in the very center of the ancient city of Shrewsbury. We ordered seafood. They didn't wait long. The food is very tasty. The portions are not large. But we liked it!

The place it self is clean and the staff are lovely. However my raman was tasteless, it could of done with slightly more spice and coriander, maybe more flavour to the stock as that's where the flavour is . The pork was melt in your mouth but yet again not much flavour. Maybe try shredding the pork so that it gains flavour with spicy broth. This is not a complaint more like a suggestion as people have different palettes.

Really disappointed with Bombos sadly. The service was slow, although super friendly. We waited for ages to order drinks more than once. Food was also quite slow to come out but they were full and many tables waiting food. The food itself was poor. Very overpriced for portion size and quality. I had the kimchi rice which lacked flavour, the crispy beef which was chewy and a tiny portion, and the sushi rolls. The sushi rolls were ok but quite salty, although good portion of them. I have been before for cocktails and find them too sweet, most are fruity which is mainly the issue but this is more personal taste as my friends like them. On the plus side my wine was very reasonable. Because I don't like the cocktails and the food was quite bland and very poor value for money, I won't be returning. All my friends also said the same. With plenty of amazing eateries in Shrewsbury I think Bombos will need to up it's game to compete. Staff were very friendly (if not very attentive) though!

Had walked past a few times as the atmosphere and decor looked inviting. Unfortunately the food was average at best. Perhaps this was because it was midweek but the bao buns were not fresh, the sweet potato chips burnt and the aubergine undercooked. Would not recommend for food, but I’m sure you’d have a good time for drinks.

Our first time visit here and we weren't disappointed. Very relaxed, unusual drinks and themed glasses made it feel very different to the other bars in town. We saw some food coming out that smelled delicious, so we are definitely coming back for a Witch Doctor and food

Been here a few times and I’m never disappointed. They do a great happy hour menu with £4 cocktails! Tasty tapas, I love the tempura prawns and I want to try the sushi at some point. The cocktails tend to be very fruity so if that’s not your thing then maybe avoid this place but I’m sure they must do some classic cocktails too if you just ask. Great service and I always love the music.

Very disappointing experience. We heard it was a great restaurant but were sad to find that was not the case. The servers were all teenagers, which is fine except ours was rude, undertrained and inexperienced. She didn't know anything about the menu so couldn't help and told us to just look for things that could work when asked about vegan dishes. She forgot to put in someone's order and was unapologetic about it and we ended up waiting 40 minutes for our food. Unfortunately the food was bland. We ordered a few dishes including Thai noodles which had no flavour and a main which tasted nice but was extremely overpriced for what it was.

Great food and really exceptional cocktails

An ace discovery on a wet and windy evening. I loved the small plate menu and a really interesting range of fusion dishes, with plentiful vegan and veggie options. The katsu tofu strips were a fave as were the taco onari. Highly recommended and friendly and knowledgeable staff to boot! If I wasn't driving I would have had another Camden pale!

Lovely, sat outside on a Sunday lunchtime, home made fish fingers and the chicken sandwich were divine, lovely bread, well seasoned. Great friendly service too. Really good prices too. First class experience, thank you we loved it.

The food was really good but they served a warm bottle of white wine that they charged £20 for but was a recognisable wine that costs about £4 in most supermarkets. I can understand the poor choice of wine as it's a cocktail bar but they only had 3 wines on the list and the white one was different to the one advertised and it was awful. On a positive note the spacing between tables was good and the staff were very friendly.

Such a cute place with lovely food. So good for veggies/vegans, and the cocktails are amazing! Our waitress Emily was lovely and friendly, as were the rest of the staff. 100% recommend!!
