Bombay Chow Brasserie in Hillingdon

AVERAGE- You get welcomed with a very dirty floor. The carpet at the entrance is not cleaned in ages. Staff was friendly. Food was was good but nothing extraordinary. Its like just another indian restaurant. Naans and tanddori roti felt like they are using frozen. We asked a curry dish with no chiilies and peppers but it had some and the kids were uncomfortable because of it.

My wife and I really enjoyed our meal, we were served by a waiter called Ashik and he really looked after us, the service was quick but at the same time we never felt rushed.

We ordered for a family event and the whole service was absolutely amazing. The food was packed really well and was easy to serve. We ordered indo-chinese dishes and all of them were 10/10. Vally was incredibly helpful with our reservation and gave us great food recommendations. Bidya, who served us, was attentive and ensured everything was perfect throughout. The Gymkhana vibe & setting of the restaurant is so contemporary and elegant 😀 so beautiful 🤩 real ambience of vintage gymkhana vibe or old British colonial era. Furniture and cutlery gives posh experience. This place has very hidden from since while as we have never came across on Google or somebody mentioning. But they were really busy on Friday night. So we have tried couple of starters, spinach chat we found tasty but very sweet. It needed some green'spicy chutney & bit of onion. They we did, Kolkata chilli paneer which was really tasty 😋 paneer was soft and overall dish was medium spicy which was nice. And we had Corn malai methi curry which was delicious but more on a sweeter side & daal bukhara was original as well. I'm very sure that chef can alter apice levels according to your needs. On top we appreciate service by Dimpal & another tall guy with glasses. 👍 Overall it was a decent good food with great vibe experience. Will definitely go back again to try more dishes. Cheers. Food is amazing. You have to try the crispy spinach to start with, an explosion of different flavours in your mouth. We had the special which was a goat curry alongside the chicken biryani - all very tasty.

Bombay chow is a very good restaurant for that desi flavour. We really liked their indo chinese food menu. Bidhya was a really good host and overall the service was also very fast.

We had a lovely lunch at Bombay Chow Brasserie today. Had a mix of indo Chinese and some Indian and everything was yum. Highly recommend the Kung pao lotus stem. And the food is served with very smiley helpful staff. We were served by Bindhya who was lovely. Thank you for a great lunch. Will be back again soon

We had dinner with our close family who was visiting us from USA and they wanted to have nice Chinese and Punjabi food. We loved the food and whole experience was very pleasant… Last but not least the staff was really helpful.. helped us decide food and even offer wine testing so that we can decide what will suit with dinner. Would love to come back here….

Been several times and also order food online a lot of times. They have a great and most consistent food quality. They have a banquet happening every weekend . Good choice of music playing constantly. Service team is good and attentive. We often visit this place now and then.

Terrible service We booked a table for 3 people on Monday to dine on Friday the 22nd of November at 8pm. When we showed up there was a private party, the music was very loud and difficult to have a conversation with guests from the party spilling out from their function room into the restaurant. This I can deal with and understand that sometimes this is beyond the staff’s control. We were shown to our table which was a small round coffee table in the walkway. We let the manager know that he couldn’t possibly expect us to eat with people brushing past us. He then told us that our actual table is still occupied by the previous guests. He really didn’t seem bothered, was rude and didn’t care. It was actually appalling. Plenty of amazing Indian restaurants to choose from in the area…..spend your hard earned cash somewhere where they welcome you.

The place could be a real gem but so dated- specifically the toilets, the decor and even the windows. It looks very unattractive despite the great food served here. Wish the owners did justice by doing some refurbishments and giving the place, the amazing location and the breathtaking view of the golf course reach its potential. The GEM here iS Dhruva who served me- very kind, friendly and attentive. She is absolutely fabulous and knows how to render a great service.

Bombay Chow hosted our family Diwali event this year We had the private space in the back and it was great, everyone had a wonderful time as we were able to move around and have a bit more space. Food was great, Pratik was dedicated to us for the whole time we were there and he was wonderful. Manish was very accommodating to any request and communicative throughout the planning process. Would recommend for any large group event!

Decided to have an early Sunday dinner here. We didn't have a reservation but were accommodated quickly and provided with a comfortable private table. Service was very attentive, food arrived promptly, and portion sizes were good. The lamb chops were excellent (£17 for 4 chops) and all other dishes were very tasty. Suggest more sauce is provided with the Bhajiya but that's a minor point.

The food and service by Pratik was truly exceptional and he suggested spinach chaat and told us it’s our Signature dish thanks to pratik for amazing choice loved it❤️ I highly recommend this restaurant

Had heard lots about this place and we were excited to try it. We went as an extended family to celebrate Diwali. Disappointed dissatisfied and definitely not going back! Setting Nothing special, it’s in the clubhouse of a run down looking golf club. Nice spacious tables and seats were comfortable. Service Waiters looks lost, lots to staff but they were not attentive enough, having to call them over all the time they are in need for additional training. We were 4 Kids and 4 adults, with the kids at the end of the long table. The waiters only stood at the end where the kids were to serve us ! Having to shout to order and struggling to hear them. Eventually we had to ask them to walk round to the adults side of the table. Lack of attention, they only provide 7 plates for the 8 of us for the main course, they didn’t clear old drinks glasses even when we ordered new drinks, when we asked about the portion sizes they struggled to advise us. Food Starters were so cold!!! and over massively priced £17 for 2 lamb chops ! Shocked. When I complained about the food temperature they bought out 3 samosas between 8 of us as an apology, an actual joke ! Food was overall good and tasty. Chicken in the curry was not chicken breast and a bit fatty, the lamb was the same too! Really disappointed! Overall nothing like the Fatt Pundit (sister restaurant in London). Way better options in North London save your money and go elsewhere!

We totally love the ambiance. The manager and staff all of them are so humble and approachable which is really appreciative. Food was really really nice both starter and main course. And how they plate the food😍. I love fresh berries mojito. Not to forget the kulfi was the perfect choice to end our dinner.

- After hearing good things about this place I was excited to give it a try - Unfortunately, food and understaffed restaurant really let the place down - Wait staff: Helpful and courteous when they came but honestly for a group of 7 we had to call them over each time. For example, between starters and mains no one checked on us, same after mains when all the plates were empty. It was bare minimum - Starters took over 45 minutes, when we prompted it came out immediately but was ALL lukewarm like it had been sitting in the kitchen for some time. While we told them, they didn’t check the rest of the starters (all same issue) so we had to send them all back - They then returned within less than 5 minutes with the starters boiling hot. Genuinely we all felt they were just popped in the microwave and brought back out

Worst Indo-Chinese food I have had in recent time. All the starters were full of batter and undercooked / ininedible. One of the starters was supposed to be crispy but it was all soggy, again full of batter and completely undercooked. Tried to log a complaint with just eat with pictures but I got a response that is the cooking style of the restaurant! Daal bukhara was a joke - so flavour less and again a bit undercooked but atleast better than their starters. The food is massively overpriced too

A little pricy for the portion size. £17 for two lamb chops. Although they were good quality. The restaurant could do with a little refurb. Also the staff are definitely racist, if you are Asian you will get great service. If you’re white like us, expect to wait to be served. Worth a visit but we will stick to Namaste where they aren’t racist and the venue is nicer. We also paid under the service charge and they came and asked for it. 12.5%

Visited Bombay Chow fully expecting great things based on a recommendation. Firstly we were seated without menus and we had to ask. Secondly no one came for drinks again and we had to ask. Thirdly we gave clear instructions about an allergy to our waiter which he supposedly wrote down and repeated it back to us. What a shock when the allergen was in two dishes. What made it worse is that another waitress started to dismiss our point and stated we can’t guarantee the allergen trace would not be present. In that case don’t offer us the dish then!! She was incredibly rude, stand offish and stuck up and could not handle the situation professionally. In then end she got her manager who again never apologised. The starters were good however the portions only filled half the plate! The chana masala didn’t have enough masala, don’t bother! It’s a shame as the starters were good but the staff were rude and never checked if we were okay. Therefore I will not be going back.

Having visited Bombay Chow this Saturday for a birthday celebration family of 9 - wasn’t impressed- ordered drinks which came out at different timings, had to wait a long time before they all arrived! Ordered starters all came out mostly together, quality of food was ok - lamb chops were overcooked and a totally burnt out black bone, left a terrible after taste. Spinach chaat was soft and sogy. Chilli paneer was half a portion and plate was half empty! I’ve visited Bombay chow 3 times in the last 3 months but this time was a total let down! The one thing I need to point out was when the BILL arrived having getting a glimpse I spotted 2 mixed grills of £40 and 6 pints of Stella and a chocolate cake been added to bill which we never even ordered, the waiter apologised and got those items removed… After requesting to the manager to come over to he was no where to be seen! Did not even bother to come over… I have visited this restaurant 3 times in the last 3 months and have spent a whopping £1400 total - and never checked the bill could there have been items been added on made me think, and learnt to check the bill in future. I feel these items was added intentionally as not everyone sits there and check. Please do check your bill if visiting this restaurant don’t want anyone to be scammed. We will not be returning here again. Lost a genuine customer.

Bombay Chow is decent place nestled on Northwood. Being at the golf course, it's got decent parking space for visitors. The food is good and service is fairly quick. The ambience seems to be a bit old fashioned but nice. It's a quieter place so it's easier to talk.and listen within the group without shouting. Overall decent place.

This is an excellent restuarant. It has got everythig that one need dine out with friends families. Beautiful interior, marvellous garden overseeing the golf course. The food is amazing in terms of the athenticity & taste. You know what made my experience even better is the topping of the cordial service that I got from "Manish & Team". Top people, Top service, Top ambience & Top food ! Will vsit there again !

We organised my Son's 21st birthday celebration at Bombay Chow in Northwood, the team were quite helpful prior to and during our event. The private function room was suitable for about 40 people, this was perfect for our requirements. Great food with good table service provided, they even adapted the recipes to have less salt and chilli. Views of the golf course are very pleasant and there's plenty of parking on site, we'll definitely be coming back here again. Thank you to Digi, Manish and rest of the team for all of your efforts, we had a fantastic evening!
