The food, service and ambience were really great and definitely worth a visit. We enjoyed it very much and would love to come back!

Made a visit with my husband and 5 teenagers. Very nice tapas bar, lovely people, delicious food, great atmosphere. Loved it!

Very nice time. All the food we ordered was exquisite. It was very quiet but the PA was playing entertaining lounge versions of pop/rock songs :D Would certainly return.

Been here twice and highly recommend their chicken quesadilla and provoleta (melted Provolone cheese option). Everyone I know who have tried the chicken quesadilla (sample size: 4) has loved it, something about the sauce makes is soo good. Beef short ribs are also delicious, cooked perfectly and very well seasoned. Service has been great both times too, very easy going and friendly staff! One of my favourites in the area.

A really disappointing experience. We were a party of 8. The staff made several mistakes with our order & then insisted they got it right. One of us hardly had any food because he was waiting for what he had ordered. Waitress was dismissive and rude. The quality of the food was mediocre. The potato bravas was mashed potatoe & sauce. Just a very poor experience. Avoid!

Excellent quality of Argentine meat! The sweet potatoes are unmissable and the quesadillas and burrata are highly recommended! The good vibes of the guys who serve and the atmosphere make Bocas one of the best options to eat delicious food, have a great time and enjoy a good cocktail in the most beautiful area of ​​London. I will return on my next trip!!

Nice food. However given that we were a large group sharing a buffet, serving spoons and knives to portion up would be welcome so people weren't having to double dip with forks just been in their mouths.

Just paid £25 for a plate of 6 pieces of cheese and a couple of slices of ham. Served like sht as well. What a joke even for London, the only good dish which I personally tried was Provoleta. Not worth the money at all. Avoid

We went here initially sort of by accident but what a fabulous accident it was! Delicious food, very plentiful at a reasonable price and the service was warm and friendly. A lovely find, a great atmosphere made this a place I'd love to go back to :)

I do not know where to start. The food was good, no complaints, but I hate being teased like that. It is an Argentine-Spanish “restaurant” focused on the English. They will like to be teased. The food is the minimum and at an exorbitant price for what they serve you. The worst thing is the feeling you get when they serve you the dishes. Maybe in Perfidious Albion they are used to paying prices just for the sake of it. I will never return to that place and I don't even remotely recommend it. Don't waste your time. Besides, you leave with a very bad taste in your mouth. And much less go with children. They are some stupid people who don't move. It is possible that there are people like that... as I said, I don't even post photos of the dishes. They don't even deserve it. In Spain they say: “to rob Sierra Morena” and that is what they should do. That people! Love the 🍸 cocktails, coffee and vibe. The music is fantastic😀😀Aperol is the best in area 😀 excellent customer service , 2 gentleman’s who has served us kindly let us in, even the place was fully booked for today just to enjoy a drink 😀 definitely will come back here again with my Nan:) thank you 🙏🏻!

Nice South American tapas with very friendly service

We dined on a Sunday evening at Bocas.. the food was really tasty especially the chicken quesadillas which just melted in the mouth! I also enjoyed a really tasting caiprinha cocktail, one of the best tasting in the UK. Service was great with a very friendly waiter. Only downside is that quite a few dishes we wanted to order were not available / had run out. And also the padron peppers were slightly overcooked. But we would definitely recommend dining here nonetheless!

Food was good, would go again. Although, I do find the 13.51% service charge rather absurd, bit of a suss number, and considering I did not feel I got £(13.51% of my bill) in service. I’d sleep much better at night if they had instead charged me the same bill, but bumped up all the prices for each food item, rather than being hit with an inflated service charge. Pure curiosity, why 13.51%? Seems slightly deceptive.

I went here last night for dinner. Seated on a table right next to the door so we were absolutely freezing cold. A few item not on the menu, that wasn’t stated at the start. Service wasn’t anything special when asking what the dishes were for clarification the waiter just said ‘yes’ as if we were stupid. No dessert offered, no extra drinks offered. Just got ignored after our plates were cleared. Asked for the bill and the waiter couldn’t even be bothered to turn around and say yes. Then slapped on a 13.5% service charge for service that wasn’t that great However on the plus side. The steak was AMAZING as was the chorizo was beautiful. Prawns weren’t to my liking as they tasted frozen. Overall, the food is decent. But the service needs more energy as the lack of it really brought down the meal.

Great ambiance, great service, great taste! A few more comments on the food: we ordered flap steak and skirt steak; they were both very good and impressive. The chicken quesadilla is okay, but I wouldn’t say they are ‘the best I have ever had’ (as said in one of the reviews here). Pil-pil prawn and pardon peppers are both delicious in an unimpressive way.

We tried a few of the tapas and the steaks - everything was top notch, specially the steaks… some of the best I’ve had in London. The atmosphere was relaxed and lively. We’ll definitely visit again.

We spent New Years Eve at Bocas with a big group of friends where Paolo and the rest of the staff made everything to make it be an amazing night. We hade a wide variety of Tapas and Argentinian steaks, which were all on point. The food quality and service from the waiters really stood out, we’ll definitely be back.

What a blast at Restaurant Boxes with my crew of 8! We basically ordered the entire menu, and the staff? Pure gems. Patient, funny, and just downright cool, even when we were a bunch of excited chatterboxes. Props to them for making our feast extra special! Thank you. 🥰

Nice place with a lot of potential. I have been Thursday but it was very quite. The stuff is friendly and the empanadas really good.

We enjoyed a work lunch at Bocas. The food was fantastic and Leire's service was just perfect, attentive but not overbearing. Everything was served fresh and warm + tasty. Great cocktail menu. Slight markdown for atmosphere as we were the only clients in at the time but I suppose this cannot be helped. Would definitely visit again.

This has been a magical evening. Is it always going to be a good friends stag do? No. But I know that this delightful place will always have a tender steak ready for me, come rain or stag.

Very nice place with a great atmosphere, we visited the place on a Wednesday and I was shock how busy it was. Very good selection on cocktails with a delicious tapas food, the steak is something else 🤤!!! Definitely we will come back

The food is distinctly average. The bread seems to have been bought by Asda and is just basic baguette. We ordered a lot of food to be fair and no alcohol but it came to nearly £50 per head. There is better out there!

Edit 20 days later: sad to say we've returned for a celebration and it was pretty disappointing. We asked for a better table and were declined because it was for 'bigger groups' (that never came!). The chips were undercooked, some new recipes that weren't so good, a mojito with whole ice cubes (in a cocktail bar??) I guess it just depends who's working on the night! Lovely spot to relax, eat, drink and chat. The music is not too loud, it's chilled and ambient. The food is fantastic. Hosts are fun and lovely. My only wish is that the sangria jars were a little bigger... ;) And that we'd stopped here sooner! My partner said 'That might be the best quesadilla I've ever had'.

Food is ridiculously good and a great price. I've been there twice and had almost everything on the menu. My favourite has been the Steak, Burger and Quesada
