Just witnessed the staff here deal with an incredibly busy post-transfer test service period. They all did it with smiles, patience and great energy, getting though the queue as quickly as possible. Round of applause to each and everyone!

I visited Bob & Berts Magherafelt at around 1pm on a Wednesday. Despite forgetting to lift my table number, the staff were all quite polite about it, and the table's food still came hot. My fries and goujons were good quality, and were definitely enjoyed. The cloudy lemonade is also quite refreshing in this weather, and I would recommend it. On arrival, a few tables were not cleared, but this issue was sorted quite quickly, leaving me to believe the place is mostly clean. The music is loud enough to be heard, but not loud enough that it drowns out all conversations, so the atmosphere is ideal for a brunch with friends or such. Overall, quite a nice place for a bite to eat, and would hope to be visiting again!

This place is not good for food.ive been in it before and it hasn t changed.they need to up their game and for the price it should be better.

I’ve ate at many ‘fast food’ places but Jenna at the till out truly outstanding. Knowledgeable, efficient, professional and very effective in her job. Well done Jenna! Loved the location, varied menu, quick service. In and out with good food.

This is a very spacious cafe with enough seating to cater for everyone the menu is very varied and easy to understand as it's lit up on the main wall where you go to get your food and drinks the staff are very friendly, efficient and helpful, we were served by Katherine Wilson who was more than helpful and service with a smile

Great range of drinks, especially for someone like me who can't drink coffee or cows milk! Lots of herbal teas and a selection of milk alternatives. I haven't tried the food yet but it looked great.

Unique selection of food sets this apart from normal coffee/fast food chains. Staff were knowledgeable and helpful too

It was a pity for the 2nd time I have visited I was yet again served, over cooked dried up black pudding as everything else was great, really was a let down.

Amazing place. Absolutely huge menu, so hard to pick what to get. Got a buffalo chicken burger, with hallumi sticks. Delicious. Great decor, comfortable seats and friendly staff. First time in magherafelt and only stopped for something to eat, was worth it. Made me think of visiting one more local to where I live. Very satisfied.

As usual in their establishments food and staff are wonderful. Magherafelt today my only gripe was the air condition unit, give me the shivers.

Food is very tasty. I had the large hallion burger, and it is exactly what is sounds like. Man was I stuffed. Bit on the expensive side all the same.

i had a lovely breakfast as good as i would get at home the waitress was very helpful and took my tray to the table. i can highly recomend this place. date was 15 th july

Mixed views, very good coffee but stale and soft shortbread

Ice coffees are really hit and miss. Had a couple of times now and it’s either too sweet or too bitter. The hollandaise sauce really needs improving.

Visited here during a shopping trip. Staff were so friendly. Pastries and buns were all fresh and looked amazing. Ordered a latte and some buns and it did not disappoint. Sat outside due to covid-19 restrictions, tables were 2meters apart and clear instructions as to what side to enter, where to order and exit etc.

Lovely selection of food and speciality drinks, coffees, teas, smoothies. Very friendly efficient service.

The coffee is alright. I had breakfast as as treat with my family and was disappointed. My food took forever to come and when it came it came cold. I also ordered tea which came cold. The music was very loud and was hard to hear each other. At the end we asked for 2 coffees and I stood there quiet a while

My daughter pacify asked a member of staff which tray bake was a vegan option, he wasn't sure so he asked another colleague who assured my daughter it was vegan. After we were seated she then asked, could she add to her order and was told she would have to go to the back of the queue, After eating her caramel square she discovered it wasn't actually vegan and when complained to a member of staff, she was told well its actually up to the customer to read the label as well, and it obviously states there's milk in it. Which I didn't find helpful at all, just thought her whole attitude was rude. I also pointed out at this stage I was still waiting on my tea to arrive 20 mins later. The manager then arrived and apologised and asked if there was anything she cud do to help and refunded the price of the caramel square that we should never have been given in the first place along with the tea, which I couldnt drink as my daughter was crying her eyes out. The Manager also offered my daughter the food that she wanted to add on to are order free of charge but we also declined as we cudnt be sure the food they were serving was actually vegan. The Manager then went and spoke to the owner who sent the 1st member of staff back to us With a £10 voucher for any of there Bob and Berts cafes which we declined as i found it very insulting and was even more annoyed as I thought if the owner of the shop was there he should have at least came and spoke to my daughter. I was so annoyed as this left my daughter feeling really upset and physically sick. The whole complaint was dealt with in the wrong way, and was not taking seriously at all, Needless to say we would not recommend Bob and Berts in Magherafelt and will never step a foot through the doors again. Feeling and angry and totally disgusted.

Fantastic coffee, fantastic food.

We had a very disappointing experience in the Magherafelt branch yesterday. Hot food was ordered at 4:50pm and arrived at our table at 5:40pm. Seriously?? I get the food is being cooked fresh but a 50min wait is beyond a joke. I questioned at 5:25pm had we been forgotten about and the girl reassured me we hadn't and would only be another couple of mins. Two tables who sat down after we ordered had been served their hot food and left while we were still waiting. Trying to keep two hungry children entertained for 50mins isn't easy. We'll not be returning again anytime soon.

Love Bob & berts across the country. Magherafelt has went down hill dince Covid 19. Am in bob and berts most days in some town. Magherafelt had lost its spark in service and management.

Basic food. Got a bagel burnt to a crisp think they were trying to hide the fact it was stale. Rainbow bow cake lovely great coffee . Atmosphere okay...

Very handy to access in the middle of Magherafelt. Food was very tasty, staff were pleasant and attentive. Restroom was clean and tidy, and smelled fresh. In addition to the relaxed seating at the front of the cafe there is a tabled area with sockets and usb plugs. Perfect for an informal lunch meeting.

Lovely place. Really fresh looking and nice. Lovely staff. Beautiful food. I got the stack fry thing. Nice and filling. Cup of tea too. Nice plates and mugs too. Simple but nice. Normally would have ate in slims but this is much brighter and lighter feeling. Good spot. Definitely be back.

Love this place, friendly staff quick service and great food. We had the ranch burger with curry chips today and a Piri piri chicken burger with garlic fries. Amazing as usual and on the table within 10 minutes of ordering at 1.00. Highly recommended
