This is a burger bar. There's not a lot more to say. It could be so much better but it isn't. It's just average. One could argues it doesn't pretend to be anything else, but it just strikes us as a missed opportunity. Have a meal at the Victoria opposite and spot the difference

It is a pleasant setting on top floor above the Kings Arms. We had booked as we were a table of 8 at 8pm. On arrival we were greeted by a happy waitress explaining that due to Covid/social distancing rules she was the only waitress serving the whole restaurant. We accepted this at face value but then waited over 20 mins to order drinks. On reflection I am sure there could have been a drinks server and a waitress which could social distance together and speed things along but I don't run the place or pay wages. We had one non fish eater in the group and gad checked before for a non fish item...steak. However the opening pitch was they had sold out of steak. Ultimately we agreed that they could produce some pasta in a napoliana sauce. I know going to a fish restaurant the emphasis is on fish but I feel non fish items should also be available. The "pan" dishes are interesting 3 x small fish options in a single pan means you don't have to choose between sea bass, scallops or tiger prawns.. you can have all 3. I shared the large fish platter with a friend there was plenty of fish although it wasn't particularly warm when served. There were other comments about luke warm food. Wine went down well and there is a fairly wide choice or price and style. As you will see from the attached bill we had £50 of miscellaneous food, still not sure what it was. Overall bill of £300 for 8 is reasonable but would have been better value had the restaurant participated in the govt "eat out to help" but apparently they are too busy and don't need to bother with it....thanks for the extra £80 charge. Overall this could be a very nice place but at the moment, with covid excuses, it is just OK.

The coffee is great and the best prices around for the quality and size. The light bites were delicious, again very well priced for what you get. Would definitely recommend if you aren’t too fussed about coffee with a view or environment or brand name.

Awful from start to finish. The staff were clueless and the food and drinks were mediocre at a push. Loaded fries were more like semi dusted with topping and straight out of the freezer. The buttermilk chicken burger was more like a mini chicken fillet. When we complained we were met with a staff member who obviously wasn’t trained to deal with complaints as her response was ‘you keep complaining’! I would not recommend this restaurant and I find it strange how they claim to have hundreds of happy customers but only a handful of reviews on TA. Work out what you are. Are you a cocktail bar or a restaurant? May I also suggest that if you are the owner you maybe spend a bit more time working at your own restaurant and also train your staff.

Unfortunately extremely overpriced and very limited choice. Is not what Sailor V was in previous years! Wouldn't waste my time going back... Plenty of nicer venues in the centre of town at more reasonable prices

Beautifully situated on the waterfront, opposite Queen Anne's Battery Marina. Wonderful panoramic views in all directions and a hot spot if you catch the sun right. Outside decor and furniture's not all that and could do with an update but the food, wine and service is divine. I only had a starter and was pleasantly surprised - king prawns I chorizo and garlic cream based sauce, served with garlic buttered Ciabataa on the side, & a wedge of lemon. I also had a glass of Pinot Noir Della Venezie, sharp, crisp and delisch with the food.
