Blues Bar Crosbyar in Sefton

My friend and I were visiting Crosby and decided to stop for lunch. Food OK but service awful. Young girl pleasant, can't say the same about the older woman who served our food. No smile, no pleasantries, i wouldn't say she was rude but her attitude wasn't. If you work in hospitality, be hospitable. A smile goes a long way. Won't go back.

Booked brunch for 6 ladies to celebrate a 70th birthday. On arrival there were two (complimentary) balloons decorating the table which was dressed perfectly. Annmarie was on duty that day and oh what an excellent service she and her team gave us, absolutely nothing was too much trouble for her, even going out in the rain to see if our taxi had arrived when we were moving on. She even dropped off the balloons to the evening restaurant we were going to. A big thank you Annmarie you helped make our celebrations special.

We booked ahead for brunch for 35 “day after the wedding” guests. Ann reserved most of the restaurant for us. She was very welcoming and organised. The service was very good and everybody thoroughly enjoyed the food. I had the corned beef hash, which was delicious. The atmosphere was great. I would definitely book for a big party again. Went for a bit to eat and a few drinks with hubby, it's a local bar to us. Service was great, very friendly and efficient. Drinks very reasonable and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Not sure what's going on with the menu though. The small plate Panang curry takes "Small Plate" to a whole new level. A tiny portion of curry without any small side of rice or bread to eat it with - not cheap at £9. Not sure what you are supposed to eat it with? Had to order a side of bread to go with it. Other small plates just OK. Food quality and portions were always good in here in past so hope they sort it out. Still had a nice time, waitress was lovely.

Had a fab time in blues for bottomless brunch , couldn’t fault the service , food, staff (Isaac and Ann ) drinks flowing , great day x

Mi familia y yo tuvimos una comida fantástica en Blues, la comida era excepcional y tenía una buena relación calidad-precio, parte de nuestro grupo había comido allí antes y en su recomendación reservamos y no nos arrepentimos, el personal fue atento sin estar en su Cara, a todos nos encantó y definitivamente regresaremos, ya terminamos Blues.

Llevé a mi amiga a una comida el sábado pasado ya que no es de Liverpool y nunca ha estado aquí. No nos decepcionó la comida era absolutamente increíble y el servicio fue estupendo. Definitivamente volveré otra vez no podría fallar nada.

Mi esposa y yo habíamos estado haciendo algunas compras en el pueblo y cuando llegó la hora del almuerzo, Beth decidió que le apetecía un bocadillo. No soy un gran comedor de almuerzos, pero pensé que tomaría una taza de té mientras ella comía. Había un pequeño almuerzo con variaciones en el menú que consistía en un par de huevos escalfados Benedict en una cama de salmón ahumado, que se veía muy sabroso, así que decidí probarlo. El plato fue servido tan fresco como podría ser, sabroso en extremo, por una encantadora dama. Tenía un precio muy razonable y era suficiente para satisfacer sin ser demasiado abundante. Había visto el bar antes, pero no le había dado ningún aviso, pero después de este delicioso almuerzo, creo que volveré allí otra vez.

Llamado en mota y no nos decepcionó. Menú de almuerzo a precios razonables, pedimos 2 plowman's almuerzos y pedimos ser modificado un par de cosas. La camarera era amable y estaba hecho. La comida era muy buena, con jamón al horno. Sólo una cosa, cuando estás recortando de un pan de pan que ha sido parados por un tiempo, deseche el primer corte, que tiende a ser staler que el resto. Aparte de que disfrutamos de nuestra comida.

Visité con la familia, pensé en un nuevo espacio abierto, ventanas, la renovación puede haber mejorado el lugar de calidad, ¡INCORRECTO! Todavía servicio de mierda.

All food made fresh to order. the best ever salt n pepper chips I have ever tasted. great deals. ie: 2 large amazing Pizzas and a bottle of wine £23. Well recommended.

Amazing food, Great bands, even better atmosphere! bring your kids bring your grandparents!! all welcome!

Tucked away where nobody knows is a great little bar/restaurant we only found it due to a taxi driver who had so many customers that had recommended it to him We turned up on a very wet & busy night (we hadn't booked ) 😬and staff where very welcoming and got us a table 👌 Bonus points for that Food was lovely I had the sea bass the staff recommended the salt and pepper chunky chips mmmmmm all in all could not fault the place Good food, good staff , good price

Sin reserva, llegamos al Blues Bar en Crosby temprano en la noche del viernes 18 de diciembre como un grupo de 4 adultos y 1 niño. El personal no podía haber nos hicieron sentir como en casa y el gran servicio continuó durante toda nuestra visita.La comida era muy buena. La pizza era genial, pero también lo fueron los cordero koftas, los kebabs de pollo Harissa marroquí y la Misa del Gallo en chapatis caseros.Como un bocado ligero e informal, el Blues Bar ofrece una fantástica relación calidad-precio y sin duda vale la pena una visita.

We went as a big family group of 13 last Friday night (21st November). It was fab, starters and pizzas all fresh, came on time for everyone,and authentic. Great atmosphere and a great family night out. Will be back soon.

Blues Bar serves delicious authentic Pizza, made on site with a great Pizza oven. The chef will do you whatever you want, how you want, as long as he has the ingredients. He does me a fantastic Goats cheese pizza, made to order, the way I like it. Great news is you can get 2 pizzas and a bottle of wine for £20 - again made to order as you like it. Pizzas are served from 4pm daily. If you like Italian Pizza get along to Blues.
