We were walking the high peak trail and came across the the Blueberry Kiosk . What a lovely surprise. Like an oasis in a desert. A lovely cup of tea and a hot sausage roll was just what we needed I'm a cool blustery day.

Amazing ice-cream portions, delicious homemade cake and a friendly service to boot. Thanks Sue and Sid! A great pit stop on the high peak trail.

We were 4 hungry blokes, in need of food and a hot drink, on a very cold, wet and windy day. The kiosk on the Tissington trail was a very welcome sight. The hot roast beef baps were top notch, just what we need, the scotch eggs also very good. We will definitely be back for more of the same.

We ate at the cafe after a bike ride. There were 19 of us (mostly adults with additional needs) and the staff were really helpful and pleasant. Most of us had the beef or chicken sandwiches and a coupe had paninis. The food was freshly prepared and really nice. I can also recommend the Bakewell slice! It's not the cheapest food ever but it is delicious and good quality and comes with awesome scenery. We'll definitely be back

Stopped here 2 days running as pit stops on the High Peak and Tissington trails. Very friendly service, plenty of choice for a quick bite. Delicious home made cakes and lovely coffee.

Stopped here while cycling the trail. Great little find right next to the cycle hire place. Very good coffee and a lovely bakewell slice. Yum! Service very good too.

Despite asking for the bacon on our cobs to be 'well done' my husband had raw fat on his which he couldn't eat. Amount of bacon not very generous for £3.95. Thought most of the prices on the menu were excessive, especially for a take out service and presentation. The ice cream was good - though a little soft indicating perhaps not being stored effectively.

Came here after cycling. The staff could be more charismatic and enthusiastic. Aside from the hair, the sausage and bacon cob was pretty nice. Soup was okay I guess. The "Homemade" chocolate cake was ... well let's just say I've had better food from a school meal.

After a long walk, we and others arrived at the kiosk hoping for a cold drink and snack. Closed early unfortunately, they lost a lot of custom on that day alone.

Haven't been here for a while and much better than I remembered. Stopped on a wet and cold autumn day after a long walk from further along the trail. Big mug of really hot coffee and a bacon cob in fresh bread with 2 good rashers of nicely cooked bacon served by a cheery young chap. Hard to beat.

Really lovely food, you wouldn't know it from the outside/inside - it's like any other pub but the food was really good. Had the best dessert - rice pudding with apple and nuts - to die for.

We started our day here and enjoyed a light bite choice off the menu and a drink, the place was really cozy and funky, had a good selection of food and drink on offer and I would happily visit again. The food cost us £19 and a large wine & pint came to £11
