Excellent coffee, the best decaf coffee I’ve drank in a long time. The local ice cream was tasty and creamy. Sue who served us was very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend calling here

. . . What a super set-up; a warm, friendly welcome from Sue and Lottie when hot drinks and refreshments were needed after our walk. The menu was amazing with so much choice, and the size of the cakes and sausage rolls was real value for money and delicious. We were pleasantly surprised; enjoyed our purchases whilst looking at a wonderful view . . .

Cycled from Tissington to blueberry kiosk and passed several places on route but everywhere else was closed! But luckily Sue and Erin saved the day, coffee had a lot of love in it and was amazing, great little place to stop with some awsome views. Great selection of food and drink and Erin and Sue were lovely and chatty definitely recommend.

Excellent cake and coffee in a beautiful setting served by cheery friendly staff. What’s not to like? What will we do for a smile and a drink when they are closed in the week over the winter? Rides just won’t be the same 🙁

We were 4 hungry blokes, in need of food and a hot drink, on a very cold, wet and windy day. The kiosk on the Tissington trail was a very welcome sight. The hot roast beef baps were top notch, just what we need, the scotch eggs also very good. We will definitely be back for more of the same.

We ate at the cafe after a bike ride. There were 19 of us (mostly adults with additional needs) and the staff were really helpful and pleasant. Most of us had the beef or chicken sandwiches and a coupe had paninis. The food was freshly prepared and really nice. I can also recommend the Bakewell slice! It's not the cheapest food ever but it is delicious and good quality and comes with awesome scenery. We'll definitely be back

Stopped here 2 days running as pit stops on the High Peak and Tissington trails. Very friendly service, plenty of choice for a quick bite. Delicious home made cakes and lovely coffee.

Stopped here while cycling the trail. Great little find right next to the cycle hire place. Very good coffee and a lovely bakewell slice. Yum! Service very good too.

Despite asking for the bacon on our cobs to be 'well done' my husband had raw fat on his which he couldn't eat. Amount of bacon not very generous for £3.95. Thought most of the prices on the menu were excessive, especially for a take out service and presentation. The ice cream was good - though a little soft indicating perhaps not being stored effectively.

Came here after cycling. The staff could be more charismatic and enthusiastic. Aside from the hair, the sausage and bacon cob was pretty nice. Soup was okay I guess. The "Homemade" chocolate cake was ... well let's just say I've had better food from a school meal.

After a long walk, we and others arrived at the kiosk hoping for a cold drink and snack. Closed early unfortunately, they lost a lot of custom on that day alone.

Haven't been here for a while and much better than I remembered. Stopped on a wet and cold autumn day after a long walk from further along the trail. Big mug of really hot coffee and a bacon cob in fresh bread with 2 good rashers of nicely cooked bacon served by a cheery young chap. Hard to beat.

We popped in here on the off chance today after a walk. Thankfully we managed to get a table and we are incredibly pleased we did. The service is professional and friendly. The food was brilliant. My Husband and Son had the Sunday lunch, which both of them were very impressed with. I had the fish and chips which was one of the the best ones I've every had in a restaurant. I would definitely recommend this restaurant but would imagine in the busy season you would have to book in advance.

The fish and chips was perfect, one of the best I've ever had, plus homemade tartare sauce. We also ordered the steak and ale pie and that was just as good. Chocolate orange cake was amazing. Definitely worth a detour if you're coming back from the Peak District after a hike!
