Me and my partner were in Leeds in the night and came across this place and so glad we did. It is all you can eat across the whole menu and all food comes out fresh. You order food on an iPad and the waiter brings it over for you. Never experienced anything so good and unique before. All the staff were really friendly and attentive.

£47.95 for a Buffet!!!! Blue Sakura looks great. The staff are really good. But the food is average at best.I'm not sure I liked being spoken to like a child by the waitress. "Don't waste food or else"??? She may not have used them exact words, but that's how it felt. Essentially, this is a buffet. I did not think I was going to a buffet. The only thing different to a normal buffet is that you pre-order what you want, and they bring it to you. It comes out really quick, which means it's already cooked. That is not a good sign. If you like buffet food (which we know can be pretty poor), then there are places you can go to where you can get reasonable food at a reasonable price. Then you shovel it down your gob. This is not that place. The sushi was poor, and the rest of the food was pretty average. The only things that were good were the prawn tempura, chicken wings, and lamb chops. However, being ripped off for reasonable price food is not what I want to get involved in. Some dishes may reflect the high cost, but there were some that did not meet the high standard. In the end, with drinks that came to £66.00 each. If you are a big eater and can pack away lots, then you will love this place. You have only 2 hours, tho. Then you get kicked out.

We came here for the evening all you can eat dinner and loved it! It’s “small plates” style dishes that are served. You order as many as you like from iPads at the table, so you don’t have to wait for anyone to come and take your order. This is so much better than a buffet that you have to queue for like a lot of other restaurants. All the dishes were beautifully presented and delicious. The staff were all welcoming and very attentive, despite it being very busy at the time we went. My only criticism is the soft drinks were a little expensive (in my opinion) with the prices for soft drinks being just a few pounds less than the alcoholic ones. Alcohol was reasonably priced so I just stuck with wine - if you don’t drink alcohol, you will have little choice but to buy an expensive soft drink. Though not a huge issue, just consider this when choosing a drink. The mocktails were pretty good too, I’d say these are worth the price as they are hand made but I think £3+ for a Diet Coke that’s just poured into the glass is a bit unreasonable. I would still come again though as the price for the food is very reasonable so this balances it out. It was a birthday dinner so a little bowl of ice cream with a sprinkler was brought to our table 😊 The bill came to just over £185 for 3 of us, including the alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Aside from my above comment about the soft drinks, the overall cost of the bill is definitely worth it for all the food you get and I can’t fault the place. This review doesn’t do Blue Sakura justice with the limited photos I took but it’s definitely worth a visit and we are hoping to return soon.

Surely the best All You Can Eat in Leeds. This place is a family favourite, last night was no exception. The staff are always efficient and polite, and the manager went above and beyond for me yesterday in helping me to reclaim vouchers I had misplaced. Food was as delicious as always.

First time here but I have been to many Japanese Buffets in the UK & ROW. Fantastic food, especially the Sashimi, great service and atmosphere. Only minor niggle is a small bottle of still water was over £3! Overall though it was a great experience, lots of choice,

Everything here was a 10/10, got a voucher from friends to come here on a date and used it well. The welcome was very accommodating and all seats gave an amazing view of the decor. A well explained explanation of how the all you can eat system worked so was happy to give a service tip at the end for all the hard working staff. You never like 100% of the things you have at an all you can eat however all the food was up to a good quality and I would love to come back here if the place was a bit cheaper or it was a special occasion. The sushi and warm food were both amazing along with the dessert which had condensed milk and was surprising on how light and fluffy it was.

Our first experience here and wow, gorgeous. The pink lemonade is 10/10. Everything in the menu we enjoyed and it was to die for. Quick amazing service. This is my all time favourite restaurant. The food is always exceptional and the service is above and beyond. This particular visit was for our anniversary & we were made to feel extremely special. Our server Genevieve was so lovely, she really needs a shout out. Such amazing value! Atmosphere is always amazing too! I can’t wait to come again.

Food is good. Our server Genevieve is fabulous. Mens toilet only got one room which is ridiculous for a restaurant that can host 100+ people. Lamb chop is nice too.

The food and the vibe here was very lovely, especially the Mussel with grilled cheese one. It was nice to finish with fried bao bun dessert. The servers are also very attentive, especially Moe who helped us with the missing order and took care of the table. Lovely experience! xx

My wife and I went here with our niece and nephew. The service we received and the quality has been exceptional! We came over from Canada and this was our first experience eating sushi here. We will all come back! Also, if you’re debating whether to leave room for dessert do it! Order the deep fried buns, you will not regret it! I've been to a lot of restaurants in Leeds and I was really looking forward to coming here but unfortunately the food was very average and so extremely disappointing. It's a shame as the place is very pretty and the overall service is good & quick.

Great food, great service, can’t complain

By far the best Asian restaurant I've ever visited. Been here on a number of occasions and it never fails to wow. Food and service superb, amazing choice, all freshly cooked. Order by tablet, as many items as you wish in 90 minutes. Best go small dishes to appreciate the range and taste. This sets the bar for others to aspire to. 29.95 for lunch sounds a lot, but well worth it in our opinion.

What an amazing place! As we were celebrating a birthday we thought we would try something different. This is not just a restaurant, but a dining experience. I would call it a Japanese tapas. Everything is ordered via the iPad on your table. The food is then bought out promptly. They are smaller tapas style dishes, which is good as it allows you to sample various different dishes. Ideal for both meat-eaters and vegetarians. The food was extremely fresh and tasty. Whilst we did pay £42.95 per adult (weekday evening) plus 10% discretionary service charge, we both really enjoyed the food. We couldn’t justify paying this regularly to eat out, but an ideal restaurant for a special occasion treat. Often with the more high end posh restaurants, it is style over substance. They lose their authenticity. This is certainly not the case with Blue Sakura. Fantastic modern decor, with the food to back it up. Having ourselves travelled all over the far east and asia, this food is just as good. The service was also second to none with all staff super friendly. One tiny bit of feedback would be if there could be more written explanation / translation as to what each dish is on the table IPad. Thank you for a great evening.

We were at Blue Sakura last night to celebrate our daughter's 18th birthday. I can only describe everything in superlatives. The environment, service and food were perfect. Thank you for making our evening memorable.

Great experience. Service friendly and efficient. Easy way using tablet to order food. Glasses of water topped up frequently. Food excellent. Quite understand how they have five stars on scores on the doors. Cleaning of tables excellent. Place very clean.

Our first time and certainly not our last. It was for our wedding anniversary and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Took a while to get used to the app (age related). Staff were friendly and helpful, the food sublime.

I could not find a single fault with this restaurant. From the moment I arrived, 20 minutes early to my booking, I was greeted and seated immediately by he front of house staff. They explained how everything works very clearly and without any need for questions afterwards. Following that, my son and I ordered a whole lot of food that was delivered to our table promptly and with a smile, every bite was fresh, delicious and well prepared. Price wise, you can see my receipt, all of that was for one adult and child weekend All You Can Eat. You'd pay a similar price at other buffets, but here the quality is far superior, the location is great and the table service is something almost unheard of for this type of affair. The worst part of the entire visit was that I simply couldn't try everything on the menu in one visit, I'll just have to go back soon and finish up 😅 To everyone at the restaurant, keep up the good work, folks!

Visited February 2020 before the 1st lockdown. High tech order system. Authentic Japanese Food, a bit costly but worth it. Staff are friendly and excellent service. I will definitely recommend Blue Sakura to my friends. ❣️ Visited again last January 2022 for my birthday. Still lovely food and service. 💖 Attentive staff, they even gave me a free birthday ice cream with candle.
