This was an amazing dining experience from start to finish. The all-you-can-eat tapas menu was fabulous. The ordering of the food was easy and efficient. And the food itself was delicious. In a nutshell: wonderful food, service and staff. If you love Japanese food I’d highly recommend here.

Had an excellent lunch here. I was worried that because it was 'all you can eat', three for would come slowly and reluctantly. Quite the opposite! The ordering system is slick and food arrived at speed and in quantity. Service was excellent and food quality was too and it all represented great value. Only disappointment is that a lot of the dishes were only available in the evening service. Oh well, will have to go back! Hint: take friends who love food and aren't fussy.. You get to try a greater variety of dishes!

Staff are really good, friendly and quick. Using the ipads is great Some of the dishes didn't taste too fresh, the sushi being one and majority of chicken dishes tasted like sloppy frozen chicken.

Good Food very expensive not a place to regular visit but a nice place for an experience

I had dinner here which is an all-you-can-eat meal. I love all the dish, especially the sushis and grills. I was so full and happy with my meal. The staff is really friendly and nice.

This restaurant has a really beautiful Japanese atmosphere with pretty blossom trees and a nice layout. When you go in, the staff show you to your table and give you an ipad to order food from. There is a huge variety of food, from Nigiri to Grilled food.

Attend blue Sakura all the time - have been about 4-5 times in last 50 days. Normally love it. Our last visit was disappointing- I did email the restaurant to let management know but they didn't even have the decency to reply. Bar staff throw drinks on table and walk off, very miserable, hair found in food on one occasion. On our last visit, a staff member came over to inform us about the last orders, which is absolutely fine. We had just ordered some dishes and were waiting for 2 or 3 of them to be served before ordering dessert. However, before we had the chance to do so, the same staff member brought the bill – despite just telling us we had around 20 minutes to order dessert. Then, 2 or 3 members of staff cleared our plates before we’d finished, including taking away a dish we had only just been served. Our ice cream was brought while we were still eating those dishes, meaning it melted before we even got to it. We also noticed our second set of cutlery was dirty, and the plates have been marked and chipped on our last couple of visits. It’s a small detail, but I think it lets you down. If you're charging premium prices, it shouldn’t just be the food that’s premium – the overall experience should be too They clearly don't care about loyal customers as they didn't reply to my email.

Japanese all you can eat Tapas restaurant. Delicious food, excellent service. An excellent way to try Japanese food, eat what you like, leave what you don't like. Highly recommend

Can openly say the experience we had here was amazing. From arrival to leaving, wonderful food, engaging service and within about an hour of opening, completely filled with people. Definitely book the evening bottomless. Well worth it.

I honestly don’t understand the hype around Blue Sakura. After hearing so much about it, I decided to give it a try, but it was hands down one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had in Leeds. The food was shockingly bad—nowhere near average, and in some cases, downright inedible. Let’s start with the sushi—easily the worst I’ve ever had. The fish quality was sub-zero—not fresh at all, likely frozen and thawed multiple times, which completely ruined the texture and taste. The rice was bland, poorly seasoned, and had an awful, almost stale texture. Good sushi is supposed to be light, fresh, and delicate—what they served felt like it had been pre-made hours (if not days) in advance and just plonked on a plate without any care. The hot food was no better. Most of it seemed like it came straight from a freezer bag and was deep-fried just before serving. There was no freshness, no real flavour—just greasy, processed food that tasted like it belonged in a cheap takeaway, not in a restaurant that charges these kinds of prices. Speaking of prices—this place is a complete rip-off. For what they’re charging, you’d expect at least decent quality, but instead, you get mass-produced, frozen food that’s heated up and served as if it’s something special. Spoiler: it’s not. The only saving grace was the service, but even that felt more like a tactic to rush you out rather than genuine hospitality. The staff were polite and efficient, but it was very clear that their main goal was to turn over tables as quickly as possible. You barely finish a plate, and they’re already eyeing up your table, ready to clear everything away and get the next group in. It felt rushed, impersonal, and made the whole experience even worse. Overall, this place is a complete waste of money. If you care about good food, especially good sushi, avoid Blue Sakura at all costs. There are plenty of much better Japanese and sushi places in Leeds where you actually get quality food for your money. I wouldn’t go back even if the meal was free. One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Me and my friend went for all you can eat sushi at lunch time. The whole experience was amazing. We walked in and were immediately meeted with the friendly host who showed us to our table and explained how the experience worked (you order through an ipad). You get an hour and a half of unlimited ordering and the service was quick, attentive and friendly. The food was to die for. The sushi was gorgeous and the hot food was exquisite. The food and how much you can order is definitely worth every penny. Could not recommend enough.

Absolutely brilliant, I went there for a meal for my mates birthday enjoyed it so much that I booked it for mothers day. My Mrs and the kids loved it, the food was delicious and the staff were friendly. I would 100% go again and highly recommend anyone who has been to go and enjoy the Blue Sakura experience.

The food is great but we weren’t even finished eating and they were shoving the bull down our throats. They said we had 1 hour and 30 mins for the table and they were telling us we need to get ready to leave 45 mins into being sat down.

I booked for 4 adults and 2 children to come here for my mum's birthday. I confirmed the 5pm reservation via the link 2 days before. We arrived at 4.30pm wanting a drink in the bar area before our meal. We were told nothing had been booked, when the gent realised this he got abit rude and impatient with us. I said I had booked and confirmed the meal. He searched again a said I'd booked for 7pm and there's no chance we could be seated before this as they're fully booked. When I went onto my confirmation email it confirmed I'd booked 5pm. But when looking for my confirmation email, I'd recieved an email from the restaurant just an hour before we arrived stating that my booking had been changed by the restaurant to 7pm. We were finally seated (as an inconvenience it felt) half an hour later. Food was good, quick to arrive and it was lovely inside. Unfortunately we kept receiving food that we didn't order as they swapped our table number halfway through the meal, and we were worried due to the charge for not eating. We told the waitress but she didn't seem bothered we kept receiving other people's food. Finally we felt rushed to leave, I know we get 2 hours, but due to us getting in at 4.30, even though we wasn't seated due to the mix up till 5pm (our original booking time) they were ushering us out at 6.15. It's a shame, because we've been so looking forward to coming here, and I cannot fault the beauty and atmosphere of the place itself. Just the customer service needs looking at, along with how a restaurant can change bookings without confirmation. I'm aware this won't happen to everyone and if this hadn't happened to us it would've been a lovely birthday meal out. But it's all these little things which the restaurant needs to look at.

Los niveles de servicio son excelentes y el personal de primera. Un montón de elección en el menú y el tamaño de las porciones era muy bueno. El restaurante está muy bien situado y muy limpio. Por eso le di una calificación de cinco estrellas. Volveré a visitar pronto.

A very cozy place, beautiful and tasty rolls, gunkans, sashimi, a large number of delicious cocktails for any taste, a good decoration of the hall, however, it was a little dark in the hall, as for our company, in general we are very satisfied👍 we paid for the entrance at 43 pounds per adult, cocktails and the bar as a whole should be paid separately👌

Been here a few times now. Booking is advised as its always very busy. Staff are very helpful The restaurant is spotless. The menu is very large so I'm sure there's something to cater for everyone. Everything is made to order so perfectly fresh an made in house. They also have a fantastic selection of drinks ,cocktails an mocktails. I look forward to going again.

I loved the concept of ordering fresh sushi on a tablet and having the culinary delights brought out to you. Very helpful staff and attentive service makes for a brilliant meal out. If you are visiting in the evening, make sure you get the scallops - simply devine! Highly recommending!

Smiling staff, clean facilities, awesome buffet style food all ordered via a tablet from the kitchen piping hot and fresh in a 2 hour window, must go for anyone wanting to diversify their oriental cuisine without the post takeaway regret of ordering something you don’t like as everything is so so nice, will be back to pig out again

The food was exceptional, the service was close to 5 stars, waiter was great and we had a fab time. but the welcome was not fabulous and it felt like some staff didn't want to serve despite being only 9.15pm. Website claims it’s all you can eat but in reality in “conditional” in their words. Nowhere in the website does it say it’s “conditional” but again they claim you are obligated to view the menu before reservations and the menu states that it’s “conditional”. You are only limited to 30 servings of food per person. Each serving is like 3 slices of fish. 40£ for less than 1kg of fish is crazy.

Great buzz even on a weekday evening! The food was of high quality. The system crashed through the course of the meal but staff seemed unfazed and everything was sorted promptly. We were given extra table time and a discount at the end of our stay! Great customer service and will return again.

Decided to visit for a birthday meal, the food was really nice, I enjoyed alot of the choices of the menu. Only fault we had with the food was the salt and pepper chicken. Very hard to chew, the flavours were great but it was dry. Service - the service was great however 30 minutes before the end of our ending 2 hours. A waiter had came and asked us if we would like the bill and we said no. And she said OK well you only have 30 more minutes. Honestly I thought that was quite rude, felt rushed to leave and when the bill was finally brought to us. The waiters were cleaning the table over us, which I found is very rude aswell. We were both still seated attempting to pay the bill whilst the waiters were leaning over us and cleaning the table. Which should have been done once we had left!! Apart from that I really enjoyed it☺️

But wasn’t as much as expected The service was great they where friendly happy and fast at bringing food and clearing table from empty plates You only have. 2 hour sitting time which was enough time The food was really nice and colour full Was a bit disappointed with the logo outside tho and wasn’t turned on and wanted a picture but hopefully next time We are very much looking forward to going again But in the weekday afternoon so it’s a bit cheaper

One of the very best evenings we have ever had. The food was fabulous with no bad dishes at all. The service was top notch, could not be faulted. They accommodated our wheelchair/crutches without any fuss at all and best of all gave us a separate menu and ordering pad for the food allergy at our table. This meant, the person who usually feels a little excluded felt entirely included. Very very pleased, great work. If only everyone thought this way. Super fast, super friendly. Highly highly recommended.

What a fantastic restaurant! The quality of the food was impeccable, with a broad range of options. The service was extremely quick, efficient and friendly, and the atmosphere and decor in the restaurant was also really nicely done. It’s on the expensive side, but you absolutely get what you pay for, so I would say it’s worth every penny, particularly for a special occasion. I would highly recommend this restaurant and rate it among the best I have been to.

What a once in a lifetime event! I had always dreamed of coming here and finally the opportunity arose. I came here as part of a big group of 10 and we were given 2 iPads to order our dishes. The choice was vast and a little overwhelming so I closed my eyes and clicked a few buttons. The dishes arrived quickly and they were all delicious! There wasn't a single thing I didn't enjoy. I did feel I was disgracing myself with the chopsticks though and the first thing I ate was fish eggs sushi and it exploded and I ended up with fish eggs all over me. And I forgot you weren't meant to eat the whole thing with edamame so I was struggling with that for a few minutes then realised everyone else was only eating the little soy beans or whatever they are and discarding of the pods. I really enjoyed the pudding too. All in all a great experience. Can't say it was very social as you are looking at the iPad choosing what to order half the time, and the rest of the time you are devouring the food. A once in a lifetime event.

They have also some nice cocktails and the people working there are very friendly and fast to take the empty plates. Had a great time and defo will come back. :)

Absolutely beautiful restaurant. The decor was lovely and so relaxing. Staff really friendly and very helpful. The young lady who came to our table with the tablet for ordering was very patient with us whilst explaining how to use it. The food was amazing. There was only one dessert but even that was amazing. We did go at lunchtime and had to wait due to not booking but it was worth every minute of the wait.

As usual I had a fantastic meal… lots of small dishes of a wide variety of meats, fish and vegetarian foods. Not one was less than delicious. You are given a tablet and order directly from that and the food is brought out as it becomes ready so the traditional starter/main etc does not necessarily apply here. There is minimal waiting as food comes out of the kitchens fresh, hot and quickly. I particularly loved the won ton soup and had two portions. Amazing. The edamame beans, seaweed salad, grilled aubergine with teriyaki sauce were really good. Then I had tempura crab tempura king prawns, tempura vegetables, a couple of hand rolls, Japanese style mussels. The list went on. I didn’t have meat or rice or noodles but sometimes do and, again, really good. By this time I was too full for the dessert so had a simple half scoop of ice cream to finish off. Highly recommend. Worth rebooking for busier times.

Absolute gem of a restaurant serving all you can eat. You're given a tablet to order from and can do so for around 1.5 hours. The staff are lovely, food to die for and the restaurant is very pretty with it's fake cherry blossom trees and ambient lighting. They cater for dairy free and gluten free and provide you with a separate menu to check whilst you order on the tablet. Absolutely love this place and have been coming here every year for 4 years to celebrate special occasions. P.s. the tempura prawns are amazing

This place is busy! Make sure you book before you go. we turned up for lunch thinking we could walk in but they said they were fully booked for the day. Really disappointed as we had travelled to eat here. The man at the desk did not even suggest we could book for the evening, we realised this ourselves thankfully and booked an evening slot. The website is poor. Extremely slow and frustrating. The food here is good. It's fresh for sure and it tasted nice. The sushi was my favourite and the salt and pepper chicken. However, I do not think this meal is worth over £40 per person. I do think it's overpriced. The staff were great, very attentive and quick with orders and picking up plates. I don't think I'd visit again but it was a good experience to try.

We came to Blue Sakura to celebrate our anniversary and our engagement and the staff were soo lovely and were very attentive. William greeted us with glasses of champagne and they even gave us a cute surprise at the end.
