Phoned up to see where order was and was hung up on and told my food was left lying on the floor outside my door severely unhappy never been treated so horribly and it’s not cheap for food these days turned up semi warm and 2 kids that are up past bed time because dinner was 2 hours late

It would have been a 5 star rating if the food had been seasoned as per my order and if there wasn’t green chips. Normally the quality of food from here is amazing but today it was poor. Not sure if I would order from here again

Food didn’t taste right and it had missing items, So I won’t be ordering in future from this place or ordering anything from just eat!!!

Was greeted and made to feel at home by Cheryl and Anas. They have a good selection of halal and gluten free options. The batter used was light and not stodgy making their fish and deep fried mars bar absolutely delicious. Highly recommended for anybody visiting Glasgow especially East Kilbride to head over there, you won’t be disappointed

Batter is crispy, fish isn’t overcooked and dry. Everything came hot and delicious. Better than the fish and chip shops in Greenhills.

Food was absolutely disgusting never again

I normally collect my order but decided to get it delivered. Big mistake. The fish was dry, overcooked and the chips had become soggy. It took 90mins to deliver. I suspect the food had been sitting around for a while. So disappointed because the food is normally very good. I've requested a refund because it was that bad.

Been in a few times and there's 1 member of staff in particular, shay. She is amazing, very friendly helpful and understanding, my 2 children have additional support needs and run riot sometimes n she's been so helpful with them a few times. Food is amazing 👏 😋 defo recommend

Really great place to eat. Lots of variety, great quality, really reliable delivery. On the occasion it’s a busy night and there’s going to be a slight delay they always call you right away to keep you informed and they always make it fresh for your delivery. They take on board any special requests about your meal or any substitutes. Really friendly helpful staff. Honestly worth the money. A regular favourite in our house :)

Finally a place that does decent Macaroni Cheese! Can't stand that watery luke warm runny muck that usually arrives from other chippies 😅 This was lovely and arrived in 2 containers to keel it warm and to stop it spilling. Chips and cheese was OK too, as always needs more cheese but it was fine. Arrived quicker than expected and I loved the stapled closed Branded delivery bag 🥰

The sausages were basically uneatable they were rock solid and chewy, very unpleasant to try and eat.

Ordered food at 8.20pm, said around a hour delivery, delivery appeared 9.20-9.40pm nothing arrived when reported in app delivery time of 9.55pm popped up delivered at 10pm. Ordered from before never had an issue but almost 2 hours after ordering is a bit extreme on a Thursday evening.

Way too oily. I get fried food but this... come on! Poor quality. Either your oil is old and not hot enough or you just don't care!

We had a great experience here today - the fryer Cheryl was very knowledgeable and accommodating, and I had no idea they were able to cater for vegan, vegetarian and halal requirements. Our server Gothami was polite and swift, would definitely recommend eating here.

We stopped in today and our server Cheryl could not have been more helpful or accommodating, the food was not only delicious but excellent value for money. Cinas fryed everything perfectly. Could not recommend more highly

The food was good but the service was horrible the guy who served our food was very polite , helpful a woman comes and screams at us that we didn't pay extra to sit in when the guy who served us didn't tell us about this and told us to get out

Worst ever just eat. Chips were not edible ( looked like peelings or dregs from the frier. Disgusting!!! Special fish was more breadcrumbs than fish and fish was dry and overcooked.

Great gluten free fish and chips. So fresh, not greasy and staff all knowledgeable about gluten free. Lovely friendly staff too especially Sofwan and Cheryl.

I ordered the food at 7.30. It stated that delivery would be 45-60 minutes. I received notification that delivery would be 20.55-21.15. Notification that food was out for delivery at 21.11. Food arrived at 21.31. The food was cold. The chips were dry and looked like they were cooked over an hour. Not sure how it takes two hours to make fish and chips and when it arrives it is inedible!

Food never turned up the guy phoned and asked if I still wanted delivery and after saying yes still no food and now can’t get in contact with the driver or restaurant absolutely disgusting

I got a traditional fish and chips out of here and the fish was cooked perfectly and the chips weren’t too oily it was absolutely delicious.

Portion sizes are a bit small for the price but really good variety of options for vegans which is rare for a chip shop

Never ever has anything ready any time I visit, staff standing around laughing and joking then when I order they get me to pay, then tell me 10 minute wait on chips? Which cost over 10 quid for 2 portions of chips, how do you get business?

Hi am not happy with the time my meal took to get here over 2 hours we waited my husband had to leave for work and didn’t even get his meal and it’s not a meal you can heat up I am really angry I want a refund for this

Ordered food just after 6pm, arrived at 8.25pm after 2 phones calls to the restaurant! I called the first time and was told it was on the way at 7.55 , then called again and was told at 8.15 that driver had left 10 mins previous and blamed the driver. Also said the problem was they had received too many orders, this was a Tuesday night !!! Finally turned up at 8.25 and the driver said she had picked up from the restaurant in the last ten minutes. Food looked like it had been sitting for a long time, was warm but definitely not fresh. Absolutely disgraceful service, ridiculous delivery time considering I live less than ten minutes away. I asked for it to be delivered because it was my birthday and we had visitors. I am so angry, this has soured the event and unfortunately the food was not worth the wait either.

I came in with my dad for lunch today. Absolutely delighted with the fish tea we both had. Also Kim who served us was a lovely lady and couldn't do more for us.

Great gluten free options, gluten free fritters are hard to find in chip shops, the ones from here are pretty good.

I have had a gluten free fish supper a few times this past few months and this is definitely the best in East Kilbride. The service, staff and food are excellent. I recommend this restaurant.

The portion sizes were a bit small for the prices. I’ve ordered from other chip shops that do much bigger portions for the same price or less. The battered sausage I ordered was really delicious though don’t get me wrong the food tasted great.

Great food and loved that it came early, I hadn't booked it for a specific time. I used Blue Lagoon many years ago in their shop near Central Station (I'm showing my age 🤣) and the food in the East Kilbride store is every bit as good as I remember.

Unhygienic practice all round. No hand washing whatsoever. The staff are touching food with their bare unwashed hands for no reason, like arranging sausages into a pyramid, when they should be using tongs. Disgusting practices and I would never eat here. Young asian man touching raw fish, then money, then back to serving chips without washing his hands. Older heavy set man touching everything in the hot cabinet with no hand washing at all. Do not eat here unless you want to get ill.

Absolutely freezing onion rings were so soggy hamburger and chips didn’t seem cooked.

Travel in Scotland a lot, one of the nicest places I’ve ate in Scotland, Kim who worked there was great and made sure everything was okay, 10/10 will definitely be back

Food was piping hot wasn’t over done with salt and vinegar, very tasty pickled onions top scran chips could have been cleaner thought they were dark and not that good of quality but other than that great meal
