This used to be the best Indians going but however my order came and I’ve never tasted anything like it! No flavour and about 3cm of grease in every dish! Ordered a chicken chaat that had no taste apart from grease and oil, a pathia which was the same! The chicken masala was ok (ish) very watery. The chicken tikka starter was the nicest part! 100% recommendations on that but anything a BIG NO

Ordered the all week meal deal, easily enough for two people to share. Food was gorgeous and not greasy. The chicken tikka korma was the nicest korma I've had. And nice to see somewhere do a cheese naan.

Pizza looked nice, but the base was soggy. And didn’t really have much of a taste to it.

Chicken was dry,sauce was like water,never again paid £16 pounds, food went into bin,so I have no tea after working 13 hour shift

Chicken tikka was a bit dry. Missing chips.

Chicken Kahti Balti was excellent! Chicken Tikka Pakora were disappointingly soggy. Sag Aloo was ok. Def order the main dish again though!

Nice meal spoilt by an inedible nan, reheated and tough.

Fantastic food, great value for money and great delivery

The kebab wrap was really nice. However could do with probably more sauce than provided. However that could just be a personal opinion.

Gutted I asked for masala sauce on my loaded fries and they came only chips , cheese and chicken tikka pieces so were really dry . Don’t get the loaded fries if you want something massallary.

Decided to give this a try after ordering from the same place for years and we were very disappointed. The food was very late. As a result it was cold, the breads and chips were soggy and hardly edible. the cauliflower was so watery I could not even eat it. tasted like cooked straight from frozen. Chips were missing from the order. I called to ask about delivery and could tell they were too busy to even talk to me or offer anything. This is leaving no choice but to leave a poor review. None of the food was good. Some was passable. Back to our trusted, small takeaway it is.

No salad with onion bhaji starter

Unfortunately, we requested no onions in the masala and the dish came with onions in.

Ordered king prawns got shrimps. 8 shrimps in a sea of sauce. Food was cold. Tried to phone restaurant no response. Rice was cold - vegetables pilau I did not order potato pilau I understand it’s a cheap vegetable there are others available really disappointing leaving just eat repeatedly disappointing

We ordered Butter Tikka and Chicken Tikka Korma but when it came both meals were exactly the same. Was there no Butter Tikka available and we both got Korma and you thought we wouldn’t notice? Not impressed. Won’t be ordering again

The food was outstanding and piping hot as always. However, i was disappointed as there was not a drop of garlic sauce in either wrap! Wrap was still good, just annoying about the garlic sauce.

Very disappointed with our food. Ordered a Bhuna and tikka masala and both were watered down tasteless slop.

Absolutely wonderful. Some of our usual places have changed their menu/recipes on the milder options but Blaydon have it spot on. That's not to say they don't know how to bring the heat where it counts though, 5 stars all round for sure

Best curry in the area. Been going here for years and always get a good meal. In 20 odd years, yes, they might have got the odd side dish mixed up, but they can't be beaten on quality

Absolutely awful! Just over the water from Newcastle decided to give it a go after reading such good reviews..curries inedible, tikka masala was full of coconut and very sloppy, madras sauce no taste, tangy and spicy chips inedible, the rice was lovely and white 1st mouthful had to spit it out tasted vile( don't even know what of) Also ordered peswhari nan and keema nan, both soggy, the peshawar had no taste just full of coconut...gutted full day at work, treat to keep us going and all binned, do not recommend. Such a shame high hopes, place was lovely and clean with pleasant staff.

Forgot to send nann bread when contacted they weren't apologetic at all and said they would get the driver to drop one off waited over 40mins for it to be delivered which caused the rest of my food to be freezing cold. When the nann was eventually delivered it was stone cold and it was not in a edible used them alot and never had any issues but I don't think I will order again due to the service when I called up to advise my order was missing an item.

Excellent food and picked up time specified

Advised collection time of 7:15, order was supposed to be ready to collect. Barley any meat in the kebab wrap and the garlic cheese nann was burnt to a crisp. Shall not order again.

Most of the food was very nice but the biryani had too little sauce.

If I could rate no stars I would. Disgusting watered down currys with no taste. 4 seperate dishes so no excuses. All for £52 as well. Never again. DO NOT buy from.

We thought by using just eat that this place would get our order correct. We had stopped using them due to continually receiving the wrong order and always in their favour. But sure enough, the food came and again not all the order was there. They said they would send up the missing bag of chips when the driver returned but considering they offered this the last time and the missing item arrived 2 hours after original order we wouldn't accept this and asked for a refund. Will be interested as to how long this will take to be received!

Paid £52 for 4 curries, 3 rice and 2 chips.. Good was bland and had no flavour to anything, was luke warm and tasteless, couldn't even differentiate between the curries! Won't be ordering again

Great quality, value for money

Food was nearly an hour late and was cold.

Order said delivered but it was not. Called shop and full of excuses before saying my order had been lost and would be re-done and sent out. Think they just forgot about it and tried to cover themselves.

We order regularly, but this time the food wasn't as warm as it usually is when it arrived. Delivery lady asked if we had lost our key? We haven't lost our key (which I assume she thought was the reason for answering the door late), but checking the camera she knocked on the wrong house first and our neighbours didn't answer the door. Food was nice as always but delivery a bit of a let down this time.

We order from Blaydon Tandoori at last once a week. We love the food, great service and we try to tip the delivery person every time. However, tonight the food was cold and the chicken tasted weird. Really disappointing.

Food was over 35 minutes late. The restaurant phone wasn’t working so we couldn’t call and ask where it was, despite trying multiple times from different phones. When the food arrived there was things missing from the order, and the food that was there was cold throughout. The curries had a few small pieces of chicken in. We order regularly so are very disappointed.

First time we've ordered from here and will definitely be ordering again in the future. Food arrived hot and it was delicious.

Did not listen to delivery notes

Great food but orders are consistently wrong, wrong nan bread or rice missing, yes they bring it along but what use is the food half an hour after you've eaten.

Half my order was look warm and jalfrezi not as good as I've had in the past.

My order said it had been declined while a tried to order on like so a rang up and order payed cash on delivery , for them to ring me up and say it had gone through but said it hadn’t when my son rang to check them placed the order a would like a refund please .
