Blas Restaurant at Twr y Felin in Pembrokeshire

Hannah has been brilliant. Away celebrating my birthday for a couple of nights, and she has been so hospicious and professional.... leaving me a Birthday card, chocs and a complimentary bottle of prosecco. Hotel is stunning, and our upgraded room is outstanding.

We had an amazing few days, we had breakfast and dinner each day during our stay at Twr Y Felin Hotel. Blas Restaurant was amazing, chef accommodated me extremely well as I have food intolerances and allergies... I was blown away by the alternatives provided for me, the high quality presentation and flavours of each meal were absolutely amazing. Thank you all so much for catering for our needs and making me feel so welcome. The restaurant has an amazing team. 🥰

We ate here on our first visit to Pembrokeshire and would certainly return. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being overbearing. The food? Well, it was fantastic Parfait and Hen of the Woods to start, Stone Bass and Lamb for main and Rice Pud and Panacotta with a very good Albarino and Tokaji. Couple the above with a November 15% discount on the food made for a very nice evening!

Attentive service, perfect pace did not feel rushed at all. Very relaxing. Food was beautiful, sample menu is the menu we had. My husband had mackerel starter which he raved about. I had parfait, delicious but extremely rich. We both had lamb main which was also delicious. Recommend.

I’ve been fortunate enough to stay at the hotel and have enjoyed this restaurant multiple times over the years. My dining experience this past Monday was absolutely wonderful. Each dish perfectly prepared and an absolute smasher. The staff as always were excellent, and the 3 courses I chose upon the teams recommendation were world class stunners. I can’t speak highly enough of the entire experience. It really is the best in Pembs and my favourite meal since I visited Daniel restaurant in NYC last year. An absolute must when visiting Pembrokeshire, the chef is an artist, very fitting for 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 only true art hotel.

The food was excellent and the service good, but it was very expensive and the servings were very small.

We had lunch here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The service was very good and the meal was delicious. The baby gem lettuce in particular was delighful, in fact the balance of flavours across the whole meal was awesome! What let it down was the ambience. The restaurant itself was very quiet which didn't really help, but it was the dark, oppressive internal decor which let down the dining experience and mastery of the chef. This is a building of historical interest but the interior is more akin to the gloomy, bland browness of so many hotel chains - no character and no nods to the hotel's past. It didn't spoil our meal, which we really enjoyed, but it did detract from what should have been a complete 5 star experience.

Oppressive art and a dark room with no windows over shadowed the excellence of the food and wine. The connection between pre dinner drinks and the meal was poor.

The food is nice but felt penny-pinching. there weren’t enough staff to offer the service one would expect. We found the decor oppressive, it’s an ‘art’ hotel and there are a lot of paintings, the ones in the restaurant are terrible.

This venue has clearly had some serious investment. The decor and furnishings reflect this. The menu as a previous contributor wrote ,is small but still varied .The food itself was superb and matches any higher end venue in London. The lady Maitre D was charming ,helpful and very informative about local issues. The waiting staff again ,we're friendly and well versed in their work. Despite the earlier reference to the obvious investment in the establishment ,the ambiance was cold and clinical and not conducive in creating a memorable evening. I am not sufficiently qualified in hospitality to know how to rectify this ,but feel the general feel needs urgent attention.Such a shame as the quality of the food and service would only be found in a handful of places in Wales.

Stayed one night to celebrate a birthday . On arrival we were greeted by friendly , efficient staff . Our room was exceptional ,with a wonderful view. The food was simply divine , the evening meal , well , each mouthful a culinary delight . Just need to mention Delyth in the bar , Marion in the restaurant and the attentive waiters , fantastic service throughout . I believe Fiona is the manager and is doing a great job leading her team of professional , competent staff . A wonderful establishment situated within walking distance of the coastal paths, the town and Cathedral of St David’s . Has to be one of our favourite hotel stays to date . Thank you all so much . We look forward to returning .

Had a meal here... fine dining at its best

We visited for our anniversary. Slightly uninspiring hotel exterior and dark interior but welcoming staff and polite service. Menu is limited which is always a good sign . Real fine dining , lovely flavours and beautiful presentation. Desserts were exquisite . Lovely experience for a special occasion.

The location is fantastic, the food was divine but the service was terrible. We waited ages for a drink in the bar, the restaurant manager did not offer to call us at the time of our reservation, the bar manager did not offer to take our drinks through - even when prompted by my partner. After our main course the plates were not cleared for 15 minutes (we timed it because of earlier poor service) although a table that had been vacated was cleared. The bar manager was not smartly dressed and her shirt was having out towards the end of our meal. If you purport to be high end please deliver - you are letting your chef down.

I took my family to Blas Restaurant to celebrate my Mum’s birthday last weekend. I had the smoked salmon for starters that was delicious and presented beautifully. The lamb with mashed potatoes was cooked to perfection and the sticky toffee pudding was the perfect way to end the meal. We were given a lovely area by a window and looked after a lovely young lady. As I had mentioned it was my Mum’s birthday on the reservation we were given complimentary welsh cakes that were a delight. We enjoyed our meal there and would definitely return as well as recommend to people visiting the area.

Wow - amazing restaurant and such lovely staff. We had a lovely bottle of Rioja and the lovely staff member decanted it for us. They delivered the nicest tasting soda bread with a honey crunch topping to start. Apparently it’s made on site by the chef. Then starters we had the goats cheese on beef tomato and crab. We shared both and both were lovely. Mains we both had the lamb which was cooked to perfection, tender and delicious. Dessert we had the cheese board. All absolutely delicious, and lovely atmosphere. Thank you, I would highly recommend if.

Excellent service, and food that was amazing! From the sourdough bread to the rhubarb and custard dessert ( the name doesn’t do it justice!!) everything was full of flavour and beautifully presented.

Not cheap, but spectacularly good. 4 courses, all outstanding and a very decent Pinot Noir at a fair price .

From the time we checked in until we left the staff were excellent, Louise and Fiona on reception were polite, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Stayed for one night on a Whistle-stop tour of South Wales and what a find it was. Pristine throughout. The room had great facilities which included a balcony with sea views. To top things off, delicious food and a great standard of service from the restaurant.

Lovely rooms all round pleasant experience

Very well presented with interesting artwork on display. Lots of black/grey décor made the dining room rather gloomy, our room too especially on a miserable day weatherwise. Food very good, service generally very good, but breakfast was a bit stop/ start. A very friendly hotel. Hated tha Vamoose app. Had to arrange a time for breakfast when we arrived, app would only offer 10.15!
