We went to their teepee for some food and a drink today. Our first impressions what that it was a really cool spot, especially on our doorstep. Then the food arrived. We ordered 3 small pizzas and a side of triple-cooked chips. There is no word other than terrible to describe the quality of the food - chips were raw (never mind triple cooked), and the pizza bases tasted like half cooked cardboard. A coke and a beer cost me the best part of a tenner too - so for a £50, I feel well and truly ripped off. They’ve got the opportunity to do something mega here, it feels like such a waste. Next time I’ll go to the Hollie’s.

I came here with my family on father's day and it was amazing, certainly there was lots of various shops, we even went to see the birds of prey, as I love the different types of birds of prey. Staff are amazing and very helpful and always go that extra mile to make your adventure here special, thanks to staff and keep up the fantastic work.

We’ve been visiting Blakemere Social for a number of years but this weekend we were very disappointed with the drinks prices. We were charged £6.50 for a half of Lemonade with a splash of orange cordial. Is this correct? We were with a group of 4 other people. They agreed that the drinks were far too expensive and would not return. Whoever owns the Tepee, you need to revise the drink prices. It was a glorious weekend and there was hardly anyone using your bar. Everyone flocked to the other places. You’re loosing business by setting your prices too high. Same goes for the pizza’s and the chip shop. The quality is poor and the prices are unrealistic

We hired the VIP area for both of our Birthdays, which has become an annual tradition. We were lucky enough to have Gail assigned to our table for the evening and we honestly can't thank her enough, she was truly amazing. All our friends and family were greeted on arrival and we never wanted for a drink all evening. Outstanding service! Food was pretty good too, and the cocktails were perfect.

Much smaller than I was expecting, food was just average with me having fish and chips and it took an age to come. Music was good and staff were very helpful.

Attended my nephew's birthday party here who himself is a regular here and what a cracking night it was. On arrival its a holiday park but once inside the tipi that's when it all transforms. Considering it was basically a tent on a cold November night it was warm inside. Greeted by staff and once in the VIP area the service was fantastic. The staff are everywhere and cannot be faulted. There is food but it gets brought in from outside and even though we never dined other party goers did and their food looked lovely. There is a DJ but the main entertainment was Kristix, an energetic drummer who came on 3 separate times through the night and she was fantastic. All in all a great night. It is expensive but worth it for a great night with great entertainment. Free parking next to the Courtyard and tipi. Thanks for a great night guys 👍👍👍

It was quiet when we went in. Unusual way of getting food. You order at the table and then it comes in takeaway boxes. They also deliver to the campsite; saw a young man cycle cinema a couple of times with campers dinners. We ate there the first evening, the second evening friends came to visit and ate there. The best campsite meal ever! Said one.

Firstly the good points I will say this place is great for a day out for all the family and lovely to see how it has grown over the years. Easy to park and wander around the shops and courtyard. I visited on a Saturday afternoon and we had a browse around the shops and bought some gifts. All the staff we met were friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed the experience Our visit was let down by deciding to visit Blakemere social for lunch. The giant tipi is a lovely warm space on an autumn day, and we ordered lunch and drinks. Our drinks came first after quite a long wait and the waitress apologised and said she was on her own, but that was ok. After a wait of around 50 minutes our pizza and garlic bread arrived, but a while later when my son and husband had nearly finished their food there was no sign of my chicken burger, or the loaded fries we had ordered. I realise that they come from different outlets and would not come together but it had been missed out. and it would have been nice if this was made clear. We were sitting in the window and could clearly see the outlet that it was coming from and the man there was not busy at all so I asked the waitress after an hour if my food was coming and there seemed to be a panic with staff running round putting it together quickly and when the burger arrived it was boiling hot including the bun and the salad. The loaded fries were also boiling hot and completely welded to the cardboard box. The meal must have been microwaved. I can forgive mistakes but the food was not cheap, and regardless of the wait it was very poor quality. The pizza and garlic bread were like cardboard. I asked for a refund for my part of the meal and this was granted, and I was offered a free drink so there wasn't any more the staff could do. I was also alarmed at the hygiene standards as I saw a young man brushing up and emptying rubbish into the bin, and then go and give cutlery out without washing his hands. I think some training and someone overseeing the staff would raise standards, and better quality food.Lovely day out but if you want lunch go to a local pub on your way home.

Came here when camping at the nearby Blakemere touring park. such a nice place with a great atmosphere which feels very much like being somewhere in the med while being in sunny Cheshire. Food was fantastic and thoroughly recommended. Staff are all really friendly and seem genuinely happy to be there. The Saturday DJ/ Sax combo is brilliant and just adds to the feeling that your sat on the beachfront somewhere else.

Ordered food at 18:17 for delivery to my caravan, chips pie gravy. Pizza and garlic bread £27.After an hour I walked up to see what's happened to the food to be told by pizza guy it was for collection the guy working the tepee confirmed it was for delivery. The delivery driver dropped me off and that was appreciated however the food was freezing and the offer of a free drink was an insult. Tried a few times to call the number advertised and no answer even after leaving an answer phone message still no response... absolutely disgusted with the level of service. One star because I couldn't leave zero stars.

Fantastic setup, weird at first as ordering drinks was a little strange but great place and the saxophone player was awsome! Very warm too considering it was a huge tent

Great service, terrible food, the exact opposite of the village restaurant over the road. Burnt pizza, undercooked fish all arrives at different times. Not good. Gave up after planning to spend an evening in here while camping. Shame as potential for greatness is high but suspect poor management let's it down, same as the village. EDIT to reply, I know they come from different kitchens, but the time difference is insane my second unburnt pizza came out the kitchen 45 minutes after the stuff from the chippy van for the wife, whose fish was under cooked. To any normal family when out for a mea, this time difference is mad, I'm not sure why I'm the first to raise it. Your staff replaced my burnt pizza no problem, but not so much as an offer of a free drink. I wish I had took a photo as it was sent out the kitchen looking like it had been chucked out of an active volcano! We won't be going back, shame as we use Blakemere touring Park along and attend lots of events there, always had good experiences of the eateries on site but not anymore.

30/09/24: Popped in for breakfast with friends and the obligatory mooch around J&S. Full English breakfast and a mug of tea is value for money and can set you up for the day. The decor is nothing special, but as it's predominantly a bikers' café that's not what it's about. The tables are big enough and spaced out well enough to be comfortable with biker clobber on, but it can get a bit noisy when it's busy and, as it's popular, it does get busy, especially in biking season. There are some back issues of bike-related mags if you fancy a read during your visit, and there is some outside seating for when the sun puts in an appearance, but this is a bit tired and could use a refresh. Service is generally dependable, but can be variable and depends on who is on shift. We've always got what we ordered, but some of the staff have in the past been miserable or surly, which takes the edge off a generally good experience.
